The venue and setting is stunning - all of our guests thanked us for getting married here just because they were so happy to see beautiful Rangeley Lake! Our bridal party loved staying in the farmhouse and we all enjoyed the charm and decor in the farmhouse and the bridal cottage. We enjoyed every aspect of the property - BBQs on the lawn, drinks around the firepit, and of course our wedding in the gorgeous barn.

s perfect: the wedding party stayed in the Farmhouse, we held the rehearsal dinner on the porch and welcome party in the field. The day of ceremony, cocktail reception, and dinner were all held in the barn and outdoor space. Even the Rangeley weather cooperated! I could not imagine a more perfect setting and Adrian's organizational skills made it a memorable event for all. I highly recommend.

Stacey and Adrian were very supportive and helpful throughout the wedding process. We had potential for rain during the ceremony and there were contingency plans in place to hold the ceremony in the barn if needed. (Great piece of mind!) Luckily the sun held out and we were able to use the incredible ceremony site a short path walk up from the barn with the backdrop of Rangeley Lake below. The barn venue had plenty of space (comfortable/cosy in a good way) for just over 100 guests. I used local (Rangeley, ME) vendors for catering and flowers who work closely with MSE - another benefit. Guest housing availability on site and very close by (within a mile) made this venue a great choice for us as everyone was traveling from out of state. I loved having the Honeymoon Suite to ourselves right next to the Farm House. We held our rehearsal dinner at the Farm House in a relaxed BBQ buffet that we brought in. Low-key and fun! If you are looking for a rustic/barn venue that has an easygoing and elegant feel offering a phenomenal package - look no further. MSE is the best option out there - I know, I looked at every barn venue in the greater northeast and nothing compared.

It’s located on the eastern-end of Rangeley lake, and the hill the barn sits on provides the perfect view of the lake and surrounding mountains; the setting made for some unbelievable photos, especially with the foliage turning colors. I could not be happier with our experience at Mountain Star! Almost everyone was traveling in for our wedding, and the on-site lodging option with the Farmhouse made housing our friends and family super easy. Stacey and Shane were also only a call away if we needed anything while we were staying in the farmhouse. The wedding itself went more perfectly than I could have imagined! Stacey and Adrian are masters at running events. The barn was set up for reception early so that we could decorate before the day of the wedding. We made a special request for blueberry Moscow mules for one of our signature cocktails, and Adrian made some amazing blueberry syrup for them herself. Our ceremony was also outside, and Adrian made sure the gravel path was free of goose poop so that I didn’t drag my dress and veil through any of it; talk about going above and beyond! I also can’t put into words how beautiful the estate is. The farmhouse is so cozy, the bridal suite is an absolute retreat that is perfect for getting ready the day of the wedding, and the barn is straight off of a rustic Pinterest board that hardly needs any extra decoration. If you’re looking for a rustic venue in one of the most picturesque regions of Maine with the nicest, most helpful staff, then Mountain Star Estate is the perfect venue!

on-site. It felt like a Thanksgiving weekend, except it was our summer wedding! The farmhouse is perfect for doing your own rehearsal dinner and morning-after brunch to save on costs in an already expensive situation, and makes for a cozy atmosphere. The outdoor space provides a perfect landscape for socializing, playing, and enjoying the fresh mountain air of Rangeley. Kid and pet-friendly, plus breathtaking backdrops for photos (especially in lupine season!). The night sky is spectacular given limited ambient lighting and the fire pit lends an intimacy to the evenings. Beware any outdoor ceremony space comes with the risk of noise from neighbors and cars passing by (in our case a truck sitting somewhere not far off playing audible music during our vows, ha!). The reception Barn is a perfect canvas for making your personal Wedding vision come to life, and the owners are an incredibly talented and thoughtful couple of builders/designers who will make just about any vision come to fruition. Recommend to bring/hire a day-of coordinator to manage schedule and communication with vendors, bridal party, guests, etc., and to clarify what will incur additional expenses if budget is a concern. We had 100 guests very comfortably fit.

o the details that we inexperienced patrons desperately needed. They easily accommodated the short notice, and took this task and worry away from us! Just weeks before the scheduled event was supposed to go, we determined that we would not be able to pull all the details together in time, so wisely decided to reschedule for the fall of 2018. They fully supported our decision without hesitation. This was so appreciated at this challenging moment. Now, with the blessed event behind us, I happily attest to the overall quality of the MSE wedding experience. The farmhouse accommodated our large family for pre-wedding festivities, easily making the friend and family dinner one that gave a true "at home" family event, as well as cozy inn overnight accommodations for all. Our guests spent the weekend reveling in the beauty and serenity of the vistas afforded by the MSE, definitely providing a needed measure of comfort as we readied for the event. We are forever grateful to the folks at MSE for being an intricate, incredible part of our wedding journey. If you are looking for a a wedding event venue, in the Rangeley area, look no further! In addition I need to tell that Angela's work with all details including the flower arrangements (which she took on without hesitation at the last minute:) was phenomenal. Both she and Stacey maintained continuous contact throughout this process, accommodating us at each turn. We always felt they had us. The wedding went off without a "hitch"...they were present to guide us through the hours leading up to the ceremony and beyond. We are forever grateful to the proprietors and memory makers of the MSE!

eception space is idyllic and the bridal suite (OMG!!!!) is gorgeous. Our wedding photographers must have taken a thousand photos in that one space alone. We even stayed for a few days after the wedding to relax and unwind. Just truly perfect.

my lead and ran with it! Having the entire site for the whole weekend was also wonderful. Easy to stay at - get around and explore. Rangeley is ONE of a kind and this venue makes having your wedding there easy and beyond beautiful!
