It truly pains me to write negative reviews, and I've sat on this review for over a month, but I truly would hate for anyone else to go through this on what is for most people the heaviest-investment on a singular day in their lives, their wedding.
I could sit here and list tens of things that were incorrectly done for our wedding and in the days leading up to our wedding, but I would run out of space.
The behavior shifted when we were not willing to invest $14,000 on items such as graphics and other decorations that the Mr. Hospitality team was planning to outsource to Etsy, Amazon, and their partnered vendors. After conversation we were able to retain 97% of the "design" for a fraction of the price. We were allowing them to take creative lead, due to the trust we placed in them and their abilities and experience.
They then paired us with a photographer on their vendor list, without our approval, who did not fit the vision of our wedding. After conversation, we were left to find our own photographer ONE month prior to our wedding.
Our wedding ceremony was scheduled to be a "sunset" ceremony, only for my partner to realize one week before our wedding that they had not taken Daylight Savings into account- we realized (they did not), brought it to their attention, and their suggestion was to tell our guests to come 1-1.5 hours earlier, five days before our wedding.
We spent thousands on items they did not put out at our wedding, a small less than 100 person intimate event. Our guests ate on paper plates, our wedding photos had others walking in the background in coats, and items from our personal inventory went missing and were never put out.
The most frequent response from Mario was "we had other events going on" when asked for some type of response throughout our entire planning process. We cordially outlined all the aspects that went wrong with our wedding, in the days after only to be met with "it's been professionally and emotionally taxing trying to gauge and monitor you guys", it wasn't until we finally were at our wits end and expressed our anger and disappointment that we received the response "I have done all that I can do to address this matter"
The solution? $3,500 refund on a hefty investment with them, as well as tens of thousands of dollars wasted on a wedding that was executed horribly. I honestly wouldn't have left such an extensive review, but it was OUR GUESTS who pointed out all the things that were embarrassingly wrong, while we were waiting to come out to our wedding. The rest of the time, I (the bride) spent walking around my own wedding trying to find chairs for people and organizing solutions that we had entrusted them with.
Throughout this process, we've been gaslit into thinking our concerns were invalid, but when an entire wedding witnesses the "15 years" of inexperience which they felt was necessary to remind us of- I know I'm not wrong.
Our wedding is a day we will never get back, not only did they rob us of what should have been a beautiful memory for us, but they dragged our first month of marriage out into an embarrassing constant reliving of the mess of a day they "designed".
Had the best experience with the MR. H team (Kristina, Kiara, Mario, Laura). Obsessed with every one of them. They were attentive, detail-oriented, communicative, and truly wonderful humans. As a person who is type A and highly planned, I had reservations around using a DOC service, but I could not be happier with the support we received. Truly invaluable and made our wedding even more perfect.
We hired Mario, Kiara, and Selena to be our month of wedding coordinators and it was the best decision that we made! The month leading to the wedding was extremely stressful for my fiancé and I because we had a lot going on. From the start, Mario and his team were extremely organized, thorough, and responsive. They analyzed all of our contracts and frequently communicated with us and our vendors to ensure that the day of the wedding would be flawless. Any issue or concern that came up throughout the planning process and day of was expertly handled by Mario and his team; their problem-solving skills are truly amazing! We loved how they had solutions for every concern. They took away all of our stress and worries which allowed us to enjoy the wedding with our friends and family. We also truly appreciate how Mario and his team regularly checked in with us during the wedding to ensure that we were happy with everything. If you are getting married, hire Mario and his team NOW! My fiancé and I cannot recommend them enough!!

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Hospitality for my June 25th, 2022, wedding. I purchased the month of coordination package. By the time I decided to get a wedding planner I had already booked the Rose Garden at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden for the ceremony, and Akwaaba Mansion in Brooklyn for the reception. I am one of those late in life brides who did not have visions of weddings -ever. I knew that I wanted something simple, elegant and something undeniably ours. I do project management for a living- so I thought I’d be able to handle wedding planning. Never have I been so happy to delegate then when I decided to hire Mario and his team of miracle workers- Kristina (I will FOREVER be grateful to you), Kiara, and Sam (you are AMAZING!). First of all, by the time I met with Mario, I had already been in contact with four other planners. Did I mention I started looking for planners two months before my wedding? I decided to go with Mario’s team because during the initial meeting/interview his calm demeanor, his listening skills, and his lack of pushiness made me feel comfortable. I was a nervous wreck, and I had so many questions before I decided to go with Mr. Hospitality. They answered them quickly and completely!
Let me tell you. They jumped right on in. Professional, punctual, and personable. At our first in person meeting at the Mansion where I got to meet Mario and Kristina- I knew I was in good hands! First of all, you want a team that can see your vision- and expand on it. Both Mario and Kristiana shared so many good ideas at that first meeting – I was excited for the first time! Kristina is like no other. I miss her right now. She is smart, a design maverick, calm and able to handle any crisis (my menus had not arrived three days before and I was a wreck- she handled it). The design plan they created took my Pinterest ideas and made it a vision of loveliness. Loveliness. I mean I was AMAZED. I had no floral person- no worries they had that covered! I wanted to get my guests from the garden to the mansion and they connected me with the trolley service! We had an unconventional ceremony in the garden. I had an idea of how I wanted things to go and both Mario and Kristina listened to me- and showed me an alternative way that would be good for the videography. I had no idea that I needed to even think about photo lines… They even showed up to practice on Father’s Day!!! Early. The day of the wedding I kicked my heels off to walk the garden barefoot at the last minute. Guess who had my too expensive to leave shoes? Mario. They had EVERYTHING covered. Sam jumped right on in and handled the groomsmen mishap with so much finesse- no one knew they messed up! Also, at the reception she was on her knees cleaning up a mess my daughter made- you can’t buy that level of dedication!! During the reception I had no worries. Everything and I mean Everything was STUNNING and amazing. Kristina kept everything on time and running smoothly!
Hire Mr. Hospitality. If you want to know that your event will go better than you envisioned, if you want to work with people who are passionate, personable, and dedicated- I promise you, you will not be disappointed! They are worth every penny.
Mr Hospitality planned and designed our wedding and we couldn't be happier. They made sure every little piece went off a hitch and put an absolutely gorgeous event together. They helped with any snags that came up on the day of event and made things as effortless as possible for us.

Mario and his team planned an unforgettable event that although not as originally intended, was nonetheless stunning. Mario is ready to answer any question and attend to each and every detail. My son’s micro wedding was gorgeous, and perfect in every way. No matter how large or small, Mario is the ultimate professional. Highly recommend!
It's hard to put somebody else in charge of an event that is so very personal and special to you - knowing you only get one chance to do it right. And Mario, said trust me.............and we are so glad we did!! From the moment we officially met him (two days before the wedding - though there had been many planning phone calls) at the destination location I knew we had chosen correctly. The event was perfect, the team professional, the vision carried out to perfection and credit goes to Mario and his group. Could not have chosen better!
Mario and his team were excellent! Very on point, didn’t miss 1 detail and made it so non stressful as a bride and groom! He maintains his cool and is always reassuring but owns up to his promises. Would HIGHLY recommend him for a wedding and event planner and we plan to utilize him and his team again if we have a large gathering.
When people ask me about the nightmare that wedding planning is, I simply cannot relate. That is because Mario helped make wedding planning an easy and fun experience. Since the very beginning he helped me get organized, and tailor my vision. I went into wedding planning with a clear picture of the look I was going for, which was very well over my budget and hard to steer away from after my mind was set. Mario helped us achieve our dream wedding, he never disregarded our ideas and delivered much more than we could imagined. Mario helped us achieve our dream wedding, he helped manage our budget and prioritize as needed. Mario's creativity, and impeccable attention to detail turned the empty and raw space into a true fairytail. Mario and his team were very attentive and consistently available, they helped us screen vendors, offered suggestions for vendors (which were all great from photography to florists to caterers), and always follow up with emails and notes within all parties. Mario made wedding planning stress free as he helped filter emails and information that came my way, this made the experience much more manageable and less overwhelming. Mario and his team made the whole process easy from start to finish, even providing me with a day of assistant who was incredible. Mario and his team made our dream wedding a reality.
Whereas some people are born to be midwives or doctors, Mario was born to create and deliver amazing events with precision and class. He was able to streamline mine and my husbands expectations with respect and helped us focus on the overall vision we had for our special day. With his help, we were able to turn our dreams into reality and celebrate our love.

We were set on a vision of what we wanted from the very beginning. I had read a lot of reviews of other planners where some people stated that thair planners would take full control of the wedding planning and the couple wouldn't have much input in the end. With Mario we were able to communicate all ideas and none were shot down. They did exactly what a wedding planner should do, they helped us create our vision of our dream wedding.
Mario and his team took the ideas we had brought to the table and worked with them to create our dream wedding. Mario was actually with us on the day we chose our venue. He walked around with us and helped us envision what our final wedding could look like on the big day, which made choosing the venue that much easier. Mario and his team would meet regularly with us so that they could present new ideas to us and let us know how the expenses were going and how it was fitting into our budget. They even took the time to meet up with our DJ, that my wife and I personally chose, so that they could work together on set ups for the dance floor and etc. at the venue. Mario and his team helped make our lives a lot less stressful by dealing with finding the vendors themselves and then taking the time to find the best quotes on pricing. From the chef, to the florist, to the limousines and on and on, they took care of all of it for us.
On the day itself everything was perfect. From the decor that they set up at the church to the venue itself. Everything was well timed and organized. Our familes and friends still talk about how great the food was and how they loved the venue and the way it was set up. I wasn't even able to eat a slice of my wedding cake (stuffed myself on all the delicious food). Everything was perfect. Coffee was served at the end of our wedding to our guests as a little way to warm up (we got married in December) and Mario and his team threw in fresh baked cookies as a bonus free of charge, which was a very nice gesture and greatly appreciated.
They always paid attention to what we wanted and even offered to receive the rest of their payment a little after the wedding, just in case. Thanks to Mario and the team we had the wedding of our dreams, with a lot less stress than we probably would of had and one of the happiest days of our lives.
I would recommend Lifestyle Event Group to anybody! Anyone who has them working on their side won't regret it and will have their dream wedding when the big day comes!
Mario and his Lifestyle team were AMAZING.
They literally planned, organized, coordinated and executed our wedding absolutely perfectly. I'd say that we are a difficult couple in that we were never specific about our preferences (read: we didn't have a vision for our day or specific colors in mind, etc), which I know only made their job harder. They had to start by figuring out what it is we liked/wanted and build up from there.
When we were surfing for vendors at the start of our wedding planning, I found many of them to be unresponsive and difficult to get a hold of. Granted I don't know if their responsiveness would have improved if I had chosen them as my vendor, but Mario was incredibly responsive from day one. All throughout the process he would respond to my emails and concerns almost instantly.
We were also planning our wedding from across the country, which was no easy task. He arranged weekly skype calls and conference calls with his team and us to make all kinds of decisions and discuss progress. And whenever we were able to make a quick trip back to NYC he would always arrange to meet us, no matter how last minute the trip.
So as far as planning a wedding is concerned, Mario and his team definitely made it as easy as they could for us.
Next up: the actual day of, where the good only gets better. They worked incredibly hard to make our space absolutely stunning- elegant, fun and simply gorgeous. Before the ceremony Mario made sure our wedding participants knew where to be and were comfortable with what they had to do. Cocktail hour was unreal (the raw bar with shrimp and oysters was out of this world!!), and dinner was absolutely delicious. The wait staff did an amazing job at serving the food (everyone at a table was served a plate all at once- it looked like it was straight out of Beauty and the Beast or something). And finally, the rest of the party was amazing! Champagne glasses were constantly refilled, the bartenders were great, and everyone just had a marvelous time. They also worked really hard to stick to our budget, and make the most out of our time at the venue. We had some late night passed snacks that were also awesome and much appreciated by all.
The day was no easy task as we picked a completely empty space with very little decoration. So everything fell on Mario and his team- from renting the tables, forks, glasses to positioning couches and flower arrangements to brighten up our venue. (Which, by the way, we put Mario and co. in charge of instead of us dealing with a florist).
All of our guests just raved about everything.
We literally could not have had a better day, or picked a better group to put it all on for us. It was truly, truly amazing. We will certainly recommend them to anyone we know in a heartbeat.

What a great job from start to finish. Mario and his team payed attention to everything i said that I wanted even though my ideas were very scattered. They made my dreams come true despite my confusion. They are heaven sent and they work with your budget.
