We planned our wedding with plenty of time, and were able to speak with Joann, which was amazing. She answered any and all questions we had. The big day finally came, and all I could say was “thank god we got Muñoz.” Our photographer was Tom, and we couldn’t be happier. He is FULL of energy, and is a true professional within his craft. He would tell my wife and I “let’s go here I love the light.” He would see the shot before he took it. Once he did capture the image, you’d be left in Awe, and he hadn’t even edited the photo yet. Further, Tom isn’t afraid to get down and dirty. He would get on the floor and climb anything to get the perfect shot with the right light, while in a suit. Tom and his team would ask us if we wanted any additional photos before we moved on, we never felt rushed. Along with Tom, were his two assistants, Santi and Romeo. However, the assistants aren’t lackeys that sit and do nothing while Tom worked. Instead, they took the lead and captured all of the shots during the party. They both had the same artistic eye as Tom, which is a relief. At the end, you pay for what you get, and at times, sometimes the old hispanic saying “the cheap stuff ends up being expensive” is very true. While im sure there are other great photographers out there, but I promise you this, none, are Muñoz. P.S. don’t be a pain to your photographer(s). These are people too and are doing a service. Treat them with respect, and joke with them. I promise, they’ll appreciate it even more, and will perform even better with if you approach them with a positive attitude.

usually pretty nervous in front of a camera, but they helped me embody confidence and made my laughs genuine. I chose them because after looking through hundreds of photographers, their photos just stood out. They were ethereal - capturing the beauty in a sense of grandeur. If you want one easy decision for your wedding - Hire Munoz (and ask specifically for John!)

I saw them. I immediately booked them and then ended up having a little misunderstanding with them and worried I would regret my decision. Despite this I would still give them 10 stars if I could. During this misunderstanding I got on the phone with the woman who runs the family biz, aka "mama bear" and she talked through it with me until everything was resolved. It truly was just a miscommunication and we ended up totally on the same page, but she gifted me a free hour of photography just for the trouble. Amazing way to handle your business. Then we ended up changing the timeline the morning of the wedding and they totally just went with the flow and changed everything around for us no problem! Anthony and his team (Graham and Romeo) show up and get all the bridesmaids smiling their best smiles because these men are HOT. We weren't quite ready so they instantly got to work grabbing any and every prop they could to get detail shots and set things up for us. They did not let one minute go to waste. So hard-working all day/night!! Also, these are the people you want working hard for you if you have a wedding party that is not "with it," whether that be kind of drunk, not paying attention, goofing around, etc. They are VERY personable and easy to get along with, but have a perfect amount of assertiveness to get people in line and get all the shots. They don't make you take 10 of the same photo, they just get you in the spot, grab it and move on. So efficient and the wedding party doesn't get burnt out and start looking sloppy, and you don't have to just be stuck in the Florida heat (or wherever) holding a smile until your cheeks hurt. Then the teaser photos were instantly available the next morning! I cannot wait to get the rest back!! Love this team so so much!

my husband and I got married February 2019 at the Boca Raton Resort. Finding the perfect photographer for our wedding was one of the many things I obsessed over. I didn’t want just regular pictures that anyone could take. I wanted each shot to look like a work of art and that’s exactly what Mario Munoz from Munoz Photography gave me. You know you had a great photographer when you have so many favorites that you can’t narrow them down enough to make an album. Not only were my wedding pictures stunning, but also Mario was able to do something I didn’t think anyone in this world was going to be able to do which was handle my family. My family is very large, very opinionated and very loud. I was so stressed that A. they would piss off a photographer so bad that he/she would leave mid-wedding and B. I would somehow forget someone important, not get a picture with them and they be highly offended for the rest of my life lol. But lucky for me Mario is in every way a professional and also has a sense of humor which really helped calm the nerves the day of. He managed to get group shots with everyone I love and absolutely no one was left out. My grandmother was not feeling well that day and missed the photo portion of the day, however Mario made it a point for us to get a picture together regardless and also took some of my favorite candid shots of my grandmother and I which I treasure. Also, since the point of this post is to give back I really recommend doing a first look. Mario was able to convince my husband to do a first look. At first my husband was extremely against the concept, but luckily Mario was able to convince him and that is literally the only reason we have intimate and stunning photos of just us. On your wedding day you’re a ball of nerves and all you want is for things to go smoothly. I feel like Mario was such a crucial part in making sure my wedding went as smoothly as it did. They scoped out the venue space and its' surroundings in advance so everything ran smoothly day of. We've seen tons of pictures of other weddings at our venue and ours were THE BEST. Aside from that, they are just a wonderful family and cool people. We had a daytime wedding, and after our wedding ended and friends all went home, we texted them to see if they would take us around NYC for some cool pictures. We stayed out partying with our photographers going all over the city, including a late night chinatown dinner - in a wedding dress! They took the coolest pictures of us on the subway, under the lights at Times Square and in chinatown. It truly felt like we were hanging out with friends and we didn't want the night to end because it was just so much fun! Their passion in photography is so evident and it was so fun to get to know them and to see a more personal side of our photographers. Hanging out with our photographers after our wedding was one of the coolest things we have ever done. And our wedding was amazing. If that doesn't say "Book Tom" we don't know what does. And of course, the thing everyone cares about, the pictures. They were FANTASTIC. We expected to get around 5 "wow" pictures, but we got two dozen that are worthy of framing, we now just need to figure out where to hang them! And best of all, we got the proofs 2 days after our wedding!! In summary, if you want the best, you found them!

mily from the very start. We are from Miami, FL and chose to get married in Ravello, Italy. Mario and Lauren helped to make our wedding day so memorable. They scouted the area a day prior to see where the best pictures would be. The day of the wedding they were so in the moment, and they made us feel so comfortable. Being photographed for a couple hours isn’t usually the most relaxing and fun thing to do. We laughed from beginning to end with Lauren and Mario! You spend a lot of time with your photographers the day of the wedding, so having chemistry with them is so important. We enjoyed every minute around them laughing throughout the entire day. Mario kept the energy high from start to finish. The passion he has for what he does is really something to see. They are always prepared and ready to hit the ground running! We received some first look photos the morning after the wedding! It was amazing to see how quickly they turned around pictures from just a few hours prior. We were so excited to relive our special day through these photos. The quality of the work by Muñoz Photography is second to none. The photos were breathtaking and left us wanting more. They go above and beyond to get the most amazing, perfect, unimaginable shots. Not joking when I tell you Lauren was pretty much in a tree bush while making sure the lighting on us was just perfect! There is no one picture of us with parents together from both sides ( Mario, the photographer, said he doesn’t take those pictures); i asked to take pictures of us on an empty rotunda ( we renter the venue because we were picturing to have that picture on the rotunda) and we got shots at night in the darkness; my request was to take pictures of the groom with the son getting ready for the ceremony and none were done; a picture of a very expensive wedding dress looked like a dress from the second hand store, so I asked to take it off from the album. We put so much thoughts and creativity into our table setting and didn’t get any good pictures of the reception setting and view. Even after multiple retouchments- pictures don’t look that good as you see on Munoz websites. There was a long negotiation on retouching pictures (three times over the same things over and over); after picking the album cover and following up on the album in two months, the answer was that the font we picked would not work with the cover material we picked. I wonder if we would not asked about the album, would we ever receive it ? When while picking up the album, Joanne, the owner / manager, didn’t apologize for presenting our album a year later together with a 2019 calendar (it is October 2019 at the moment ). If you paid $2,500.00 for master files - you will not be provided with a flash drive or CD with the pictures - you will have a two week access to pictures online to download those files. The 3 stars I’m giving this company are solely due to Joann Munoz. Had she not been there, this review would have been 1 star. We worked with Armando. The issues started one week before the wedding when we had a phone appointment to discuss a few last minute details. When he called me, he had no idea what my name was. He called me Megan many times during the phone call (my name is Rebecca). He thought I was calling to setup an appointment to discuss the “package”, when all of that had already been done and my wedding was a week away. This should have been a sign for me that problems may lie ahead. Once we sorted that out, I asked him if he needed a list of photos I wanted to be taken. He assured me that was not necessary, that this was his job and he knew what photos needed to be taken. My second mistake was listening to him. On the day of my wedding him and his team were running a half an hour late. As a result, there was no pictures of my makeup team doing my makeup or of my mother helping me put on my dress. Prior to the wedding I told him I didn’t want to leave the party at all and wanted to get all photos completed prior to the ceremony beginning. When I asked him to do more romantic photos with my husband, as well as, pictures with bridal party on the beach, he said there was no time. As a result, he pulled me and my husband from our wedding reception to take more pictures, after I specifically requested not to. I only have one picture of our bridal party. On the note of missing pictures: we had a Jewish wedding ceremony and there was no capture of my husband stomping on the glass. For whatever reason there were also no pictures of my husband and I exiting our ceremony. In my option, there is no reason for a professional company to miss these big events. In all of our family photos there are shadows and lights in the background of the pictures. They are dark and terrible quality. For amount of money Muñoz Photography charges for their services, this is simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, I am unable to go back in time and get any of these photos back. I will say that Joann Muñoz, after listening to my concerns and viewing our photos, did everything she possibly could to rectify the situation. Though unfortunately, I can never get those photos missed or the ones with bad quality retaken. I get a pit in my stomach every time I think about all of this. At the end of the process, our album looks beautiful because of Joann and her hard work. I have known many other people who have used Muñoz in the past and they have not had any of these issues. I don’t know if Armando was just having a bad day or if this is the way that he typically works, I just felt important to share my experience with you all.

n the door until the very last photo. From dancing to make the flower girls laugh, to handling our complicated family dynamics with ease and professionalism, we are so impressed. Tom’s energy is infections and having him (and the rest of his incredible team) there completely made our wedding day!! - Jake and Rayna
