Kim did a wonderful job creating a beautiful floral arrangement and bouquets for us. She was very upfront with us about all the details and helped us to bring our wedding to life. The flowers were exactly what we had envisioned and more.

Kim was an amazing florist! She really took care of our special day! She was prompt and managed to make our wedding exactly as we’d dreamed of!

Kim created the wedding florals of my dreams! I went into planning really unsure what specific flowers or even aesthetic I wanted. I even tweaked my vision slightly to more blooms and less greenery about 2 months out from the wedding. Kim was patient and helped create the most gorgeous floral arrangements that were better than I could have imagined. All my guests complimented how stunning my bouquet was. She curated flowers that were both dreamy and felt authentic to who I am. Kim provided set-up services for both our ceremony space and reception area which took a lot of stress off my family and myself the day of the wedding. She works with my venue (Herrington on the Bay) often so was very efficient. I would definitely recommend Kim and her team to any brides looking for floral services.

My Flower Box Designs did an AMAZING job on all of my florals for my December wedding, all wedding night I kept staring at the flowers and saying how beautiful they were. Kim helped me so much with what kind of flowers go together, picking different types of eucalyptus, and helping me figure out how to repurpose arrangements. Our color scheme was a burnt orange( which is a hard color to tie in) , sage, and champagne/gold and Kim did an amazing job tying that burnt orange into the florals. She helped me add last minute details, and she even included some extra pieces that I was not anticipating. Being able to rent all of the centerpieces, aisle candles, and arch from MFB was so easy. They were dropped off and picked up without me having to coordinate anything. The hardest part of the wedding being over was parting with my flowers. Absolutely stunning, and will be recommending Kim and her team for years to come!

Kim did a great job with designing the bouquets and sweetheart table displays. She was able to go with the flow with any last minute changes like adding an indoor arch after we decided to change our ceremony to indoors.

If you are thinking about using any other florist don’t bother, THESE PEOPLE ARE AWESOME! Kim was such a pleasure to work with. I showed her my Pinterest inspiration and she nailed it! The flowers were absolutely stunning and exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t find any florist that did tropical theme, so when I saw Wedding she previously done, I was more than excited to reach out to her. Very friendly and professional. Kim did such an amazing job with our flowers! She was extremely flexible-- we were able to show her inspiration photos, many of which were well outside of our budget, and she would explain what changes she could make to fit our vision while staying within budget. Our wedding was delayed due to Covid, and with that our ceremony location changed, along with some reception details, and she was so easy to work with to accommodate all our needs and changes. She created a beautiful floral arbor for our outdoor ceremony, and then resourcefully repurposed those flowers to be used on our head table and mantle, so that they would not go to waste after 30 minutes. She added beautiful details to every space of our venue, including our light fixtures, seating chart, photo table, and cake, and made the entire space beautiful and cohesive!

Kim was so easy to work with. I know very little about flowers so I was nervous about explaining what I envisioned. I spoke with Kim about what I was trying to achieve and she nailed it! She created gorgeous hanging greenery fixtures the hang from the ceiling over our guest tables. They raved about how the hanging pieces over their table created an intimate ambiance. The bouquets were also phenomenal.

We booked My Flower Box for our Fall wedding and loved how the flowers turned out! We worked with Kim to design the perfect head table and it turned out even better than we had imagined! The MFB set up team was great and very professional. We are so grateful to them for all their hard work to make our day beautiful!

Was not happy with our experience at all. Kim has great reviews so I had very high hopes. Maybe because the ceremony was only 20 people and the amount of floral arrangements ordered were minimal it got pushed off. I had sent images at our original meeting of exactly what I wanted for my bouquet and arbor flowers. Two days prior I received an email asking what my bouquet was to look like. The image sent was a full size bouquet and what I received was a small bridesmaid size. For our arbor there were to be an arrangement going slightly on the top and down the side in one corner and a small arrangement on the middle of the other side. Instead she put two round bouquets in each corner and it looked very cheap. Overall not what I expected.

Kim was wonderful to work with. She listened to what I was looking for and helped to make it a reality. Our flowers were bright, vibrant and beautiful and we got so many compliments on them. If you are considering work with My Flower Box Designs, I highly recommend you do!

Kim was such an amazing florist to work with! She has a huge selection to choose from and listens to exactly what you want. My vision came true on my wedding day - the ceremony flower arrangements, garlands, centerpieces and bouquets were all so dreamy and perfect! I highly recommend working with her!

Our daughter's wedding at the USNA was postponed 4 times as a result of Covid-19. Kim was fabulous in working with us throughout the last two years. From the beginning she offered terrific suggestions and then was extremely flexible as things continued to unfold. In the end, Kim came in, beautifully prepared the reception area at The Officer's Club and put together perfect bouquets and boutonnieres that made the day just what we wanted.

My wedding was 2 month away when I found this vendor. I wish I never did. They messed up in any way possible with everything like bridal bouquet, decoration arch, centerpieces and on top of that some flowers were NOT fresh and they didn't put any greenery on the gift table which we paid for. They agreed on giving some refund back, but since then ignored emails and texts. What a service… 1. Ceremony arch. The arch at the venue has black metal plate right in the middle that I wanted to be covered with the the flowers, but it wasn’t. When wedding was over I asked Kim and she told me: “I guess you didn’t see it ahead of time, we would fix that for you”. I was getting ready for my wedding day… And I thought that sending vendor a picture of what you want and talk it over through emails and calls would be enough. The flower person started to put arch away while we were doing photo session, and we had to ask for additional 5 minutes :( 2. Bridal bouquet. It was just a huge disappointment. I provided photo of exactly what I want, mentioned adding as an accent JUST A FEW burgundy roses, didn’t wanted to be too dark. But burgindy dark roses were all over my bouquet. Peonies: Kim email me night before the wedding at 10pm that they did got peonies in little darker then expected. Peonies were WAY DIFFERENT COLOR than I wanted. They were supposed to be whitish, slightly pinkish, but they were way too dark pink :( And on top of that the worse part the bouquet was that some flowers were NOT fresh, the gardenias, yes, the expensive ones :( 3. Centerpieces. We had 2 stores restaurant and ordered 2 types of centerpieces for each floor, centerpieces for guest tables upstairs and cocktail tables downstairs. On top of having wrong peonies color, vendor mixed up the centerpieces between guest tables and cocktail tables. 4. Communication. It sometimes took 1 week to have a respond back from this vendor. The last email I wrote 2 weeks before the wedding (August 6) asking Kim how I will get my bouquet on the wedding day and I NEVER heard back from her, I just figured that one out on my wedding day. Couple times Kim sent me a very first proposal without any correction that we already did through the emails of calls. Most details I provided was just ignored :( I talked to Kim after the wedding, what was it all about and she said they had 3 event that day. Honestly, why would I care, As a customer who paid a good check expect good service in return but we had everything wrong.

I've worked with Kimberly on my daughter's wedding at the Officers Club (USNA) and she did an amazing job! I gave her photos and suggestions and she made it happen! the room looked beautiful very elegant and classy, she captured our theme very well. Thank you Kimberly!

I’d like to start by saying that I had an issue with my original florist 6 weeks before my wedding and needed to hire a new floral vendor last minute. Kim did an amazing job of reassuring us in our very stressed state and executing on our vision perfectly. We were very impressed with how everything turned out and couldn’t have asked for a better experience especially given the circumstances. The only comment I’ll make was around candles day of - the votives and pillar candles we had provided didn’t make it to the tables. Not sure if that was honestly supposed to be placed by the venue or the florist but the flowers were amazing regardless and we didn’t even notice until the event was almost over. Husband comment: I didn’t have a strong opinion about flowers, but after the disaster with our first florist, Kim was incredibly reassuring and also provided a more detailed proposal so we knew what we were getting. I was very impressed with the flowers and they were very fresh and beautiful during our ceremony and reception.

Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with and brought our tropical vision to life. The flowers were truly amazing and our guests were SO impressed. If I had to do it all over, I would book My Flower Box Designs again in a heartbeat.

My Flower Box Designs brought my vision to life. My fiancé and I had originally planned a destination wedding in Nassau, Bahamas but the pandemic caused us to change our plans. We wanted to bring a tropical feel to our local wedding and My Flower Box Designs delivered exactly what we wanted. The flowers they put together were above and beyond our expectations. Wow! The blue dendrobium orchids, calla lilies, Casablanca lilies, and monstera leaves bouquets and centerpieces added just the right touch and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was. I had a location change for my wedding. From Baltimore to Richmond, so I was unable to use her for my wedding. She did allow me to use my 600 dollar deposit for bridal shower flowers. They were wilted and poorly put together. There was a lot of tape on everything and they just felt low effort since it wasn’t a wedding I was disappointed.

When it came to flowers for our wedding, we had a general idea of the sort of themes and colors that we wanted, but did not know what types of flowers to use, etc. Kim Tyson was very informative, professional, and responsive. On our first meeting, she went into so much detail, breaking everything down, from color, to flower, to size, etc. This was one of biggest reasons for choosing her. We could see the time and effort she put into the initial meeting and we knew because of it, the flowers would be a reflection of that. When the wedding day arrived and we saw how everything was put together, we were blown away. Everything was perfect and looked even better then we could have imagined when we first met with her. She turned our vision into a reality and we are so thankful we chose Kim.

Kim was extremely personable and helped me take the pieces of different bouquets and designs that I liked and created an exceptional floral arrangement. As someone who has no knowledge of flowers or types of greenery, I was very intimidated when it came to designing floral pieces that would anchor our wedding. Kim went above and beyond with her knowledge and creativity when it comes to floral design.
