Ned and Julia were so lovely and attentive throughout our entire wedding day! They made every photo shoot feel organic and integrated into the whole day. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars for Ned. He did an incredible job with both our engagement shoot and our wedding. He has an eye for capturing the most important moments, especially the small ones you don't always expect. Ned is very communicative and flexible, as well as open to last minute changes or quirky suggestions (we had a few). On our wedding day, his professionalism and calm presence truly helped set the tone. We're so grateful for Ned and we encourage you to give him a holler for your event!

My fiancé and I are both naturally camera shy and tend to feel awkward in front of the lens, which had us feeling nervous going into the shoot. Ned was phenomenal! We are so happy we went with him for our October 12, 2024 wedding.
Ned was professional, communicated with me often, and was able to finesse planned shots and documentary styled shots like we really wanted!
We loved Ned’s documentary style and are so glad that he captured true moments from our day! He also loves night sky photography and was able to get a few shots for us as well!
Ned worked with our budget and time flawlessly and was open to discuss options if our budget changed.

Couldn't recommend Ned enough! My husband and I are not big photo takers and we gave Ned a tough task - a very short window for posed pictures and a VERY high bar for luxurious, classic and timeless photos, with the vast majority being live, unposed candids. He nailed it! Beyond the photos he took of us (which are absolutely beautiful), what really stands out are the photos he took of our immediate family that really reflect their personality. I know that may sound obvious, but a lot of friends have complained about photographers not taking photos of family members. I love the photos he took of my family the most.
Finally, Ned is just a great guy. We had a very stressful life event happen right before our wedding that could have easily ruined the day. Ned has been such a positive and bright light during and after the wedding - helping us feel relaxed during the moment and being super responsive to photo requests since then. Couldn't recommend him enough!

We can't recommend Ned highly enough! He’s pretty popular in the area, so we feel lucky that we booked him when we did. Not only was Ned incredibly accommodating for our difficult schedule, he made us feel so comfortable that we were all genuinely laughing by the end! I’m usually uncomfortable in front of a camera and my fiancé and I came in a little nervous, but Ned’s professional yet genuinely warm manner gave us the confidence to shake the nerves off and actually have fun! It was worth it for just the experience itself. Then we saw the photos and they knocked our socks off! The best ones were the pictures we didn’t know he was taking. He finds those perfect moments and captures them so beautifully. Ned is a deeply talented artist who also has the rare gift of making people making people feel comfortable right away. Thank you so much for the beautiful photos and great memories of a fun & special day!

We feel so lucky that we were able to nail down Ned when we did. We reserved him later than most couples usually do. It still amazes us that he was available on such a popular weekend (9/21), because his talent, personable touch, professionalism and quick thinking place him at the top of the pile for Maine, or New England for that matter, wedding photographers. We connected easily from our first meeting and he was always in regular communication in the months leading up to the day. He was punctual, efficient, and knew very well who he could rely on for any information he needed as to not distract us from focusing on the moments. He got along very well with everyone he spoke to, and by the end of the night he felt like another guest we had invited. He even went out of his way to help the event coordinators get us anything we needed, like water and sodas to keep our energy up for the rest of the night. I couldn't imagine our big day going any better, and Ned was a huge part of the success. He had some samples for us to see the very next morning and knows how to keep up the excitement even after it's all over. We'll be recommending him personally to anyone we can in the area, and I hope this review helps with wider exposure. He's the best and you'd all be lucky to have him!
