After graduating from floral school and working with brides that their wedding were falling apart. I felt the need to go to Wedding Planning School. With over 20 years of experience and over 400 weddings planned and executed, I have gained invaluable knowledge of the wedding and event industry. This experience includes working at reception venues, bridal salons, catering companies and design studios which has given me an understanding of all facets of event planning. In addition, I’m lucky enough to own a florist with my wonderful family. I have worked with some of the most amazing vendors.

Five stars are not enough to rate New Orleans Wedding Planning LLC. My daughter was married in New Orleans on 4/27/24. It was a destination wedding so it was difficult to do wedding planning from afar. Sue Rudiger and her crew made it easy, arranging vendors, expediting, directing, setting up, breaking down after the reception...everything! They did it all. The day of the wedding, we had nothing to do except get ourselves ready and arriving. The wedding ran smooth as silk as was the reception. It was literally flawless. Sue Rudiger and her crew are absolute professionals in every respect. There is simply not enough praise to heap upon them.

Sue was a wonderful help in planning our destination New Orleans wedding. She and her team have DECADES of experience and personal relationships with nearly every top rated vendor. She assisted in not only recommending vendors and helping book several like our rentals and second line, but also made sure the vendors we selected ourselves were quality choices as well. If you are looking for someone who will keep you on your timeline, provide assistance with any troublesome guests, and ensure your day is executed flawlessly look no further than NOWP.
Our day of coordinator and bridal assistant, Claire was an absolute star. She was professional, kind, and ensured we kept our day moving. Between our French Quarter photo shoot, walk to the venue, and second line- we probably put in 15,000 steps and she was there carrying my bouquet and ever growing day-of bridal bag every step of the way. She was there for anything I needed and even gave me assistance for things I didn't know I needed. She was everywhere at once and ensured my day was quite literally perfect.

We hired Sue and her team to assist with our small, at-home wedding and I'm so glad we did. Sue was fun to work with, responsive and thought of things I never would have. Her staff was polite and went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly. Sue brought peace of mind and allowed me to just enjoy the day. I would highly recommend her for your wedding!

Mrs. Sue and her team helped bring my husband and my wedding dreams to life. She helped get us deals, got us the best vendors possible, and organized all contracts, timelines, and kept us stress free throughout the process. I am so thankful I hired Sue and her team to help me with my month of wedding planning! They helped me with things I never even thought of and made my day so stress-free!!! Rachel was with me the whole day and I’m so thankful for how she paid such close attention to details and assisted me throughout the day. I have to say that planning a wedding can be difficult but with New Orleans wedding planners everything was amazing. From the beginning Sue and her team were great to work with and answered all questions we had. They made sure all vendors were organized and had everything we needed to make our day unforgettable. Sue was amazing to work with and her assistant Rachel who stayed with me all day on wedding day were incredible and made sure we had everything we needed and so much more! I would definetly recommend them for any and all of your wedding planning.

We had a wedding that the attendees are raving about on Facebook. We had about 360 guests from all over the country. Sue is a genius and is extremely organized. You hear about the stress with a wedding, but with her help we put together an over the top event at Metairie Country Club within 6 months of getting engaged. We used The Knot to manage our reservations and it worked well. With Sue we actually organized 2 events. The afternoon before, a cruise for out of town guests and the wedding party on the Creole Queen. Went off without a hitch. Then the wedding event had every food imaginable and flowers that would have pleased the Royal Palace. Our wedding cake loaded with flowers, every table, wedding party flowers were over the top. We are very particular on flowers but Sues Beth’s Flowers sourced some beautiful beyond description. She also has contacts with everyone it seems. Our 13 piece band kept everyone on the dance floor 2nd song till the end (we had the first one!). When we needed tuxes she got them lined up in minutes. I could go on and on with the things Sue did. But everyone was perfection. She is the best!

OMGosh! I could never have pulled off a destination wedding without Sue and her team! I live in Georgia and I had to plan my wedding from afar. She handled everything!!! She gave me great advice on what vendors were awesome and she had everything signed, sealed and delivered for me in about a week and a half. Talk about no stress!!!
The day of my wedding was so easy and I couldn't have asked for more. I had two planners with me to help me and they catered to my every need. They made sure my parents had food and drinks and everything went flawlessly. Their staff was so attentive to both me and my husband and family......Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Can I give them 10 stars????

The communication process with Sue and staff were very inconsistent and confusing. There were various people responding to the same questions on email giving you different responses. We are very concerned about the ball being dropped with wedding planning details and basically had to take matters into our own hands. This was a complete waste of money for the services that were poorly provided. We were told someone would be there at the rehearsal and day wedding, but they could not tell us who it would be until the day before. The lady who they sent was very nice but inexperienced. She had no clue as to what was going on. At the wedding, she should have noticed the bakery sent the wrong wedding cake. The lady was missing during half of the reception. My sister had to get all the light ups and turn them on and pass them out. My sister eventually saw the lady who was standing there drinking a coke and asked her to help. If you want a stress free and positive experience, I recommend using someone else.

Rachel, the planner that was with your bride, has been with me for over 5 years and does an excellent job. To address your concerns: I do know what is going on with all of my brides. I have been communicating with Celeste, your new mother-in-law since April of 2023. I am sure that you were not aware that we have communicated in 228 emails back and forth since then. I apologize that you feel that my advice was “terrible” and my answers over email seemed “rude” to you. I do joke around a lot, and I have a large personality and maybe that came across to you as “rude”. As a wedding planner for over 25 years, I think my advice has been very solid to my brides. Typically, at the end of the wedding, a lot of the guests have drunk a bit too much and brides tend to not want to purchase those pictures. I try to direct my brides to ensure that the hours that you have paid a photographer for are used to cover the most important aspects of their day. I spoke to Celeste for over an hour on the phone and we ironed out the details of the itinerary, including the start time for the wedding. I don’t ever send a final itinerary until the bride gives the ok. I would have sent a preliminary itinerary out and then we go back and forth with the bride and update it as needed to get to the final. We do have one email and we all use that one email so that everyone is on the same page.

When you reached out to me to book PARTIAL planning services for your daughter’s wedding, you told me that you had everything done except transportation and ceremony music. These are the items that you contracted with me to assist you with. And in the end, we assisted with not only transportation and ceremony music, but tracking your invites and RSVP’s, Booking Pedicabs, 2nd Line Band for rehearsal, hair and makeup, officiant, save the dates, hotel blocks, and suggestions for placed to bring the brides dress to be steamed, and more. We communicated with you in 228 emails, Alison was copied in on 171 of those emails and Nick was involved with 16 emails. I am not sure why you say that communication was inconsistent and confusing. Every one of your 228 emails were answered along with numerous phone calls. Nowhere in the planning contract does it mention rehearsals. We have never attended rehearsals. The venue or church conducts these. The planner that was sent to be with your daughter on the wedding day is not inexperienced. She has been working with me for five years and I have never had a bad comment about her. Your son in law, Nick, remarked that the planners were “awesome”. We never saw a picture of the cake and would have had no way to determine that the bakery sent the wrong wedding cake. My planner, Rachel, was busy during the night trying to locate the venue’s planner, who was supposed to be in charge of the night. I am truly sorry that you were disappointed with our services and if you felt this way all along, I am disappointed that you didn’t share that with me. We did our very best to accommodate numerous changes up until even the day before the wedding.

The team of planners under Sue were awesome, however Sue’s personal involvement and professionalism were a complete joke and an overall bad experience. She had no idea what was going on for months before the wedding and my wife and I essentially did all the planning ourselves; she gave terrible advice and rude answers to us over email (ex: when we said we would rather have the photographer show up later in the day and stay later into the night, she said “we are NOT paying for drunk photos”) ; She consistently had completely incorrect responses to things we had spoken about previously. And 3 days before our wedding our wedding sent the final itinerary that literally had 0 things timed correctly (ex: in the itinerary she sent our ceremony was scheduled for the wrong time, scheduled for 5 minutes and length, and then following the ceremony family pictures and our bride/groom provosts moment were scheduled at the same time). To make matters worse, the whole wedding planning team uses the same email account - so you never know who you are talking too and constantly hope it’s someone other than Sue responding.
Props to the others within this wedding planning group for stepping in and helping us out, but do yourself a favor and just avoid Sue altogether.

We had such an amazing experience! Sue is such a down to earth, efficient, and charming personality. She helped us to create an absolutely stunning wedding atmosphere, that captured every detail that we asked for. My husband and I are located in California, but we wanted to have a destination wedding in New Orleans, which is one of our favorite cities. I looked to The Knot to find a wedding planner, and Sue Rudiger from New Orleans Wedding Planners was one of the few who got back to me promptly. When my husband and I talked to her on the phone, we knew right away we wanted to work with her.
Sue is bubbly, personable, hilarious, and highly professional. She's been in the business for 20+ years, so I really entrusted her with providing me advice and guidance especially since I'm not from New Orleans. I appreciated her "no-BS" and direct style of communication. Sue told me when things were unnecessary, which helped me stay accountable and on track of my budget. Most correspondences were done via email so that we kept a paper trail. This lady basically never sleeps, because she'll be answering my emails up to 11pm CST. I felt that I got so much more value from what I paid for, which was very affordable compared to other wedding planners, because she just went above and beyond. Sue honestly made the entire wedding planning process easy for me and helped take out the guess work. I didn't have to do extensive research on different vendors; after all, there was no need to because she has a list of reputable vendors that she's been working with through the years. I kept telling everyone that if wedding planning was this easy, I would plan my wedding every year! By the way, she owns a flower shop, so she did our beautiful flowers and decorations too.
Sue's staff members are amazing as well. When my husband and I were in town months for our trials before the wedding, one of her assistants (I think her name is Karina) took us to check out our venue. She was the sweetest, and she joined us for our food tasting. We also had the pleasure of working with Nicole on the actual day of our wedding, who worked behind the scenes to make the day flow.
If I could give anyone advice on what to do to plan for your New Orleans wedding, I would say: hire a wedding planner and make sure it's New Orleans Wedding Planners, LLC (Sue Rudiger). My wedding day was the best day of my life. Everything about it was perfect, and I have New Orleans Wedding Planners to thank for that. Sue and her team brought our vision to life, and I'm still getting compliments from family and friends that it was the best wedding they've ever been to.

We live in Denver, but wanted to plan a surprise wedding in New Orleans, and Sue and her team were extremely kind and inviting from the moment we had our first meeting together online. Sue’s work and knowledge is exceptional as she walked us through the wedding day, prepared us on what was needed from our vendors, and made sure that we were in good hands. On our wedding day, Sue and her team took care of us, all while handling the coordination of the vendors on a hectic on-and-off rainy day. Sue remained calm and professional to ensure our day will be perfect, and it was. We highly recommend Sue and her team!

As the mother of the bride, I don’t know how we could have planned a destination wedding without New Orleans Wedding Planning LLC. Sue was so knowledgeable and helpful through the entire process. She assisted with all vendor recommendations, as well as, the venue, flowers and food suggestions.
But most importantly was the day of the wedding, we didn’t have to think about anything but having a great time. Sue and her team handled everything.
The wedding went exactly as planned and a good time was had by all.
I highly recommend Sue and her team to anyone planning a wedding in New Orleans.

I just got married and Sue and her team were incredible to work with! Sue knows New Orleans weddings better than anyone and always has the bride, groom, and their families best interests. She made planning a destination wedding a breeze and was always accessible via text, email, and phone call whenever we needed her. She had great recommendations for vendors, scheduling, and all the details that go in to planning a wedding. On the day of the wedding Sue, Jess, Paige were there for me for whatever I needed and truly made me feel like a princess. I am so glad I found Sue to help me plan my destination wedding in NOLA on 12-16-23. I tried to do it all on my own but quickly learned that was not possible. She is well connected in the area and was able to move things along much quicker than I could. She is extremely responsive! For example, I texted her at 3am the morning I was getting married and she responded! Some might be offended by her straight to the point approach but I appreciated it! I don't need a flowery and wordy email. Also keep in mind they are usually on the go or at another event. Sue, was on top of it every step of the way. Although, I was not expecting a response I was surprised and just felt taken care of. The day of the wedding she helped me feel so at ease. We forgot our marriage certificate and 30 minutes before the wedding our day of coordinator ran back to the hotel and retrieved it in time. Whew! She helped us find the perfect venues for our small wedding and all of our guests raved about what an awesome experience it was. I couldn’t be happier to hear my guests say how beautiful and fun everything was. The only feedback I would give is maybe getting a more secure email and way to collect payments. It was a bit uneasy for me at first to trust someone who lives in another state. However, I am happy to say I never had an issue and found Sue and her team to be %100 trustworthy. By the time it was all said and done, it was truly the happiest day of my life.

My daughter got married at the Westin Hotel on 4/22/23. Sue and her crew at Beth's Florist did an amazing job! The ballroom was decorated beautifully. The flowers were gorgeous! When I walked in the ballroom Saturday night, I was beyond pleased. The arrangements were the perfect colors to accent the dresses and the gold accent stands and candle holders accentuated the entire room. The flowers on the altar at the church were just the touch that was needed. The bridal flowers were sooo pretty! I loved the mothers' nosegays!

As the MOB I thought I could plan my daughter's wedding without assistance. My only regret is that I did not find Sue Rutiger sooner. It would have been a much happier and less stressful experience for me. From the day we met, I knew Sue was the wedding planner for me. She was personable and professional. She sat and listened as I spoke about my ideas for the wedding and reception I envisioned for my daughter. After a few minutes, Sue could finish my sentences. She knew everything about every thing! She brought things to my attention that I had not even considered. Sue provided the care and attention to detail that I wanted. She collaborated with each vendor by providing a time-line and contact information for all those involved to ensure efficiency and punctuality. Her efforts to carryout my vision was recognized in the organization, details and design from guest-flow, placement, space, and seating. She worked with our families to ensure that all questions/concerns were resolved throughout the process. Sue's follow-up and response to texts. phone calls, voicemails, emails are prompt. Sue is a dedicated visionary who loves what she does best. I have never worked with a better team of professionals. Her "Dream Team" made my daughters wedding magical.

As a couple living in Los Angeles, planning a destination wedding in NoLa was a very very tall task. That was before we found Sue! After one visit to NoLa to view the venue and hotel, we sat down with Sue, went over all of the details and headed back to Los Angeles with Sue handling everything for us. We kept in touch with many phone calls and emails, always being reissued by Sue that she had everything under control. Our wedding was PERFECT! My wife, our families and friends, everyone had a blast. From the meet and greet, to the reception, and of course the 2nd Line. Everything went smooth, no issues came up, the venue was beautiful and everything was organized. Thank you Sue for all you did for mine and Lindsey’s special day!!!

My daughters wedding was as near perfect as you can get. Sue and her team handled all of the last month coordination with perfection. As for the floral, it was exactly what my daughter wished for.
It was very satisfying to my husband and I to step back and watch our daughter and son-in-law, family and friends enjoy a wonderful evening.

Don't do it, save yourself the money, time and sanity. We had good experience with the rest of the crew, but with the owner Sue who was always involved, she was unprofessional, SO disorganized, chaotic, took no responsibility and completely dodged some of our major questions (like confirming our second line band). A little under a month before our Wedding we fired her and told her not to come. We signed on to work with them a year before our Wedding and had an initial phone call with Sue where she walked us through what to expect while working with them, it was also all in the contract as their "Partial Planning" package. We signed on to work with them 10 + months before the event and then never received follow up on any of the items on the "Partial Planning" package again. Like not once.
Some major grievances...
We did not receive a timeline, no support with decisions, no help with a budget and design details. We did receive a screenshotted pinterest timeline when we were 3 months out from our Wedding... which was no help at that time and was not specific to what we were trying to incorporate.
It was obvious that anytime we talked with her she never looked back at what was previously discussed through e-mail and phone calls and we constantly had to remind her of the bigger details for our event, (for example that we were not having a ceremony, did not have any religious/family traditions to incorporate, the fact that we lived in a different state).
We found out the day of our Wedding that the brass band that led our second line (who was incredible and we loved them), was not the band we had confirmed. Tragically the leader of the original band that we had booked had passed away and we completely lucked out with the Red Wolf Brass Band (book them, they rock!). To this we never received an e-mail letting us know, after we sent multiple e-mails before our Wedding trying to confirm the name of the brass band, it felt like our questions were dodged and just never answered us.
In our scheduled phone meeting a little less than a month before our Wedding, she called right on time...I pick up...she says "i'm in the car" and gave some long sob story of how they lost internet in their office and on her cell and she hasn't been able to send any e-mails for a couple of days (she responded to my e-mails just fine the morning of and day before). She called on her cell and I had received multiple "from phone" e-mails, not sure why she was lying. As long as we can nail down details, I don't care. Again, the song and dance of reminding her what our details are (i.e. no ceremony, no traditions, we're out of state), so she still didn't have our "binder" with our details in front of her, seems important for this planning call. Then I hear that the call is on bluetooth, she's actively driving, so nothing is being written down from this SCHEDULED meeting that she obviously just forgot about and for whatever reason didn't just ask to reschedule. I point out that I can hear her driving, she says "I told you, i'm in the car". I respond that obviously means nothing is being written down, she says no. It was infuriating that this was yet again a waste of my time. We reached out later that night firing her.

Since we are longer local in LA, planning a wedding from NC proved to be hard and stressful after only a week of trying to do it alone. We did some research and found Sue with New Orleans Wedding Planning, and that was the best decision we made! Sue is super responsive and always stays in contact. I could call her any time I had a question, idea, or just needed to confirm something. She has deep roots in Nola and has so many great contacts. Her recommendations were the best of the best (our guests are still RAVING about our reception band, our cakes and the food!) Sue and her team went above and beyond in several ways to make sure things flowed smoothly and we could just enjoy the weekend. Sue was there for our rehearsal and day-of, and several of our guests commented about how awesome she was and how she made sure they knew exactly where to go for the next part of the celebrations. An additional member of her team (Paige) was with us the entire wedding day, and she was amazing!! She made sure all of our personal items were neatly back in our hotel room at the end of the night, along with food and cake for us to enjoy.
We really could breathe easy and enjoy ourselves thanks to Sue and the New Orleans Wedding Planning team.
An additional bonus is that Sue’s family also owns Beth’s Florist, and they do BEAUTIFUL flowers. So it’s just one more detail that Sue has covered. So convenient and so well done. We are so grateful to Sue and her team!
In addition to being great at what they do, Sue and her team are just nice and fun people. We honestly are going to miss getting to talk with them!

Working with Sue and her team was an absolute pleasure from the moment that we hired them. We started planning our wedding about 12-months before and locked down the venue and date and then started looking for day-of coordinators. Then we met Sue and we never looked back. Sue served as a partial wedding planner, day-of coordinator, and florist (through Beth’s Flowers) for us, and every aspect was tremendously easier because of it. Her team was always available to talk, helped find us any vendor we needed from DJ to Second Line Band to a tent company in-case it rained. We got married at The Chicory in New Orleans and Sue coordinated with their staff to make sure all vendors knew what the plan was and would be punctual. They also worked together to make sure the event went smoothly, and it went off without a hitch.
What separates Sue from the rest is that she is ALWAYS honest with you. She has such wisdom and experience in the industry that she helped make sure we picked reliable vendors and always had a back-up if something fell through. We also loved that she was a one-stop-shop for us so she helped us shape our creative vision for the event and then her team executed it day of from when makeup started at the hotel until the second line band finished afterwards. We highly suggest New Orleans Wedding Planning LLC & Beth’s Florist!

I started planning my wedding November 2019 for an October 2020 wedding. I found Sue that month and she wasted no time finding me the perfect New Orleans venue. Picture exposed brick, high ceilings with a rustic skylight that gave a vintage backdrop. The venue included everything we needed (tables, chairs, catering, etc.) This made things so much easier since it took care of so many things on our task list. She understood the aesthetic I was going for and went out of her way to make sure I got everything I wanted and for a decent price. Things were going smoothly and perfect….. but then the pandemic hit. The summer of 2020 we decided it was safer for our guest if we postponed the wedding. We were hopeful that by January of 2021 we would be able to have the wedding of our dreams. As the new date approached it was obvious that we would not be the case. So….we asked Sue to talk to all of our vendors a second time to push our wedding back to the summer of 2021. She facilitated those changes perfectly. We were not charged extra and did not lose any of our deposits with the two postponements. Sue even took care of all of the planning and paper work for our second line (brass band & parade). Bonus was that is a florist and provided all of the flowers and decorations. Choosing her as a wedding planner was kind of a one stop shop that made things less stressful. June 4, 2021 we were able to safely celebrate our wedding with our friends and family. To this day our guest still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding. It was everything we could dream of.

We got married in New Orleans on 01/01/2022. Originally we were living in the city during the majority of the planning process, however due to a series of unfortunate events (Hurricane Ida) we ended up moving to Houston unexpectedly. We went from doing a local wedding to a destination wedding. Although the last 6 months before the wedding was extremely stressful due to unforeseen circumstances, Sue and everyone helped guide us through the last-minute decisions. The day of was perfect. Our family and friends still rave about it and have said it was the best wedding they've ever attended.

We got married in NOLA in June of 2022. We are from VA but decided to get married in NO because that is where we met. Knowing we couldn't be there to plan the wedding of our dreams, we decided to get a planner. I went to a wedding in 2020 where Sue was the planner and it was an amazing (got a great review from the bride).
When we first spoke to Sue, we told her what we wanted, our budget, etc., and she got to work. Sue and her team literally did everything for us. When we were totally stumped on the venue, she mentioned one that she uses frequently and we booked it sight unseen. It was the best decision and such a pretty venue.
Before the wedding, we worked with Gina, who was great!! The whole team responded to emails quickly and were always available to take my calls when I had questions. I had Paige on the day of and Sue was there day of, as well as at the rehearsal. Our vendors were AMAZING, all suggested by Sue and her team. Looking back on our day, I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Their tag line, You Bring the Dress We Do the Rest, is 100% true. Thank you, Sue, Gina, and Paige!!!! Also, her pricing is amazing!

Sue and Gina are very responsive, if I ever had a question or needed to double check a detail, I received a response almost immediately (which being a very type A person this was incredibly helpful)! Sue will walk you through everything from start to finish. She even coordinated viewing venues, choose a date, and the entire process of hiring vendors and communicating to them their responsibilities the day of. She was patient with me but also kept me on schedule. She has great connections within the New Orleans wedding community and really helped us stay within budget, but not having to sacrifice things we felt were important to us. There are not enough praise I could give to Sue and the team for making it the most fun and best wedding day for me, my husband, and our families!

Working with New Orleans Wedding Planners was stressful. If there was one word I would use to describe this business, it would be "disorganized," with "chaotic" as a close second choice. I was under the impression hiring a coordinator would take some load off my shoulders, but, unfortunately, I found it to be quite the opposite. I often had to re-correspond with my various vendors after Sue would relay either incorrect or outdated information, without including me in the communication, which was extremely stressful, especially since I was planning my wedding from across the country. I did not feel that my desires were respected with regards to how my wedding was executed or that the time was taken to understand what those desires were. On the day of my wedding, I felt Sue did not behave professionally. The most prominent example of this is when my bridesmaids and I were heading to the hotel lobby for pre-ceremony photos, we realized my now-husband was there early. Sue "handled it" by shouting at him, shoving him into a room by himself for 30 minutes, and not allowing any of his groomsmen or family to join him. This was extremely upsetting for him, and he had no recourse. Furthermore, several items from the wedding or family keepsakes were misplaced or sent to the wrong rooms in the hotel after the wedding was over, which was just another headache for me to clean up later. While I am sure there were fires that were put out without me being the wiser, my overall experience with NOLA wedding planners was unpleasant, unprofessional, and I would never desire to cross paths with them again. However, my bridal attendant, whose name I sadly cannot recall, was a delight. She works at St. Patrick's in New Orleans as their church wedding coordinator and I would highly recommend her because, despite the behavior of the other coordinators, she was kind, calm, collected, and, most importantly, seemed to be legitimately concerned about me and how I was experiencing the day.

Hiring New Orleans Wedding Planning was the smartest decision I made while planning my wedding. I went to Beth's Flowers for my flowers and came out with a Month of Wedding planner too. I planned most of the wedding myself but needed help with the small details and logistics. New Orleans Wedding Planning set up a room block with a great rate at a hotel just one block from the venue. Sue and Gina helped set a schedule for the day of the wedding and shared this information with all of our other vendors. When it came to the day of, I felt so relaxed knowing all of the extras for the ceremony and reception would be set out and ready to go. Everyone in the wedding was able to enjoy the wedding instead of worrying about the little details. After the reception, everything that we had brought was picked up and taken to the New Orleans Wedding Planning office. We were able to go pick our stuff up the next week and able to go enjoy the rest of the night instead. Because I got the Month of Planning services, I was able to enjoy my wedding and not worry about the little details. I was not stressed about anything. I had someone making sure things happened at the right time and making sure things were set out and picked up. I knew if an issue came up, Gina was on it that night. Gina saved me with a box of safety pins of varying sizes. I 100% recommend, even to the most DIY bride, to hire New Orleans Wedding Planning to make sure you can enjoy the wedding day you've worked so hard for.

Sue, Gina, Nicole, Kathleen and her team from New Orleans Wedding Planners is one of the most well oiled machines that I’ve ever worked with. We shopped around for multiple wedding planners to help us with our destination wedding and they were the obvious and clear choice - they're direct and they get the job done.
Sue and her team were more than accommodating when we had to move our wedding, coordinating with dozens of vendors without complaint, and throughout our wedding weekend, executing everything seamlessly so we didn't have a single worry.
A lot of people told me leading up to my wedding that the whole day would be one big blur. Sue and her team had everything planned and handled so perfectly that I was able to feel and experience every moment of the day. Looking back it feels like a dream, not a blur. I'm saddened that our working relationship is over, it was truly a pleasure working with all of them and will miss exchanging with them on a regular basis.
I highly recommend this group of outstanding people and professionals for any upcoming special event or occasion.

Sue and Gina handled many setbacks/last minutes changes and issues with so much ease - we had no idea of behind the scene challenges that happened because they took care of everything! They even pinned my dad's pants that did not fit him at all :D (so hilarious, definitely went beyond their duties there). They also last-minute found us 2 pedi cabs for our family members who wanted to partake in the second line after the ceremony. We totally missed this piece and they made it happen with less than 24 hours!! They were great!

We got married last week after a year-long delay thanks to Covid. Sue and her team were great at getting everything rescheduled and resent. We opted to do the Amazing Race instead of a traditional rehearsal and it was exactly that - AMAZING! If you have the opportunity, you must do it, especially for a destination wedding or with out of town guests. It was a great way for our guests to mingle before, and it was just so well done and FUN! Then the day of the wedding, Sue's team was great... they had everything figured out (I had no idea what to expect) - they made sure we always had a drink in our hands, stayed hydrated, and everything went smoothly until the send off at the end. I don't think I could have done any of it without them. On top of that, every vendor recommended was fabulous, including the DJ and the cake. We really had the time of our lives, and ALL of our guests kept telling us how it was the funnest wedding weekend they had ever been a part of! You should really hire Sue and her team, ESPECIALLY if you're like me and have no idea where to begin on planning a wedding!

My daughter's wedding was in New Orleans and we live in Mobile, Alabama and she lives in another part of Alabama. Needless to say, planning her wedding was more difficult because of the distance. Beth's Flowers was wonderful. Not only were we able to do the initial consultation on a Saturday, but they were able to do everything my daughter wanted. I love that they insist that the bride come to see the flowers the afternoon before the wedding. Since my daughter wasn't actually there for the consultation, this was particularly important. When we went to Beth's on the afternoon before the wedding, they were so nice and welcoming. They showed us all our flowers and we were very pleased. Everything the day of the wedding was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. The cake was late being delivered and Beth's staff came back out to put the flowers on the cake without being called. I highly recommend Beth's Flowers.

We loved working with Beth's Flowers! We were pretty clueless about wedding décor and how to execute the look we were going for. We met with Sue and she really stood out because she got to know us and was very patient with us. She also helped us stay on budget by giving us different options and adjusting things as we got further into planning. She was so easy to work with and quick to answer emails. She also knows her stuff and is super creative, she was a great person to bounce ideas off of throughout wedding planning. When we saw our venue decorated on the day of our wedding we were blown away, they knocked it out of the park! It was stunning but also very "us". Everyone that works for them is friendly and helpful! It was also really nice that we got to see our flowers the day before the wedding. Everything was so beautiful you could tell that she had been doing this for years and knows how to transform a venue. Thank you Sue for the beautiful wedding!!

I had been to New Orleans a number of times, but knew I wasn't going to be able to plan/travel down so a planner was essential. Sue and her team stepped up from day 1 taking us on a whirlwind 48 hour tour of venues and tastings, a hair and make up trial, and reviewing invitations. We planned our entire wedding with only one trip down to Nola from NY. On top of that, Sue's team was incredibly accommodating when we ended up adding a rehearsal lunch AND meet and greet.
She recommended a venue that fit exactly the vibe I described, and had a vision of how everything was going to work. The flowers and decor were beautiful. All of our guests have told us what a wonderful wedding it was. Sue gets the job done!

My husband and I got married Nov 2,2019. It was the most perfect day. It exceeded all expectations thanks to Sue and Nicole! They had every little detail figured out and we did not have to worry about a thing when the day finally arrived. Not only did they make it stress free, but they made it so much fun. Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect to say the least. We relive our wedding day daily in our heads and wish we could do it all over again!

For a little backstory, we are from west Texas and had never even been to NOLA before but knew we wanted to get married there. I found Beth's on theknot.com and when I called for a quote Sue and I got to talking and she read my mind through the phone! Our wedding and reception was on The Creole Queen Paddlewheeler, and we had a second line parade. Needless to say, there were many moving parts due to the boat actually cruising during the reception and the ceremony being performed by the Capitan immediately prior. Sue, recognizing what would be involved paired with our destination wedding plans, offered her planning services and I said “Yes Ma’am, PLEASE!” She asked all the right questions and even helped us figure out where to get our actual marriage license. She was so familiar with the venue, had contacts and recommendations for music, photography, and hotels. She was great down to every detail. She even helped us arrange transportation to the venue and pedi-cabs for our guess who had mobility challenges so they could be a part of our second line. (I am SO HAPPY that we did that because it was our guest's favorite part!!) The flower arrangements we perfect! She took the inspiration from The Creole Queen Paddlewheeler and married it perfectly to my style! There was no stone left unturned. She is more than a florist, she made my wedding perfect!! Also, my mother-in-law asked my husband and I if we wanted a formal rehearsal dinner and that’s not really our style. So when she suggested a cocktail party for all the guest who were making the trip, we said PERFECT! When she booked Pat O’s on the River that is in the ole JAX Brewery, we asked Sue if she and her team could help us decorate it. Of course she said, “No problem, Baby. What do you have in mind?” I told her that I wanted the party to say “Welcome to New Orleans, thank y’all for comin!!” So she took that and ran with it! It was beyond perfect!! The table tops were beautiful, with all things NOLA!! From Mardi Gras masks to all sorts of beads, to red beans and rice and beignet mix, to beautiful flower arrangements with crawfish ornaments adorning them. She let us know that the guest were encouraged to take the decor home with them and everyone loved it!! Especially the beignet mix!! So fun, so beautiful, and so perfect! Overall, our wedding would would have been chaotic and stressful with out Sue and her team at Beth's Flowers. If I could rate her 10 stars I would! Use her for your flowers and wedding planning needs!!

I call these ladies that do the wedding planning here Tag Team Queens!!! They are awesome, dedicated, and excellent at what they do. I’m an out of state bride from New Jersey so immediately I knew I’d need help planning my wedding. After calling and researching several different planners in the New Orleans area I chose New Orleans Wedding Planning. Their prices were reasonable and included so much. I reached out and spoke with Sue and Tara. These ladies were thorough in explaining what they offered, sending me photos of their flower arrangements, and answering all of my quirky questions. They were patient with me and excited and anxious to bring my ideas to life! I never felt hesitant to call or email Sue. She’d answer me right away every single time. Sue is so dedicated. She was scheduled to have surgery a couple of day’s before I arrived to get our marriage license. She set up a phone meeting and went over almost every detail of our wedding. She then advised me Tara would be available to me and she would pass on all that we’d discussed to her. Now that’s dedication! The day of our wedding Paige showed up. All I can say is wow! She made sure pre-wedding photos were taken on time, she cleaned our suite and made sure housekeeping was called to take plates away, she buckled my shoes, and practicality made sure everyone was doing exactly what they were supposed to do. Now comes Tara. Tara is just awesome! She made sure the wedding started ON TIME! Tara kept me hydrated all night. There was always a drink or water in my hand. She made sure we ate dinner. She also made sure everything flowed smoothly and timely. There is so much more I can write about this POWERHOUSE of a team!!! I felt pampered and stress free my entire wedding(seriously)! Not many brides can say that. I’m glad I made the decision to use New Orleans Wedding Planning!!! This was one of the best decisions I made. Do Not Hesitate to use this company. From the moment I met Sue, I was impressed with her organization and knowledge of the industry. She understood my personality and ensured things fit, reinforcing our ideas instead of what other vendors tried to push back on us. We live out of state, which made having boots on the ground in NOLA that we could trust much more important.
There were A LOT of curve balls thrown in the 48 hours before the wedding. Their empathy, quick thinking, and professionalism when things outside of their control went awry were invaluable. They literally saved the day. There are plenty of things I would have done differently, but hiring Sue was absolutely the smartest decision I made. I could not imagine having anyone else. You are doing yourself a huge favor hiring Sue.

Can not say enough about these planners. Sue is absolutely amazing... soon after booking our venue we became overwhelmed and sought out her help. Right away she was willing to jump in and share her knowledge. Sue even suggested we use them for 30 days out and day of coordinator since we already had many vendors booked (wasn’t looking to make a dime off of us, she was truly genuine). She was there to answer ever question and even calmed my nerves more than once. Every recommendation she gave was right on point. Her staff truly stepped in and saved the day when we had to have last minute alterations and they hand delivered day of the wedding. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Sue, Sterling, Tara, and Jen. They made our wedding day what it was, just an absolute dream. These planners come highly recommended for their professionalism and ability to get the job done! 1000% would do it all again with New Orleans Wedding Planners by my side!

Mrs. Sue was my hero during my wedding. I called her on the monday before and asked her if she had seen the radar. She instantly told me not to freak out and everything was going to be okay. Well that storm turned into hurricane barry, but Mrs. Sue never missed a beat. She kept me calm the whole weekend. She arranged ever adjustment and communicated with every vendor to ensure my day was still going to happen. Her assistant Nicole also did an amazing job and went above and beyond. I am so happy that I found Mrs. Sue and Nicole to take care of me on my special day. I truly believe if I had anyone else that the planner would have told me to cancel and move the wedding, which was just not an option. Thank you so much Mrs Sue for taking care of me and my family as if we were your own family!!
