Chris was absolutely fantastic! I can not express this enough! I will always remember when in mist of the search for the perfect catering company, Chris was the only one who took the time to get to know us and actually put a package together that reflected our backgrounds and our likes/wants while keeping in mind our budget. We sometimes felt like Chris was our wedding planner, every time we didn't know what we should pick or what to do, Chris always had a suggestion and/or examples of why it could/could not work. We trusted him completely and glad we did! At the wedding, I couldn't believe how amazing everything looked and we still get amazing reviews on the food, how elegant and delicious everything was, etc.. The staff was amazing, I think perhaps one server was put on "Bride duty" because I always had a drink in my hand, I would take two sips then misplace it and then I would automatically have another one in front of me. Chris and Nova Catering were just amazing and you'd be smart to hire them. Chris will be there for you and will not let you fail.

Chris and the team at Nova catering were absolutely superb! On the day of our wedding (and even this day) all of our guests were raving about how amazing the food was. The canapés, main meal, dessert, mini pastries and even the midnight snack was perfect! We knew from the day we met Chris that we found a hidden gem! Chris was very attentive and did not hesitate to create a special tasting event for us when we visited his private diving room in Long Island City. He also paired the wine perfectly with every course and of course that was the icing on the cake! He also had no hidden fees, which was a relief after speaking to many caterers who would add lots of unnecessary "extra" fees. Words simply cannot explain how happy were are to have found Nova Catering. I can't recommend him enough!

You will be so glad you picked Nova Catering for your wedding, I guarantee it. Chris is such a pleasure to work with and everything came out better than I ever expected. Everyone (and I mean every single person who attended my wedding) L O V E D the food, it was ridiculously amazing! Their staff were all really nice and professional and although catering is expensive in general, Nova was the most inexpensive of all the companies I researched.

We wanted a fun and fancy wedding in Manhattan. I am Polish and my husband is Argentinian, both living in the city. We were mixing three different cultures and it wasn’t an easy task. For Argentinians wine, champagne and the quality of alcohol is important, so our sommelier friend came up with an outstanding selection. Now we needed the most important partner, the food. And that is where Chris from Nova Catering totally surpassed our expectations… For the quality of the wedding that we were aiming for, we were going to go with what we considered the safest bet, and select from the highest rated caterer from this site. The initial quotes were outrages, and not because we could not afford them, but because the variety, quality, and quantity of food did not justify the cost. I believe these vendors come up with unjustifiable margins. We could not be happier of having found Chris. If we would have followed the numbers of reviews from this page, we would have never selected him, but we took a leap of faith and decided to go to his free tasting…Wow, it was amazing! Not only the food, but the way he served it, the presentation, his awesome staff members, everything… Our guests were amazed. They felt as if they were dining at a Michellin star restaurant! The pricing, significantly cheaper from top rated “fancy” caterers, including beautiful rentals, and set up. The food, what can I say, burrata from Italy, caviar, oysters, foie gras, tuna tartare, filet mignon, wild caught salmon… All picked from a huge variety of options. Honestly, we had a hard time deciding, as we liked everything on his menu. And finally, Chris. Chris is laid back, not pushy at all, an artist. He is so good and confident at what he does, that…. Ladies stress about your wedding dress, your makeup artist, your hair, but don’t stress about your food and set up, Chris and his staff from Nova Catering will take care of all that, and trust me, they will exceed your expectations.

Nova Catering was hands down the best part of my wedding. They made sure every detail was handled and I was stress free. They handle everything from food to bar, rentals, linens, lighting, etc. One-stop-exquisite shop.

We recently selected Nova for our wedding and could not have asked for a better partner to feed our guests. They were the only ones we spoke to that actually were interested in us as a couple- what we liked eating and cooking, where we liked going for dinner etc. Then they suggested a menu that was perfect for us. We must note our favorite bit- that they created hor's dueves to reflect our backgrounds [ie. Mini British Fish and Chips] which were delicious and popular with all the guests. On the day the service was excellently managed.
