My husband and I had out reception at the Omni William Penn Hotel in December of 2023. We had out guests stay at this hotel as well. To say we had excellent service and experience would be an understatement. Margareta and Michelle were amazing and such wonderful people to work with on this important day. Margareta was stellar and she gave us top care fort he hotel stay. Ive never stayed in such a beautiful room before. We were given such great care and our guests had only wonderful things to say as well. Michelle did such a wonderful job organizing the reception room (Terrace Room) and we were so grateful for her during this experience. The reception room looked exactly how I envisioned. The food was amazing and the service was also excellent. They have many packages you can choose from when it comes to having an event and I was so happy with the one we chose. If you are looking for a beautiful historic hotel that is all inclusive for a reception or wedding venue, this is the best of the best. I cannot recommend the staff or this location more! Thank you so much Michelle and Margareta and all of the other staff for our dream wedding come true!

We absolutely loved working with the Omni! Guests raved about the service at the front desk and the waitstaff at the reception. The Omni took great care to make the bride and groom feel special with gifts and notes, and we'd recommend anyone book their cocktail hour in the Urban Room, reception in the Grand Ballroom, and after party in the Urban Room.

Overall, the Omni was an excellent choice for our wedding. The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars and not 5, is due to the amount of confusion we had during the reception. The Omni received a new events coordinator and a lot of the little details were left out that was part of the Omni Experience. I only know of these specifics due to working with the previous coordinator and was expecting them- however, no guest would ever know the difference. They misplaced the Groom's Cake so the effect of my husband being surprised was missed and placed a slight hold on dinner service while trying to find it. Eventually it was found but it hurt the flow of the evening. Do NOT pay for the additional service to have Welcome Bags delivered to guests in their rooms. This was the biggest scam because our guests either never received a bag or received the other wedding's bag. At the end of the weekend, they refused to give us the rest of the bags that were behind the counter and never delivered. They claimed that they were going to give them the bags at check out due to never being able to reach them in person... not sure what use a welcome bag will do for the guests as they are checking out... Other than the mishaps that occurred during our wedding, the food was amazing and our room was gorgeous. Always push for in person meetings when planning because you get way more say over your day than through email or over the phone.

The Omni William Penn was a perfect place to host the wedding, and they made it incredibly easy. We had our reception in the Terrace Room and all the details we could have wanted. With many guests coming in from out of town, the ease of having everything in one location was a dream. The food was amazing and all of the staff were wonderful. We worked with Corey who was always calm and had excellent attention to detail. Margareta helped organize the room block, and she could not have been friendlier and more competent. Everyone was wonderful from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The Omni William Penn Hotel hosted my daughter's wedding on 11/5/2022. The Urban room is beautiful and the perfect setting for a wedding. That being said.....We were served the wrong chicken and quality of service did not match the price. I would not suggest booking with the William Penn without a private event planner, we used Tiffany & Design (which I would give 5 stars).

We booked the Omni William Penn for our February 2022 wedding reception. While everything was smooth for the most part in the booking process (and rebooking due to covid), we had a very difficult time reaching our coordinator in the months leading up to our wedding which is really the only reason I did not give this review 5 stars. In my opinion, if you are going to be on the wedding coordination team, weddings should be something that you're enthusiastic about and even if you're not, you shouldn't let your couples see that leading up to and at their event. On the actual wedding weekend, from the second we pulled our cars up to the Omni, I can tell you the service was unmatched. The woman we worked with for the room block coordination was a dream come true, she helped me last minute book a getting ready room for my husband and move myself and my bridesmaids to a room where it would be easier for us all to get ready the morning of the wedding. The waiters and bar staff were top notch, and even the security team outside the event was fantastic.

The Omni William Penn is an absolutely stunning venue. From the lobby to the guest rooms to the event rooms it is incredibly elegant and beautiful. I really wanted a venue that could host all of my wedding day events and the OWP was able to do just that with a cocktail hour, ceremony, reception and after party all on the same floor. The staff was so accommodating and we felt so taken care of on the day. I'm so happy we choose the OWP and would highly recommend them.

The Omni is an absolutely gorgeous venue and gave us an amazing wedding day. Lora was great to work with and helped us make the day everything we wanted. She was very accommodating and put us first which was something we really appreciated. Through the meetings to go over rentals, to the seating chart, she was always an email away and got back to us very quickly. She definitely knows the industry well and was on top of every detail. The day before they made everything so easy to drop off all the decorations which took off a lot of stress of making sure to get everything got to where it needed to be. The food was great, and the servers were excellent. They did such a good job of getting everything set up and cleaned up. At the end of the night I blinked, and everything was done and had been cleaned up. No one had to lift a finger and that was awesome. The suite we got for the night was absolutely gorgeous. The Omni made our wedding beautiful and I loved every instance of it!

What a dream it was to have our wedding here! Such a little piece of Pittsburgh history - by far the most beautiful hotel in the city. We worked with Lora for our blended wedding. From beginning to end, it was first class service all the way, from the menu tasting to Lora’s vast knowledge of Indian wedding traditions, we always felt like we were in very experienced hands. We did everything at the Omni from the barat to the ceremony to the reception and after party, and every part of the day was just as beautiful and memorable as we hoped it would be. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but it was so worth it. They know how to put on a fantastic party! I think our guests will be talking about it for years to come!

We had a truly great experience planning and having our wedding at the Omni. We had the pleasure of working with Corey, who was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. Communication was clear and timely, and we were able to plan every detail with ease. Corey was able to help us coordinate our cookie table, late night snacks, and every aspect of the evening without a hitch. From the valets, to the wait staff and bartenders, everyone we encountered at the wedding was friendly, helpful, and provided great service. The food was delicious and served warm, and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the ballroom. Would highly recommend the Omni and Corey to any couple in search of a venue!

We are so happy we got to have our wedding at the William Penn. After sweating it out through COVID, Lora made sure everything came together perfectly. They were extremely flexible in helping us reschedule and Lora did a great job planning with me states apart while I was in Florida. For the day of everything went smoothly and they took care of everything making it completely hassle-free for us! And that is not even mentioning just the absolute beauty of the building, so many wonderful photos from the night.

Gorgeous and worth every penny! My husband and I got married in the Urban Room in May of 2021 just DAYS after the state's mask restrictions were lifted and when the majority of people were vaccinated. The year leading up to the wedding was riddled with uncertainty with the Omni being closed through April of 2021, however we were fortunate enough to have planned ahead with Lora Peluso. She met us in-person during the height of the pandemic while the Omni was closed without even knowing with certainty whether we would be able to have our reception there. She was in constant communication with us throughout the pandemic which gave us comfort throughout the planning process. After the Omni announced its opening, we were in contact with Corey Makrush who was instrumental in making our day perfect. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and we were lucky enough to have the bridal suite thanks to him and Lora. The only negative throughout the planning process was the additional charges (linens, lighting, chairs, etc.) we knew about in advance (note the Omni is extremely transparent about everything) but we just didn't know how vast they would be - so make sure to budget accordingly and ask questions up front! The food, the service (from the bartenders to the staff to the receptionist, EVERYONE), the room, and most importantly- the day was absolutely perfect thanks to the Omni. We wouldn't have had it any other way! Major thanks to Corey and Lora!

We got married in November in the Grand Ballroom with about 300 guests. After we had met Erin Rose (wedding coordinator) and saw the Omni we were sold. Erin is absolutely fantastic and worked with us to make our special day truly ours. She was professional, friendly and so genuine. She even offered to meet with my future in laws separately to show them around the hotel. She kept us updated (we booked 2 years out) leading up to the wedding and when we were down to the wire she was extremely patient and attentive. On the day of she was extremely patient with us and our venue looked incredible. The cookie table was perfect. We received so many compliments. I would recommend her to anyone and for any event. Other coordinators that were helpful: Rachel (room reservations) was so friendly and met with us to show us the rooms and the suites so that we could get a better idea of logistics the day of. She was also very attentive and helpful with our room block. Brian (coordinator) was very helpful on our wedding day and made sure that we were comfortable. You 100% get what you pay for with the Omni. The service is fantastic, the rooms are perfect, the location speaks for itself and the people are genuine.

We had our wedding there on August 10, 2019 in the Grand Ballroom. It was honestly a dream come true, a day that I will absolutely never forget. I still can't get over the fact that it was our wedding. It was INCREDIBLE. From the start Darlene, our wedding planner was amazing. She was easy to communicate with, and answered all of our questions. She was always pleasant to work with, she is such a kind and caring person. She has a lot of weddings each year, but we didn't feel like just another couple working with her. She helped make our day become a reality. We dropped everything off and they handled it, they plated cookies, decorated every table, coordinated with all of my vendors. They handled so many things that day that made my life so much easier. The servers at the reception were so professional and kind to our guests. We felt like royalty the whole weekend. One that stood out was Kenny, he was freaking awesome! The bartenders were amazing, everyone who helped make our day so special. THANK YOU. We felt taken care of in every respect. It couldn't have been done without you, and we are so grateful and lucky to have had our wedding here. It was the dreamiest day of our lives.

It's been 6 months since I had my wedding at the Omni William Penn hotel Urban Ballroom...but I wanted to be sure to leave a great review because we had a fantastic experience and i'm STILL getting compliments from our guests on what a nice wedding it was. The wedding coordinator I worked with, Lora, was very helpful especially considering I was planning my wedding from out of town. She was able to walk me through the process, accommodate me in-person on the few times I was actually in Pittsburgh prior to the wedding, and answered all of my last-minute questions via email. I also liked that I could drop off all of my decorations and loose materials such as cake knife/server at the venue a day or two prior to the wedding so that I didn't have to worry about it the day of! I was EXTREMELY impressed with the quality of the food. I got many compliments from our guests on how delicious it was. I don't know how the cooking staff managed to prepare around 150 amazing dinners for our wedding while simultaneously cooking dinners for the 1 or 2 other events happening in the hotel at the same time. Finally, the striking appearance of the Urban Ballroom made our night unforgettable. It is both beautiful and unique. Plus the beauty of the room meant that we didn't have to go overboard decorating it. If I could go back, I wouldn't hesitate to choose the Omni William Penn hotel again. My ONLY complaint came the night before the wedding. I was able to get a second night in the comped suite by foregoing the "honeymoon package" they offer. However, the suite is located on the 16th floor of the hotel....directly under the ballrooms on the 17th floor. The night before my wedding there was an event happening above me which meant loud bass coming through the walls/ceiling until 1 AM. Not easy to get a great nights sleep, I wish I had been warned to bring earplugs

Our cocktail hour and reception at the Omni was my dream come true. I wanted it to look like a fairytale and that's exactly what the end result was. My girls got ready at the hotel in the morning, and Michael, a member of the service staff, took such an incredible care of us. He made sure we had bagels, cream cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, and of course mimosas. He'd even help us out when we'd realize we forgot something like nail polish remover. Our cocktail hour was initially supposed to be in the Terrace Room. About a month before the wedding, the coordinator contacted us to let us know they had new furniture in the Terrace Room that was too heavy to move for our cocktail hour and wanted to know if we would be alright having cocktail hour in the main lobby. It turned out perfectly in the lobby and all of our guests loved it. The reception was in the ballroom, and was absolutely stunningly gorgeous. The balcony was lined with candles, the lighting was perfect. It was everything a bride that wants to be disney princess could ask for. Additionally, Michael, the server that took care of me and my bridesmaids all morning, was waiting on our head table. He was so kind, and took care of our best man, who had a stomach bug. He ended up helping him up to his room after his toast and getting him ginger ale and medicine. The only frustration that both my mom and I had with the omni was during the planning process. Obviously everything worked out and we had the results we wanted, but whenever we tried to email or call our wedding coordinator, Lora, she was not particularly responsive. Several times we had my dad contact her, and she would get back to him right away. We suspect that she was more responsive to him because he was the one paying the bill, which was frustrating given that we were the ones doing the bulk of the planning and needed the answers. Additionally, she got a little bit snippy with my mom when my mom tried to share details that we had planned. She acted like my mom was wasting her time and said that she already knew all of that.

What do you say about the Omni that isn't apparent from the moment you walk through the doors. It's incredible beauty, elegance, and attention to detail (the Staff and the hotel itself) are still as great as 101 years ago when the hotel opened. You can feel the history and millions of great memories that have been made because of this hotel. My wife and myself recently had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the Urban and Monongahela room. The Urban room gave us a wonderful venue to marry then celebrate in and the food was absolutely a knockout, and they were very accommodating. For instance they asked all of my allergy guests what they need to pay attention to, they directed my guest when and where to move seamlessly, and they even sent a meal to a room downstairs because a guest had a child that needed attention. Darlene was our coordinator, but also became friend through the process giving us advice and help where we needed it. I highly recommend this venue for anyone look for a wedding elegance, grace, and an awesome party!.

Wow, what an amazing experience. We just had our wedding there in the Grand Ballroom on Friday and everything was spectacular. The staff was great and made sure everything was perfect so we had no worries whatsoever. They treated my wife and I like kings and queens. Corey was our wedding planner and he was fantastic. Our guests had nothing negative to say about this place whatsoever. I highly recommend this venue to anyone. The only thing that wasn't that great was that gift bags were delivered to the rooms of the guests after they arrived instead of right when they got there (we had information in those bags for the rehearsal dinner/wedding). But the front desk then printed out what we were giving them and handed them out to the guests. Once again I highly recommend this venue. You will truly love it and not regret it.

We had our wedding reception in the Grand Ballroom of the Omni William Penn on June 2, 2017. Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. Lora is amazing at her job and ensures every detail of your big day will go smoothly. The guests were easily able to book rooms through the room block and Carly ensured we were updated on that frequently. We were absolutely blown away by the service that we received from all of the staff members who literally treated us like we were royalty. The food was incredible and we received so many comments about how much everyone enjoyed their dinners. Aside from the fact that this is the most gorgeous venue in the city, the staff takes the experience to another level. I cannot thank everyone at the Omni enough for making our big day so perfect!

A month ago, my husband and I had our dream wedding and hosted our reception in the Urban Ballroom. The entire venue is stunning and brings so much character and elegance to any event. And, my photos turned out spectacular! Overall, the price was a great value if you consider what goes into coordinating, feeding, and decorating a room from scratch. I minimized my own decor and let the beauty of the room speak for itself. The reception went perfectly and I am so grateful to the managers and team at the Omni. Lora’s experience made the process smooth and easy. The food during our cocktail hour still has people talking - we opted for 6 passed items, including the lamb chops and ceviche. We had two bars and upgraded the package, including hand picked Champagne. We ran through the costs and expectations many times before we signed with this venue, and now that we’re through the event, I can say that you get what you pay for. We are so happy we chose the Omni. Our wedding was unforgettable and so easy to plan and enjoy.

Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous, we couldn't have envisioned it differently, however, getting there was a challenge. Our coordinator quit four weeks before the wedding and her boss, Lora Peluso took over. Yes, we are fully aware people quit but the service we got for the last four weeks was absolutely horrible. We met with Lora AFTER everything we did with the prior was complete to only redo it, not even an apology for the inconvenience. THEN the responses were sporadic from there, which again, I understand this isn't Lora's job and she wants the position filled, but for the $$ you dish out I expect top notch. For our Rehearsal she was 20min late, when I went to find her I heard her saying what is her fiancé name again? Then she INTRODUCED HERSELF TO ME!!! I was like umm we met... she said sorry theres so many weddings I have had to pick up. I got married two weeks ago, and I still don't have a final linen bill, which was incorrect BTW and when I pointed it out she said "We questioned that too".... well what did you think I wouldn't notice?? The Steak was utterly amazing. The chicken wasn't stuffed with what we tried at the tasting and the Ravioli I am embarrassed that we served it to those who picked it for a food option, it was completely inedible. The hotel rooms were all double charged to two accounts and we still don't have it figured out yet. Again, if we didn't catch it they surely wouldn't care and would take the extra $$ no ?asked. Similar to other reviews, be aware of the costs and extras don't be afraid to ask questions or question the charge on something. We knew our minimum and stayed within it because we were already aware of some of the issues those prior had. I would still have the wedding there but would be less understanding when someone quits and someone picks up, I still deserve the same amount of service regardless who it is and how big of a hassle it is to them.

I got married on 10/03/15, and it was absolute perfection. Darlene was fantastic, and between her and the incredible staff, I feel like I didn't have to worry about a thing the moment my reception began. Looking for an art deco-themed wedding, the Urban Room was an obvious match and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I recently had my wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Omni and it was well worth it. From beginning to end they were easy to work with, responded quickly to questions and made my day perfect! The price included rental of all spaces (we used 3 rooms throughout the night) alcohol and food. Definitely made it easy to plan doing it this way. They set up and break down and leave nothing unturned when it came to making my day one to remember. Highly recommend them!

My matron of honor and bridesmaids planned a bridal shower tea at the Omni William Penn. It was one of the most beautiful events I have ever been to and couldn't have been more perfect for my shower. I have a gluten sensitivity and they made sure I had tea sandwiches and scones to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Omni William Penn.

It is every woman's dream to feel like Cinderella on her Wedding Day. She buys the beautiful white dress, picks out the colors (and almost ALWAYS changes them halfway through the engagement), selects the flowers, and worrys over every tiny detail that it the end only she will notice. And she places her dream in the hands of many vendors and explains her vision, hoping and praying that they will be able to make it a reality. I had my wedding and my reception at the Omni William Penn Hotel. And I can honestly say... they turned my dream into an absolute reality. I truly felt like Cinderella on my Wedding Day. My Wedding Coordinator at the Omni was Whitney Petersen. I cannot begin to describe how simple she made the planning process and how much of an interest she took in even the smallest details I had hoped would be made a reality. Even in my frazzled state on the Wedding Day she was a calming presence there to help the wedding party and myself with absolutely anything we needed. As far as the service went, it was, in a word, sublime. They designate 3 servers to our head table alone during the reception. They were so very accommedating and attended to our every need. My husband and I felt like royalty!!! :) Because we decided to have our wedding and our reception at the William Penn, we were given their finest Suite for our Wedding night. It was one of the most beautiful rooms I had ever been in! When we walked in at the end of the night exhausted after the reception and craving some quiet together time, we were welcomed with a chilled bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and a congratulatory note from the staff. Does it get any sweeter than that?? <3 We were blessed at all angles by this venue that made my most precious dream come to life. It was a day/night that I will never ever forget. - Emily Hoban

We had our ceremony and reception at the Omni William Penn this May and it was like a fairy tale come true. Every member of the Omni staff was attentive, professional and very accommodating! Corey Makrush the catering manager was amazing !! He was always available and made sure our day went off perfectly! Haley was very accommodating with the rooms for our guests. Corey and Haley went above and beyond for our day! The food was amazing! We had a rather large wedding of 300 guests and everyone was raving about the food! Generous portions, excellent flavor and a late night snack to die for ! The bar tenders were very personable, knowledgeable, and nobody had to wait for a drink! We had our ceremony in the round in the Urban Room and then they flipped the room to create our reception. Both were beautiful and elegant with no extra decorations from us other than the centerpieces. Whitney, the wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating, right up to the very last minute changes we continued to request. The rooms were all also great for the guests and especially for us, as we got to stay in the Royal Suite which was just fantastic. I don't think there is a more beautiful place in Pittsburgh to have your wedding.

We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom of the Omni William Penn with cocktail hour in the Urban room. To reserve both rooms we needed to meet at $45,000 food and beverage minimum and the costs only went up from there. Our wedding was beautiful and we absolutely felt very catered to but the cost was fairly high. There were a few small mistakes made (not enough cookie tables, gift bags delivered to the wrong rooms, tables being served late fro dinner) and we were disappointed that any mistakes occurred in light of the cost of the venue. In addition, there were numerous small charges that kept popping up- to deliver gift bags, for chairs, to have cookies at our wedding, to plate the cake (in addition to a cake cutting fee) that we felt were unnecessary in light of all of the other fees. There is also a mandatory 21% service charge. However, we felt our wedding was beautiful, the food was delicious and it was orchestrated well. I would not change our venue but wish I had been more aware of the hidden costs. I would highly recommend the Omni with an awareness that you will end up spending an additional 10-15,000 on extras.

Fantastic place to get married. Their service is top notch, the wedding rate for hotel rooms rate is very competitive and the ballrooms available for ceremonies / receptions are gorgeous. We were married in the Urban Room and had our reception in the Grand Ballroom – our guests were blown away. The William Penn is not the cheapest venue, but for what they provide they might be the best value. Especially for larger size weddings. They will take great care of you, the food is delicious, and for us it was a perfect day.

I had my bridal shower in the speakeasy and it was fantastic! The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, amid the drinks were strong ;) Loved the wait staff, they were amazing and very attentive.

We used the Omni William Penn for our hotel block for our guests. The Omni is in a good location and the lobby is impressive. The rooms are not anything special and are on-par with a standard Marriott or Hilton that hasn't been updated in 10 years. The Omni charges $2.50/gift bag to deliver your guest gift bags to the room - you cannot leave your gift bags at the desk to be handed out. This was a little annoying - after giving them so much business you would think they could deliver your gift bags for free. One of our guests received 2 bags for some reason. Otherwise the hotel was very accommodating.

We had a wonderful experience working with the Omni for our room block. Not only is this one of the more beautiful hotels in downtown Pittsburgh, but they also gave us as great room rate for our block We had a few hiccups with guests having difficulty in making reservations using both the online and reservation phone line. However, they were quickly resolved. Be prepared for a $2.50 service charge for delivery of guest gift bags.

We did our hotel block at the Omni, and it was a pleasure working with them! Because we reserved our block with them, they gave my husband and I a complementary suite for the night of our wedding. When we got back after the reception, we found a few cards from various members of the Omni staff, as well as some chocolate-covered strawberries and some chilling champagne. It was a sweet, unexpected gesture! We had brunch the following morning at the Terrace Room restaurant. The food and spread were both amazing, and the Omni helped coordinate tickets that we gave to immediate family and bridal party+significant others so that we could pay for their brunch as well. That was very easy! One thing that was a bit of a challenge was creating welcome bags for each room. The Omni requires that the names of the guests are on the bags, which ended up being great because we could personalize each bag. At the time, however, it ended up being a bit of an unexpected headache trying to figure out who was staying with whom, etc.... which had more to do with trying to figure out our families and friends than the Omni itself. If I had to book another hotel block for another event, I would not hesitate to book at the Omni!

Our wedding at the Omni William Penn was absolutely everything we dreamed of and more. Darlene, our contact at the Omni, made sure everything went well and was such a wonderful resource throughout the whole planning process. She really put in the extra effort and I couldn't thank her enough! I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Not only was the venue beautiful, but the staff was amazing. Everyone who attended said it was one of the best weddings they ever experienced. I would absolutely recommend the Omni to anyone who asked! Thank you, Omni!!

Nothing that I can write here can truly do justice to the elegance of the Omni's Grand Ballroom. If you have a big guest list (>300 people), I highly recommend the Omni William Penn Hotel for your big day. We had our cocktail hour in the Urban Room, which set the tone for how beautiful the Grand Ballroom would be. The Urban Room had doors that led to the Grand Ballroom that gave it that real wow factor when people walked through the doors. The service was unreal. There was someone there from the moment we got our first tour around the venue until the last guest left. Our wedding coordinator made sure everything was perfect and since we live out of time she took the time to schedule meetings to fit our schedule. The hotel offered a great room rate for our guests and accomodated last minute decision makers. Our experience was unreal. The beauty and elegance of the whole event was absolutely breathtaking! You have to see it with your own eyes, we highly recommend taking a tour of the Omni and then deciding for yourself =)

We could not have picked a more beautiful venue for our NYE wedding. Both the Urban Room for our ceremony and the Grand Ballroom for our reception were beyond gorgeous and like none we've ever seen before. Working with our coordinator, Darlene, could not have gone more smoothly. She was there for us whenever we needed anything and made sure everything went as carefree as possible. The food was delicious and the service was great too. We have received countless compliments from our guests about what a great time they had and how fabulous the entire night was. Thanks to the Omni, my husband and I had the perfect, one of a kind, fairy tale wedding we always dreamed of.

Darlene, the catering manager, was absolutely amazing! She helped us with every detail regarding the hotel and organized all of our outside vendors on our wedding day. The rest of the staff was attentive and very friendly, and the rooms that we used for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were beautiful!

The Omni was absolutely amazing! Although the prices may be higher than other venues, it was worth every single penny. They accomodated last minute lighting changes, had extra staff to direct each guest from entrance to cocktails to reception, added extra garnishes and liquors to our martini bar, and so much more. They even gave us the royal suite (that Obama stayed in--it was enormous) with a bottle of champagne and chocolate strawberries for each of the 3 nights we stayed. Our guests were so wowed by the entire hotel. Every person on staff is classy and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. And the food was out of this world! One of the best meals I've ever eaten, and I'm a very picky eater!

My fiance and I just met with one of the wedding planners at the Omni (Corey) and we were absolutely blown away by the Urban Room. We are planning to have about 200 guests attend our reception and the Urban Room is the perfect fit for our dream day! The prices are surprisingly affordable and we were ready to sign on the dotted line that day! From the moment we walked into the grand lobby we knew this was the place for us. The hotel is simply breathtaking and I know our guests will be blown away!

I've attended several weddings at the Omni and they are in a league all there own! The service goes above and beyond and the Grand Ballroom is in my opinion the most elegant reception venue on the east coast. In fact, I was so impressed with the weddings that I attended that I am now booking my wedding with them! I am working with Megan who is the best wedding planner a bride could ask for. She is making everything so easy and allowing me to really enjoy the planning process without stressing out too much! If you truly want that dream wedding you need to go to The Omni William Penn Hotel. No one in Pittsburgh will take care of you like they do!
