first email exchange as I was extremely anxious at this time and had been reaching out to other hair/makeup vendors since our original vendor, Mixology in St. Charles, permanently closed (super abruptly) in late July after we had already paid our $390 deposit. Michelle was also great during the trial (as was Zuli, the hair stylist) and paid close attention to details to make sure that I was as happy as possible with the outcome. We originally agreed on a start time of 11:30 AM but I ended up texting her a few weeks later asking to start early after a meeting with our month-of planner so we could finish hair/makeup by 3:00 PM. She was quick to respond and immediately made the change for me! POST-WEDDING THOUGHTS: I cannot say enough good things about our makeup artist, Michelle. She was so kind, professional, helpful, funny, and just overall amazing. Our wedding planner asked if we knew her before the wedding just because of how much she was able to connect with each person in the room. She did a fantastic job on everyone who got their makeup done!! Helen and Zuly also did amazing on everyone’s hair - no complaints from anyone whatsoever. They were all on time, helpful, and understanding. If you need a hair stylist/makeup artist for your wedding, you should ABSOLUTELY use One Bridal Company!!!!

There was a miscommunication on my part and she was amazing about it and fixed everything right away. Everyone in my party had Helen for hair and Yadibeth for Makeup. During my trial with both of them, I had no issues and my hair and make up looked exactly like the pictures that I had shown them. They had taken pictures to reference for the wedding day and again both turned out amazing. All of my girls loved their hair and makeup and we were getting compliments all day!

The trial went great and I loved my main hair and makeup team. The only issue we had was a mix up with the start time. To their credit they emailed me a few days before because they weren't sure of the start time (which was changed about a month earlier, which was their suggestion) but I completely missed that email - totally my fault. But no one tried to call or reach back out via email and they assumed it was the later start time. This made us run late and I had to cut short some of my getting ready and bridal party photos in order to make the ceremony start on time. I was a little disappointment no one followed up with me after missing that email, or after the wedding to see what happened or check how things ended up working out. At the end of the day everyone looked great which is what really mattered, but it was a bummer stressing about timing all day and not getting a chance to take all of our planned photos.

All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well and received so many compliments the day of. I would highly suggest using One Bridal Company for your wedding day!

Each woman received 30-45 minutes for each service and my daughter was a total of 90 minutes. My daughter had requested that only natural, neutral make up colors be used to match her look. Ami and team ensured my daughter's request was followed to a "T." My daughter looked stunning and the experience was exactly what she had dreamed of for her wedding day. Ami and team not only delivered quality services, they made the day fun. They laughed and cried with the girls and our family. Weddings are stressful and emotional and One Bridal made our day a little less stressful and the experience a lot more fun! was almost a year before our wedding, and I wanted to do one closer with my longer hair. Michelle ended up doing my makeup, and Becki did my hair. It was simply perfect! Everything I wanted it to be, and I am very picky to be honest! Michelle is seriously a gem - you should have her do your wedding makeup! One of my bridesmaids and my mom also got their makeup done by Michelle and they looked amazing! My mom NEVER likes when she has professional makeup done, but she listened to her and met her needs. They were so sweet to me, and made the getting ready part of the day so easy and fun! We had a blast together listening to music and telling stories! It was just the perfect day. My maid of honor and I were greeted and made to feel special on my wedding day, including a glass of champagne! The team helped achieve my loose curls look while pinning my hair in a way that it didn't fall into my face. I wanted a golden hour, sun kissed make-up look and feel that was achieved. We had a fun time there and my hair and make-up lasted all night. Overall it was a great experience.

I only left off one star as we unfortunately had a stylist show up ~30 minutes late which was stressful for me as a bride since we were on a strict timeline. They worked hard and were able to get all of the hair and make-up done on time. Overall a great experience with One Bridal Company and would definitely recommend to anyone. n owner Ami! Any time I had a question it was answered within the day! In September 2020 I had my hair & makeup trial. Becki did such an incredible job! 3.5 weeks before my wedding my fiancé and I made the decision to cancel our wedding in Illinois due to the governor’s orders limiting social gatherings. I reached out to the salon explaining that I had to cancel and they were extremely understanding of the circumstances. They were able to issue me a full refund for mine and all of my girls’ hair and makeup deposits. The only thing I didn’t get back was my initial deposit. Even though I didn’t end up using One Bridal Company for my wedding I was extremely pleased with my hair & makeup trial and I’m so grateful they were understanding of my situation and issued me a refund! I would definitely recommend them to other brides!
