History 1 Memphis Street has a rich history behind it, operating within the agricultural industry as a cotton seed warehouse for the Banks Family Farms. The cottonseed was stored in the warehouse, with a system of conveyors that were supervised by the workers to ensure the seamless delivery of goods. In 2014, Piet Zee and Dale Wilson, partner-owners, started a project that involved the preservation and renovation of this warehouse. The duo incorporated parts and pieces from downtown Memphis, curating a vintage aesthetic for that venue that authentically reflects the 1930s era.
