Scott responded to every question we had almost instantaneously, even when he was on vacation--excellent customer service. They were very flexible with last-minute changes in headcount. We also thought it was a great value considering the level of service and quality of food/drink they provided. Would heartily recommend to anyone.

They communicated with each other very well & there were no surprises nor any detail missed on our wedding day. We chose to do a buffet with butler passed Hors D'oeuvres during our cocktail hour. We received multiple compliments from our guests on how good the food was. Our guests especially liked the Italian Bistro Steaks, Chicken Cacciatore, and Cavatelli Broccoli. Orlando's pricing was very reasonable and transparent. Most importantly, Scott, our catering coordinator, was incredible. He was always quick to respond to my emails, answered all of my questions, and was flexible in helping us create our menu. He was easy to work with & made me feel assured that everything would be taken care of as planned. At dinner during our reception, Scott checked in on my wife & me multiple times, and even with some of our guests, to ask if we needed anything. In short, Orlando's was an excellent choice. Their planning & assistance was excellent, and I highly recommend them if you want a buffet for your wedding.

, and bring a meat thermometer. The side dishes and appetizers were just fine. The main dish looked and tasted nothing like the one we sampled other than being chicken. On top of that it was COLD. Lukewarm at best. This being said, it was cooked through--I believe they cooked it earlier someplace else and just did keep it warm or leave enough time to reheat it at the venue? I ended up only having a few bites and having green beans and the pasta side for my main meal (pasta was great, green beans were green beans). I didn't take pictures of the food at the tasting to show how it was different and honestly we were just so happy to have gotten married and have had the big stuff go well overall we didn't want to fight for a partial refund or deal with the catering after with so much going on. No one got sick, so we joke about it now. Ours was the wedding with cold, bad chicken. Of note it was a wedding with less than 60 guests, so not that much food to make/transport/serve for a company that routinely does larger events and weddings. Maybe we were not a big priority since it was a smaller wedding and we did not go out of our way to pick them since they were the exclusive venue caterer?

s. On the wedding day, the whole setup was beautifully done and the food was amazing! We got so many compliments on all of the dishes and the professionalism of the staff. Dan was very thoughtful and checked on us regularly and made sure we were taken care of. When it came time to clean the venue the entire Orlando's staff was efficient and thorough. They really made our day extra special.

During the wedding day, Scott ran his team seemlessly during our chillier outdoor wedding at the World's Fair Pavilion, and everyone enjoyed the Simply Elegance buffet package. eptember and cut our guest list to below 50. Through the whole process, Orlando's was right there with us with compassion, love, and understanding. They bent their own rules by doing away with their standard minimum guest count, still honored the per person price, gave us a partial refund and credit towards goods and services for the big day. This was totally above and beyond what we would have expected for any business in an industry hit extremely hard by the pandemic, they took the loss in fairness to us and that right there tells you the integrity of the business in extremely tough times. If that was how the story ended, that would be enough to give a 5 star review. But the wedding weekend absolutely blew us away and far exceeded our expectations. We booked out the majority of the rooms at the Lodge at Grant's Trail (owned by Orlando's), hosted our rehearsal dinner at the lodge, and had our reception at Orlando's. I would recommend this trifecta for any couple looking for a great place to host the wedding weekend. The lodge is a perfect Airbnb feel, with the privacy and convenience of a hotel room (having private bathrooms is nice). We had the entire lodge to ourselves that weekend which allowed us to have a central location for all of our family and friends to hang out before and after the official start times of our weekend events. The Mary Lincoln and Abe Lincoln room were perfect for bride/groom separated sleeping the night before and big suite on wedding night. The included breakfast is cooked to order and served as if you were at a restaurant. The venue space worked perfectly for a rehearsal dinner and allowed everyone to safely walk to their rooms after the party instead of having to drive. The lodge is a MUST add-on to the wedding weekend when booking at Orlando's. Did I mention it's walking distance to Orlando's event center?? Huge plus. Our reception was at Orlando's event center and it was everything we had hoped for and more. First of all, the room itself was beautifully decorated and was the perfect amount of space. They have three separate rooms in the event center, separated by air walls, which to be honest was a big concern for me going into it. I thought you might be able to hear everything going on the next room over, but never heard anything from the other rooms the whole night. The prices are a great value compared to everywhere else we looked (and we looked at a lot of places). Finally and most importantly, the staff there was incredible and put the icing on the cake of a perfect weekend. We ended up having Sam Orlando Jr. as our wedding coordinator and his customer service was EXCELLENT. Always willing to work with us and always went above and beyond to make us feel special and to ensure we had the most perfect weekend. From the top down, everyone on the staff was personable, friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we felt special. Carol was a crowd favorite and Timmie the bartender even sent us a handwritten note after we got home from our honeymoon. The staff and the service are the reasons we will be returning to Orlando's for future gatherings and parties and why we would recommend anyone to book with Orlando's for their wedding weekend.

G. The staff was excellent, the pricing was extremely affordable, and the food was DELICIOUS! People are still raving about the steak. We had a great time at Orlando’s and hope to be guests there again some day!

All of the food was wonderful and I had many people tell me how delicious everything was – I'm honestly still thinking about the mac & cheese and my husband hasn't stopped talking about the steaks!

She was very patient with me- as I pushed my final vegetarian decision to the last minute- but ended up with the best meal ever (which was also my meal!) Denise's warm personality made it an absolute delight to work with her and her team!

They also have several package options to choose from so you can find what's best for your event and your budget. We went to one of their Tasting Event nights, and I recommend attending one of these if you can because it was actually pretty fun, and nice, and you get to try a ton of the food! And of course their food is delicious!

He asked about all of our details from the food, to the napkins, to the type of bowls we wanted certain items served in. The crew that set up and took down the wedding was incredibly efficient and professional. Everything was set up exactly as we had planned. The bar service was phenomenal. Our hors d’oeuvres were delicious. I had been told by many brides that they never had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy their food. While hors d’oeuvres were being passed we were taking photos. I was disappointed that I was going to miss our hors d’oeuvres but when I sat down at our head table Scott came over and pointed out a plate of hors d’oeuvres that he had saved for us. The staff assisting with the service were polite and wonderful. Orlando’s also created a coffee bar and carmel apple bar for us that was a huge hit with our guests. I had multiple people compliment me on the quality of the coffee. The carmel apple bar was delicious. Orlando’s also provided different toppings for guest to add to their carmel apples. Orlando’s exceeded my expectations. Scott made us feel like our wedding was of upmost importance. Whenever I would mention to another vendor that Orlando’s would be catering our wedding they had nothing but wonderful things to say about Scott and his crew. We were blown away but the attention to detail, professionalism, and service provided by Orlando’s. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job!

on Denise, was by far the best part though. She was nothing less than wonderful and we could not image working with anyone else in the future!

ok away one star because some of the waitstaff during cleanup just started trashing things and ended up throwing my bouquet in the trash. They did dig it out for me, but didn’t appreciate that they didn’t ask considering I was present for the entire cleanup.
