I opted for the trial, which I'm glad I did because I was able to communicate my vision and test things out. Would absolutely recommend going with Lacey.

ut to book my trial and didn’t hear back for 2 months and only after reaching out more. I also didn’t get a timeline until the day before including arrival times for the stylists. Then they texted me afternoon the day before my wedding asking me to pay in full (still no contract) and when I didn’t see because I was at my rehearsal dinner they texted again saying I needed to pay promptly at 9am the day of my wedding. Luckily it all worked out but I was extremely anxious they were going to bail, especially because again I had absolutely nothing holding them to it besides a few texts. TL:DR- the stylists are awesome so I hope the company improve some of their administrative practices because as of now I would not recommend them.

Booking experience: I first tried to book services for bridal and wedding party hair and makeup over email with Lacey the owner. I paid the $300 deposit on venmo but when I asked for a contract she said they didn't provide them. She then clarified that I was booking HER and not the company even though she never said that and that to book Pacific Artistry and get a contract (which what bride would EVER book a vendor without a contract???) she would have to refund me and go the process over through the company. It just seemed very weird and dishonest how she tried to book me privately when I was emailing the business address. *Trial experience: I had my hair and makeup trial with Sabrina who was very nice. Lacey was there and when Sabrina asked for her help she came over the YANKED on my hair, never introduced herself, never saw her smile, very rude and unprofessional, not someone I would ever want there on my wedding day. The trial was supposed to take 1-2 hours, and I ended up being there for FIVE HOURS. I do have thick hair, but I was NOT prepared to be there for that long. I was thirsty and hungry and I was sore the next day from sitting in the chair so long. While I appreciate Sabrina taking her time, it was very unprofessional and way too long to sit there. She said it wouldn't take as long on the day because she was experimenting. When Sabrina did my make up it ended up great but I was a little confused she asked very little questions, she just kind of put on whatever she felt like. *Wedding day: We booked Pacific Artistry even though they were more expensive than other vendors specifically because they promised they could get us all ready in 3 hours at the venue which is what our timeline allowed and I made clear was important to us. We got started early that morning with Sabrina and Erica, but I ended up not being ready until at least 45 minutes after was scheduled and missed a lot of photo time before the ceremony. Erica handled the bridesmaids and they were ready on time, and Sabrina did my mom and then she said I should go later so as to be more fresh but I said no I wanted to make sure we had enough time, which thank goodness because I was not ready on time at all even being second into her chair. They didn't seem to put any thought into time management, even though my hair and makeup were done on the first attempt, no changes were made, it still took almost three hours to get me ready which was totally unacceptable. They did not deliver on their promises and it caused extra stress and missed photos. I seriously can't believe she wanted me to go later in the order after my trial took so long and I said our timeline was important. My trial was also less than a month before the wedding so fresh in her memory. That being said, my hair and make up looked great at the wedding. The hair Erica did for bridesmaids and MOG looked pretty good too, but not like the pictures she was shown and there were some issues with curls falling out. Overall, I hope this helps someone make a more informed decision before booking this company. They charge premium prices but I don't think they ultimately deliver on them when it comes to the services provided.

al, I hand idea what I wanted for my hair and I never wear makeup so I was really worried I was going to be over done. The stylist, Lacey was amazing and talked through the whole appointment about what to expect and many suggestions on styling ideas. Pacific Artistry was the cheapest hair and makeup company, but I wanted to have confidence in a company that things were going to be seamless. I felt like they were. I also had many conversations with don and he was very helpful.

Everyone looked natural and beautiful - they did a great job keeping us on timeline without stressing or rushing. I really appreciated their positive energy and how skilled they were. A few of the girls didn't quite know what they wanted (even day of) and they worked with them to quickly land on a style that fit with the look. Highly recommend!

lack of respect of customer service. Further, when you reach out to Don the owner (when he actually responds) he is incredibly condescending. This vendor was the ONLY ONE who caused me problems for my wedding and I wish I had never hired them in the first place. To give you a few ideas of my experiences: 1. Their communication is spotty at best. Just trying to set up my hair and make up trial, I had to email 2x and leave an angry voicemail before they got back to me. This should have been my sign and I should have run.... 2. At my hair and make up trial I was rushed out of the salon with the receptionist pestering my artist that she needed to wrap up. We never got a change to actually debrief about what I liked and didn't with my hair so I basically had to start over on my wedding day. 3. They charge a parking fee + a transportation fee for all the of artists you will need for your wedding. When I pushed back on why I had to pay this x3 (rather than his artists carpool... or the fact that that is part of his cost to run a mobile business...) Don's response was "well what if one of the girls wants to stop for fast food on the way home and another doesn't, that isn't fair to them".. Wait what?? I am all for being accommodating, but that excuse actually made no business sense. Additionally, he tried to tell me that his prices and approach were competitive with peers... I reached out to two other highly rated teams to investigate and received better pricing and flexibility. 3. When I shared my concerns and frustrations to Don about my experience with his company to date, he went on a 5 minute long soap box about how Customer Service is the most important thing to him blah blah blah, but he actually never apologized for my experience (just made excuses for everything I brought forward) and never took any steps to make it right. Businesses make mistakes and I get that, but it is how you recover that measures your customer experience. Don and Pacific Artistry did not recover well at all. If you want to avoid a headache, find another vendor. There are many talented and honest hair and make up teams in the Seattle area. I feel bad for the hair and make up artists that work for Pacific Artistry as they do not deserve this negative review. But Don and his company do not represent what he "says" they stand for. Avoid the headache and the hassle and find someone else.

oked wonderful! They even did my mom’s hair when her hairstylist fell through! So flexible and easy to work with. They came to our house with just a small travel fee and were a lovely calm presence in all the flurry of the morning. Kayla S. did both my hair and makeup for the trial and the day of. She was very good, quick, but very thorough. I loved the results!

They then informed me that they had no hair dressers available and that was it! It felt as if they just didn’t want to do this event. If there wasn’t anyone available then a quicker response would have been appreciated.

I had never really gotten my hair styled before. I don't even curl or blow dry at home. I dabble in makeup, but still consider myself a newbie... just know enough to know what I like. I sent Kayla inspiration hair and makeup photos via email before the trial. I also brought a Korean hair pin that I wanted to include in my braided/updo bun to represent my ancestral heritage. Kayla listened to my feedback during the trial, took detailed notes, and my look came out exactly how I wanted on the big day. My two bridesmaids also had their hair and make up done with glowing feedback. We finished with time to spare and Kayla had a fun/chill personality so it was a relaxing way to start a long, busy day.

nts can run late and appointments go over, so there is a good chance it wasn’t her fault. She re-created the pictures I showed her perfectly and put her own little twist on it. I am very indecisive and know nothing about hair and makeup, so it was nice being able to take her opinion/suggestions on things. On the day of my wedding, I wanted to make two very minor changes to what Lacey had created during my trial and she did it no problem! My hair and makeup turned out great but my hair did start to fall out a bit as the night went on. All my bridesmaids were also happy with theirs. Lacey and her team were fun and easy to get along with!

of disappointed and convinced that it was my fault because I have so little hair to work with. I take low dose chemo meds so my hair falls out rapidly and I’m always very down about my lack of hair anyway. My family and friends encouraged me to tell them that I wanted my wedding hair to look like the pictures I showed them and ask if there was something that could be done differently. I sent an email to them and explained my situation. I was informed that the hair stylist should have added extensions to make my hair more full so they could style it like the pictures and I was told that they recommend a second trial so I could see what it looked like with extensions. I agreed to come in for a second trial the day before my wedding because I already had a blow out booked which they also recommended because my frizzy hair texture. The second trial turned out beautifully and looked much closer to the pictures. I was very happy with the hair. Unfortunately, they charged me for a second trial - $125 for the trial and $40 for the blow out. I was confused because I did not ask for or demand a second trial. I also showed many pictures of exactly what I wanted during the first trial and was never offered extensions or told I didn’t have enough hair to do that so I assumed they were doing the second trial to make up for the first one. I don’t know anything about hair and makeup - nothing - so I didn’t know to ask for extensions on the first visit and I feel they should have been offered to me the first time around because they are the hair experts. Also, they charge a TON of money for hair extensions that you have to pay up front. It was something like $350 and if I sent the hair extensions back after my wedding, they would refund most of the money. They said the $350 was a deposit to ensure they get the hair back. Well... surprise... they did not refund any money once I sent the hair back to them. Honestly this company is bordering on what I would consider a scam.

avy and I wanted some changes to my hair. She offered a discount on services for the bridal party, so a week out, I went in for a facial and trim. That's when I told her I wasn't 100% sure about what we decided during the trial, and she reassured me that we can modify on the day of. She showed up on time and got all five of my bridesmaids ready - hair and makeup - just exactly as we wanted. They looked stunning! And when it was my turn, I was SO happy with the results. And while Lacey is all business and assured me "we have never missed a start time" which made me relax under pressure, she was also such a fun addition to the bridal suite while we prepped. My girls loved her, as we gabbed and giggled while we got ready. Of all the things a bride needs to think of and worry about, I never once worried about Lacey and the end result. Consider her and her team the item you can check off your list so you can focus on other things.

e day of! I had 10 girls getting hair and makeup done and we actually finished ahead of schedule which was so nice and allowed me to relax! All of my girls looked incredible! Everyone received compliments all night and my makeup lasted all night flawlessly! We had one hitch with a miscommunication about how many girls would be getting airbrush but the girls were very flexible and made everything right instantly causing no stress!

ed because they are in RENTON. If you pay for a trial of any kind you are required to go to their Renton salon. To start, I drove from Snohomish to Renton to get a trial and the owner who was my stylist was over thirty minutes late. Not to mention she claims she is the stylist and then has someone at the salon who doesn’t work for her company do your hair color and or extensions if you add it on. This is really not what my frustration and sadness stem from though, it is the fact that every single person apart of my bridal party on what was supposed to be the happiest day complained about how rude and odd it felt getting their hair and makeup done. There was literal tension and frankly rudeness from the moment Lacey and her partner arrived until the moment they left. Who does that!? We paid almost $1,000 and she was rude to everyone including me!? I have no idea what her problem was (her partner was better just very quiet) but I will never forget or get over it when it was such a dark cloud on a beautiful day. Also I hate to say it but hair and makeup were just okay... that’s all. It needed to be said.

I had some picky folks going into the process and everyone came out loving how they look. The hair and make up lasted over 12 hours for all! Highly recommend! My mom also had a trial and she fell in love with the service also. On my wedding day they arrived on time, completed 17 services on time. everyone in my bridal party looked great and was so happy with their service. I would Highly highly recommend using Pacific Artistry. I originally went with another bridal company because they were a few dollars cheaper and I thought I was saving money. It was a nightmare and I would never want a bride to feel that stress. A HUGE bonus was they also work closely with a salon and spa. So all my bridal needs (hair cut, color, facial, lash extensions and my custom spray tan) leading up to my wedding day were taken care of.

Communicating with Lacey was easy and she responded quickly. They all showed up on time and ready to rock on the day of. Overall, my experience working with Lacey and the Pacific Artistry team was great and I would recommend them to anyone!

ess the issues directly with the owner, only to find that process additionally concerning. My three issues were: A) Lack of communication between Lacey and the stylists on the day of the wedding. This resulted in the team not having the information needed to be able to do my hair and make-up as outlined in the trial appointment with Lacey. B) Frequent changes in the arrival time, the total time needed to get everyone ready and how many stylists would be present. With changes being initiated by Pacific Artistry up to the day before the wedding. C) Changes to the trial date - I contacted Lacey initially in late April for my August wedding. April 27th she scheduled my trial for July 19th at noon in BL location. On June 20th I received and email from Lacey with new days and times for the trial. In response, I reminded her of the previous schedule and she requested a change in location, date and time. After the honeymoon, I attempted to discuss with Lacey on the ways I felt that the services fell short. In that effort, I found her to be less then open to looking at what could have been done better. Rather, she was defensive, blaming and even a bit rude. I requested a partial refund for which Lacey deferred to her husband who manages part of the business. After a final follow-up I never heard back from either of them.

So instead of ruining my day I tried to rejoin my hair as much as I could and moved on. I had a total of 9 people getting hair and makeup done, and everyone looked completely stunning. Many of my girls didn’t have much of an idea what they wanted to do, and Lacey’s team did a great job of working with them to find their perfect look. They arrived promptly and easily kept to our timeline. An added bonus was that Lacey took photos throughout the morning before my primary photographer arrived. The pictures I have seen thus far are gorgeous! Thank you Pacific Artistry for making me and my girls all look amazing!

Lacey was so helpful and patient emailing with me after the trial to talk through variations of what we tried to make sure the big day will be stress free and we're all on the same page. I think it's the part of the wedding i feel most relaxed about since i already know what to expect and feel like we have a good rapport. Highly recommend pacific artistry UPDATE: I wanted to update with a review of the wedding itself. I could not have been happier with my hair and make up and the entire experience. I was so happy to have done the trial and had such great communication leading up to the wedding that we were completely on the same page the day of. Both artists not only did great work on my bridal party but they were a pleasure to spend the day with.

My stylist was Lindsay, who was so great to work with. We were able to find a style that I liked and was comfortable with during the trial. And on the day she did a great job! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. We were also able to get another stylist so that we could get all the bridesmaids and moms' hair as well as my makeup and hair done in time for pictures. Thanks again!
