The actual hair and makeup was beautiful, but you have to put up with terrible communication and unresponsiveness. I never received any kind of contract or final quote. I reached out to book my trial and didn’t hear back for 2 months and only after reaching out more. I also didn’t get a timeline until the day before including arrival times for the stylists. Then they texted me afternoon the day before my wedding asking me to pay in full (still no contract) and when I didn’t see because I was at my rehearsal dinner they texted again saying I needed to pay promptly at 9am the day of my wedding. Luckily it all worked out but I was extremely anxious they were going to bail, especially because again I had absolutely nothing holding them to it besides a few texts. TL:DR- the stylists are awesome so I hope the company improve some of their administrative practices because as of now I would not recommend them.

The short story: my wedding hair and makeup looked good, but overall they have no respect for your time or wedding timeline and the owner is rude and unprofessional. Long story: *Booking experience: I first tried to book services for bridal and wedding party hair and makeup over email with Lacey the owner. I paid the $300 deposit on venmo but when I asked for a contract she said they didn't provide them. She then clarified that I was booking HER and not the company even though she never said that and that to book Pacific Artistry and get a contract (which what bride would EVER book a vendor without a contract???) she would have to refund me and go the process over through the company. It just seemed very weird and dishonest how she tried to book me privately when I was emailing the business address. *Trial experience: I had my hair and makeup trial with Sabrina who was very nice. Lacey was there and when Sabrina asked for her help she came over the YANKED on my hair, never introduced herself, never saw her smile, very rude and unprofessional, not someone I would ever want there on my wedding day. The trial was supposed to take 1-2 hours, and I ended up being there for FIVE HOURS. I do have thick hair, but I was NOT prepared to be there for that long. I was thirsty and hungry and I was sore the next day from sitting in the chair so long. While I appreciate Sabrina taking her time, it was very unprofessional and way too long to sit there. She said it wouldn't take as long on the day because she was experimenting. When Sabrina did my make up it ended up great but I was a little confused she asked very little questions, she just kind of put on whatever she felt like. *Wedding day: We booked Pacific Artistry even though they were more expensive than other vendors specifically because they promised they could get us all ready in 3 hours at the venue which is what our timeline allowed and I made clear was important to us. We got started early that morning with Sabrina and Erica, but I ended up not being ready until at least 45 minutes after was scheduled and missed a lot of photo time before the ceremony. Erica handled the bridesmaids and they were ready on time, and Sabrina did my mom and then she said I should go later so as to be more fresh but I said no I wanted to make sure we had enough time, which thank goodness because I was not ready on time at all even being second into her chair. They didn't seem to put any thought into time management, even though my hair and makeup were done on the first attempt, no changes were made, it still took almost three hours to get me ready which was totally unacceptable. They did not deliver on their promises and it caused extra stress and missed photos. I seriously can't believe she wanted me to go later in the order after my trial took so long and I said our timeline was important. My trial was also less than a month before the wedding so fresh in her memory. That being said, my hair and make up looked great at the wedding. The hair Erica did for bridesmaids and MOG looked pretty good too, but not like the pictures she was shown and there were some issues with curls falling out. Overall, I hope this helps someone make a more informed decision before booking this company. They charge premium prices but I don't think they ultimately deliver on them when it comes to the services provided.

Very poor communication. Tried to reach out to them through 3 different channels to pay them and lock them down for my date after they said they were available with almost zero response . Very disappointing.

Truly caring team and made the wedding day less stressful knowing that hair and makeup was taken care of. They were professional and adaptable when I messed my makeup around my eye due to having to take out a contact that was bugging me. Would recommend them!!

I had multiple trials with a few big hair and makeup companies in the Seattle area. I chose Pacific Artistry because of their promptness in responses and professionalism. At my trial, I hand idea what I wanted for my hair and I never wear makeup so I was really worried I was going to be over done. The stylist, Lacey was amazing and talked through the whole appointment about what to expect and many suggestions on styling ideas. Pacific Artistry was the cheapest hair and makeup company, but I wanted to have confidence in a company that things were going to be seamless. I felt like they were. I also had many conversations with don and he was very helpful.

Me and my bridesmaids loved working with Pacific Artistry. They were quick, professional, clean, and they made all of us look fantastic. The whole booking process was done via email and very easy. I booked them based on reviews and everything turn out beautifully. I scheduled my trial and worked with Robin and erika. They were on time at my trial, asked questions I would not know to ask. The salon was super cute, clean and the staff was fun and upbeat. They made my vision look way better than I thought it ever could. I would highly recommend any one from their team,

Pacific artistry was great; they were promptly responsive, helpful, and amazing. My makeup girl that did my trail hair & makeup, and wedding day look was phenomenal. We had three artists doing my bridal party hair & makeup, they were great! All my girls looked incredible and I couldn’t have asked for me. Thank you so much for making us all look gorgeous!

Lindsay, Lacey and Kayleigh were a dream to work with. I met them at the Seattle Wedding Show and they were super easy to book with. I had 7 bridesmaids...all with hair and make-up needs and they made it simple to book them all with all their various combinations of styles. The day of - the ladies were rock stars. Everyone looked natural and beautiful - they did a great job keeping us on timeline without stressing or rushing. I really appreciated their positive energy and how skilled they were. A few of the girls didn't quite know what they wanted (even day of) and they worked with them to quickly land on a style that fit with the look. Highly recommend!

DO NOT WORK WITH PACIFIC ARTISTRY! This is not a review about the quality of the work done by their HMU Artists, but about the shady practices of it's ownership and their complete lack of respect of customer service. Further, when you reach out to Don the owner (when he actually responds) he is incredibly condescending. This vendor was the ONLY ONE who caused me problems for my wedding and I wish I had never hired them in the first place. To give you a few ideas of my experiences: 1. Their communication is spotty at best. Just trying to set up my hair and make up trial, I had to email 2x and leave an angry voicemail before they got back to me. This should have been my sign and I should have run.... 2. At my hair and make up trial I was rushed out of the salon with the receptionist pestering my artist that she needed to wrap up. We never got a change to actually debrief about what I liked and didn't with my hair so I basically had to start over on my wedding day. 3. They charge a parking fee + a transportation fee for all the of artists you will need for your wedding. When I pushed back on why I had to pay this x3 (rather than his artists carpool... or the fact that that is part of his cost to run a mobile business...) Don's response was "well what if one of the girls wants to stop for fast food on the way home and another doesn't, that isn't fair to them".. Wait what?? I am all for being accommodating, but that excuse actually made no business sense. Additionally, he tried to tell me that his prices and approach were competitive with peers... I reached out to two other highly rated teams to investigate and received better pricing and flexibility. 3. When I shared my concerns and frustrations to Don about my experience with his company to date, he went on a 5 minute long soap box about how Customer Service is the most important thing to him blah blah blah, but he actually never apologized for my experience (just made excuses for everything I brought forward) and never took any steps to make it right. Businesses make mistakes and I get that, but it is how you recover that measures your customer experience. Don and Pacific Artistry did not recover well at all. If you want to avoid a headache, find another vendor. There are many talented and honest hair and make up teams in the Seattle area. I feel bad for the hair and make up artists that work for Pacific Artistry as they do not deserve this negative review. But Don and his company do not represent what he "says" they stand for. Avoid the headache and the hassle and find someone else.

These girls were wonderful! Two of their team were able to get my 8 bridesmaids hair and my hair and makeup done in under three hours. The ladies was super sweet and everyone so looked wonderful! They even did my mom’s hair when her hairstylist fell through! So flexible and easy to work with. They came to our house with just a small travel fee and were a lovely calm presence in all the flurry of the morning. Kayla S. did both my hair and makeup for the trial and the day of. She was very good, quick, but very thorough. I loved the results!

I inquired if my wedding date was available for hair and make up and they originally said yes. They requested I send them the details so we can write up the contract which I did on a Wednesday. No response til Tuesday morning of the following week. And that might have been because I emailed multiple times to get a response from them. They then informed me that they had no hair dressers available and that was it! It felt as if they just didn’t want to do this event. If there wasn’t anyone available then a quicker response would have been appreciated.

Relaxing experience with great results: I had Kayla as my "on-site" (at my parents' house) hair and makeup artist for my wedding. I also did a trial a few weeks before. Scheduling of the trail was accommodating, which was a huge relief because I had a sudden multi-week business trip that really complicated my life leading up to the wedding. I had never really gotten my hair styled before. I don't even curl or blow dry at home. I dabble in makeup, but still consider myself a newbie... just know enough to know what I like. I sent Kayla inspiration hair and makeup photos via email before the trial. I also brought a Korean hair pin that I wanted to include in my braided/updo bun to represent my ancestral heritage. Kayla listened to my feedback during the trial, took detailed notes, and my look came out exactly how I wanted on the big day. My two bridesmaids also had their hair and make up done with glowing feedback. We finished with time to spare and Kayla had a fun/chill personality so it was a relaxing way to start a long, busy day.

Pacific artistry was amazing with all 10 of my girls. We had 4 stylist, the girls we super nice, outgoing, and seemed to love what the do. I highly suggest them as your team for your wedding day.

Lacey and her team were great! I was an out-of-town bride and it was easy working with Lacey to schedule a day to do my trial. She was late to my appointment, but I understand clients can run late and appointments go over, so there is a good chance it wasn’t her fault. She re-created the pictures I showed her perfectly and put her own little twist on it. I am very indecisive and know nothing about hair and makeup, so it was nice being able to take her opinion/suggestions on things. On the day of my wedding, I wanted to make two very minor changes to what Lacey had created during my trial and she did it no problem! My hair and makeup turned out great but my hair did start to fall out a bit as the night went on. All my bridesmaids were also happy with theirs. Lacey and her team were fun and easy to get along with!

I live in Oregon, but my wedding was in Washington. I drove up for a hair and makeup trial. My trial hair didn’t turn out at all like any of the pictures I showed them. I left sort of disappointed and convinced that it was my fault because I have so little hair to work with. I take low dose chemo meds so my hair falls out rapidly and I’m always very down about my lack of hair anyway. My family and friends encouraged me to tell them that I wanted my wedding hair to look like the pictures I showed them and ask if there was something that could be done differently. I sent an email to them and explained my situation. I was informed that the hair stylist should have added extensions to make my hair more full so they could style it like the pictures and I was told that they recommend a second trial so I could see what it looked like with extensions. I agreed to come in for a second trial the day before my wedding because I already had a blow out booked which they also recommended because my frizzy hair texture. The second trial turned out beautifully and looked much closer to the pictures. I was very happy with the hair. Unfortunately, they charged me for a second trial - $125 for the trial and $40 for the blow out. I was confused because I did not ask for or demand a second trial. I also showed many pictures of exactly what I wanted during the first trial and was never offered extensions or told I didn’t have enough hair to do that so I assumed they were doing the second trial to make up for the first one. I don’t know anything about hair and makeup - nothing - so I didn’t know to ask for extensions on the first visit and I feel they should have been offered to me the first time around because they are the hair experts. Also, they charge a TON of money for hair extensions that you have to pay up front. It was something like $350 and if I sent the hair extensions back after my wedding, they would refund most of the money. They said the $350 was a deposit to ensure they get the hair back. Well... surprise... they did not refund any money once I sent the hair back to them. Honestly this company is bordering on what I would consider a scam.

I was thrilled with Lacey and her team. We did a trial run about a month out, and it allowed me the chance to realize I wanted things done differently. The makeup for me was too heavy and I wanted some changes to my hair. She offered a discount on services for the bridal party, so a week out, I went in for a facial and trim. That's when I told her I wasn't 100% sure about what we decided during the trial, and she reassured me that we can modify on the day of. She showed up on time and got all five of my bridesmaids ready - hair and makeup - just exactly as we wanted. They looked stunning! And when it was my turn, I was SO happy with the results. And while Lacey is all business and assured me "we have never missed a start time" which made me relax under pressure, she was also such a fun addition to the bridal suite while we prepped. My girls loved her, as we gabbed and giggled while we got ready. Of all the things a bride needs to think of and worry about, I never once worried about Lacey and the end result. Consider her and her team the item you can check off your list so you can focus on other things.

I had Lindsey for my bridal hair and makeup and she was INCREDIBLE!! my bridesmaids are still raving about her. She does great work and was fun to have in our getting ready room the day of! I had 10 girls getting hair and makeup done and we actually finished ahead of schedule which was so nice and allowed me to relax! All of my girls looked incredible! Everyone received compliments all night and my makeup lasted all night flawlessly! We had one hitch with a miscommunication about how many girls would be getting airbrush but the girls were very flexible and made everything right instantly causing no stress!

Wow. First of all BEWARE. There is no transparency with this vendor. You will get your bill before you even have any information. First of all I’m not even sure why Seattle is listed because they are in RENTON. If you pay for a trial of any kind you are required to go to their Renton salon. To start, I drove from Snohomish to Renton to get a trial and the owner who was my stylist was over thirty minutes late. Not to mention she claims she is the stylist and then has someone at the salon who doesn’t work for her company do your hair color and or extensions if you add it on. This is really not what my frustration and sadness stem from though, it is the fact that every single person apart of my bridal party on what was supposed to be the happiest day complained about how rude and odd it felt getting their hair and makeup done. There was literal tension and frankly rudeness from the moment Lacey and her partner arrived until the moment they left. Who does that!? We paid almost $1,000 and she was rude to everyone including me!? I have no idea what her problem was (her partner was better just very quiet) but I will never forget or get over it when it was such a dark cloud on a beautiful day. Also I hate to say it but hair and makeup were just okay... that’s all. It needed to be said.

Oh my gosh. Pacific Artistry was amazinggggg for my wedding! I was stunned with how great my makeup and hair turned out. We were running a bit behind schedule since our rehearsal ran long, but the stylists were so quick while still being thorough and they even brought in two other girls to make sure we were done on time. I absolutely loved it and got so many compliments.

Wow, pacific artistry has some crazy-good skills! Hair and makeup artist turned me into a beauty princess and my makeup stayed on all day long. My hair was immaculate and a total work of art. It was what I had in mind and then some.

AMAZING! Lacey was super responsive in getting me a quote and setting up trials and the day of. We had three ladies (Kalya, Kayla and Kyliee) to do hair and make up for the bride, four bridesmaids, a grooms woman and two moms. They were super efficient and just fun to hang out with day of. I had some picky folks going into the process and everyone came out loving how they look. The hair and make up lasted over 12 hours for all! Highly recommend! They also did my 1st spray tan - loved it!

They did such a great job on the entire bridal party and the brides hair. They even finished with time to spare! The girls were so nice and fun we had a blast getting ready with them. I would highly recommend :)

I'm so glad I chose Pacific Artistry for my wedding day! Hair done for my bridesmaids and I was beautiful. Makeup was amazing. Katy C of Pacific Artistry was so flexible and totally listened to what each of us wanted. She made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. The only downside was communication with Pacific Artistry was a little slow, but Katy herself was extremely responsive to my messages! Would totally recommend Katy for anyone looking for a wedding hair/makeup stylist!!

Pacific Artistry was available to do a hair and make up trial and for my wedding day when I was able to book a month before my wedding. I had Katy C for both my trial and my wedding day and she was amazing. She was able to come to my house for the trial which was very appreciated. On my wedding day, she did my hair and make up, my daughter's hair, and my husband's hair. She did such a beautiful job and was definitely worth the money. She was able to chat with me and make me feel comfortable during everything even though it can be hard for me to open up. I am so happy I found her and that she was available. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family and use her in the future.

I hired Pacific Artistry after I had a terrible experience with another bridal company. I had allot of questions and concerns before moving forward and booking services.Hey were hands down the most professional and experienced team. I went in for my trial (late) because I already "book" my artist and I though i was set to go. I worked with Megan and she asked me every question under the sun. She was sensitive to my concerns. She made me look absolutely Beautiful. My mom also had a trial and she fell in love with the service also. On my wedding day they arrived on time, completed 17 services on time. everyone in my bridal party looked great and was so happy with their service. I would Highly highly recommend using Pacific Artistry. I originally went with another bridal company because they were a few dollars cheaper and I thought I was saving money. It was a nightmare and I would never want a bride to feel that stress. A HUGE bonus was they also work closely with a salon and spa. So all my bridal needs (hair cut, color, facial, lash extensions and my custom spray tan) leading up to my wedding day were taken care of.

Pacific Artistry did a wonderful job on my wedding day. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, not to mention my hair looked bomb. I was extremely worried about my hair as it's very thick and frizzy, and our wedding was in the summer, but it held better than it ever has. My bridesmaids also looked amazing and had a great experience. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Lacey was such a pleasure to work with. She provided hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my mother-in-law the morning of the wedding in the hotel where we were holding the event. She was so relaxed and easygoing, and did a great job translating our ideas into reality. Our event was more low-key (vows over a luncheon with our families) so I chose to skip a hair/makeup trial and really appreciated Lacey's flexibility accommodating that.

I had an extremely positive experience with everyone that I dealt with at Pacific Artistry from the owners Lacey & Don to several of the stylists that I worked with Megan and Kayla. From my very first communication to my styling trials to my wedding day styling, they were always very prompt to respond to my inquiries, super friendly and easy going, always on time and most important they listened to my input and did an amazing job with my hair & makeup! They are truly an amazing team of highly talented hair styling and make-up artists and I'm so glad that I chose to work with them for my wedding day! Lacey the owner went out of her way to help make sure that I was 100% happy with my wedding day hairstyle. She gave me some great styling ideas and even accommodated me on short notice to squeeze me in for a second hair trial after I changed my mind about how I wanted my hair done for my wedding day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for anyone looking for professional hair/makeup styling for any important event (wedding day, engagement or family photos) or really anytime you just want to look incredible . Working with Lacey and Pacific Artistry was a wonderful experience! My hair and make up trial was super easy, Lacey just understood what I wanted and I was extremely happy! On wedding day there was 8 girls total getting hair and make up and 3 artists working on us. My look from the trial was re-created perfectly and everyone looked stunning for the whole night. Communicating with Lacey was easy and she responded quickly. They all showed up on time and ready to rock on the day of. A few of the girls had no idea what they wanted and the artists gave some great recommendations that turned out amazing! Overall, my experience working with Lacey and the Pacific Artistry team was great and I would recommend them to anyone!

I am sorry to say that my experience with Pacific Artistry was not a good one. This is the first time I am writing of a service provider online. Before doing so I attempted to address the issues directly with the owner, only to find that process additionally concerning. My three issues were: A) Lack of communication between Lacey and the stylists on the day of the wedding. This resulted in the team not having the information needed to be able to do my hair and make-up as outlined in the trial appointment with Lacey. B) Frequent changes in the arrival time, the total time needed to get everyone ready and how many stylists would be present. With changes being initiated by Pacific Artistry up to the day before the wedding. C) Changes to the trial date - I contacted Lacey initially in late April for my August wedding. April 27th she scheduled my trial for July 19th at noon in BL location. On June 20th I received and email from Lacey with new days and times for the trial. In response, I reminded her of the previous schedule and she requested a change in location, date and time. After the honeymoon, I attempted to discuss with Lacey on the ways I felt that the services fell short. In that effort, I found her to be less then open to looking at what could have been done better. Rather, she was defensive, blaming and even a bit rude. I requested a partial refund for which Lacey deferred to her husband who manages part of the business. After a final follow-up I never heard back from either of them.

Pacific Artistry exceeded my expectations! The team was early, professional and easy to work with. I will definitely be using them again for events in the future.

Lacey was my hair and makeup stylist for my elopement ceremony in WA and I was blown away by the whole experience. From booking with her, to confirming dates and putting down deposits; the communication was consistent and Pacific Artistry was always available for my many questions and requests. Lacey showed up to my hotel room on time and completely prepared. We had a wonderful morning together and I felt so at ease and taken care of. My results were amazing! I felt so beautiful. I highly recommend Lacey and her team at Pacific Artistry for your hair and makeup needs!

Unfortunately I was unable to do a test run since I was out of town. My hair began to fall out within an hour. At first I thought it was my hair but then my daughter's hair also became loose and my mother's hair needed reinforcement. I also did not like my makeup. I produced pics of what I wanted but I felt I wasn't listened too. I try not to complain. So instead of ruining my day I tried to rejoin my hair as much as I could and moved on. Definitely not a place a would recommend unless you're able to do a test run and make sure the stylist is able to give you what you want.

Pacific Artistry is amazing. Being from Missouri and having an elopement in Washington I was a little worried of my timeline etc. Lacey was more than accommodating and made my wedding day so smooth. Her personality is awesome as well. She made me feel so, very comfortable with everything. I also felt so beautiful after her work! my hair was exactly the way I wanted it along with my makeup! I forgot a hair piece and she made sure to bring one for me the day of my wedding. I would recommend Pacific Artistry to any upcoming bride looking for an undue, makeup, and boudior photos!!

Everything about my experience working with Lacey and her team was effortless and enjoyable. The number of hair and makeup services we requested changed a few times before the wedding, and Lacey was always quick to respond and very kind about making the changes. On the day of, we last minute asked if they would have the time to do my husbands hair (he has great long hair, but doesn't know a THING about brushing it). Lacey's team was amazing in saying yes to styling his hair and him, myself, and all the bridesmaids and mothers were very pleased with how everything turned out! Overall it was a very easy and positive experience!

Lacey and her team were awesome the day of my wedding. They were very punctual which made the entire day less stressful. They also were a ton of fun and got along well with the entire wedding party making it a great time for everyone. I would definitely recommend Pacific Artistry. Also, their travel fee to come do hair and makeup at our venue was way cheaper than anyone else we considered.

Lacey Is AMAZING! She did my engagement shoot and it was nothing but fun! Lacey knows what she is doing and does not make it awkward at all. I will be working with her soon because I also booked her to do my hair and make up for my wedding, such a non stressful situation when your photographer and on site hair and make up is with the same person!!

Everything with Pacific Artistry was fantastic from start to finish. Lacey’s communication was excellent, my trial went great and was recreated perfectly on the day of my wedding. I took pictures in the rain, and my (now) husband and I were out until 3am, and my hair and makeup still looked flawless. I had a total of 9 people getting hair and makeup done, and everyone looked completely stunning. Many of my girls didn’t have much of an idea what they wanted to do, and Lacey’s team did a great job of working with them to find their perfect look. They arrived promptly and easily kept to our timeline. An added bonus was that Lacey took photos throughout the morning before my primary photographer arrived. The pictures I have seen thus far are gorgeous! Thank you Pacific Artistry for making me and my girls all look amazing!

So far I've only done my trial but it's already been a great experience. I'm really glad i decided to do the trial because i was able to see that what i initially thought i wanted didn't look as great on me as it did in pictures on pinterest. Lacey was so helpful and patient emailing with me after the trial to talk through variations of what we tried to make sure the big day will be stress free and we're all on the same page. I think it's the part of the wedding i feel most relaxed about since i already know what to expect and feel like we have a good rapport. Highly recommend pacific artistry UPDATE: I wanted to update with a review of the wedding itself. I could not have been happier with my hair and make up and the entire experience. I was so happy to have done the trial and had such great communication leading up to the wedding that we were completely on the same page the day of. Both artists not only did great work on my bridal party but they were a pleasure to spend the day with.

I booked a bridal boudoir session with Lacey and she is amazing. My hair and make up was perfect for my face shape and skin tone. She made me feel really comfortable in front of the camera as well. I had a really great experience and couldn't have been happier with the final product!!

I am so overwhelmed with complete joy and happiness with all you were able to do on my special day. My entire wedding party is still talking about their hair and makeup transformation . You have a magic touch and I will remember this forever! Thank you again, you and your amazing, caring and experienced staff managed to take a plain Jane like me and turn her into a Princess for a day ! I was a bit skeptical about booking Pacific Artistry for my wedding hair and makeup, as I had read some negative reviews. However, I believe that might have been under previous ownership. I worked with Lacey on booking and payment. She was sometimes a bit slow to respond, and there were a few times I had to follow up to get a response. However ultimately it all worked out! My stylist was Lindsay, who was so great to work with. We were able to find a style that I liked and was comfortable with during the trial. And on the day she did a great job! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. We were also able to get another stylist so that we could get all the bridesmaids and moms' hair as well as my makeup and hair done in time for pictures. Thanks again!

I cannot say enough great things about pacific artistry. My wedding was 6 weeks ago and from day one with requesting information to walking down the isle everything was prompt and fabulous! My hair and makeup turned out perfect. I couldn't of asked for a better service! I have referred them to two other girlfriends getting married. You will not be disapointed!

I had Kat, and she did a great job fielding 2 brides and a flower girl. My 7 yr old was the flower girl and honestly her hair stole the show. It was absolutely adorable.

I was seriously impressed with how amazing my hair and make up along with those of my bridesmaids and mob and mog! Kat and her assistant were so quick but efficient, and so much fun! I hope to use them again for other events!

Did 2 trials runs with Tracy. She was super nice, but I just didn't feel like she got my vision. I had to cancel 2 weeks prior to my wedding, so that I was able to find a new hair/make up stylist. Shanelle tends to be unresponsive once she has your down payment.

When looking for hair stylists and a makeup artist for my wedding, I was a little hesitant to contact Pacific Artistry due to the negative reviews on multiple sites. As many other reviews states, I had immediate contact with Shanelle, the owner, who answered my questions with promptness and interest. After checking with a friend, who had been in a wedding last summer where the bride had chosen Pacific Artistry, I decided to go with them. However, once I had paid my deposit, all email communications stopped and I had the hardest time trying to contact Shanelle. I had signed my contract, but Shanelle had not filled in the details, and each time I sent it back, it return without any information in it. I was concerned as I knew this wouldn't be a binding contract without any of the information. My wedding planner also tried many times to contact her, and after weeks of trying, managed to get a signed contract the week before the wedding. I was lucky as I had the fabulous hair stylist of Kat Green. She was consistent in emailing, set up my trial, and generally made sure everything was taken care of for the wedding. If it wasn't for her, I would have been super panicked that there would be no hair stylist/makeup artist on my wedding day. The positiveness of my review comes solely from her work and for her. She was a great leader with the other stylists that worked on my wedding. She is such a kind and funny person, making me feel beautiful on my wedding day! I highly recommend any bride to look her up (Kat Green Makeuplove) and use her services as a hair stylist and makeup artist! I wish I could give a more positive review of Pacific Artistry, especially since they are relatively cheaper than most wedding hair stylists and the initial contact was promising, but had it not been for Kat, I would have found someone else as I could not guarantee services on my wedding day.

Shanelle is the owner of the business, but Kat is the artist who did my hair and makeup. She was very pleasant to work with and very good at creating a beautiful bridal look. She even stuck around to fix my face after some early emotional moments with my Dad. I thought the price was a bit steep, but it was worth it to have my bridesmaids and myself pampered on the big day. We all looked stunning.

Through Pacific Artistry, I was assigned Kat Green to do my make-up and that of my bridesmaids. Kat is very fun and does excellent work. We all looked great! She was open to suggestions and adjusted accordingly.

I was in a panic last minute when my original girl cancelled. I called Pacific Artisty and was amazed when she said someone would be able to come to our venue. Tracy emailed not long after I booked and scheduled the at home trial. The trial was great, she played with colors and figured out the look I wanted for the big day. The day finally arrived and she did the entire wedding parties make up to perfection! I was amazed, she added comic relief and put us all at ease. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!

I loved working with Shanelle and was so happy that she brings her service to you, even for the trial run through. She was a great listener to my ideas and once I showed her some photos she was able to tell me what would and wouldn't work best with my own hair and makeup-- which I loved since I normailly don't put a whole lot of effort into those things on a daily basis! She nailed my trial run and was so fun to work with! Then on the big day she was able to do my 7 bridesmaids hair while her assitant did their makeup. She made sure that as the bride, I was comfortable and relaxed throughout our day of beautifying and kept things fun with her outgoing personality! She did an amazing job and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone with knowledge, experience, and most importantly, provide you with a memorable experience getting ready on your big day!

Shanelle did a fantastic job on my hair & makeup and on my 3 bridesmaids hair. We all looked amazing. She really knows what she's doing! She's so down to earth too, which made me feel really comfortable! She worked quick on the day of the wedding, we actually finished before the guys! So grateful that I went with Shanelle.

I have Latay as my hair and makeup stylist and her assistant Melissa for my bridesmaids Hair. Latay was amazing!! She is so talented and worked with a wide range of faces and ages. No matter the skin type, hair type and age, everyone looked AMAZING!! I was so happy with the way my makeup and hair turned out!! She did exactly what I wanted and it was the best I have looked!!

I was disappointed by my stylist on my wedding day. I had e-mailed her several times in the 2 weeks prior to my wedding to let her know that I changed the number of girls requiring hair & makeup. When she showed up on the wedding morning, she was upset that I had changed that and when I reminded her that I had tried to reach her by e-mail, she responded by saying, "I was busy and out of town. I didn't have time to check my e-mail." I wanted to say to her, "I don't care, this is your job." She proceeded to explain how tired she was and how she got about 3 hours of sleep the night before. Even though I think she's a brilliant stylist, her professionalism was lacking and I felt that it did damper my wedding day.

These gals were very easy to work with and so nice. Kat did my make up as well as bridesmaids and mom. She was a calming presence on the day and did a fantastic job making us all look like stars for the day. I think the prices are very reasonable for the job they do as well. It is very convenient they come to your home, hotel, or wherever you are for the day, which makes it fun.

My stylist came to my trial run-through only a couple days before the wedding since we live in California and were only in town a week ahead of time. The hairstyle I wanted just wasn't working, and instead of trying all day, she set up another appointment the day after. I was happy she didn't give up and she got it right the next day! Day of I found out that all the assistants were either sick or busy...this meant that we had one stylist for six ladies! She was very flexible and worked on me and my maid of honor in our hotel room then worked on the rest of the gals at at the venue...can I say after six hours of hair and makeup by HERSELF she did an amazing job and did not give up on the quality of her work. It was magic! Pacific Artistry also refunded me a little bit, and that was very nice of them. I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Thank you Pacific Artistry!!!!

Pacific Artistry is fantastic. There are quite a few artists to choose from and they all have wonderful experience and portfolios to prove it. I worked with Kat Green and absolutely loved her. She is so easy to work with and she always does a beautiful job. Kat really listened to what I wanted and stunned me with her finished work. I felt absolutely radiant on my big day thanks to Kat.

I was the matron of honor in my sister's wedding. Pacific Artistry was booked to provide hair and makeup services to all of the women in the bridal party. Because of this, appointments were scheduled to begin 12 hours before the wedding. The artist never showed up and never called to explain why. We were unable to reach the owner for several hours and when we did she did not offer to send anyone else, nor to pay for the bride to have her hair and makeup done at a competing salon. This caused a terrible start to my sister's wedding day and a scrambling bridal party. I would caution anyone considering Pacific Artistry for an important event.

If you want to end up in tears on your wedding day choose Pacific Artistry. My artist, Amanda Stewart, never showed up on my big day. She never answered her phone, and she hasn't called since to apologize. When asking the owner, Shanelle, to pay for my Gene Juarez appointment, she refused. Gene Juarez was amazing and treated my like a princess. When choosing Pacific Artistry you are guaranteed to be disappointed.

Shanelle has a gift with hair and make up! My hair and make up was so beautiful and it stayed all night long even after dancing and being sweaty from the weather (and heavy dress!). And no smudge or mascara run (that was definitely my biggest fear since I predicted a lot of crying will happen). I am so happy that I've hired her--I couldn't have been a happier bride. She made me look and feel beautiful all day.

Hannah did such a fantastic job and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She did hair and makeup for me as well as makeup for my mother and sister/MOH. We are looked fabulous! She did both the trial and day of on location which was so convient and helped to make the day stress-free. Hannah was a pleasure to have around on the day of while getting ready. She's friendly and professional all in one. Would highly recommend her to any future brides!

I went with Pacific Artistry after a lot of searching. Since I wasn't paying for my girls to get their H&M done, PA was one of the cheapest options out there for them if they wanted to use it. Which one of my bridesmaids decided to do. They also had great prices for the bride and traveled, all things I was looking for. Kat was my stylist. She was great! I showed her one hairstyle that I liked a lot for the trial, and when she did it on me, I realized it wasn't my style. She worked with me to find something that would make me happy on my wedding day. I felt bad making her redo my hair, but she had a good attitude about it through the whole thing, and I came out of it feeling WONDERFUL. Kat is also really relaxed and easy to talk to, so even though you may be nervous, she makes you feel a little more relaxed both during the trial and the day of.

she did such an amazing job and actually cared about my makeup and even said she still gets nervouse because she wants the bride to be amazing and i was!!!! she somehow made me look like me but like a wedding princess it was more than i could have imagined!

I chose PA with recommendations through The Knot. I spoke with Shanelle and she was very thurough with what she needed from myself and all the girls to be able to give us all the look we wanted. She came to my house for my trial and we hit it off right away. Her fun personality and professionalism, put me at ease on my big day. She was on time, calm and funny! Her work is amazing!!! She is very talented! Shanelle and her team (we had Kelly), are an asset to your wedding day!! You will look lovely and be stress free!

The last thing you want in a makeup artist is someone who shows up late or unprepared. Shanelle did not let me down. We had an early call time with me and my bms. She was there before us getting set up. Loved my hair and makeup, just was not what we had talked about on the runthrough but it all worked out in the end.

Prices are competitive, and Amanda was great. I didn't have a specific look in mind beyond general color palette, and she did a fabulous job. The only adjustment I made was to change the lipstick just a bit, and she happily did that. She did a great job on my mother as well! And air brushing - that stayed on all day and all night. Perfect!
