Not only were the views STUNNING and the food AMAZING, but the staff was so much more than I could’ve imagined. They responded quickly and made sure everything was exactly as I envisioned. I could not have asked for a better experience!

We loved having our wedding at Paint Creek Country Club! The coordinator, Haley, was helpful in the months leading up to the big day. She communicated easily and answered all of our questions. On the day of, Haley was truly superb, frequently checking in to see if there was anything she could do for us, and meeting the needs that arose. The rest of the staff was also great as they managed the buffet, dessert, and bar. There were people assigned specifically to get the bride and groom food which we appreciated. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and makes for great pictures. We did an indoor wedding and loved the view! While getting ready, we were able to use both the locker rooms and the bridal suite, so we had plenty of space. We would absolutely recommend this venue!

Truly, truly amazing. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Haley and the team were INVALUABLE to our wedding day. The space looked gorgeous. The food was delicious. (I’m still getting compliments on it 2 weeks later.) Couldn’t have asked for a better venue or venue staff. Thank you, again!

I had my daughters birthday party here and I am BEYOND so impressed, the staff was so kind and very helpful, the scenery is beautiful and the food was DELICIOUS!!! I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. I will definitely be using Paint Creek again in the future 💗

I cannot praise this place enough! My husband and I choose this venue for our wedding day. Haley was amazing to work with and made sure the day went by without a hitch. The staff is so friendly and the food was delicious. You have to go to this venue to really appreciate how beautiful it is. The big window with views of the golf course are breath taking. I appreciate all the staff for helping make our day so special ❤️

Haley was amazing and was so caring to keep in touch throughout the process, every staff member was focused on the needs that everyone had. A beautiful venue with professional staff that care about taking care of you and yours on your special day. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We just had our wedding last weekend and Haley and staff made it absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and made sure she was with us every step of the way from planning to the day off! They even brought us out appetizers post ceremony! Our guests had an amazing time and it really was a stress free experience for us. The food was just phenomenal and i heard guests talking about it all night long. If i could do it all again i wouldn't change a thing. This venue is just absolutely perfect from the staff to the amazing landscape views.

We had our December wedding reception at Paint Creek and it was amazing. Haley was our coordinator and was so easy to work with and her staff was just as incredible. Everyone worked so hard to make the day special and stress free. All of our guests loved the food, bartenders, and how beautiful the venue was. I could not recommend this venue enough!

We had our ceremony and reception here and it was stunning! Haley and Rosa went above and beyond. They were not only accommodating but very helpful throughout the whole process. Everything came together exactly how we pictured it. Also the food and drinks were amazing!! Everyone was saying how good the chicken piccata and beef carving station was as well as the Mac and cheese!

Catie was the coordinator and she was SOO sweet and helpful! My entire bridal party was raving about how great she was. She even brought us drinks while we waited downstairs for the grand entrance. We asked for an all vegan menu and they did AMAZING!!! The venue itself was gorgeous- some of the guests even saw deer when they were standing on the patio. I had an amazing night at our wedding and the venue made it perfect. The getting ready room was attached to the locker room, which we also had access to, and it was such a nice large space to get ready in. I highly recommend!!!!!

We loved Paint Creek! We initially picked Paint Creek Country Club as our venue because it had a great winter wedding discount and the views were beautiful. We are so glad we did. Haley did an amazing job at accommodating all our wishes including fitting an 11 person band and rearranging the floor plan. We were able to set up the day before and break down the day after. Everything was well planned and low stress. We added on time so we had a 6.5 hour wedding celebration. The service staff and bar tenders were very attentive. We got compliments on the food all night long.

This venue has negative reviews taken down, including mine. Their overall rating is falsely inflated because of this. Brides beware! Please reach out to me if you are considering this for your wedding, since I can't share my story on here or how they acted highly unethically and kept our money.

We had our wedding here at paint Creek country club and it was everything I had hoped for! I married into the last name Wood on the night before Halloween: so I was looking for a rustic, yet classy, woodsy yet seasonal vibe In a venue. Paint creek was the perfect venue to accommodate all of this (and had a wonderful view overlooking the gold course). Haley was perfect. She was so informative but didn’t push / try to pressure me into any extras I didn’t need or want. I sent her at least 20 emails with lists of questions and she answered each and every one, reassuring me that it was normal to have that many questions. Now, the food. I really wanted the food to be better than “typical wedding food”. I received so any compliments on the food. We had the traverse city chicken, and filet mignon with casino butter: and it cut just like butter. Both meats were so tender and perfectly cooked. The garlic mashed potatoes were very flavorful and the green beans were crisp and warm, just the way I like them. The ONE thing I could say if I had to complain was that they ran out of Miller and bud light, but my family is full of big drinkers. And when they did run out, they offered substitutions (plus there was PLENTY of liquor). Overall, so super happy with the venue, staff and wedding day!

We had our wedding here on 7-31-2021. We did ceremony and reception here. Overall everything was lovely, felt well taken care off and things were good. The food is excellent! I highly recommend the Mac and cheese. I appreciated the flexibility from both Hayley and Catie. Somethings occurred that were not of their fault but just happened to happen on our day, and none of it was a big deal. Venue is beautiful. Waitstaff was helpful and bar tenders were great. The ceremony area is gorgeous and the golf course views are gorgeous for photos!

Paint Creek Country Club was absolutely amazing! It was everything we wanted in a venue. We had our ceremony and reception there and everything ran so smooth and perfect. Haley, the event coordinator, ensured everything went as plan and there were no issues at all! She guided us through the wedding process over the course of two years, since we had to delay our wedding due to COVID. It was literally the perfect wedding! The staff was super friendly and professional. The food was AMAZING! Our guests raved about it for days! The venue offers really good spots for wedding photos, including the amazing floor to ceiling walls inside the venue which is what drew our attention to this venue. We highly recommend them to host your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

We started business with them in late 2019 and booked for 2020. Due to the pandemic and government mandated restrictions that were put in place, Paint Creek gave us the option to reschedule for a later date or the following year (2021). We rescheduled. During that year we know the pandemic has taken a toll on everyone, business and people alike, with many deaths and lost jobs. We decided to cancel our 2021 wedding for a few different reasons, but the main one being because we personally knew way too many people who have died from the outbreak and not a single person on this Earth at this point in time knows when things are going to be "normal" and safe to hold large gatherings (like weddings) again and we aren't putting more of our family and friends at risk of getting severely sick or dying. With that being said, they make it blatantly clear that they care more about the money in your wallet than you as a client. No other options to use our money was given to us and I have the proof showing they didn't give us any other options to put that money towards. I tried responding to talk further about options or negotiations, but I hadn't received a response in over a month until I filed a complaint with the BBB. I expressed my concerns and how we felt like we were being robbed out of thousands of dollars for no services in return and how unprofessional they were as we felt blatantly ignored and they came back saying that I was accusing them of criminal behavior and I need to separate fact from feelings. They said my statement of feeling like we were robbed of our money is a “grossly inaccurate statement”. We paid over half our total bill and gave them roughly 6 months notice we were cancelling so no food, napkins, or linens, whatever needed for the event shouldn’t have been ordered for our event yet. No employees have been paid for our event yet, and no services have been provided for what we paid yet. Where does all that money they keep go to then anyway, I have to wonder, if it’s not being used for these events that are being cancelled? We aren't the only ones. Paint Creek states that "spared no shortage in offering alternatives for you" when they very obviously didn't. Every other vendor or venue I have had to cancel with, some being small businesses ran out of trailer homes, were way more accommodating and offered more options for us than Paint Creek has and they ultimately ended up giving us at least a full or partial refund, no questions asked, no issues. Our bridal shower venue even offered to still make all the food we paid for and cater it for us, which we took happily. They all were also way more professional and pleasant to work with than Paint Creek, if I'm being perfectly honest. Luckily we didn't pay off our entire bill for Paint Creek, otherwise we'd be out nearly double our money. Making sure you go above and beyond to provide quality service and always have your clients leave feeling satisfied, like their time and money was well spent, and wanting to recommend your business to others is important. My (now) husband and I personally have not gotten this “highest standard of quality service” experience from Paint Creek Country Club like they claim they provide. Please save your money and sanity and find another venue with better morals and business practices in place. I would never intend any malice on anyone personally, but we also aren't ok with watching thousands of dollars go down the drain either.

SO disappointed in Paint Creek. Do NOT choose this venue if you think that any unforseen circumstances may affect your big day. Our wedding was originally planned for June, 19, 2020. We had to postpone because of COVID. We rescheduled our 200+ wedding for August of 2021, but continued to be concerned with all of the group gathering restrictions and did not want to put any more money into a day that may not be allowed. We decided to cancel the event and wait to see how open the state would be this summer. (Mind you, we were in love with this venue, and had they treated us ethically, would have definitely used them once everything opened up). The $1k deposit was stated upfront as non-refundable. Which we understood. However, when we attempted to get our refund for our first deposit (around $8k), they told us that was not an option. The contract stated a refund could be issued if an event could be booked of greater or equal value on the date in question. However, the manager said this was not even an option and they did not have to honor this due to COVID. I totally understand that the pandemic was difficult on brides & businesses alike, but the lack of disregard and complete indifference that we received once problems arose was extremely disheartening. The entire experience was such a nightmare and I would hate to see other couples lose so much money and time choosing to work with a venue who could care less about the customer.

Disappointing customer service. We booked Paint Creek two years before the COVID Pandemic for October 2020. Once the pandemic started, I emailed the event coordinator to see what their plans were. They let me know they planned on moving forward unless things changed. In August, once it became clear that we were likely not allowed to have an indoor wedding. Basically, the event coordinator told me to call back in early September (my wedding was in OCTOBER) and we could talk about options. I asked if they planned on getting an outdoor tent or if I needed to find another venue and they kept stringing me along saying they were talking about it. I told her I had to order my invites and she basically said I don't know what to tell you. In September, I called and asked that they were planning on doing and they still didn't know for sure. They never told me that they couldn't officially do it they just kept stringing me along. I finally made the decision to book a different outdoor venue and had to cancel Paint Creek (because they could not legally hold my wedding since they didn't have an outdoor option). They refused to give me back any of my deposit because they 'couldn't book an equal or greater value event for that day'. Even though they legally couldn't hold any event that day because of COVID restrictions. At first when we booked PC I was really excited because they seemed really on top of everything. But, my experience with them during COVID was a nightmare. I completely understood that they didn't know what was going on just like I didn't, but they just kept stringing me along and telling me I could postpone (even after I told them we didn't want to). It was a horrible experience. They made me so stressed out - and it's supposed to be their job to help out their stressed out brides. I highly recommend going with a different venue if there is even a CHANCE that COVID could impact your wedding. They will not help you and they will not give you any money back.

Words cannot describe how amazing Paint Creek Country Club was for our wedding. Haley was super easy to work with and accommodated all of our needs. Because of her, our vision came to life!! Steve brought out apps to the bridal party during photos and was shoveling the snow for our portraits. Steve and Haley went above and beyond for us to truly make it a fantastic event. The bartenders and staff were incredible and very accommodating to our guests. The whole night was magical and I cannot thank Haley, Steve, and the their team for going above and beyond for our wedding, we truly felt like they cared and our guests felt the same!! And the food was AMAZING!!!!! Everyone absolutely loved it!!!! I wish we could do it all over again!!❤️

I had my wedding ceremony and reception here. Ceremony was absolutely beautiful and the reception was perfect! The food was great, the staff was there every step of the way to assist with ANYTHING I needed and not one person had a complaint that attended. We couldn’t figure out how 250 chairs would fit outside where they host their ceremonies but it happened and was extremely perfect. We were able to take the golf carts out to take pictures so no one had to walk which was fantastic! I would highly suggest Paint Creek and Haley is FANTASTIC to work with!!

We had our wedding reception here on 9/27/19 and were very pleased with the venue! The food was great, they spoke highly of their chef and he lived up to it! We had a lot of compliments on the food. We did a buffet line that staff helped serve, it was set up on the dance floor, and was a smooth quick process. The wood ceiling and large windows gave a more natural/earthy and open feel, which is what we wanted, we loved the natural light pre-sunset, not to mention, all the windows overlooking the golf course was beautiful. The set up is great, something that was very important to us, with the dance floor right in the middle, a roomy bar, and cocktail area just to the side. It felt very inclusive no matter where you were in the room. We had 200 guests (including bridal party and vendors), which was 25 tables plus the head table, and the seating/arrangement of tables felt very comfortable. There was a very nice patio area as well. Bathrooms for guests were a little small, but just refinished, so they looked nice. Staff the day of were very friendly, we felt very taken care of, and I felt like my guests were too, they were professional, everything ran smoothly. It was sometimes difficult to communicate with the venue director during the planning process, but they are busy as they were booked almost every weekend when we booked our date, it just took some reminding, and my questions were always addressed/answered. Hotels in Auburn Hills did have shuttle options to and from venue- we used Springhill Marriott. Overall, it was the perfect venue for us, beautiful, affordable, and a better bang for our buck compared to similar priced venues. It was a huge part of what made our wedding day so perfect. We would definitely recommend.

I married my best friend at Paint Creek on Sept 28, 2019. Haley and Steve really tried their hardest to make everything we asked come true. From the extra early start time, to bringing in our own late night bite. I truly felt that this venue put us first. Following the strict guidelines of other venues made wedding planning frustrating! When I would have been disappointed it was lightly raining, Steve pulled out golf carts for me and my entire 20 person wedding party to ride down the golf course in. It made our first look and group pictures one of a kind, and truly a thing to be remembered by all. Steve even brought out appetizers while we continued to take after ceremony pictures. My growling stomach was very much appreciative, and it made another hour til dinner bearable. Haley was a real gem too, and overall rockstar planner! She reminded me of certain details a long the way and offered suggestions where I hesitated. I appreciate everything she did to help make my wedding day special. All of our 178 guests raved about the food, alcohol, and overall service. I HIGHLY recommend Paint Creek for any event! Five stars across the board!

Paint Creek Country Club was the best decision my Husband Robert and I made for our July 20th wedding. The venue is beautiful and the staff was so helpful with everything! Steve even drove us out to the beautiful large tree to have pictures done and got us back just before a huge storm came through! We got so many compliments on the food that was served and how attentive the staff was to everything. People kept telling us that it was the best and most organized wedding they had ever been to. we also appreciated how quick the staff was in helping us take down our decorations at the end of the night, and how they put everything in nice organized piles so it was ready to be loaded up. Even when I personally got sick (it was the hottest day of the year and I had suffered a mild heat stroke) Steve and his staff were so helpful and made sure I comfortable and did whatever they could to help. I highly recommend Paint Creek to anyone who is looking for a beautiful venue with great food and a great staff for not an outrageous amount of money! It will be well worth it!

Our experience at this club was horrific. We arrived on our wedding date to discover that the “water was out”. We had 200 guests arriving and we did not have use of bathrooms or running water. The club provided one outdoor port-a-potty for our 200 guests and use of a bathroom in the “potting shed” that was filthy. Since the club did not have water pressure our beverage service was limited and we did not have ice for part of the evening. The staff knew all day that the water was an issue but chose not to inform the bridal couple until we arrived at 4:00 for our wedding at 5:15. The staff did not approach us to explain the issues , we had to go looking for staff members to find out what was going on and were repeatedly told we would have water in “five minutes”. The lack of planning by the staff added so much stress to our wedding. Some of our elderly relatives left after the wedding service because the port-a-potty was not Handicap accessible. Much of the stress of this wedding was caused by the staff not reacting and planning properly during this crisis. I hope other bridal couples do not experience the same disappointing experience.

We wanted to share the experience that Paint Creek Country Club gave to my son Ben and his new bride Lyndsay over the last year, as they prepared for the big day. It all started with a sit down meeting with their wedding coordinator Haley. Haley gave them her undivided attention and walked them through the process and discussed everything from the smallest detail. She educated using her knowledge to help set expectations and budgets. Then there was the food tasting event where the chefs had laid out a spread very near to what you would experience on the big day. They had linen displayed, different types of vendors, hors d'oeuvres, meats and all the fixings ending with deserts. That event alone made it a vision instead of a fear of the unknown. Over the year Haley always made herself available and at times sent out reminders of things to keep on schedule. When the big day arrived Haley and the GM Steve were there to make sure that every detail was handled. They made the bridal party comfortable in the ladies locker room as they did hair, make up and all the usual fussing that brides do. The ceremony went off without a hitch due to Haley being so pleasant but firm to keep a rather large bridal party focused and on Que. The rest of the night went without a hitch. Cocktail hour, a sit down dinner ( our guests raved on the food) they managed the desert table including the serving of the wedding cake that was crafted by a close family friend. The s'mores station was the talk. The whole wait staff and bartenders made sure our guest were well served all evening. Compliments to the owners of the club for putting together such a dynamic team. Thank you all for the most memorable evening.

I can not say enough about how wonderful Paint Creek was for my daughters wedding. From the first time we met with Haley and Steve over a year ago our experience and dealings were easy, reassuring, and professional. Any questions we had were answered promptly and everyone was great listening and talking about our vision for a beautiful wedding. The day of the wedding we worked with Steve, he is amazing. Helpful with everyone while decorating, and attended to any questions or items needed for our set up. During the reception he was there to help with any of our needs. The waitstaff, bartenders were friendly, helpful. I can not say enough good things about Paint Creek. Highly recommended!!!

Pray nothing goes wrong at this venue... Our daughter’s wedding reception was held here on June 28, 2019 and it turned out to be a disaster. We agree with the write-ups which describe how beautiful this venue is. However the day of our reception, the air conditioning system failed. The thermostat read over 82 degrees in the banquet hall. The entire wedding party and guests were soaked in sweat, it was a nightmare. Half our guests had to leave early due to the heat. A large dirty construction fan was brought in only after complaints were made from dozens of people. I understand problems happen, however when they do what's most important is how they are handled. We were told multiple conflicting stories at the start of the reception as to why it was so hot and were repeatedly assured the AC would be back on momentarily. That never happened. Our event coordinator, Hailey, left early that night and left an poor college intern in charge. Following the event, we requested some sort of compensation off our bill that was even slightly commensurate with this impact. The owner frequently delegated our calls to his golf pro and was dismissive of our attempts to rectify this problem. We received a $200 credit off the total bill, which is a fraction of what we had paid in advance.

Paint Creek Country Club has it all, great staff, great food and a beautiful view! We fell in love with the venue the second we walked in and saw the glass wall with the view of the beautiful golf course. The staff was so easy to work with and allowed for a ton of customization for our big day. Haley, Steve and team made sure our day was completely stress free and were available all day for anything that we needed all the way through the next day when we went to pick up our decorations and they were organized and waiting for us at the front door! We had our ceremony and reception there and would recommend it to everyone.

Could not have been happier in choosing Paint Creek Country Club to host our reception. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Haley and her whole team were wonderful from start to finish. I never thought I would be a difficult bride but I totally was. We visited multiple times to take measurements and look at decorations. We couldn't make the group tasting because we had our Pre-marital counseling. They set up another day for us to do our tastings and accommodated when we had an additional person show up that we invited but were told wasn't coming. They stayed late for us the night before the wedding to let us set up because we did all our decorations and chair covers our selves. We can not thank Haley enough! It was absolutely worth every penny!

Paint Creek Country Club is by the far the most beautiful Venue we looked at! It requires minimal decorations because the scenery is beautiful enough. Inside and out. Haley was such a blessing throughout the ENTIRE process. She was so great! Everyone said the food was perfect, the scenery was lovely and the staff was so friendly. Prices was VERY reasonable for everything that you get here! Please do yourself a favor and have your BIG day here!

Paint Creek is beautiful! The food was delicious and the staff were more than accommodating. Hailey and Steve were super helpful throughout the whole process and Hailey made sure I had everything I needed, everything went smoothly, and I always had a drink in my hand. My husband and I will recommend this venue to anyone, and hopefully get to use them again in the future.

I am so happy we choose Paint Creek for our wedding. Haley and Steve made my perfect wedding a reality. Steve was incredibly helpful in the planning process and answering every single question I threw at him. It was so great to have Haley coordinating my big day. They were both so accommodating to the needs of my husband and I, my bridal party and my family. I cannot thank them enough for everything, Paint Creek is an amazing place to get married.

Hailey our event coordinator was fantastic!! She helped In everyway possible!! If something was missing or going to be a problem... she found it or fixed and found a solution for all of it. Thank you Hailey... you are amazing!!

Haley and her staff at paint creek were the absolute best! The food was amazing! Everything ran smoothly. The compliments we recieved after the wedding about paint creek were nothing but great! This is a great place to have a wedding!

Haley and Steve are SO great! I’m so glad I went with Paint Creek for our ceremony and reception. They really took all of the stress off my shoulders and handled everything perfectly! Our wedding was incredible and I highly recommend them to everyone!
