If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. The staff is rude and disrespectful. The manager Patty was rude and dismissive. After another rude interaction with Stephanie I decided to take my dress elsewhere to be fixed properly. 0 out of 5 stars is needed.
The place isn’t bad the owner isn’t bad. Patty the manager is the worse person on the world. She is rude, doesn’t know her job. I don’t care how long she has been there she should be fired. I am not going to go into details because that doesn’t matter. She is a problem for this store and they really need to get rid of her.
Hands down the best bridal store on Long Island ! The selection of gowns , one more beautiful than the next. The entire staff at Paradise Bridals was such a pleasure to work with. I purchased an Eve of Milady gown here. Christina the seamstress made my gown fit like a glove. It felt like it was custom made for me. Maria in tuxedoes is amazing ! Patty the manager is wonderful. Honestly every sales person in the store was absolutely amazing. I purchased my gown here , both mothers gowns were purchased here and the tuxedos were all rented here. Everything came in a timely manner. My entire experience with Paradise Bridals was stress free and lovely.
Anna is brilliant she is well experienced, calm cool and collective ! Listens to what you would like and is so patient gives her ideas !! No pressure salesperson absolute the best!! The rest of the staff is so wonderful as well ! First day we walked in we brought all our dresses ! Go ask for Anna so professional !!
I was greeted immediately upon entering the shop. I found a Mother of the Groom dress with the honest and practical help of the manager and assistant. I was treated well. I’ll send follow-up reviews when dress comes in and is fitted. I predict it will be fine. The manager seems experienced, the store is established and both ladies seemed very interested in finding something that fit my personality and figure. It was a pleasant experience.
I was pushed into getting a dress that i wasnt so thrilled about, like they didnt want me to try others on, then was told they would not place the order right away because I was so far out from the wedding date. That they would wait a couple months. A week later I called to cancel and also indicated that the dress size seemed wrong, Patti refused to cancel, said they ordered that day, which is not what i was told and would not work with me. Now 2 weeks before the wedding I'm getting harassed that the dress is in.... amazing timing....and for payment and they called a 3rd party and disclosed information without authorization....
I had a great experience with Paradise Bridal! They have a ton of styles to choose from and were always willing to suggest some choices! In fact, the dress I fell in love with was a suggestion from Robyn! I used their in house alterations and Celia was not only AMAZING, but also a pleasure to work with! They remembered me by name without me telling them each time I came in for fittings! I would definitely recommend!!
Paradise bridals was not one of the first bridal dress stores I went to. As most girls feel you don’t always find your dress at the first store you go to right? You have to keep looking to get that “wow” effect like on the tv show “say yes to the dress” but in all honesty you don’t, you either love the dress or you don’t in my opinion and what I felt as a bride. How I found this gem of a store was through my grandmother and mother they had been to this store back when it started out in patchogue before they moved to Bellport. So we made the appointment with them as soon as we could get in. When we got there they were extremely friendly and the store was huge and had a wide variety of a selection of bridal gowns and accessories. We had the help of Patty the manager of the store and she was a doll to work with she immediately got down to business and wanted to see what I was in search for in a wedding gown. So I showed her what I was looking for and she delivered all kinds of beautiful looks. But one in particular dress caught my eye. My grandmother, mother, and myself were in tears of joy. It was meant to be. I finally found the dress. Once that happened we jumped right on to do a “say yes to the dress” day at the store with champagne and it was perfect. We also got the bridesmaids dresses and the groomsmen tuxes from them too. Patty helped with all the girls and Maria helped with all the men. They were amazing! Also the seamstress Josephine was a doll! She truly is special and was always there for all my dress appointments. Then I even came in with my rehearsal dinner dress and they helped me find a special accessory for that dress so it would be glammed up. The store is amazing and truly treated us like family. Thank you ladies for all your help and support through this special time. XO Joseph and Jamie Esposito
HORRIBLE customer service, most combative, unprofessional manager I have ever come across. As a business owner myself, I would be appalled to continue employing a manager who escalates issues the way Patti has.
Upon no longer being apart of a bridal party, and contacting Paradise Bridal to figure out options for my non-refundable bridesmaid dress, Patti felt the need to then call the rest of the bridal party to confirm that I was no longer a bridesmaid. Reached out to the bride who was at a family funeral, then another bridesmaid. Not sure how someone can justify those actions.
Cannot speak to the business as a whole, but in terms of the manager, I hope the Owner reads this and contacts me back. Absolutely unspeakable as to the way the manager conducts business and her actions.
Requested to speak with the Owner multiple times, and emailed the below. Unfortunately, it seems as though the manager must have deleted the email prior to the Owner being informed.

"This email is for the owner of Paradise Bridal ONLY.
I am requesting a call back at your earliest in regards to the beyond unprofessional business ethics that your manager Patti has conducted herself in.
I have been trying to resolve an issue and find the best possible solution for a bridesmaid dress I signed off and ordered back in November. I requested to speak with the owner multiple times throughout my conversation with Patti and was denied.
I am more than happy to find a resolution but upon Patti further escalating the issue, I am prepared to contact not only BBB, the Attorney General, State Agencies and have already contacted my bank to dispute the charge."
When you go in to pick your dress the team will make you feel like a princess, and then once the bill is paid they could give a hoot about you. They don't answer or return phone calls, they lie about when your dress is arriving, and then they threaten to cut your train off your dress because "it is too many bustle points". They FORGET to order your blusher and then hand you one off the rack that has a broken clip and isn't attached to your veil! They say there is a price cap on alterations but then try to up charge you by an extra 200 dollars. They heard what I wanted for alterations and the seamstress said "no" right off the bat. The dresses are gorgeous and reasonably priced, but beware, customer service is not their forte.
I went to Paradise Bridal for my mother of the bride dress. I was met with a helpful, kind and caring attitude from their wonderful salesperson, Rosalie. She was so very helpful and patient! I would highly recommend shopping here where they are so ready to help.
Everything about my trip to Paradise Bridals was perfection. I felt at home from the minute I walked into the store. Everyone is overjoyed to help you find the perfect dress. The alterations are done with such expertise and the dresses are kept in beautiful condition until your big day. I am truly sad I can’t see the staff at Paradise now that my wedding is over. They are amazing. Don’t waste your time! Go straight to Paradise Bridals!
This is not the place to go for Tuxedo rentals. My husband had gotten his tux from there and he had nothing but problems. First out of all the guys, his was the last to come in after being the first one ordered. When he had called to find out if his tux was in he had to call back a few times because no one was in the tux department and no one could answer if his tux was in our not. When he was finally told it was in he went in and tried it on to find out it didn't fit. With two days before the wedding they had to order another jacket, and vest. Luckily, they came in the next day and it fit. Once he brought it home and went to put on the tux for the wedding. The pants that had fit when he had tried them on, now did not. The adjustment clasp was broken, therefore, he had to staple his pants to keep them up. Luckily our Maitre D had safety pins and was able to pin them up. Upon returning the tuxes we told them what had transpired and all we received was an I'm sorry. We feel that, that should not have been the only thing we received.
Matilde was amazing and so helpful and encouraging. Thanks to her, I found the most beautiful wedding gown. I couldn't be happier and the folks at Paradise Bridals were so patient and friendly! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
When my mom and I first went to Paradise Bridals, it was our first stop to look for my wedding dress. I wasn't intending to find one on our first trip out, I thought I just wanted to browse. The attendant who helped us was very friendly and I showed her a few pics of what style I had in mind. She was super helpful and had this intuitive sense of what worked and what didn't, and was able to read my reaction to each dress I tried on. After maybe 7-8 dresses, all three of us said "let's go back to number 2." After helping me put on a veil, we knew it was the one! From that point on, they handled everything. My dress came in a timely manner, and alterations were a breeze. So professional and helpful. They stored my dress & veil until the day before my wedding, and made sure everything was pressed and wrinkle-free for pickup. Loved my experience at Paradise Bridals!
DO NOT GO HERE! If you enjoy getting the run around on just getting a basic status on your dress, and having them order your dresses 1-2 sizes below your measurements, then act condescending towards you when their alterations department didn't complete the alterations like they were suppose to, ignore you for two hours when the bride calls them out on their BS, and lie and weasel out of giving the alterations for free (since they screwed up) then my friend, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. My only advice: DOCUMENT everything. The only reason my girls didn't get stuck paying for alterations was because they had a receipt in writing stating there would be no charge for ANY alterations. Donna is unprofessional, a liar, and a reflection of the sheer incompetency of this place. This business needs to be shut down, it has ruined countless brides and bridesmaids experience on what should be wonderful memories. This place isn't Paradise, it's hell.
I won't lie, after reading a lot of the reviews I was very nervous to purchase my dress from Paradise, but I'm SO glad I did. Matilda was my bridal consultant and was absolutely incredible in helping me pick my dress, so incredible that when I picked it with just my mom, she pretended we had never seen it before when I came back with my sister so she wouldn't feel like she missed out on the experience of shopping with me.
My dress came in quickly (with more than enough time to spare), and they sent me to their recommended alterations place right around the corner (Alterations by Lucy) who has also been a DREAM to work with. I lost 30 lbs between buying the dress and my first fitting, and she never made me feel like it would be an issue. I had my final fitting last week and it fit like a glove when I got there! I pick my dress up next week and I can't wait! Thank you so much Paradise! <3
After going to so many bridal salons with no luck, I finally found Matilda! She was very patient with me after I tried on a bunch
Of dresses! And of course the last one that I didn’t like actually was the best! She went out of her way to make me a “happy bride”.
Once my dress came in, it needed a minor alteration & Tina came to the rescue. She was able to redesign my dress perfectly.
Patty was beyond nice and lent me a Tiara until mine came in. Yes, there was few alterations but it was well worth every penny!
Thank you Paradise Bridal!
MY NIGHTMARE
I'll start by saying this place and the people that work here ruined my bridal EXPERIENCE that I only had one chance to have !! My idea is to warn every bride from having the EXPERIENCE I had !!! Please do your self a favor and stay far away from these idiots !!
I ordered my dress over 1 year and 6 months ago. I was getting married on Sept 9th of this year. As time for closer about 5 weeks before my wedding I had several people ask me the famous question are you all ready for the big day and my answer was no still dont have my dress in. A week later I get a phone call from paradise bridal saying I need to come in and pick out a veil. Well now I'm confused because I pi led out and pays for a veil over a year ago with my dress. After waiting on hold for several mins a lady with a attitude comes back on the phone to tell me ok ok we got it as if it was my fault it wasn't written down. I then ask when will my dress come in ? My wedding is only 4 weeks away she tells me you have plenty of time your wedding is in 7 more weeks!! They wrote down the wrong date !!!
1 week go by now I panic I am now promised a dress by the end of that week I say ok great i call every day and get a different answer of when my dress will come in. Finally after calling several times I go in to try my dress on that I wasnt even allowed to look at before I payed I'm full. I pay try it on and my dress wouldn't close my dress was 5 inches to small. Before I tried on the dress they said I need to go somewhere else for alterations cuz they dont do them here. Well now I'm crying cuz the dress doesnt fit what do I do with only 2 weeks to go??!!
They tell me oh this happens to everyone let me bring out our seamstress ... hmm now they have someone that can fix this suddenly. Now I feel stuck what am I to do cant bring it home I only have 12 days until my wedding. They begin to fix it have me back the next week and I have a 630 apt and I dodnt get seen until 845pm with 2 crying kids unbelievable this happens a 2nd and 3rd time now waiting with my kids
Not only did I have to wait with my crying kids I still had a dress in a million pieces and had to deal with a nasty women named patty who claims to be a manager. Not once did patty or any worker come over to me to apologize for the wait or the fact that a customer was un happy !! As I sit there 1 day before my wedding I see 2 other unhappy brides panicking about picking up there wedding dress a day before there special day !!
Now I'm crying cuz ghey messed up the back of my dress and nothing was the way I wanted it and 1 day to go I had to miss work for this apt and i was supposed to be taking it home instead they made me sit for a hour and wait cuz they were still working on the dress while I wait. Unbelievable all said and done it wasnt right the workers were so nasty and I dodnt have my dream bridal dress experience. They ruined it for me
They Made my mom pay 525.00 for alterations after us asking for 2 weeks what the proce would be and made her pay in cash !! Why ?? Cuz I'm sure they do this to every bride by the looks of the reviews
My wedding day came my back of my dress was horrible and I had a sewing tool sewed into the bottom of my God damn dress!!! I hope to save at least one of you from having the EXPERIENCE I had please stay far far away from these ass hole people !!
Amazing service and not pushing at all. I was going just to look and get an idea of what I want and fell in love with a dress! Marna helped me and is very professional and helpful! Will be getting my bridesmaid dresses there!
Paradise Bridal provided excellent service for me (the bride) and the groomsmen. Patty helped me through the process and was great. When it was time for my dress fittings, I had to cancel my first appointment because I was not feeling well. I rescheduled without a problem and during that time I found out I needed surgery. Before the surgery I had a fitting. I had lost so much weight, and when I told them what happened, they completely understood. They pinned my dress anyway and a 2 weeks after surgery when I came for another fitting they told me they didn't alter it just incase I lost more weight or gained weight. I was so glad they did that because I did lose more weight. By this time, my wedding was a week away. I ended up having2 more fittings after that. My dress was perfect! Going through such a crazy health issue 3 weeks before your wedding is beyond stressful. Luckily, Paradise Bridal made sure my dress was perfect, leaving me stressfree about my dress. Every single staff member was so helpful, kind, caring, and professional. Words cannot express how thankful I am for everyones' hardwork to make me feel beautiful on our wedding day.
I would recommend that if you purchase your wedding gown from Paradise, that you have it altered somewhere else. Every person that I worked with at the bridal salon was very kind and helpful, but I really was not happy with the alterations. The seamstress that worked with me truly did the best that she could, but it really wasn't enough. I got married in March, not a very busy time of the year, but I can definitely see that the alterations department can get very overwhelmed with more than 3 brides at a time. I needed about 5 rounds of alterations, and it still wasn't perfect.
I had an absolutely amazing experience at Paradise! I was recommended to visit here by 4 women who've gotten their wedding dresses at Paradise, and who all had nothing but great things to say about their assistance and selection of dresses. I made an appointment with ease. My mother and sister joined me and Cindy was our bridal assistant. She was so sweet and helpful. I was sort of all over the place with the type of dress I was looking for, and she listened to my requests and pulled several different dresses based on what I told her. I was concerned my size wouldn't be available in the dress I liked (I'm a 12-14), but I didn't have to worry, there were a ton of samples in my size. After the 5th dress I tried on I knew I found the one!!!! I got my veil too that day, and it matches my dress perfectly.
I just can't say enough about the perfect experience I had at Paradise. I was dreading dress shopping due to my own issues with my weight, but Cindy put me at complete ease and made the process 100% enjoyable. I have recommended Paradise already to my friend and family and can't wait for my dress to come in!!
Patty was so helpful and so amazing! All the ladies there were welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. As a plus sized bride, they never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because my first fitting was done by a woman in training who took forever to pin the layers of tulle and she really seemed to struggle with pinning the top, which was too big, in a way that was very flattering. When I got there for my second fitting, it looked like no work had been done except the cups were sewn in. Turns out the woman in training only lasted there for 2 days and she had done work on the dress but just not enough. Luckily, it was still too big and too long, so she didn’t ruin anything. The second seamstress I had during my second fitting was a godsend who did beautiful, fast work. When I came back for my third fitting, everything was perfect.
Matilda sold me my dress, she knew EXACTLY what i was looking for, i fell in love with the first one she pulled for me. She was personable, kind and helpful.
My dress came in roughly 10 months later (they told me this prior to ordering and it was way before my wedding date). Unfortunately the length was too long and bottom was see through (didnt know this when buying it) as it was an issue with the dressmaker. Patty and Matilda worked hard to make sure that the designer fixed the problem for me and at no cost to me. They certainly did right by me and i couldnt be happier. Thank you guys, i cant wait to wear my dress on my big day!
The best bridal boutique EVER!!!!
I picked my dress in the first visit! They are so talented and knew exactly what I was looking for! (it was actually the first dress I tried on) They showed me so many different styles and pointed out all the differences so i knew what I wanted to lean toward!!
I picked my dressed and had it altered all with in 6 months of getting married!!! They did amazing alterations!!!! I met with a few different women, because I wasn't quite sure what it was that was bugging me about the dress length! They figured it out and had everything done for me perfectly!!!!!!!! I had the best experience working with everyone there!!!!!!
Thank you for making my day perfect! And making me feel like a Princess!!!!
terrible service. I had an 11am appointment, and was made to wait 40 minutes because they were seeing walk-ins!!!!!! NOT GOING BACK.
My dress buying experience here was not bad at all. However, everything after was stressful, and I feel as though I was just lied to repeatedly to make me feel like I shouldn't be stressed. I live out of state, but I'm from Long Island and getting married there. I basically bought a dress and veil in July (thank god it didn't need to be ordered), they took measurements on the top half of the dress to get started on the alterations, and they put it away and forgot about it. I wasn't able to come back until Sept and called Patty telling her I was stressed and she told me not to worry - she said she would contact me in a few days to confirm they could get me in for alterations the following weekend (I told her I was planning on buying plane tickets to come in for measurements but wanted to make sure I could get in). Mind you - this is alteration measurements, nothing crazy. She never called me, so I bought the plane tickets and went home. She then said, oh, next Saturday would work, and then asked if I could come the Saturday AFTER that. I picked up my dress (she told my mom if we bought it in July, alterations would have definitely been started) and it was UNTOUCHED. They also said that they didn't have my veil and that it had to be ordered. I came back a little bit later and said I just wanted a refund on the veil, because I do not trust them, and then she said it had already been ordered and should be there in a week. Never heard from her. Then we heard it would be in this past Wednesday, never heard from her. My parents went in and got a veil yesterday. Like I said, my dress buying experience was not bad, but my words of advice - if you have to order the dress, I'd be careful. If you're lucky enough to walk out with a dress, literally walk out of that place with it and do not have alterations done there. I can understand mistakes or issues with placing orders, but I cannot handle being lied to and having someone tell me not to stress, they have it under control, and have it be the complete opposite.
From the search of the dress. To alterations, to my bridesmaids were a nice experience. I was nervous with some reviews but there are 2 sides to every story. My husband gasped when he saw me. Patty, Donna, Vivian and Tina were absolutely amazing and Donna went out of her way for me, more than once.
A few weeks ago I went to Paradise Bridals looking for wedding shoes. I was planning on saying yes to a dress at another shop but when asked about my dress plans by some of the staff at Paradise I felt comfortable and not pressured...so why not take a look at what they had? I was paired with Matilde who was an absolute SWEETHEART! Even though I kept openly comparing the dresses to "the other dress" at another store, and even though Paradise was closing within the hour, Matilde made me feel like a top priority. She truly listened to my desires and worked hard to pull dresses to my liking, clipped them with precision, showed me how they would look in various lights, and helped find veils to go with each. Although I have chosen the "other dress" from another shop, I wanted to leave a great review for the truly wonderful experience I had because I had read some bad reviews of Paradise before coming and was skeptical...but with Matilde my "let's go see what shoes they have" experience turned into an hour long, truly fantastic bridal gown browsing! Thank you Matilde!
Getting married on Long Island is usually a very big deal. I lived in South Korea and needed to get a dress early on so that I could come back to America right before the wedding without any problems. After trying on six dresses at Paradise Bridal, I found the dress. It was beautiful pink and poofy, exactly what a long Islander would love. As as a woman with a height of 5 foot and 9 inches, I cannot understand how they could have ordered me a petite dress. A month before the wedding I found out that a petite dress was ordered for me and had sat in the shop for a year. A month before the wedding I tried on my dress. It took them over three weeks to get the right dress for me. I was scrambling a week before the wedding to get the correct dress and I was told that a bustle would be put in for free to make up for all of the miscommunications. Little did I know on my wedding day that only half the bustle was made, and thank God my mother was a seamstress so that she could fix it with safety pins. A $2,000 dress with safety pins on my wedding day was not convenient or fun to deal with. This is by far the worst bridal salon I have been to. Stay as far away as possible as you can from Paradise Bridal. Not only will they disappoint you, but they will inconvenience you until the very last minute. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies.
First, try other bridal salons for your wedding dress. If you can’t find a dress after going to a few places, if you must, then try Paradise Bridal. If you find “the dress” here, please follow these steps:
1- Lie about your wedding date so your dress will arrive sooner.
2- Once your dress is in, pick it up & bring it somewhere else for alterations.
3- If you follow all these steps, you won’t have to deal with any extra stress.
I bought & had my alterations here. Paradise Bridal was the first and only place I looked, I wish I would have went to different bridal salons. From my experience and hearing angry brides in the alterations department every time I went, this is the best advice I can give you.
Aylean was absolutely phenomenal seamstress and listened to all of my requests. The actual staff at the front desk once I bought the dress was not as amazing as I had seen them be the day of purchasing my dress. I was first told my dress would be at least three months before but when that time came I received a different number, which was 6-8 weeks before. And I was the one to call and find out this information. I called and the woman said the man there knew exactly which dress I was talking about and hours later my dress was in! What a coincidence. The appointment schedule was not accommodating at all for my teaching schedule and when I was at my first of two final fittings the woman was very rude and only gave me one time option and told me I would have to take off of work again for my second final fitting. I wish I could say I would recommend them but I also got a sneak peak of their disgraceful behavior when my best friend was having her final fitting the year before.
I was hoping to give the benefit of the doubt. 2 other friends purchased from here and 1 had a bad experience the other had a great experience. When it came to looking for the dress they were great! Matilde asked me all the right questions, what I wanted, my style, the venue and she found me the most beautiful dress! My issue is with the alterations. I had to follow up with when my dressed arrived. I had my first fitting, was set for the 2nd fitting 2 weeks later, but the night before they called me at 6pm to tell me they need to change my appt to the following week. When I asked why having 2 weeks between the fitting they had to cancel the night before, they dodged the question. I was also concerned because that made my second fitting 1 week before my wedding. For my final fitting and pick up and now needed to lost work hours because I needed to work around when they had a seamstress. That did not ease my concern with having my dress in on time or completely ready. Luckily my dress was perfect on the wedding day. Unfortunately it was just bad service before
I have such mixed feelings about what to say about this boutique. I had a great experience with all of the salespeople, especially Lolita. she went above and beyond to help me find my dream dress (I can admit I was very picky and she never made me feel like I was as annoying as I probably was lol)She was so sweet and as much as I want to recommend this shop I had a nightmare with my fittings. There was a personal event that caused delays in the alterations department and it was pure chaos there...two weeks before my wedding. Different seamstresses were recruited (to my knowledge) and Botched up my dress. Then their seamstress had to reverse the alterations and needless to say I had to go back and forth about 6 times for my "final" fitting but it wasn't 100% right. On my wedding day my dress really didn't fit right and its obvious in numerous pictures. I don't believe this is their norm so it's hard to bad mouth them. Maria, the seamstress was so wonderful and so was the manager of the shop trying to make right what went wrong. They have the best dress selection, best prices, and best customer service. Luckily, my guests didn't notice my dress didn't fit and the most important thing was my husband's reaction. he said I looked perfect and beautiful in my dress!!
I am shocked to read these other reviews because I had an AMAZING experience finding my gown at Paradise! Patty was so kind and patient and even came in on her day off to help me!! I highly recommend Paradise Bridals! Ask for Patty!!
I ordered a Rina DiMontella dress. Came in on time but when I went for my fitting it had the wrong shawl! The wait on the first fitting was about an hour past scheduled time! On second fitting they had nothing done but hem cut after they told me to go eat and come back because they weren't ready for me and the correct shawl came in but didn't match the color of the dress at all ( different dye lot). Paradise Bridal blamed Rina DiMontella and Rina DiMontella could not furnish me with a matching shawl nor did they compensate me for their error, I paid $1,000.00 for a three piece dress! I could go on and on but bottom line is Don't order from Paradise Bridal OR Rina DiMontella!
absolutely terrible.
i ordered my dress here, and let's just say they were decent up until i paid them.
i should have listened to the people and reviews that said not to go here.
i had my dress, but didn't have my shoes or veil that i had also ordered from paradise until 2 days before my wedding.
i did not have them for either of my 2 fittings.
they also lied to me each time and said that they had them.
then when i was there they had the nerve to ask me why i didn't tell them that i had ordered them.
I DID.
disgusting. poor customer service. I ordered my dress and my bridesmaids dresses, moh dresses a year ago. They kept telling us they would be in 6-8weeks before wedding. We didn't get our dresses till 3 weeks. My shoes came in brand new with a red on it. They order everyone's dresses way to big so we would all have to pay expensive rates in alterations. I will never go here again, never will I recommend this place. VERY disappointed. DON'T go here. You're wasting time.
I met with Charisse and she was awesome! She was so patient and kind and kept in touch with me via text to make sure everything is going smoothly. I was very happy with my experience WITH CHARISSE. If you plan on going there, I would advise you to make an appointment with her. Over the last few months, she would text me to follow up and I would send her dresses I like to see if she could get me a better deal and she was very reasonable and honest with me. She knows what she's doing and she makes it a pleasurable experience and will give you her personal cellphone so you will only have to deal with her. Not any of the "he said she said" and she holds herself accountable. She wants your sale and she wants you to become a happy bride.
Disgusting how my fiancé was just treated at a tux fitting where they got all of the measurements wrong for a wedding he's in on Saturday.. Pretty sure you shouldn't be rude to someone when you are in the wrong ESPECIALLY if you are in customer service.. Soooo glad I didn't get my dress or the tuxes here for our upcoming wedding.. But then again I shouldn't be shocked as clearly there are MANY reviews saying how bad their alterations are! This place should get a clue and fire employees that can't do their job properly or efficiently AND have an attitude problem on top of it! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TERRIBLE
SERVICE AND MORE OF A HEADACHE!
Save yourself the stress & BUY YOUR DRESS ELSEWHERE. I had such a pleasant experience shopping here & trying on dresses that I didn't think twice about ordering it (clearly I did not check the reviews). I was upfront about being an out of state bride & they assured me it would not be an issue. I ordered in January & they told me it would be in by June. June and July came and went- no dress. Then they told me mid August- no dress. I finally had my first fitting in September. Luckily I need very little work. Tried to schedule a second/final fitting for my early November wedding & was passed around, emails & phone calls were not returned, and when I did speak with someone they told me they "did now know their October hours yet." After giving them countless chances to get back to me, and promising they'd contact me this week- my Mom went and picked up the dress without the alterations done. We are bringing it elsewhere so we do not have to deal with them anymore. Beyond the initial choosing of the dress, every other aspect was a nightmare. Avoid this shop if you can.
Worst bridal salon ever! Please brides listen to me and don't go here. So I read the reviews online about paradise and although not great I decide to purchase my dress there because it was so close to my house. It was the first thing I did in May 2015 because I read that some dresses don't come in late at this salon. I figured if I gave them a year and a half they would be able to get my dress in on time. So I did find and purchase my dress here. The worker who helped me was Matilda and she was very nice. Also two of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses here. In January I called and they told me July 2016 my dress and their dresses would be in. This kind of scared me because it only gave us two months before the wedding but I figured it would be ok. I called April, May, June to see if my dress came in early but they always said July. So July rolls around and I call and nothing. Mid July still nothing and I was off and on hold for a half hour before someone came on the line to tell me my dress was back ordered and wouldn't be shipped until August 19th 3 weeks before the wedding! I went into full panic mode. I tried to find my dress on the rack or at other shops because paradise did not give me any confidence that the dress would be there on time. All they said was we never miss a wedding. I gave them a year and 2 months to get that dress there on time. I called every day for a week and still the same story. So I bought a back up dress because I was stressing and nervous. This caused a lot of fights between my family and I because my aunt and dad paid for my original dress. So me and my best friend went in to paradise to yell at them and they were so rude to us and did help us. We finally got the supervisor and she said she just called and my dress was coming in 1 week. She honestly just said that to get us out of the store because my dress did not come In a week. Also my bridesmaids dresses were on back order and they were stressing out and calling paradise. My friend was rudely hung up on as well by patty. Finally my dress did come in mid August and when we were there to pick it up I met a bride who ordered a veil and it wasn't in and it was two days before the wedding. And my dad heard the workers on the phone telling other brides " don't worry we never miss a wedding" so obviously I wasn't the only one they put through this stress! Save yourself the heart ache and stress and buy somewhere else. This was my only vendor they gave me any trouble and I hope they go out of business. Nobody deserves this kind of stress or run around when it comes to your wedding.

I loved my whole experience here. From the first day I was greeted warmly at the door I knew this was my wedding dress place. Everyone treated my family and friends with so much patience and courtesy. Never had a bad fitting day here. They also helped out with all of the accessories, and there are so so many! The dress prices and selection is the best in New York.
They have a huge inventory of wedding gowns but very few white gowns. The few they did have were mediocre. They have an abundance of ivory gowns which of course they could get in white but if you don't find the gown of your dreams and they don't carry it in white, you will buy it in ivory.
It was puzzling why their inventory was weighted that way. A good portion of their gowns had a ton of bling. I was not impressed.
These gals really helped me pick the appropriate tux for the occasion. Tiffany made sure I got all the accessories that I did not know about either. Best price I have found and the best service around for the bride or groom!
My mom and my aunt both purchased their gown from paradise bridals 30 years ago, which shows they know what they are doing! I had a great experience from start to finish with paradise, however I ordered a "custom length and size" dress that was HUGE when it came in. Maria in alterations is a god send, she completely remade my dress to fit me and in the end it was perfect. My bridesmaids all got their dresses and had a great experience here. My groomsmen and husband got their tuxes and had a great experience other then the fact that it's cash only and a lot of our groomsmen live out of state. The only problem we had was the flower girl dress was not sized correctly and the saleswoman tried to blame it on me. However, in the end they were able to fix the dress and it looked absolutely stunning on my flower girl .
Thanks so much to everyone at Paradise. They saved my day at the last minute. Great people who really care about you.
Thank you Paradise Bridal!! Everyone was so amazing!! What a wonderful experience for my daughter, the bride and all the brides maids and maid of honor (my other daughter). The seamstress was so special and fantastic. Would never go any where else! Thank you Rosie and Tiffany!! 10 stars!!!!! XO
