I was referred to DJ Party Pam through my venue. It was important to me to have someone who knew the venue and was familiar with the setup there. In communicating with Pam, she was always very responsive and gave helpful suggestions on how to have a successful party. My mom was turning 80 and Pam told me that she had experience with working parties for that age group. We met via google meet where my mom was able to give her an idea of what kind of music to play. We wanted a mix of oldies but goodies but also music from all the decades. Pam made my mom feel very comfortable as she was nervous about hiring a DJ for her party. But I knew hiring a DJ was vital in having a successful celebration. In the weeks leading up the party, Pam and I stayed in contact in terms of "must-have" songs and the schedule of the party which included toasts and a happy birthday song. I also asked Pam to informally go through some trivia for the year my mom was born to engage the guests during appetizers and dinner. Pam arrived on time and the set-up went smoothly. She is a very personable and friendly person so she was very easy to work with. The schedule went as planned and the songs requested to be played at certain times, were played. I made some last minute changes that she willingly accommodated. At dancing time, many of the guests danced until the end of the party. Pam played music that appealed to everyone, young and old. The party would not have been the celebration it was without the dancing and I am so happy my mom hired Pam. I would not hesitate to have DJ Party Pam DJ my next party in San Diego.
DJ Party Pam is fantastic! She was wonderful to work with as we planned our wedding and on the day-of. The music was exactly what we requested, and our guests were dancing until the very end of the night, just like we wanted! She checked in with us a few times during the reception to make sure everything was how we wanted it, and I felt like she really understood the type of event we were going for. Our guests loved her too - we highly recommend DJ Party Pam!
Pam is a gem. We hired her for a Birthday Party at Marina Village. She did a great job. We will definitely hire her again.
Pam is not a big corporation. She works by herself, so you get a personal touch that is often lacking with other Djs. She asks you what kind of music you like, and tailors her
Pam knows music. Pam knows how to read a crowd. And Pam is a native San Diegan. All this combines to produce to a really fun, lively experience where everyone is engaged for the entire party.

DJ Pam is very professional and self-sufficient. She has an encompassing inventory of songs. I had a Filipino/Mexican Wedding covering all genres and 3 generations, and she played something for everyone and got everybody on the dance floor. Even those Filipino line-dances that I haven't heard for years! My maid-of-honor quoted Rocky Balboa on her speech, and Pam picked up on it and played the Rocky theme song right after the toast, which further hyped up the crowd. Quite impressive! She's amazing. I highly recommend :)
We had Pam DJ/MC our wedding a few weeks ago and she did a fantastic job! DJ Party Pam did an amazing job at our wedding. She was very communicative before the wedding. She perfectly integrated our song requests as well as the crowd's. She kept our wedding on schedule (e.g., introducing the wedding party, announcing the toast/speeches, leading the garter toss/bouquet toss, etc.) but still read the room when certain activities were appropriate. Party Pam was fantastic! We had an anniversary event with ages ranging from the 20's to the 80's. Pam kept everyone dancing for hours and did a great job of picking the music we wanted covering decades of styles. She was easy to work with, very professional and helped make the evening awesome. My wife learned about this service through her eyelash lady who said she had a great time at a wedding she attended. Fast forward to our wedding celebration and we do not share the same sentiment others offered here. We felt there was a severe lacking in feeling like any sort of DJ was at our event. We don't doubt DJ Pam is a great person and good at what she does for the right interested party. Her communication and checking in leading up to the event was superb and she was very professional. However, we do take fault, as we should have gone with our gut and known it wasn't going to be what we were looking for. There wasn't really any MC'ing or obvious attempts to get the crowd involved. I guess we were looking for something a little more hyped and rhythmic. Sure, there were a handful of songs that sufficed but, as a whole, this was the only service our attendees didn't offer any praise for. There was ONE party who is in their mid-to-late 60s that thought she was great. Anyway, we decided to leave a review primarily due to the fact we are now curious how many other reviews there would be if people didn't follow her request to solely reach out directly via email if they "did not have a 5 star experience". Also, I'm sure there will be some sort of reply left to my review since I'm going against protocol here. If so, I will not be replying and have nothing else to offer up (took away a star for her emailing me back when the one elderly couple reached out for her services).

Pam was the DJ for a women's group in Mission Beach and was awesome. It was a Mexican Fiesta and she started out with Mexican music, then went to dance music when the crowd was ready to dance. Nearly everyone was on the floor dancing having a blast. One gal turned 88 the next day and Pam played a fun song and we all gathered around the 88 year old (who was also dancing) and circled her with love. It was a super fun event - in large part due to DJ Pam. I would high recommend her and would hire her again in a minute!

Our wedding playlist went off without a hitch. She coordinated with us prior to the big day to make sure all of our requests were met. We hired DJ Party Pam for a New Year's Eve celebration at a retirement community and the residents and I absolutely LOVED HER!
From the moment I was looking for a DJ to the day of the event, Pam was exceptionally thorough, professional, personable and so easy to work with. She didn't need to stick to a set list like a few other entertainers do and she intuitively read what our crowd wanted to hear. To my surprise, our 85-yr.-old average age group of residents were up and dancing for most of the evening to up-tempo music! She was even on the dance floor leading the steps to a number of line dances. As an added and unexpected bonus, she helped take photos of our residents since I was too busy to do so myself.
We couldn't ask for anything more from a DJ and what a great evening it was thanks to her. We already have her in mind for other events this year...and hope that she might be available next NYE!
DJ Party Pam was our wedding DJ last December. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. She helped us greatly with our timeline and gave suggestions based on her experience. She truly got to know us before the wedding instead of just sending us a contract to fill out like other DJs we spoke to did. We booked DJ Pam after a recommendation from a close friend. After our first call, we knew immediately that she was the perfect fit for our wedding. We loved her vibe and years of experience. Pam literally saved my wedding! She did her best to make me feel special and that it was my day. My husband and I have worked really hard to try to create a beautiful wedding since we got married during covid and the hall we booked was unorganized but we weren’t able to receive any refund and would cost us more to cancel. She followed the schedule timely where I was surprised how much I danced with heels and being pregnant the whole night! Everyone loved the music and it felt like she just made everything better and fun. She worried about my needs to make sure everything flowed the way I wanted to and so it made me feel nice someone was asking how I was doing with things going on. She’s amazing at what she does and will always book her for big events.

We loved Party Pam!! She was so much fun to work with, and she made our wedding reception a huge success. Her upbeat and bubbly personality made everyone feel at ease and in the mood to dance! She did a great job of choosing songs that matched our preferences, and she helped with coordinating the flow of events. She even helped us with playing a video and slideshow before and during the dinner. Everyone had a great time and danced until it was time to clean up at 11pm! As an added bonus, she brought her own camera and took photos after our photographer left about halfway through the reception. We highly recommend her for any type of event. We hired Pam for our wedding reception this August 2022. From the very beginning, I knew she was the right choice! Every time I needed to talk to her, she did not hesitate to hop on a phone call or answer my messages! She has extensive DJ experience, and every time I asked her for advice, she knew what to say. I could tell that she truly cared about making sure we had the reception we dreamed of throughout the planning process. At the reception, she did AMAZING! Not once was there an awkward pause or weird moment. We had our reception at church, so we needed to keep things clean. Dj party Pam helped to make our event better than we could have expected. We had to plan our daughters wedding from across the country and trust that the vendors we picked would show up and provide the entertainment we wished for. DJ party Pam exceeded our expectations. She was kind, fun , professionally and made it feel like it was a long time friend that knew us all running the show. We all loved her and would highly recommend her ! Pam was with us through the entire process and spent time on FaceTime making sure she got to know the bride and groom as well as us as parents. Our bride and groom were so pleased with Pam. 10 out of 10 or 5 stars ⭐️
We planned a 25th Wedding Anniversary party and Pam was recommended to us so I thought I would ask for a quote. She got back to me immediately (unlike some others). I sent her a list of music so she would get an idea of what we wanted and she was totally there. We did a lot of communicating via email and that was also a pleasant experience. We met over Zoom a couple of weeks beforehand to get to know each other's faces and clarify that we were all on the same page. Even with all this, I wasn't prepared for how the actual event went. To put it succinctly, Pam is just awesome. She absolutely rolled with our requests and more than once played stuff like she was reading our minds. She is very personable and knows how to read a room. She has a Bose sound system that was stupendous. All in all, rather than hiring a DJ, I felt like I invited a close friend who totally gets our taste in music. I would ask her again in a hot minute.
DJ Party Pam was amazing! My wife and I recommend her to any couple planning to tie the knot. She is very flexible to work with and has a lot of helpful suggestions from all her experience. We were not on top of picking our important songs, like our first dance, father-daughter, mother-son, etcetera; however, she made it happen with our last minute song selections and it turned out perfect. Party Pam has a vast and diverse collection and it showed on the dance floor. We had a mixed group of people from different backgrounds who listen to different genres, yet almost all of our guests (150) were on the dance floor the entire night! She pleasantly surprised us with a creative twist on the garter toss and bouquet toss, adding to the great night everyone had. Multiple guests came up to us and told us, "This is best wedding I've ever been to!". As the very nervous mother of the bride, Pams confidence, calmness and excitement was a breath of fresh air. I did not know what to expect, but knew she would make it a fun and exciting night. Her personality is so bubbly and contagious. More importantly she is extremely organized and kept the wedding on schedule! Pam DJ'ed my mom's 60th birthday party and everyone had an absolute blast! She was prompt and clear in her communication and very easy to work with - set up/tear down was a breeze and she brought great additional lighting to add some extra sparkle. Pam was our DJ at a recent Board installation/dinner dance for one of the professional business associations I manage. She was completely set up and makin’ music from the time we arrived. Pam is an amazing DJ. The music was spot on and everyone had so much fun on the dance floor. She will make your event very enjoyable. DJ Pam was very professional. I hired her for my daughter's 18th birthday party (debut). She is very reliable and always took time to answer my questions. She always keep the communication open which is very important when you are planning for a party. She was very kind to my daughter and overall helped make the party great. DJ Pam is the greatest DJ in Southern California. I just got married and and from the first conversation we had I knew she was the DJ I was looking for. Hire Party Pam NOW! My wedding was 4 days ago, and we're already trying to figure out if there's another event we can have DJ Party Pam at - she's that good!! She made our wedding day so much fun and run so smoothly. We had to delay our ceremony for an hour because of an outside issue, and Party Pam kept our guests having fun while they waited. We had guests ranging from 5 years old to 89 years old, and everyone was out on the dance floor! That's not an easy feat! She was such an amazing part of our wedding, and we couldn't recommend her more!

We attended a wedding 2 years ago where she was the DJ and it was the best party ever, so naturally when we got engaged last year she was the first vendor we booked, it was a no brainer. DJ Party Pam serviced our wedding at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, and she was fantastic! We actually booked her way back in 2019 (actual wedding turned out to be 8/2021 due to pandemic reschedule). She made the entire process so easy. Her responses to our questions were always so quick and thorough. She even let us make several changes the week of! On the actual wedding day, she helped make sure we were prompt on schedule, seamlessly transitioning between the different tasks - wedding party announcements, speeches, dancing, etc. However, the best part about her is simply that she’s FUN! So many of our guests have compliments on how great she was making sure everyone had a good time and the dance floor was being utilized. She took requests from guests, let us add a money dance on last minute - I even spotted her dancing with a few guests. I’m so glad we found her early on in our wedding planning process because she is a gem to have on your team on your big day. I highly recommend her to anyone in the socal area.
We and all our gusts loved Party Pam! She did an awesome job throughout the night. I really enjoyed working with her, especially leading up to our wedding. She spent about an hour on the phone with me asking about us, what we want our wedding to look like, etc. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to have a great time at their reception! Pam was exceptionally easy to work with from the get go - from the initial meeting to working with my son and his fiancé (online) to come up with the music list and timelines . Due to COVID, we never met in person until the day of the wedding, but yet her personality, passion and professionalism for the work she does shined thru and put all of us involved with the planning at ease. My son's informal, yet delightful wedding was a great success! She came to the venue well prepared and really had the event moving along smoothly the whole time. DJ Party Pam is amazing! We knew she was going to be our DJ from the moment we met her. Seriously, one call and we stopped looking for another DJ. She is an all in one package - not only does she do an amazing job at DJing but she also helped coordinate with our other vendors, usher our guests to the right place, and took awesome photos! She took the stress out of choosing music that would make people dance, all we had to do was give her genres and bands we liked and she took care of the rest. We had 2 locations, an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and Pam was amazing for both. She took care of every single detail, and really made the whole day such a magical experience. She made the moments like the cake cutting, and the bouquet toss so much better - really great at remembering little things my wife and I forgot about on our big day! At our reception, the venue lost power during our first dance and Pam took it all in stride. She had a backup portable speaker ready to keep the party going! I attended a wedding of a dear friend 2 years ago with Party Pam as the DJ and once I got engaged she was the obvious choice! She comes prepared. Set up our ceremony mics right away. Worked well with out live musicians that provided pre-ceremony music. Was an all around team player! Had great feel for event timing and most importantly lead an EPIC dance party! A complete pleasure to work with.

In my opinion, your choice of DJ is the most important decision for a wedding/event. My husband and I chose Party Pam as our wedding DJ because we knew that she is the one DJ in San Diego that can keep the party going, dance along with us, and make sure our vision for the feeling of our wedding was perfect. She was a master at AV for our ceremony and then did an INCREDIBLE job getting people on the dance floor. I have been to SO many weddings where getting people on the dance floor is like pulling teeth, but Party Pam kept it going so well that people refused to GET OFF! We had DJ Party Pam for our wedding and she was amazing! During the event, she checked in on us to see how we were doing and if we needed anything that she could help with, she played music that kept people of all ages on the dance floor, and she was so full of life and energy that she kept the party going all night. Throughout the night, she incorporated our song choices, song choices that would definitely bring out more people to the dance floor, and guest song choices. In one instance, a guest requested an obscure song that the guest had on her iPhone and Pam was ready with an aux cord to play the song off the guest's phone! I would highly recommend having DJ Party Pam at your next event. She is kind, professional, accommodating, and will get the party started and keep it going!
I'll try to not just echo all the other great reviews. But that will be tough because she was great at our back yard wedding. A great communicator. Polite and respectful. Respectful of how we wanted her role to be and of our music selection. She even chipped in respectfully when a mishap happened with our bartender and falling champagne glasses. Her help on the dance floor with a line dance was especially unexpected and appreciated. VERY nice sound system. Thank you Pam!!
Do yourself a huge favor and hire this DJ! Party Pam was SO amazing from our first conversation to the last goodbye hug. She really got to know me and my partner before even getting to any specifics on day of necessities or pricing which we really appreciated. While we got caught up in our busy lives outside of planning she sent us friendly and professional reminders of what she needed (thank you!) and even took a list of songs that were "must plays" for the day. By the end of the night the entire dance floor was chanting, "PARTY PAM! PARTY PAM!" which should certainly tell you something!! My family has already been thinking of the next event we will hire her for.

She's AMAZING! We gave her lists of songs we wanted played and specific genres and she kept to them! Everyone loved her outgoing personality meeting and greeting and letting guests know who list it was from. I will definitely use her again in the future, if needed.
DJ Party Pam is phenomenal! From the moment we met her, I knew she was our DJ! She is very professional, kind, and very helpful. Choosing music can be overwhelming and she really helped us in areas where I just didn't know what songs I wanted. I had a smaller wedding (75 people) and was worried it might get a bit boring because of the size, and was worried people wouldn't dance--but they did! A lot! She knows how to read a crowd and makes the best choices.
We had 2 locations, an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and Pam was amazing for both. She took care of every single detail, and really made the whole day such a magical experience. Having a great dance party was at the top of the wedding priority list for my husband and I, and we hands down have DJ Party Pam to thank for making our dreams come true! I met Party Pam 6 years ago and we worked together at a charity fashion show, where I was instantly captured by her energy, enthusiasm, and LOVE for music! When it came time to plan our wedding, Party Pam was the first person I reached out to, and she more than delivered. Not only does she take the initiative to gather important information to keep you on track (song choices, grand entrance order, etc.), but she makes sure everything is set up and running smoothly the entire event.
By the end of the night, we had "Party Pam" chants roaring from the crowd - she was a total hit with our entire party. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much, and right after we cut the cake I turned around and the dance floor was already flooded with people! I cannot say enough positive things about the service we received from Pam. We planned our wedding from Ohio.... it was a long distance destination wedding. We found Pam - and everything just synched together. She was very professional, but more importantly very personable. She wanted to make sure that she was the right fit for our venue - not just 'take a job'. We spoke on the phone and got to know each others needs, emailed details, and finally met on the day of our ceremony. I had ZERO stress about our wedding day. Pam's ability, talents, and desire for all to have a good time were more than we could have asked for. She was personable and able to make our wedding 'Ours'. I will never forget when the party was over, the lights came on, and all I could here from the crowd was "ohhhhhh..." She could have kept the party going all night! Thank You Pam.
Pam had a table at the Admiral Baker Catering Fair. We were so excited after meeting her! I was nervous meeting all our vendors because I wanted to make sure we were making the right decision for the wedding, not just the budget. Thank goodness Pam was the right decision for both. We did our research and saw all her reviews and could not believe that she had all 5-star reviews. It was very impressive.
My now husband is in the Navy so having the wedding on a military base threw a few extra obstacles in for me (I didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator), but because she's worked on the base before, she was way ahead of me on what we needed her to do. She was very supportive through the whole process.
Day-of she was a superstar. I realized I hadn't requested certain music right before the ceremony but she rolled with it when my bridesmaids came rushing down with little notes from me. My maid of honor was essentially my day-of coordinator, and Pam was very helpful in directing her and the wedding party as well as keeping the guests entertained. She was definitely vital in making our wedding day run so smooth!

I booked Party Pam for my wedding at the Oceanview Room on a military base and I had no worries on her following base policies and her quality work as a DJ. She is very responsive and easy to communicate with with. She makes the process of all the info she needs very simple and easy to understand. She's also super sweet and fun and loved that she even came out and danced for a sec during the reception! I'm glad I went with my instincts with picking Pam as my DJ. She's very fun and professional, and you won't regret picking her as your DJ.

Where to begin? Pam was AMAZING!! She showed up early and talked to me and asked if there was anything that I needed. We also added the song that the bride wanted to walk down the aisle like 30 min before the ceremony and she did it!!!
