Party Pleasers - DJ/MC, Lighting, Decor & Photo Booths

We absolutely could not have asked for a better experience than working with party pleasers for our wedding. Our DJ, Aaron, knocked it out of the park not only on our wedding day, but was so communicative with us in the process beforehand as well. I don’t think we realized just how imperative having an experienced DJ was until we were actually at our wedding and he made the whole day run so smoothly. He was amazing with our timeline and made sure to check in when needed but not too much. The music was fantastic and we danced the night away. We absolutely recommend Party Pleasers as a company and loved working with Aaron specifically. 10/10 experience.

We were both super stressed about finding a DJ for our wedding and ended up talking with some of the staff from Party Pleasers at a Wedding/Bridal show some months before our date. The pricing/package structure was very helpful in keeping things simple. After booking, our DJ, Brendan Eveslage, was assigned to us. Brendan was awesome! He was punctual, organized, professional, but also personable. We had what some may consider an "interesting" mix of music wants, but Brendan was able to flow through all of it perfectly. We told him to feel free to add his own ideas to the mix and he didn't disappoint. The vibe the entire night was perfect and we all had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with DJ Joshua M. for our wedding in August, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, Joshua was incredibly professional, making the planning process seamless and stress-free. He took the time to understand our preferences, from the music genres we love to the vibe we wanted for each part of the day. On the big day, Joshua truly exceeded our expectations. He kept everything running smoothly and ensured that the energy stayed high from start to finish. The timing of the music was spot on, and he did an amazing job of reading the crowd—knowing exactly when to pump up the energy and when to slow things down. Our guests were on the dance floor all night, and we received so many compliments on how great the music was! What really stood out was Joshua’s professionalism. He arrived early, was well-prepared, and made sure everything was set up well in advance so there was no stress. His communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and he was always approachable, friendly, and accommodating to any last-minute requests. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to help make our wedding day unforgettable. If you’re looking for someone who is not only talented but also reliable and easy to work with, Joshua M. is the one to hire. We highly recommend him for any event, and we’re so grateful for the amazing job he did at our wedding!

We LOVED working with Party Pleasers for our wedding! We met Jeff at a Bridal show and he made booking our wedding so quick and easy right then and there! Jeff and his team were so easy to work with, super accommodating, and quick to respond. Our DJ, Jon Grice, was PHENOMENAL. We had met him when he DJ'd a friends wedding and KNEW we had to have him for our wedding! He was so kind leading up to the wedding and made set up and music planning a breeze! The night of the wedding, he was was so up beat, read the room as it ebbed and flowed, and was able to corral people from around the reception so we could get "back on schedule" for our dances as speeches went long. He also made sure include our song requests and did an amazing job mixing/making smooth transitions between songs! I can't say enough great things about DJ Jon and Party Pleasers. 10/10 would recommend in a heart beat!!!

Jeffy J (Jeff Heidelberg) was the best! He kept the party going all night! The only time people left the dance floor was to grab a drink.

I know this is a long review but PLEASE read it in its entirety and be aware. I've written this review multiple times and ran out of character space because there is so much to say. The initial communication was great for booking with the company but there was no follow-up afterwards and you essentially do all the planning yourself via the Vibo app. This would have been fine had we had a DJ that communicated with us from the beginning. Our DJ was assigned on the app but never reached out to us. My husband had to contact the company for him to finally touch base. Robert Soto was our DJ and I have no idea how he even got into the field, to be entirely honest. He was unprofessional over the phone, burped during our first ever phone call, told me he didn't feel comfortable DJing an event that could potentially have family drama after I explained not doing parent intros per their request/bridal party layout, and joked about what is now my new last name. During our final phone call, he asked about a timeline as I was listing specific times for dances, etc. and I told him I sent him the same timeline that my photographer, videographer, and event coordinator had. He laughed and told me he "was going to be honest" and that he didn't look at it. We were one week out from the wedding at that point. On the wedding day, the ceremony went perfectly but the entire reception was a mess thanks to Robert. While I was getting bustled for the bridal party intro, he sat in the lobby with our bridal party and deep sighed while looking at the ceiling because he was waiting on me. During the reception, he had the speakers all the way up so the music was insanely loud and guests commented on it. My husband's and my first dance was perfect but he played the wrong song for my father-daughter dance (the song was Best Parts of Me by Will Dempsey) and instead he played Beat You There by the same artist which is literally a funeral song about death. I stopped the dance to correct him because I was embarrassed and upset. He then told me in a completely silent room in front of all our guests that I was wrong and that was the song I put in the app for him (which it wasn't and I have the screenshots to prove it). We spent so much time and money planning for Robert to be careless and not review our song selections. One of the speakers ended up going out completely, he never really MC'd or directed anything (my husband and I had to keep going up and telling him to do the next thing because he sat on his phone the whole time with whoever the other guy was that came with him who also did nothing but got a free dinner to sit), then supposedly his computer died and got the blue screen so we had no music for about 10ish minutes. Guests left within that time and open dancing didn't even happen. When he got music going, only our family was there to dance. He asked about the bouquet and garter toss when the only guests left were our parents and siblings so we told him to forget it. We cut him an hour early because he was so awful. We contacted Party Pleasers and Nick was exceptionally helpful and apologetic. While we'll never forget the mess that was our reception, Nick refunded our entire reception cost because we did not receive the services we were promised upon booking and certainly didn't get a master DJ. He also informed us that Robert had to redo all his training and was released from future weddings. If Robert Soto ever is scheduled to DJ your wedding, demand a new DJ.

Rett was our DJ and he was fantastic. We had some issues with our venue not upholding plans and details previously agreed upon, but Rett went with the flow and still made our wedding the perfect day. The meeting we had before the wedding was especially helpful in making sure that he didn’t play certain genres and songs and that he did play our favorites.

Highly recommend Party Pleasers for a wedding DJ. We had Jeff as our Master DJ and he was awesome!! Our main request was to play music that would get everyone (no matter the age) up and dancing and Jeff did just that!! He went above and beyond on our wedding day. If you are booking with Party Pleasers (which you should) ask for Master DJ Jeff!!

Having Greg as our DJ was one of the highlights of our wedding. He was absolutely excellent. Not only is he kind, funny, and extremely organized, but he took the time to get to know us and made this a very personalized experience. He’s an expert at what he does, and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Greg! As for Party Pleasers in general, everything was great. The app they use to organize the music and timeline is really easy to navigate. They offer a variety of different packages, and even decorations. The bistro lights and cold spark fountains we added were perfect and helped complete my vision. It was everything I could’ve asked for! Overall, very satisfied. Highly recommend!

Josh McClintock was the DJ for our wedding! My husband and I could not have asked for a better DJ for our night. Party Pleasers picked the best person for the job. Josh made sure our night went off perfectly and catered to our every need and request. He came prepared and kept the night alive just the way we wanted. We could not have had a more perfect person for the job. His energy and workmanship were unmatched. I would recommend Josh to anyone looking for a fantastic and fun DJ. We loved our experience with Party Pleasers, and are so glad that they were part of our wedding day! JeffyJ helped us with the BEST lighting and decor, and Jon was an AMAZING DJ! He kept the party going all night long, which is exactly what we wanted! I'm sure all of their DJs are great, but the experience was well worth the price for a Master DJ if you ask me. We learned the hard way with other wedding vendors that not all vendors are created equal. Party Pleasers is a vendor that genuinely made our lives easier as we planned our wedding & made our wedding day better and more fun than we even imagined, We 10/10 recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!

Jeff was amazing!! We couldn’t have asked for a better day or a more fun dance floor. We’ve gotten soo many compliments from friends and family about how great the music was the whole night. The dance floor was never empty and that’s exactly what we wanted! Jeff took our requests and made the ultimate playlist with some remixes which was great, he didn’t just play the songs as is - he made them better. Can’t recommend Jeff & Party Pleasers enough!

Party pleasers was very communicative when planning the wedding. We were also very impressed with the organization they had for our wedding timeline with the Vibo app. Although, for those of you who end up with Party Pleasers, not all DJs at this company are as great as the reviews make it seem. We booked Party Pleasers based on reviews, and an amazing experience at one of our friends weddings, to the point we paid a slight premium for this service. Our DJ was changed a week before the wedding to DJ Josh, and I DO NOT reccomend him at all. We were already unsure as no reviews on Google or The Knot had mentions of this DJ. We had both the Vibo app fully filled out with all details, songs shoutouts etc, and also shared a day-of timeline with the DJ that our coordinator had created. Almost all of that was work that went into the trash as the DJ did not follow any of that. I know weddings do not go off perfectly, but there were way too many issues that I wanted to share: -Messed up the reverse anniversary dance and started off with the normal anniversary dance, confusing attendees -Incorrect dance floor kick off - the DJ played our closing song as the first song -Incorrect last song - DJ played a random song -No shoutouts that we had instructed (friends & family birthdays) -No MCing, I did not hear the DJ speak at all. He just played a random playlist it seems (not ours) the whole time. -Songs in the "Must Play" did not get played -Multiple audio mishaps where volume would go to 100% for no reason then back down -Brought his son to our wedding without informing anyone - this confused our planners, and the reception venue -Transitions did not exist, the DJ played every song beggining to end. After speaking with our coordinator, she also mentioned that DJ Josh was extremely unprofessional, by bringing unsolicited complaints to the groom and bride (which he did), as well as acting suprised when details from the planning meetings were discussed again. From both our perspective, and our coordinators, we are extremelly dissapointed in the service we recieved from Party Pleasers, so I encourage all who book, to be aware that regardless of all the great DJs that are at Party Pleasers, there is still the chance of getting one that has no idea what they are doing.

Will Gaines with Party Pleasers was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He made our wedding the best party ever! He was easy to communicate with and handled all of our requests and last minute changes perfectly. We would recommend Will and Party Pleasers to anyone and if we ever need a DJ in the future, they will be our first call.

From communication to organization and playing the music for our event, he was hands down the most fun to work with throughout our wedding planning. Aaron was our DJ, and he was so communicative with us and ran our wedding beautifully. The ceremony was timed excellently, and the dance floor was so much fun. The planning app also made it so fun and easy to prep for the wedding! Thank you so much!

I am sure the whole team is amazing but I have to gush about our DJ. Our Wedding was near Columbus and Nick our DJ was amazing. He had so many creative ideas to add flair to the party. He was prompt, professional, worked well with our other vendors and did not disappoint when allowed creative authority. The Photo Booth was also a hot commodity at our wedding. Our guests loved it and had a great time!! If you get a DJ other than Nick from this team for a wedding I HIGHLY recommend requesting the photobomb challenge. Our pricing included lighting, decorations, DJ services and equipment rentals for ceremony and reception, and the Photo Booth You can't go wrong with this team!

DJ Rett Genatempo was amazing. We had several meetings to make sure the schedule for our fundraiser would be perfect but do to rain we had to change things at the last minute. DJ Rett was able to change things on the fly and everything went perfectly. He was also really good at speaking to the large crowd and keeping everything exciting during the event. A true professional

We used DJ: Jeffy J, and we couldn't be happier. We are still hearing how amazing he was, how he was the best wedding DJ people have ever seen, how well paced he kept the evening, and we didnt even have to worry about anything. He was the best and we would 100% reccommend him and party pleasures to anyone and everyone.

Our DJ was a pro and absolutely made our wedding night amazing! We also booked a photo-booth through Party Pleasers and it was a hit! Our guests had the time of their lives because the DJ brought the fun and energy with everything he did! Couldn’t be happier to have worked with them.

Our DJ was great to work with and really attentive - the lighting was great and sound was at a good volume for the different parts of the night. The transitions between songs on the dance floor could have been smoother and there were a few moments where the DJ made announcements or asked questions at awkward times (ex. announcing the guest book and bar right after an emotional toast, asking for a review after an emotional private last dance)

Cannot say enough good things about Jeff Heidelberg! DJ Jeffy J was incredible and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We met him at the Wendy's Bridal Show and knew we needed his kind, upbeat energy at our wedding. The pre-wedding communication and planning was very thorough, so I knew that the timeline and playlist were going to be exactly how I wanted. Our guests had a blast! We also used Party Pleasers for our monogram in lights above the bar. It looked great!

Greg and Jaden were fantastic DJs for me and my husbands wedding in July. When we first met Greg he was incredibly kind and very detail oriented so I knew we were in good hands! Throughout the whole day Greg was focused on making the ceremony and reception perfect. He had great timing and kept the guests engaged from the moment they entered the venue to the moment they left. Greg made sure to pronounce every name in the bridal party correctly and walked through the grand entrance with the whole party a few minutes before it happened so it would run smoothly. When our grand exit was stalled, Greg and Jaden kept the crowd engaged and kept everything running smoothly! But what really took the cake is when both gentlemen carried our plates through the buffet line so my husbands suit and my dress would not get dirty. I would highly recommend these gentlemen when planning a wedding as they are a big reason as to why ours was so perfect!

Will was very friendly, responsive and paid great attention to detail in the times we met with him before our wedding. On wedding day, he was extremely professional, punctual, and followed through with all of our requests. A few people have told us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to, and this has so much to do with Will and how great he is at his job!!! I highly recommend him when considering a DJ for your wedding. We were also very happy with the lighting and ceiling swag decor and the decor team was awesome with that. In terms of our satisfaction with Party Pleasers in general, we were a bit disappointed in the planning and communication leading up to the wedding, however, this has nothing to do with Will and how great of a DJ he is!!!

We had DJ Spyder -AKA Gil as our wedding DJ and he was AMAZING!!!! We had so much fun and he matched the EXACT vibe we were going for!!!

We absolutely loved working with Party Pleasers! They're reasonably priced and easy to work with. Brendan went above and beyond on our wedding day and we had a great time. I loved the system they use to upload your music selections and build your timeline-- it made everything flow seamlessly. I cannot count the number of compliments we received on our Dj. Very professional, courteous, and fun to work with. They gave us great suggestions during all the pre-wedding meetings and made sure they had all the details for entrance/first dance songs, what not to play, and the style of music we wanted for dinner and dancing. The photo booth added even more fun to the reception. I'd definitely use them again!!

We had the best experience working with DJ Nick Wright! He went above and beyond to make sure our wedding ceremony and reception were perfect, and our dance floor was packed all night! We got our DJ & Photo Booth through Party Pleasers. The DJ did a wonderful job - we had guests coming up to us afterwards to let us know how much they loved the vibes. We also LOVED our photo booth photos and all. We did expect to hear from our DJ sooner than we did, but everything worked out in the end. I also loved being able to directly pick music played during dinner and other big moments.

We cannot say enough good things about working with Brendan! From our first meeting, Brendan was curious and engaged with both of our cultures to make our Indian-American wedding run smoothly. Our guests were raving about our music, and Brendan checked in with us throughout the evening to make sure things were running smoothly. He helped to keep us on track with our timeline. Will Gaines was awesome from start to finish! He was always quick to respond and really dove into our wants/needs for the big day!!! He KILLED it and our guests said how much they loved the music too. One thing that really stuck out was that Will was doing anything/everything to make sure this day was easy and smooth for us. He checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying the music, etc. Another thing that stood out to us is his zero pressure into upgrading but he suggested upgrading to have basic lighting and definitely couldn't have imagined NOT having it. Will was super down to earth and just overall chill and ready for a good time. We thoroughly enjoyed not only his DJ services but getting to know him! Will kept the party going and even re-played our last song when it was quittin time because we missed it the first time! Truly from start to finish, I knew the one thing has a bride (which is huge) that I didn't have to worry about is our DJ. WILL IS AMAZING. Tell him what you want and he WILL deliver.

Our DJ was Nick Wright and he was amazing. He took great care of us and made our wedding so special. He continually checked in on us. Communication was great. He had the dance floor bumping the whole night. Everyone had so much fun.

Couldn’t be happier to have had Party Pleasers as my DJ and decor company! Brendan Eveslage did a phenomenal job DJing our wedding. Everything went off without a hitch! He was so kind, and attentive to all the little details of our day, even encouraging our guests to participate with our audio guest book, and sip and solve! We had such a wide variety of ages, and there was never a moment our dance floor was empty!!! Once the party started, the energy only continued to grow through the evening! They also provided wall drapery, ceiling drapery, and multiple monograms for our wedding, and it perfectly tied together our space! My husband and I got married in November 2023 and chose Party Pleasers for DJ services for our event. Though the company itself is large, we had Brendan Eveslage as our DJ who went above and beyond to check in on us and made us feel comfortable and happy on our big day. He made us feel as if we were his only clients - with checking in and providing great advice catered to our needs. We loved Brendan! He is highly recommended and did a phenomenal job during planning process and the day of the wedding. 10/10 we would recommended party pleasers and specifically Brendan!:) thank you for all you have done!
