ce. This was going to be a destination for all of our guests including us to travel to, and even though we talked it up prior to the wedding - it surpassed our and our guests' expectations. Throughout the entire planning process Jill & Angie went above and beyond to make us feel special and answer our many many questions. During our wedding weekend in October, from the day we arrived in Petoskey - every need, every item was handled top to bottom by the Perry Hotel. We knew we were in the best hands, and didn't need to worry about a thing for the wedding - so we were able to just be in the moment the entire weekend and just enjoy. We rented the Perry House for the weekend which truly made the weekend even more special, and would highly recommend for any other weddings. It was a great space to get ready in morning of for both the girls and guys, allowed for a beautiful backdrop to sign our Ketubah, and was a perfect space to be able to connect and play games with friends and family in the evenings after very full days. Now, a few months months after our wedding, we still think back to that weekend. The weather, the service, the venue, the accommodations— the view! Our wedding weekend could not have been more perfect (truly how all of our guests continue to describe it) or special, and that is directly because of the amazing staff at the Perry hotel. Thank you so much again for helping us make a magical weekend for everyone there. We love the Perry and can't wait to come back and visit!

ess gave me the comfort level I needed that the entire day would go smoothly and it definitely did! This is by far the best place to have a wedding if you want to capture the beauty of northern Michigan and have lodging, shops, restaurants all within walking distance. The Perry is the way to go!

ose Garden Veranda. Angie, Jill, and Lindsey were an absolutely incredible team. This team along with all of the other staff at the Perry made our wedding an absolute masterpiece. From day 1 Angie, Jill, and Lindsey made us feel like we were the only couple we were working with and our wedding was a number one priority for them. They worked hand-in-hand with all of our vendors to manage logistics and guided us through every step of the process. These are not just day-of coordinators. I could print out hundreds of pages of email exchanges between us and Angie/Jill/Angie helping us source rentals, choose vendors, customize meals, and making sure that every detail was perfect in the months leading up to the wedding. You get so much more from this team than just a day-of coordinator. The three were our heros! The Perry itself is an absolutely stunning, very walking property, and they are very flexible about what they'll allow you to do aesthetically with the space. The really keep up with all of the maintenance and the landscaping is pristine. The rooms at the hotel were beautiful, and tastefully historic with updated modern touches. The Perry is very accommodating to its couples in terms of the room blocks. They start you with 15 rooms and as guests book they add more if they need to at a discounted rate. No down payment required from the couple. The food was simply delicious and the culinary team at the Perry does an amazing job with customizing a menu for your event. During our tasting the chef and Jill/Lindsey wanted to get ALL of our feedback to make sure they could make any revisions to the dishes that we wanted. This was extremely important because we needed to accommodate various dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, dairy free, allergies, etc.). Want to change the parmesan crust to pistachio crust on the walleye? Done. Want to make the mashed potatoes with dairy free butter and add more salt? Done. Want to have them develop some custom vegan desserts? Done. The customization was incredible and the food turned out fantastic. The staffing at the reception and ceremony was over the top! Two bartenders at each bar, SO many waitstaff, etc. Timing and quality of service was great. The staff were also SO friendly and kind! Angie and her team went above and beyond for us. Their planning and strict timelines held everyone accountable to the timeline. I didn't really even talk to my vendors the day of because Angie and Lindsey managed all of that. They were ON TOP of it! I really could go on and on about how fantastic the Perry was, but it really was the incredible staff that made this our dream wedding. These are VERY good people and they know what they're doing. They'll be super honest with you and you'll have a laugh in the meantime. Before I walked down the aisle I was standing in the hallway a little bit nervous and Angie saw the look in my eyes and asked "What do you need? What can I do?" and all I had to say was "sauvignon blanc" and she was back with a full glass in hand in 2 minutes to send me on my way down the aisle to get married. We have so much love in our hearts for the fantastic people at the Perry, and we can't wait to come back for anniversaries. If you're thinking about having your wedding here, just do it. to finish, the whole process was professional, hospitable and extraordinary. The Perry event coordinators were amazing and detail oriented. Any time I had a question during the planning process, it was answered promptly and transparently. The day of, we arrived at the end of cocktail hour. The serving staff saved a plate of appetizers for our wedding party for us to eat while guests were taking their seats for our grand entrance. A server took my bouquet and placed it on our table so I didn’t have to carry it. The serving staff was so kind and professional. As I was saying, every detail was thought through! If you are looking for a truly top-notch venue for your big day, I highly recommend the Perry Hotel. It has everything you could imagine. Beautiful views, great location, amazing staff, good food and drinks. And, all your guests can stay right there. A huge thank you to Jill, Angie, Winston and all the Perry staff for making our day extra special!!!

about The Perry, the wedding industry, local vendors, etc. and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her on our big day. We did not hire a planner and having her as the day-of coordinator was a lifesaver. She kept everyone on time, calm (including when I forgot my veil AS I was walking down the aisle), and having fun. Jill was a great help with all my catering questions and timeline. Every guest commented on two things: 1. the OUTSTANDING view from the Rose Garden. We received many comments on how this was the most beautiful wedding guests had ever been too, and 2. the delicious food, drinks, and service. This was my dream wedding venue for about 20 years and it was far above and beyond my wildest dreams. I wish I could do it all again!! I would recommend this venue, catering, and team to anyone and everyone.

r. Angie was so helpful throughout the entire process. She is extremely knowledgable and her experience is unmatched. I was able to fully trust her recommendations. She is direct, smart and knows exactly what she is talking about. The food was delicious, the staff was very polite and our guests were so impressed. It was truly the wedding of my dreams. Everything about the Perry exceeded my expectations.

online pictures, hoping for the best. The venue ended up being drop dead gorgeous with the best views of Lake Michigan sunsets we had ever seen. Planning our wedding from NC, which would have been incredibly stressful in any other venue, was much less stressful because Angie made sure that everything with the venue stayed on track and promptly responded to all emails and worked with us to make my dream wedding happen, including arranging the head table in a way that had never been done before at the Perry. When it came time for the tasting, Winston, the head of food and wine, made our experience extremely memorable (no I am not going to spoil it for you) and the food tasted fantastic. As we got closer to the wedding, Jill met with us to go over the day of details and was our coordinator the day of the wedding. She made sure everything ran smoothly the day of and worked with the vendors to make sure everything coordinated seamlessly. Not only that, but the Perry added so many unexpectedly wonderful moments to our day that made it a once in a lifetime experience. All of our guests raved about the Perry and we 1000000% recommend having your wedding here. You will not regret it.
