On the day of the wedding, from welcome drinks to cocktail hour to dinner, everything went SO smooth. The staff were very professional and organized. . We were looking for a catering and bar vendor that felt elevated and polished—and PTD exceeded our expectations in every way. Their menu offerings were extensive and impressive, with delicious options for hors d'oeuvres, dinner, desserts, and even late-night snacks. The bar menu was equally flexible, with multiple tiers and the ability to customize. We were thrilled that they happily incorporated our signature cocktail (a Jungle Bird) and provided accommodations for various dietary needs, including tree nut and shellfish allergies, gluten sensitivities, vegetarian guests, and even a kid-friendly meal for our nephew. Despite my last-minute request for a tasting (due to planning from out of town), they accommodated me with grace, and the experience felt anything but rushed. It was clear from that moment that we were in excellent hands. A special shoutout to Samantha Contreras, our main point of contact and Sales Manager, who went above and beyond to schedule the tasting and guide us throughout the planning process. She was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and kind—truly a pleasure to work with. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, the PTD team remained communicative and supportive, always making us feel like a priority. They coordinated seamlessly with our wedding planner, making the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. On the big day, every detail was executed flawlessly—from linens and flatware to custom bar signs and table numbers. The food was delicious, the carne asada fries late-night snack was a huge hit, and we received endless compliments from our guests. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional, and the bartenders brought just the right energy. A special moment we won’t forget: one of the catering staff joined in on the dancefloor (cheered on by guests!), adding to the fun, celebratory vibe of the evening. A special shoutout to the staff manager, who made sure my husband and I always had food and drinks in hand—even as we bounced between photos and guests. PTD was a standout vendor that delivered both exceptional service and unforgettable moments. We’d recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone planning a big event.

Dining. The outdoor areas of the venue are beautiful and eliminated the need for extra flowers. The market lighting and amenities provided made wedding planning a breeze. I also want to give a special out to our event coordinator Josie and day of coordinator Kaitlyn. They made sure that everything on the day of our wedding went smoothly. If you are looking for a wedding venue in San Diego, do not skip visiting the Old Rancho and letting Personal Touch Dining show you why they have received so many awards!

blown away by their delicious food; the menu options were great and the team worked with us to make customizations throughout the process. Pricing was reasonable, especially given the quality. We really appreciated their flexibility with the bar package (other caterers were not willing to let us mix/match alcohols, and we were also able to supplement our own beer/wine with a few specifics that we knew our guests loved!) The staff were all super friendly and lovely to work with day-of. I really enjoyed working with Annalisa and Ashley during the planning as well- their patience and kindness throughout the process was much appreciated! We had a cocktail hour and sit down dinner, which was delicious from start to finish. They even went the extra mile to create a tray for the bride and groom to privately snack on. During our sit down dinner, the guests raved about the food, and the bride was particuarly happy that it came out hot. They were very professional, well-dressed, and efficient. They even were accomodating to help serve wedding cake after the dinner service at no extra cost! Our one small complaint is that the wait staff was a little too efficient at bussing the cake from tables during the dancing hour; many guests were unable to enjoy desert. Otherwise, we would use them again and again!

ing environment. Derek was so amazing to collaborate with, responsive to my emails and questions, and really listened to what we wanted. The staff and venue coordinator Kylee on our wedding day were so helpful and made the day run smoothly. My bustle broke on my wedding dress and Kylee jumped right in to help sew in a new loop so my dress could be bustled properly. e venue and they are good too. I would say the only down fall was they only do tastings so often and may not give you tons of time to find another caterer. Was amazing that they made sure that the bride and groom got to be able to get appetizers after not having time with photos and videos. Would suggest ANYONE look into this fine company.

caterers list, PTD seemed very reasonably priced and offered a wide range of menu options. They even coordinated our rentals (tables, chairs, lighting, space heaters, etc.) and cake (from Flour Power bakery) so that we did everything through them, which was very convenient. They were very communicative throughout the planning process, which was helpful as we were planning from across the country. Everything went relatively smoothly on the big day, the set-up was beautiful and food was good! We were pleased and would hire them again

The pricing was very competitive and a good value given all the services they provided and how amazing the food was. Highly recommend doing a food tasting in their office once you book with them - it was a phenomenal experience!

Personal Touch provided an elegant tasting for us at their main offices in Scripps Ranch. For the rehearsal and day of the event, we worked with Kelsey who was fun, vibrant and professional. The day of the event went off without a hitch! Personal Touch provides all the set-up and tear-down of the venue. Kelsey kept us on schedule and helped us to keep the event moving smoothly. Personal Touch Dining is a 5-star catering company - the food is wonderful. Our guests were very happy with the food and bar service. Also, their coordination services gave us piece of mind and allowed us to truly make our wedding day the BEST DAY of our lives.

Katie Vieira made our wedding day absolutely perfect. She kept everything in line, made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at important moments. She gave us space but also was close enough to help with anything we needed throughout the entire day (and night before). I loved working with her! The food was 2355/10. SO delicious. Not only that but there were so many different food options to choose from. On the day of our wedding they made our plates for us and introduced the Chef to us!! It was so cute and made us feel very welcomed. They took all the decor I gave them day of and set it up for me, cleaned it, made it perfect. My dreams truly came to life due to this exceptional team. ALSO I forgot multiple tools for the easels and the team without question found exactly what I needed and helped me with it. There wasn't a moment where I didn't feel like I had full support. Thank you SO MUCH PTD. I hope we get to use you again + I plan on recommending you to everyone we know!

If Annalisa was not available, Sam was able to answer our questions in a very timely matter. When we scheduled our taste testing, we were able to make our meal choices for our wedding there as well as the rentals. It was hard to pick our menu because everything tasted so wonderful! PTD’s staff went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests. While I was occupied during cocktail hour bustling my dress, they came to the bridal room and provided an appetizer plate for me and my bridal party to make sure we would not go hungry. They also left one for my husband and I at our sweetheart table. Some of our guests arrived after the dinner service and the buffet was already cleared. The staff went out of their way to still serve them a warm dinner. Not only did they pack all of the leftover food, they also packed mine and labelled it because I did not have a chance to finish my dinner. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food and drinks! They also enjoyed having the ice cream bar during our summer wedding. We truly appreciate PTD’s service and are so very thankful for making our wedding celebration a wonderful one!
