From our first call with Kevin, we knew that he would be the best choice for us for our officiant. He was friendly, thorough, and was super helpful and quick to respond to us if we had any questions. A couple weeks before our wedding, Andrea was needed to step in to perform our ceremony. So many people came up to us afterwards and still, 3 weeks later, saying how much they loved the ceremony and how personal it was. We were very happy start to finish with Personal Weddings NC and would highly recommend them for your wedding.

Kevin was the perfect officiant for our wedding! From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful in preparing us and making sure we had everything we needed for our big day. Despite only knowing Kevin for a short time, he made our ceremony feel deeply personal and tailored specifically to us. Thanks to his exceptional work, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd. We couldn't recommend Kevin at Personal Weddings NC enough. Kevin took care of me and my husband when we were in a bind 2 weeks before our wedding. After our first meeting, we knew we wanted him to marry us and he was even willing to send us questions and prompts before signing our contract (technical issues :P). Throughout the process of learning about us, Kevin felt genuinely interested in our story and ceremony ideas. One of my favorite parts about this process was the examples of readings, blessings, and outlines that Kevin brought to the table. He helped me find segments of our ceremony that are so special to me now that I would not have considered otherwise. On the actual wedding week, Kevin rehearsed with me and my husband early to accommodate a Friday wedding and coordinated with our wedding planner prior to our next rehearsal so no one missed a beat. On the day of, many guests said our ceremony was the best they had ever heard and they walked away learning so much about our love story because of the way it was presented. Thank you all!

Kevin and Andrea were incredibly responsive, helpful, proactive and professional. They completely customized our ceremony. The thought and effort that went into it on wedding day truly came through. We never felt judged for wanting to include or exclude anything from our ceremony. They were both very open-minded and forward-thinking. Andrea was nothing short of fantastic. Her presence was incredibly calm, clear and composed. Following our rehearsal everyone felt confident going into the ceremony, and following the ceremony everyone commented on how unique and personal it was. It was honor to have Andrea officiate.

Kevin was wonderful to have at our wedding and helped to keep everyone sane as it monsooned and rained out the entire venue, including the indoor barn necessitating staff to have to sweep the water out! Despite being delayed by an hour and not having planned for the intensity of the rain that we experienced, Kevin provided a wonderful service with a personal story that he created and adapted from our talks with him as well as information that we provided him through questions he asked about our relationship. Everyone loved it and even though our first time meeting him in person was the day before at the rehearsal, it seemed like he had known us for the past several years. Kevin was great throughout the entire experience and I would recommend him to anyone!

Kevin was the greatest officiant we could’ve asked for! His ceremony was so personal, we had several guests ask if he was our own pastor when we had never met him in person before that day. He met with us multiple times throughout the planning process and gave us detailed instructions for processes like obtaining our marriage license so we never felt lost or confused. He cared so deeply about getting to know us and building a ceremony with just enough humor, ritual/religion, and storytelling to make it feel like us. It was one of my favorite parts of the day, I seriously can’t recommend Kevin enough!!

Kevin was phenomenal from the very beginning of our wedding process - easy to talk to and very understanding of our goals for the ceremony. Since we were having a multicultural ceremony, he was very thoughtful and polite about being one of two officiants and seamlessly blended our family's wants and desires into a beautiful ceremony script. He was also helpful in helping us figure out how to get our legal marriage license, etc especially since we were coming from out of state. He melded the Hindu and Catholic traditions into one and we really appreciated how kind and thoughtful he was throughout the process. Many of our guests told us afterwards it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they've ever attended, which I have to agree!

From the first introductory meeting that we had with Kevin and Billy, we knew that we wanted to go with them. They were both professional, personable, and passionate about what they do. They created a personalized wedding ceremony for us that did not disappoint. Billy officiated our wedding and we could not have been any more pleased. His presence, guidance, and delivery were perfect. Several of our guests commented about how beautiful the ceremony was. Kevin was our officiant at our wedding on September 2, 2023. He also officiated my sisters wedding in August 2021. He is very professional to work with and made time to meet with us multiple times before the wedding day to confirm how we envisioned our ceremony. He provided us with extensive options to customize and he went above and beyond with curating our ceremony to feel personal to us. Our ceremony is one of the most memorable aspects of our wedding day! One of our wedding guests even got his card/information at the reception so he could officiate their wedding in 2024. Kevin made the entire process simple and working with him has been a pleasure.

We are so happy we chose Kevin as our officiant for our wedding! We had met with a few other officiants and they all seemed like they would do a good job but just didn’t feel like exactly what we were looking for. After our first meeting with Kevin, we both knew he was a perfect fit! We knew we wanted to include God and prayer into our ceremony without it being a full traditional religious ceremony that might not feel personal. Kevin made it soo easy to make our ceremony exactly what we wanted. He gave us lots of options for each part of the ceremony that we could choose from or alter to be what we wanted. Our ceremony felt so personal to us and our story with some laughs and tears, but still honored the importance and commitment of marriage. We got so many comments from our guests on how wonderful Kevin was and we couldn’t agree more!

My husband and I participated in the Matthews House Pride event; and Kevin and everyone involved made the experience so much better than I could have imagined. Kevin made us both feel so comfortable and cared for on a day that was special. I’ve never been one for sentimental events, but everything from what was said, to demeanor was lovely and put me at ease. He even was very quick to respond when I had a hiccup with contacting the photographer, and I appreciated so much how he went truly above and beyond. I highly recommend!

Kevin hosted a pride wedding day in June of 2023 with a collection of other vendors. My wife and I saw the Instagram post advertising the event one week before and jumped on board and I am so thrilled we did! The moment was magical, Kevin and his team made everything so simple and streamlined from start to finish. I really felt like we didn't have to worry about anything but showing up. We did not know the vows before we arrived, but they were so heartfelt, and there was not a dry eye in sight! Kevin and his wife were so kind, and committed to making the day special. I cannot thank them and the other vendors enough for their time and attention. We really felt the love!

Kevin was incredible! He is so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and sincere. He made the entire process simple and wrote the perfect ceremony for us because he put in the time to get to know us. Kevin officiated for a friend's wedding and they couldn't say enough nice things about him. I reached out with very little notice, and Kevin responded immediately. At first, he thought he may be booked but he offered to assist with back up if that was the case. Thankfully, Kevin was able to perform our ceremony and it was such an easy, worry-free experience working with him. I loved how much we were able to accomplish virtually including the survey he had us take to learn more about us. Then we met by Zoom which was so convenient given how busy we are. It was a nice, quick meeting and he was very attentive to our needs and wants for the ceremony. He also gave us a lot to think about in regard to how traditional or progressive we wanted the ceremony providing ideas on how to accomplish one or both. He was easy to talk to, we enjoyed our conversation with him, and were excited for the big day. We wanted our ceremony to be short and sweet but still meaningful and personal to us as a couple and the journey we've been on to this point. He did a phenomenal job doing just that. He was able to weave in pieces of our story and how we met, and even made a point to include my step daughters in the ceremony. It was simple and beautiful at the same time, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Kevin nailed it, and we are very grateful that he was able to join us for our special day. We would highly recommend Kevin.

Kevin was the last vendor that we chose for our wedding, and I'm so glad we waited until we found him-- he truly pulled all of our hard work together and created the most perfect ceremony we could have ever asked for. Amazing officiant! Words cannot describe how amazing Kevin was as our officiant! Kevin was helpful through the process of creating the perfect ceremony for me and my husband. He was able to take the information we provided to him from his questionnaire and deliver a truly remarkable love story to present to our guests. Kevin was an absolutely incredible officiant to work with and an overall amazing person! Even though we weren’t able to meet him in person until just a few days before our wedding because we are out of state, he made such an effort to get to know us to create a ceremony reflective of who we are. He had in depth questionnaires for us to answer and got to know us more through Zoom calls. He also has so much experience and made the whole process so easy for us. He had several resources he created himself for us to use and told us several times that he would handle all of the logistics and make things as straightforward as possible so we can focus on enjoying the day, which was so appreciated. Our wedding was in July 2022. My husband and I come from different religious backgrounds, and we knew it was going to be tricky to have a wedding ceremony that would be inclusive for both of our families. Our wedding planner recommended Kevin Holland, and he did a phenomenal job. He wrote a very beautiful ceremony that literally gave our wedding guests goosebumps. It was very personalized to our love story and our backgrounds. Wedding ceremonies typically follow the same patterns, which causes them to not be very memorable. Kevin Holland did such an amazing job, that the wedding ceremony was a lot of the guest’s favorite part of the entire wedding, because he set a really positive and uplifting tone that really underscored how special and momentous of an occasion it was for us and our families to come together as one. It made people feel that they were really witnessing something special and that they were getting to be included in our love story. What we also really appreciated was that Kevin was so on top of making sure every aspect of the ceremony occurred smoothly and seamlessly. He gave very subtle cues and gestures to people who had roles in the ceremony. For example, to indicate where someone should stand to do their reading or reminding my maid of honor to take my flowers, etc… It’s really easy for people to forget these things in the moment when all eyes are on them. He also knew to stand out of the frame for the kiss. I would recommend him 10 times over to anyone about to get married, especially if your wedding ceremony may be non traditional. He is very skilled and experienced in navigating situations where two people come from different religious backgrounds, and he can modify the ceremony to include as much or as little reference to religion as you want. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Kevin did such an amazing job officiating our wedding. The entire time leading up to the wedding he took the time to get to know us and our relationship. He asked questions and listened to what we wanted and based on that, he put together the most perfect ceremony that was the perfect blend of traditional and non-traditional elements, just like we wanted. Kevin was the best officiant we could have asked for!! We knew that we wanted an officiant who was well seasoned and reliable, would be willing to do a mainly non religious ceremony with a few spiritual elements thrown in, who was personable, could speak to our love, and be with us in one of the most sacred, important moments of our life! We looked into and spoke with other great officiants before meeting with Kevin, but when we met with Kevin it just clicked for us that he was the choice for us! He wrote a beautiful ceremony for us. We especially loved the questionnaires and meetings that allowed us to share with him all the details about our relationship and love for one another that he then incorporated into the ceremony. Kevin was extremely helpful through the entire wedding planning process. We met with him several times and even though our planning fell during one of the busiest times of year for him, he was always super responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. The personalized ceremony was everything that we could have ever dreamed. The whole night family kept coming up asking us how long we had known Kevin because it felt that like he had known us our entire lives! Kevin officiated our wedding in April 2022 and to say he did an awesome job would be an understatement. Kevin was wonderful throughout the entire lead up to the wedding. From truly building a relationship with us, to helping calm our nerves as the day got closer Kevin was incredible. My wife and I had a multicultural wedding with two ceremonies, one Christian and one Hindu. Kevin was able to tie the two together by making references to the Hindu ceremony at the beginning of our Christian ceremony and Kevin continually highlighted the unity of the day. Kevin’s officiating was so incredible we have had multiple guests ask us who he is and say they want to use him when their children get married. Kevin was the best wedding officiant we could have asked for for our wedding this past weekend. I liked that other newlywed couples had said "Everyone thought Kevin had known us our whole life based on the ceremony." It's true, because he knows how to help you get what you want out of your wedding. Rev Holland's process is easy and gives you time to reflect on what you love most about who you're marrying. He makes space for you to feel, consider, and share what's in your heart, and wants above all for the ceremony to suit the individuals who are marrying each other. He's got good common sense too, and humor about what could go wrong (pausing for planes, telling guests not to cover their faces with their phones). One of our meetings he picked up that my fiancee hadn't relaxed from the workday - and no questions asked, Kevin said let's reschedule, I want to make sure you're in the best frame of mind for this because it's something to be enjoyed. Things like that show you when someone cares about more than getting the thing done - Rev Holland cares about the people he's helping and loves what he does.

Kevin was wonderful. We faced many challenges in our wedding planning process, but Kevin was reliable and easy to work with throughout. He was prepared and kept us on a good schedule. He also did a fantastic job making our ceremony personal and memorable. Many of our guests commented that he was the best officiant they had ever seen!
