Kevin and Andrea were incredibly responsive, helpful, proactive and professional. They completely customized our ceremony. The thought and effort that went into it on wedding day truly came through. We never felt judged for wanting to include or exclude anything from our ceremony. They were both very open-minded and forward-thinking. Andrea was nothing short of fantastic. Her presence was incredibly calm, clear and composed. Following our rehearsal everyone felt confident going into the ceremony, and following the ceremony everyone commented on how unique and personal it was. It was honor to have Andrea officiate.

Kevin is extremely easy to work with and will accomplish what you and your partner want to experience during your wedding ceremony. I am so glad that we chose him to conduct ours. He taught me so much about the process and made it easy for us to make the ceremony personal to us. Multiple guests told us that it was the best ceremony they had ever been a part of!

Kevin did an incredible job with our ceremony! At first we weren't sure if we even wanted a ceremony, but after seeing him do a friend's wedding, we were sold. Kevin was so easy to work with- very friendly and caring, and every step of the way was so customizable. Kevin was wonderful to have at our wedding and helped to keep everyone sane as it monsooned and rained out the entire venue, including the indoor barn necessitating staff to have to sweep the water out! Despite being delayed by an hour and not having planned for the intensity of the rain that we experienced, Kevin provided a wonderful service with a personal story that he created and adapted from our talks with him as well as information that we provided him through questions he asked about our relationship. Everyone loved it and even though our first time meeting him in person was the day before at the rehearsal, it seemed like he had known us for the past several years. Kevin was great throughout the entire experience and I would recommend him to anyone!

Kevin was the greatest officiant we could’ve asked for! His ceremony was so personal, we had several guests ask if he was our own pastor when we had never met him in person before that day. He met with us multiple times throughout the planning process and gave us detailed instructions for processes like obtaining our marriage license so we never felt lost or confused. He cared so deeply about getting to know us and building a ceremony with just enough humor, ritual/religion, and storytelling to make it feel like us. It was one of my favorite parts of the day, I seriously can’t recommend Kevin enough!!

Kevin was phenomenal from the very beginning of our wedding process - easy to talk to and very understanding of our goals for the ceremony. Since we were having a multicultural ceremony, he was very thoughtful and polite about being one of two officiants and seamlessly blended our family's wants and desires into a beautiful ceremony script. He was also helpful in helping us figure out how to get our legal marriage license, etc especially since we were coming from out of state. He melded the Hindu and Catholic traditions into one and we really appreciated how kind and thoughtful he was throughout the process. Many of our guests told us afterwards it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they've ever attended, which I have to agree!

We are so happy we chose Kevin as our officiant for our wedding! We had met with a few other officiants and they all seemed like they would do a good job but just didn’t feel like exactly what we were looking for. After our first meeting with Kevin, we both knew he was a perfect fit! We knew we wanted to include God and prayer into our ceremony without it being a full traditional religious ceremony that might not feel personal. Kevin made it soo easy to make our ceremony exactly what we wanted. He gave us lots of options for each part of the ceremony that we could choose from or alter to be what we wanted. Our ceremony felt so personal to us and our story with some laughs and tears, but still honored the importance and commitment of marriage. We got so many comments from our guests on how wonderful Kevin was and we couldn’t agree more!

My husband and I participated in the Matthews House Pride event; and Kevin and everyone involved made the experience so much better than I could have imagined. Kevin made us both feel so comfortable and cared for on a day that was special. I’ve never been one for sentimental events, but everything from what was said, to demeanor was lovely and put me at ease. He even was very quick to respond when I had a hiccup with contacting the photographer, and I appreciated so much how he went truly above and beyond. I highly recommend!

Kevin hosted a pride wedding day in June of 2023 with a collection of other vendors. My wife and I saw the Instagram post advertising the event one week before and jumped on board and I am so thrilled we did! The moment was magical, Kevin and his team made everything so simple and streamlined from start to finish. I really felt like we didn't have to worry about anything but showing up. We did not know the vows before we arrived, but they were so heartfelt, and there was not a dry eye in sight! Kevin and his wife were so kind, and committed to making the day special. I cannot thank them and the other vendors enough for their time and attention. We really felt the love!

Kevin was incredible! He is so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and sincere. He made the entire process simple and wrote the perfect ceremony for us because he put in the time to get to know us. Not only was his delivery smooth and professionally done, but he also had genuine emotion for us and for our story. I would recommend Kevin without hesitation to anyone. Your wedding ceremony may be a small portion of your day, but it sets the tone for the entire thing. You can't go wrong choosing Kevin.

Kevin officiated for a friend's wedding and they couldn't say enough nice things about him. I reached out with very little notice, and Kevin responded immediately. At first, he thought he may be booked but he offered to assist with back up if that was the case. Thankfully, Kevin was able to perform our ceremony and it was such an easy, worry-free experience working with him. I loved how much we were able to accomplish virtually including the survey he had us take to learn more about us. Then we met by Zoom which was so convenient given how busy we are. It was a nice, quick meeting and he was very attentive to our needs and wants for the ceremony. He also gave us a lot to think about in regard to how traditional or progressive we wanted the ceremony providing ideas on how to accomplish one or both. He was easy to talk to, we enjoyed our conversation with him, and were excited for the big day. We wanted our ceremony to be short and sweet but still meaningful and personal to us as a couple and the journey we've been on to this point. He did a phenomenal job doing just that. He was able to weave in pieces of our story and how we met, and even made a point to include my step daughters in the ceremony. It was simple and beautiful at the same time, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Kevin nailed it, and we are very grateful that he was able to join us for our special day. We would highly recommend Kevin.

Kevin was the last vendor that we chose for our wedding, and I'm so glad we waited until we found him-- he truly pulled all of our hard work together and created the most perfect ceremony we could have ever asked for. He is super personable, so meeting beforehand, rehearsal, his attendance at our welcome party, and the ceremony were all fabulous as he did a great job conversing and getting to know us and our families. Amazing officiant! Words cannot describe how amazing Kevin was as our officiant! Kevin was helpful through the process of creating the perfect ceremony for me and my husband. He was able to take the information we provided to him from his questionnaire and deliver a truly remarkable love story to present to our guests. He made sure we were comfortable with the choices we were making and provided us many different options that we incorporated into our vows and ceremony.

Even though we weren’t able to meet him in person until just a few days before our wedding because we are out of state, he made such an effort to get to know us to create a ceremony reflective of who we are. He had in depth questionnaires for us to answer and got to know us more through Zoom calls. He also has so much experience and made the whole process so easy for us. He had several resources he created himself for us to use and told us several times that he would handle all of the logistics and make things as straightforward as possible so we can focus on enjoying the day, which was so appreciated. Our wedding was in July 2022. My husband and I come from different religious backgrounds, and we knew it was going to be tricky to have a wedding ceremony that would be inclusive for both of our families. Our wedding planner recommended Kevin Holland, and he did a phenomenal job. He wrote a very beautiful ceremony that literally gave our wedding guests goosebumps. It was very personalized to our love story and our backgrounds. Wedding ceremonies typically follow the same patterns, which causes them to not be very memorable. Kevin Holland did such an amazing job, that the wedding ceremony was a lot of the guest’s favorite part of the entire wedding, because he set a really positive and uplifting tone that really underscored how special and momentous of an occasion it was for us and our families to come together as one. It made people feel that they were really witnessing something special and that they were getting to be included in our love story. What we also really appreciated was that Kevin was so on top of making sure every aspect of the ceremony occurred smoothly and seamlessly. He gave very subtle cues and gestures to people who had roles in the ceremony. For example, to indicate where someone should stand to do their reading or reminding my maid of honor to take my flowers, etc… It’s really easy for people to forget these things in the moment when all eyes are on them. He also knew to stand out of the frame for the kiss. I would recommend him 10 times over to anyone about to get married, especially if your wedding ceremony may be non traditional. He is very skilled and experienced in navigating situations where two people come from different religious backgrounds, and he can modify the ceremony to include as much or as little reference to religion as you want. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Kevin did such an amazing job officiating our wedding. The entire time leading up to the wedding he took the time to get to know us and our relationship. He asked questions and listened to what we wanted and based on that, he put together the most perfect ceremony that was the perfect blend of traditional and non-traditional elements, just like we wanted. Kevin was the best officiant we could have asked for!! We knew that we wanted an officiant who was well seasoned and reliable, would be willing to do a mainly non religious ceremony with a few spiritual elements thrown in, who was personable, could speak to our love, and be with us in one of the most sacred, important moments of our life! We looked into and spoke with other great officiants before meeting with Kevin, but when we met with Kevin it just clicked for us that he was the choice for us! He wrote a beautiful ceremony for us. We especially loved the questionnaires and meetings that allowed us to share with him all the details about our relationship and love for one another that he then incorporated into the ceremony. Hearing for the first time what my husband told him he loved about me was so amazing! Overall highly communicative, very professional, flexible to whatever you envision your ceremony being, and unique to your love!

Picking a wedding officiant is one of the most personal decisions in the planning process, as this person will be the one to marry you to your best friend. Kevin officiated our wedding in April 2022 and to say he did an awesome job would be an understatement. Kevin was wonderful throughout the entire lead up to the wedding. Kevin was the best wedding officiant we could have asked for for our wedding this past weekend. We truly felt like Kevin cared about our relationship, our wedding, and making our day as special as possible. He really took the time to get to know us and our relationship and really cared about how we wanted our big day to go. He assisted us in making our handfasting happen and was constantly in touch with our venue to make sure everything ran smoothly. I truly do not have enough amazing things to say for Kevin. I liked that other newlywed couples had said "Everyone thought Kevin had known us our whole life based on the ceremony." It's true, because he knows how to help you get what you want out of your wedding. Rev Holland's process is easy and gives you time to reflect on what you love most about who you're marrying. He makes space for you to feel, consider, and share what's in your heart, and wants above all for the ceremony to suit the individuals who are marrying each other. He's got good common sense too, and humor about what could go wrong (pausing for planes, telling guests not to cover their faces with their phones). One of our meetings he picked up that my fiancee hadn't relaxed from the workday - and no questions asked, Kevin said let's reschedule, I want to make sure you're in the best frame of mind for this because it's something to be enjoyed. Things like that show you when someone cares about more than getting the thing done - Rev Holland cares about the people he's helping and loves what he does.

Kevin was wonderful. We faced many challenges in our wedding planning process, but Kevin was reliable and easy to work with throughout. He was prepared and kept us on a good schedule. My husband and I hired Kevin for our wedding ceremony and we can't say enough good things about him! Kevin was a pro from the beginning and we knew we were going to hire him after our first Zoom call. Kevin is personable, kind, and truly wants to give the best wedding ceremony he can for each couple. He makes each person fill out a separate questionnaire to get to know us on a deeper level, and asks if there is anything specific we would like included in our ceremony- my husband wanted a Top Gun reference and Kevin delivered! All of our guests told us how much they enjoyed our ceremony and what a great job Kevin did. We are so glad we had Kevin as a part of our wedding!

We had such a great experience working with Kevin. We first met him over a zoom call and immediately knew we wanted him as our officiant. We could tell that it was very important to Kevin to make our ceremony exactly how we wanted. When we were able to meet with Kevin in person he really took the time to get to know us. Fast forward to the rehearsal Kevin made us feel very comfortable and we knew exactly what to expect. On our wedding day our ceremony was beautiful, our friends and family told us how much they loved it, and we loved it too! Kevin was very organized and always requested info from us with plenty of notice and did not leave anything for the last minute. Kevin was amazing. He was recommended by my wedding planners. He was a perfect fit for my husband and I. Kevin doesn't do the bouler.plate ceremony. He has you complete questions separately and gives you suggestions and ceremony choices. He really puts a lot of thought into it and gives you ideas to think about. Kevin was so kind and helpful throughout our ceremony planning process and wrote the most wonderful and funny 'love story' that was personalized just for us. He is also inclusive of all religions and spirituality, as well as LGBTQ+ inclusive. Unfortunately he could not make it to our ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances, but he put us in touch with another wonderful officiant who made the transition easy and seamless. It was so nice of him to have a backup for us so we weren't left scrambling. Extremely kind and professional, and you can tell he really cares about you as a couple. If he continues doing weddings I would absolutely recommend him.

Kevin was actually the officiant for my brothers wedding 2 years ago and we just knew that he was the right person to marry me and my now husband. Kevin drove from Raleigh to Leland, NC to marry us. He met with us via Zoom (thanks to Covid) and asked questions to get to know us better. He was very personable and took the funny & loving information from our questions/meetings and put it into the ceremony. He wants the ceremony to be how you imagine it and is very helpful when you have questions. The ceremony was AMAZING and have heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone who said Kevin did a great job. You should definitely hire him as your officiant!

We really enjoyed working with Kevin. Before making the decision to hire Kevin, we searched around at officiants online, like most everyone else does. While everyone we stumbled upon seemed nice, many of them seemed to be treating ceremonies as generic celebrations. We learned so many things about marriage laws, officiating and even some of the best practices of putting together a personalized ceremony. Mr. Holland is awesome, our ceremony was perfect and exactly what we wanted! He is very professional, caring and very in tune to his clients wants and needs. We will remember our special day for the rest of our lives, thank you Mr. Holland for such meaningful ceremony.

Kevin was wonderful and all the guest still tell us what a wonderful ceremony it was. It was personable, the right amount of religion, and told the story of us perfectly! When I was stressed out he pulled me to the side and asked what he could do to ease the stress; I don’t know if anyone else would have done that. He was flexible with all the COVID stuff going on and I would choose him all over again. He was the perfect fit for our wedding and I highly recommend you at least meet with him to see if he will work for your wedding; we knew within ten minutes we wanted to hire him.

Words can't express how pleased we were with Kevin as our officiant. He was so helpful in the process leading up to the wedding, including our multiple postponements due to the pandemic. We loved how he scripted our ceremony, and we received several compliments on how beautiful it was as well! He even saved the day at the last minute when we forgot an important item for the ceremony. Would absolutely recommend him to couples looking for an officiant.

My husband and I are so happy Kevin was able to marry us. He worked hard to get to know us remotely (thanks, COVID) and make our ceremony feel personal and special despite not being able to meet with him in person after March. We were so pleased working with Kevin. He offers a completely customized ceremony experience at one reasonable fee. We didn't have to deal with pricing tiers or cookie cutter speeches. He was super responsive and totally willing to change anything we wanted to meet our needs which is great because I'm sure he's used to some of us picky brides and seems unfazed. If you’re thinking about booking Kevin, for goodness sakes do it!!! It is the day after my wedding and I am already writing this review because Kevin was that amazing. He was the only officiant we met with, he was so personal and perfect that there was no point in looking any further. Kevin made both of us cry like a baby during our ceremony. It was totally customized to us, and was far better than we imagined even after seeing drafts of the ceremony beforehand. Kevin was also very professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and generally awesome. Kevin, thank you for helping us seal our bond in marriage. You’ll always hold a special place in our hearts when we remember our wedding day.

There are not enough words that would describe how highly I recommend Kevin Holland. Kevin was the first and only person we met with to become our officiant. To us, Kevin checked every one of our boxes and made us feel at ease immediately. Somehow, despite being strangers on the other side of a Zoom call (thanks to Covid) Kevin was able to put us at ease during a global pandemic with so much uncertainty, letting us know everything would be okay, and he would be delighted to share in our special day. He took the time to understand our relationship, as well as our upbringing(s), and catered to our exact wants and needs for an officiant. He effortlessly blended my husband’s Episcopalian upbringing and my family’s Catholic upbringing to make it a truly special day and something that is inherently ours. Kevin was not only the person to marry us legally and in the eyes of God; he became a member of our family that day and shared in our love and commitment to each other. We couldn’t have done it without him, and if you’re looking for a ceremony that’s truly unique, thoughtful, and meaningful- hire Kevin, and do not look back!

Kevin was such a joy to work with! From the initial meeting we knew he was the officiant we wanted to marry us! He is so easy to work with and is very thorough with every step of the ceremony planning process. He spends a lot of time really getting to know you as a couple and provides excellent suggestions to make your ceremony unique and tailored to your personalities. His light-heartedness and super fun personality made every meeting with him even that much more enjoyable. After each encounter, both me and my husband always left with a new boost of joy and happiness in our hearts. His flexibility during the all the COVID restrictions eased our concerns and still made our minimony super cute and fun! It was a great preview for what our full ceremony will look like next year!!

If I could give Kevin more then 5 stars on a website rating I would in a heartbeat. Not only was he very helpful but he was attentive, flexible and responsive to all of my wedding wants and needs! It is obvious when working with Kevin that it isn’t “just a job” for him but a passion. He took the time to get to know me, my family and every detail I wanted involved into my wedding day. Kevin was even flexible when it came to in person or Face time meetings to work around my schedule and chaotic life. We weren't sure what exactly we wanted/needed when attempting to choose an officiant, but as soon as we met Kevin we knew he would make our ceremony happen exactly how we wanted. We didn't know how to write our vows, or how to choose readings, etc. but Kevin helped with every step along the way!

We are so happy that we found Kevin to perform our wedding ceremony. From the very first meeting with him we felt comfortable and knew he was the perfect person to marry us. We hired Kevin to officiate our wedding, and he was fantastic! With the upheaval of Covid, we had already changed our date, and the details of the ceremony and reception 3 times. When we met with Kevin virtually, he immediately put us at ease, and reminded us that our day would be special and romantic regardless of the circumstances. He was organized, professional, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He wove the tale of how we met and got engaged perfectly, and I am so glad that he is who we chose as our officiant!

We don't have enough words to say how much we loved to photograph our couple during their ceremony officiated by Kevin. We have never gotten that many incredible pictures of the bride and groom sharing their love with each other listening to Kevin's words. Kevin made the couple, their parents and guests laugh and at the same time, it was a beautiful and emotional moment for everybody. For us photographers, working with Kevin is a pleasure. We met Kevin at one of the first open houses we attended. He was so kind and welcoming and from what I remember he was telling us more about the venue then himself. That is when we knew he would be perfect for us - he wasn’t trying to “sell” us - he was truly interested in us having our best day! A few weeks after meeting we had a Skype discussion (it was around Christmas time so less hectic for all of us). After the call ended my husband and I both agreed we wanted to choose Kevin - and laughed and laughed - because we were both so positive we wanted to tell Kevin before the call ended but also didn’t want to make a decision without discussing with one another. Kevin made this whole process so easy. Our families are Catholic - and we chose to do a non Catholic ceremony. While they were upset at first - after our ceremony all anyone could talk about was how amazing Kevin was. As we desired - Kevin’s ceremony for us told our story. It was perfect!! Even our other vendors commented on him and said he was now their number one to recommend to other customers.

Kevin made our ceremony truly memorable. Immediately after our ceremony we received numerous compliments on how lovely and personal the ceremony felt, and we have him to thank for that. Kevin made himself available to us throughout the wedding planning process and was extremely helpful. He was very accommodating, as we didn’t want to have a very religious ceremony but did want to have some catholic undertones and he knew exactly how to do it. Kevin truly made our ceremony special and could not thank him enough (especially for wearing that robe in 90+ degree heat!)

Kevin was fantastic, you can't go wrong with a heart-felt guy that shows genuine interest in you and your forever partner. He was perfect through planning, very responsive and available for meetings on the phone, email, and even multiple face to face meetings.

We could not have asked for anyone better to be our officiant for our big day. Kevin was SO amazing. We received a ton of compliments after our ceremony. We were an out of town couple, and only had one video chat with Kevin and several emails back and fourth. After attending our ceremony many of the guests thought we had known Kevin for years!
