Philly Bride was recently purchased, moved, and completely re-branded by a young woman who worked under the previous owner. The new studio is on 3rd Street in an awesome renovated building. Jen was my consultant she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful even though I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to go in. She let me walk around the selection and made sure to stay within my price range. I really appreciated how she handled our whole party as we're super loud and needy! I highly recommend getting a dress from Philly Bride to support a local small business with above and beyond service!

I had such a great experience at Philly bride with Naomi. I didn't really have a clear picture in my mind of what type of dress I was looking for. She was so patient while my mom and I looked through dresses. We looked at so many beautiful different styles and she helped me decide what silhouette I wanted! Even though I didn't end up buying my dress here I would 100% recommended it to anyone, and Naomi was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Such great service and great selection. I love the Hayley Paige selection in the salon. Naomi helped me find my dress, I went in on two occasions and she was so sweet and fun to work with!

I had initially made my appointment at Philly Bride thinking it would simply help me confirm that I wanted a dress I had tried on at my first appointment at a different shop. I had showed a picture of this dress to Jen prior to the appointment, so that I could try on similar dresses. Jen helped me pick out similar dresses, but also encouraged me to try on slightly different styles. Unexpectedly, I fell in love with one of those different dresses Jen had picked. I don't like to make decisions too quickly, and Jen swiftly gave me space and gave me some time to think it over with my Maid of Honor in the dressing room and mother on Facetime. Once I put on the veil, I knew I had found my dress. I am so excited for my dress to come in! If you're looking for a bridal boutique you'll feel comfortable at during COVID, find a beautiful dress, and get great help - Philly Bride is the place to go!

Honestly my experience with this company was very mixed even before covid threw a wrench into my wedding dress shopping process. Before I spent any money with this company their customer service was good, and I felt supported finding my dress. They have a great selection at a higher price point but that fit within my budget. Once I said yes to the dress things took a turn for the worse. They did get my dress in on time (right before COVID happened), however my appointment to try it on and check that it was as ordered didn't go great; I spent 45 minutes waiting for any service even with my appointment without any explanation as to why/ what I was waiting for (eventually the salesperson did come to help and explained she was with a client who was late but telling me that instead of putting me in a corner dressing area with no indication on when I was going to be seen/ or any explanation until the end would have been appreciated and frankly this is not the kind of customer service one would come to expect when at a boutique of this caliber.) Additionally there was a whole hassle around alterations which, understandably may occur during Covid... that being said charging brides a fee to keep and make alteration appointments that are not part of the alteration costs without much explanation was where I drew the line (I was told multiple things from they had to get a new seamstress and that's where the cost was coming from, to they had an additional seamstress who honors their cost but you need to pay to reserve etc..) and honestly I found this to be a sad money grab when so many brides were struggling as it is (sure overall $25 dollars wasn't a huge amount but when asked where this would go they couldn't answer and said "we're doing it to help you") . Essentially, this seemed shady to me and I ultimately decided to take my dress elsewhere for alterations. Finally, I was able to get my dress, and unfortunately to my dismay it has a bunch/ bundle of unfinished threads attached to the train. Of course, when emailing them about this, I was asked if it was attached to the actual dress, and after clarifying it was, I was ignored for 3 months, and for multiple follow up emails. Ultimately, although they have great products the service goes downhill the moment you spend a penny here, and forutnatwlt there are so many other amazing bridal boutiques in Philly that have amazing customer service and products, I'd recommending taking your business elsewhere if you can.

Philly Bridal was a really great experience. Our consultant, Jen, was so incredibly helpful. I felt very comfortable with her in the dressing room, she was very attentive, didn't rush us at all, helped us pick out different styles to try, and steered us clear of dresses that were way past my budget. She was also super understanding of me being overwhelmed by the whole dress buying process and didn't make it into a huge production which I sincerely appreciate. The dress selection was great (I recommend looking up the collections they carry to get a good idea of what types of dresses they have in store.) What was really nice about the shop is the natural sunlight coming in through windows high above. I tried on dresses at two other stores without great lighting, and especially for fine detailing on a white/ivory dress it's important to see how beautiful everything is in natural light! While the price range was on the higher side of what I wanted to spend on the dress, I knew that going into the appointment. (And I'm sure the trunk sales are a great way to work around budget concerns too.) Big thank you to Jen for helping me find a beautiful gown- I can't wait for it to arrive! :)

I had the most amazing experience at Philly Bride! This was my last of three appointments and my crew was admittedly a bit tired from the day, but we had great vibes from the second we walked in that revived us! They asked me my price point and showed me the most BEAUTIFUL dresses, I could hardly choose which ones I wanted to try on. My consultant (I feel so bad I cant remember her name right now) was so sweet and made me feel so confident in each dress, but she and I both knew which one was "the one" when I tried it on. This by far was the BEST try-on experience I had!!! I am also really happy I bought my dress from here because I will have a unique dress, not one that you see a billion times on instagram. I went into Philly bride hating the dress shopping experience...however the second I walked into Philly bride, they made me feel so comfortable. I had the pleasure of working with Jen who assured me that i wouldn’t leave in tears like previous experiences. She was right. I found my dress and she helped me even get my dress is a quick time because my wedding is soon! I highly recommend Philly bride and if you’re lucky enough ask for Jen! Thank you Philly bride!!

I had such a wonderful experience at Philly Bride. Naomi was incredibly helpful. With a few quick questions she understood what style I was looking for and suggested a few dresses that I wouldn't have thought to consider. I appreciate that they only schedule one bride at a time so it's a more special experience for the bride/friends/family. Would highly recommend Philly Bride to any bride to be.

Working with Jen at Philly Bride was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. She was honest and really helpful and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable when I was feeling indecisive about the type of dress I wanted. I never felt pressured to “say yes” to a dress but I also felt encouraged that we were slowly but surely narrowing down my options so that I’d eventually find the one! I also loved the atmosphere of the space itself, lots of beautiful natural light. The selection of dresses was great and not overwhelming. Would definitely recommend for those who want a pleasant experience finding a gorgeous dress without feeling anxious or stressed.

I saw a Martina Liana lace turtleneck I just knew was going to be "my dress". Philly Bride was helpful, affordable and prompt in having the sample shipped from Australia. They were the 6th (and last!) bridal shop I visited. I was so impressed with their patience and attention as I tried to figure out my wedding day look. I could have purchased my dress from a few shops that sell ML, but Philly Bride's customer service and not-pushy sales environment made going with them the easiest choice I made!

Philly Bride, specifically Naomi, was attentive and helpful throughout the entire dress buying process. Naomi helped with choosing the perfect dress and veil and making the experience the best possible. A few months later we went back and requested Naomi to help my sister find her wedding dress as well. Beyond that, through the alterations process, Naomi always said hello and asked how things were going whenever I saw her. The alterations to the dress took 4 appointments but the dress was perfect by the end. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Philly Bride is a small and relaxed boutique bridal salon that has a great selection of dresses and a relaxed atmosphere. The bridal consultant was very courteous and helpful. In shopping for a dress, I found that many consultants at other salons were pushy and over-opinionated. This was not the case at Philly Bride. I loved my experience here!

My experience at Philly Bride was incredible.To be honest, I was not planning on buying anything but fell in love with a dress. It was probably only the 4th dress I put on, but I knew it was the one. We left that day because I was feeling overwhelmed by the decision, but Jen gave me her number and told me to text her if I wanted to come back in. I loved that she did not pressure me to buy the dress that day, answered all of my and my mom's questions, and genuinely wanted me to go home and think about it. I woke up still thinking about that dress, so Jen squeezed us in before my parents' flight. I said YES and am so happy to have had my parents in town for the occasion. I am so happy to have found Philly Bride and Jen!

I had such a wonderful experience finding the gown of my dreams at Philly Bride! My bridal consultant Jen was nothing short of AMAZING! She was super helpful and encouraging as I worked through finding what I liked. She even texted me throughout the week to check in on how I was feeling about the dress! My experience at Philly Bride was nothing short of amazing! I worked with Jen who was super friendly and really listened to my vision and what I thought I was looking for. This store was actually my first time trying on wedding dresses, and I found the one by dress #6 at their store! Jen used her knowledge and expertise to hand select the gown I ended up purchasing. The store itself is a hidden gem - it's very clean and bright, and in a beautiful, old historic building. There were tons of dress selections ranging in all kinds of prices, so there really was a great selection for brides with all budgets. I would definitely recommend this store to any bride, whether it's their first time dress shopping, or their 100th time! I can't give them enough praise.

I said yes to the dress at Philly Bride today! And a huge part of that decision was based on how amazing my Sales Associate, Jen, was! I’ve been to many bridal shops and, for me, I want to feel comfortable and cared about - both of which were met and exceeded here. The boutique is beautiful and clean, and there is a wonderful dress selection. I am proud to have bought my dress from Jen and Philly Bride!!

I said yes to the dress at Philly Bride! I worked with Jen and I highly recommend asking for her! She was well versed in the stores inventory, knew each dress designer and the ins and outs of any specifics (color choices, bottom skirt options, etc.) I went to Philly Bride for my very first dressing. I had no idea what I really wanted or what was going to look good. Jen was patient and helped me try on probably 10-15 dresses my first go around! I went back two weeks later to find a new dress that had arrived, now my dress! I highly recommend Philly Bride!

Last week I was fortunate enough to find my wedding dress thanks to Jen! I was dreading this day for months and I had pushed it off last minute! I’m getting married in July and my least favorite thing to do is try clothes on! Jen helped me find a dozen dresses that she thought I would like and I ended up finding the perfect one! Because I waited so long to dress shop, she even ordered the dress while we were still there! I am so happy with my experience! I will be recommending philly bride to everyone getting married!!

Philly Bride was amazing! Jen was so friendly, attentive to my comments, and quickly found exactly what I was looking for! She accommodated my large group of 8 women and we all had a blast. I wasn't completely sure what I wanted so we tried different styles and after listening to my comments, she pulled the perfect dress! I came in unsure, but bought the third dress I put on. Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere that made us all excited to find the perfect dress. I had previously been to a bridal store that did not make me feel welcomed and did not encourage me to take my time, and Philly Bride is the total opposite of that! Jen was respective of my budget which I really appreciated as we only tried on dresses that I could afford. Would recommend to anyone looking for the perfect gown! You will feel the love in the store and will find the dress for you.

I had a great experience at Philly Bride. My parents and I were greeted as soon as we walked in. They made us immediately comfortable by offering if there was anything they could get for us. They had a great selection of dresses to choose from as well. Naomi was so amazing and made me feel beautiful in each dress I tried on - but also was not pushy at all! I would definitely recommend Philly Bride to a friend.

My family and I had a fantastic experience getting my dress here with Jen. She was so kind and attentive, we had such a special day. I could not be more excited about my dress and the price. I can't stop recommending this place to other brides to be!

I'm still early in my shopping process - but this was the first place I went to. I was a bit overwhelmed and wasn't great at communicating what I wanted. My consultant was very friendly and patient and did great at helping me understand what I was liking and wasn't liking. I had two girlfriends along, as well and my consultant made sure that she was listening to my needs/wants over theirs. I picked out a handful of dresses I liked and I'm excited to go back with my mom and sister in a few weeks. Would definitely recommend this shop!

Absolutely worst experience here. The dress I tried on was actually already altered. I was never told this and was not aware of this until my dress actually arrived. Had I known this I would have chosen a different dress. So then I was left with a dress that had to be altered by the seamstress who did the original alterations on the sample dress. Long story short I dealt with un knowledgeable staff and an unskilled seamstress. When I contacted the owner she was unimpressed and was wondering why I even contacted her with this issue. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

I had such an AMAZING experience at Philly bride this fall. It was my first time shopping and I was a little nervous since I didn't know exactly what I wanted - but Jen was AWESOME. She was super nice, personable, made me feel so comfortable & felt like she really was trying to get to know me. She let me go around the store with her to see what dresses I was drawn to and picked out a few to try on. Mid-way through she said she thought she may have one that I'd really love, so she ran and got it off the rack - it actually ended up being the dress I said YES to! It's a small, cute boutique and was nothing short of perfect to spend this personal experience with! Love it!

This was the last appointment in my weekend and it was towards the end of the day. As you can expect, they were a little behind but they still gave you the same great experience that they are known for. I worked with Jen and she was nothing short of fabulous. She listened to everything I had to say and even put in some pics of her own that she thought I would love. I ended up picking one her choices! She really knows her stuff and I was so happy to start the alteration process.

The selection of dresses at Philly Bride included a wide range of styles for very affordable prices. I worked with Jen to find the perfect dress! I showed her one that I loved, and she instantly picked up on the style of dress that I was envisioning. As soon as I tried on the first dress that she picked out for me, I fell in love. I continued to try on other dresses that Jen picked out for me, and all of them were exactly the style that I had described to her. I ended up buying the first dress Jen had picked out for me along with great accessories that Jen also recommended! All of the dresses at Philly Bride are absolutely beautiful and although affordable, they look like they should be 3x the amount they actually cost! Jen went above and beyond to help me, and she was amazing at finding the perfect dress for your shape in the style you want! I cannot recommend Philly Bride

Anyone looking for a classic, gorgeous wedding gown from a friendly and experienced staff, then look no further than Philly Bride! I worked with Jen who is AMAZING at her job. She listens to your ideas and preferences and steers you in the right direction. I actually ended up choosing a gown that I was not interested in at first. But Jen is honest and very encouraging to work with, so with a little gently persuasion she zipped me into the Badgley Mischka "Brooke" and sure enough, it was love at first sight! They also have the BEST seamstress that will do all the fittings for you. With my buys schedule she was always able to stay late or come in on a weekend to make sure we got all the alterations done on time. I could not have been more pleased with my experience at Philly Bride.

Naomi is the sweetest! She was very helpful for my first time trying on dresses. Although I didn’t get a dress that day she helped me see which dresses looked great on me and which didn’t. I can’t help but thank her over and over again for such a great first experience!

Working with Jen was such a great experience! She made my parents and myself feel so welcome and comfortable during my appointment. I had gone to a couple stores already, but hadn’t quite found “the one”. After trying on a few dresses I knew I was wearing my gown (after I “said yes to the dress” Jen said she could tell in my face that this was it.) During my appointment I was nervous to say yes because I didn’t know if I was just caught up in the excitement. Jen was so understanding and scheduled a follow up appointment a few hours later so I could get some food and clear my head. When I came back and put the dress back on I was sure that this is what I wanted to look like on my wedding day. Thank you Philly Bride and Jen for helping me find my dream wedding dress!

This was the 3rd bridal shop I visited and it was by far the favorite shop of the day. The consultant Jen was warm, friendly, welcoming and pulled my dream dress that had everything I was looking for. As someone who knows what they like and generally has an idea of what I want, this was not the case when it came down to finding my wedding dress. I was most anxious about finding my dress because I did not have a clear idea of what I wanted besides knowing the details I did not. Jen listened to what I like and didn't like, and the first dress she had me try on at the store was the one I purchased. It checks all the boxes in what I wanted in a dress. All of the dresses I tried on during my appointment were gorgeous and each had little details that made them all unique, but nothing compared to the first dress of the appointment. I have nothing but praise and have already recommended the store to my 2 bridesmaids who are also starting to plan their weddings!

I visited Philly Bride last week and had a wonderful appointment with Naomi. She offered my friends and I wine when we arrived and explained the layout of the store before I got started with looking. She also offered different dressing rooms to try them on. I loved all the Martina Liana dresses! We all started crying when I put on one of the dresses. I would recommend this salon to brides looking for a personal experience.

I was very nervous and stressed to say the least when I decided to go dress shopping, Jen was more than accomdating to my larger party. Jen and Philly Bride get 5 stars all around! There was the perfect selection of designers and gowns to choose from, and Jen was spot on with providing her advice. It came down to choosing between two gorgeous gowns and Jen was absolutely amazing at guiding my daughter through the thought process. She said yes to the dress and was completely confident with the decision! We celebrated with some wine and photos, and look forward to the rest of the process going just as well! I had visited multiple bridal stores prior to my appointment at Philly Bride and had little luck finding a dress that wouldn't irritate my sensitive skin. I came to Philly Bride looking to try on a specific dress, however, Jen my bridal consultant picked multiple gowns (some of which were out of my typical box) that looked stellar. The store had an assortment of dresses in the style I was searching for as well as in fabrics that were soft and comfortable! I had a lovely experience at Philly Bride and am planning to return for a trunk show at the end of June!

Philly Bride was the first and last stop on my bridal gown search - I found my dress after the 4th one I tried on! That all had to do with the knowledge of our awesome consultant, Jen. She made me, my mom, sister and sister-in-law so comfortable right when we arrived. I was fortunate to have her as my expert. Would recommend this shop and Jen to anyone who may be wondering where to start!

Jen helped me find a dress at the Hayley Paige trunk show! She was completely open to letting me try on anything I wanted and made sure I got the most of my 1.5 hour appointment. She was nice but also helpful for my indecisive personality and made sure I could get exactly what I wanted. Thanks Jen and Philly Bride!!

Last Saturday I went to Philly Bride with my mom. This was our third appointment, and we already had a dress we were serious about from the day before. Jen helped us immediately find two dresses that I liked even better. I ultimately picked my dress from Philly Bride, and I couldn't be happier with the design. Jen was upbeat and helpful. I haven't gone through alterations yet, but so far, it's been a pleasant and easygoing experience working with the store (which is beautiful, by the way).

I had Naomi as my consultant and she was amazing!! I honestly can't say enough good things - Naomi was laid back and seemed to know exactly what I was looking for after we had a quick initial discussion. She never made me feel pressured or rushed to pick a dress and even met with us early the next day when I needed time to think. The only con I have is that one of the dress racks was placed in the area right next to another woman trying on dresses. I just waited until she went into her room to try something on so I wasn't disturbing her experience. Big thanks again to Naomi! I love my dress and they have so many great options in a very reasonable price range. I highly recommend.

I had such a wonderful experience at Philly Bride! When you walk into the store consultants are there to welcome you. The store is well organized and clean. Dresses were organized by style which was very helpful! I was early for my appointment and I was able to wait in a comfortable area and a consultant brought me and my guests water while we waited. The store consultant I worked with was Naomi. She was wonderful!! She was accommodating, and patient as I tried on all different dress styles. At no point did I feel pressured to rush and make a decision. Naomi was helpful and wanted me to fall in love with whatever dress I picked. I am SO grateful for this experience and I am so happy I found my beautiful dress for my big day at Philly Bride! I highly recommend this shop to anyone!!

My experience at Philly Bride from start to finish was lovely. I was greeted by Naomi, who immediately knew my name and welcomed by party to an area in the back. The appointment was semi-structured, which I appreciated: I pulled a few dresses I liked, but then was able to change my mind or add another dress and try that on at the end based on my preferences. My girlfriends and I were treated to complimentary white wine as I tried on dresses. The whole salon is in a beautiful old bank building, too, which amps up the glam feel. I mostly appreciated working with Naomi, the bridal consultant. These appointments can be awkward because you essentially get naked in front of a stranger, but Naomi was so laid-back and easy to talk to, she made the experience much better. She clearly likes fashion and has a good eye, which was helpful. As we left, we said I could always call or even text, which was awesome! And if I want to special order a dress they don't have, there's a small fee, but they're willing to work with you. I will definitely be back before I make my final decision!

I had such a great experience at Philly Bride! Jen did an amazing job helping me to choose dresses to try on. She was very knowledgeable and worked with me to find the perfect dress. She identified pretty quickly what my style would be, even though I didn't have a great sense of it myself! I only had to try on about 5 or 6 dresses before I knew for sure I had found the perfect one. I would highly recommend this boutique to any brides in the Philly area. This is the only store you need to go to!

Philly Bride is where I found my dress, after many other places and gowns that I tried on. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff did not pressure me and allowed me look around and pick out dresses that I wanted, not what they thought I would like. Naomi was the best to work with!! She allowed me to take my time and really find the ONE!! Once I said yes and started on alterations with Brenda I knew that I made the best decision possible. Brenda truly made my wedding gown dreams come to life and I cannot thank her enough for that. If you are in search of your wedding gown, MAKE SURE you go to Philly Bride!!!!
