Nathaniel knocked it out of the park for my daughter’s wedding!!!🤩 We loved working with him! He made the whole process easy and smooth from start to finish! He is very organized, detailed oriented, and fun! He had suggestions for music when we were stuck, and eased our minds about the music timeline. He had the crowd hyped, and everyone was on the dance floor! We could’ve went way past our curfew timeframe given by the venue! Our party would’ve easily lasted a few extra hours! Nathaniel is the best there is! We are so grateful that we were able to have him DJ for our wedding this November. He is professional and knows exactly what to do to make your vision and night really come to life. He was also very patient with us as we slacked off on figuring out specifics regarding song selection, and reassured us that he's really seen it all. Throughout the night, I kept thinking to myself, "I LOVE THIS SONG!" For being an extremely musically inclined person, this was key for me on my night. We were up and at it on the dance floor as soon as we could, and so many of our loved ones joined us. It was an unforgettable night, and we thank Nathaniel for all he did to make it so. Nathaniel was truly the perfect DJ for our wedding. He kept the party going until we had to shut it down. All of our guests were raving for days about how much fun they had dancing along. Highly recommend hiring Nathaniel for any event you want to be a good time.

Short and simple… GO WITH HIM. Not so short and simple: Nathaniel is the BEST DJ you could EVER have. He’s professional but also feels like a best friend. He parties but gets sh!t done. He mixed songs for a surprise father daughter dance, he knew the whole wedding party by name, he played multiple different songs for the ceremony depending on who was walking out, he met with us at least 3 times and walked us through EVERYTHING. There are truly no words to describe how amazing Nathaniel is. Our wedding was perfect and that is in large part due to him being there with us! When we first met I told him I wanted our guests to say “wow I want a wedding like this wedding”; and boy he delivered that and then some! All of our guests were impressed with the DJ and wanted to know who this cool guy was. He was able to mix all of our a favorite types of music to create an amazing party and experience that we will never forget. From start to finish he made the planning process so easy! We cannot say enough great things about Nathaniel. To start off with, he is a wonderful communicator. There will not be a single component of your wedding timeline he has not thought about. His military training has obviously instilled in him an incredible work ethic and sense of professionalism. When working with him, you will be met with a series of calls leading up to your wedding day where not a detail will be missed. I'm a perfectionist and he had me beat!) But once all the planning and details are ironed out, he will throw you the best party of your lives. Seriously. It's several weeks out from our wedding and our guests are still calling us and talking about what a great DJ he was. His ability to read and interact with a crowd was spot on. Where to begin! Nathaniel was extremely detailed and professional through the entire wedding process. We had multiple meetings (via zoom to accommodate busy schedules) to make sure nothing went missed. Nathaniel made us feel extremely confident going into wedding day. Having an amazing DJ from start to finish is extremely important as they are the one moving the day/night along. I am sooo thankful we found and picked Nathaniel! The music he played was epic, and he definitely knows how to read a room. We had sooo much fun thanks to Nathaniel! We will definitely be hiring him again for other events in the future.

Nathaniel was an amazing DJ! One thing we wanted was for our wedding to be fun and a huge party and he made sure that happened I don’t think anyone left the dance floor all night. When we were trying to find our perfect match for the night of fun we had ran into so many rude people who you could tell just Dj’d for the money but not Nathaniel! He was great at it and I personally think because it’s something he enjoys. We had so much fun and any change that happened last minute Nathaniel saved the day or made the changes as quickly as he could. We had a blast and I will recommend him to any bride I know!

I hired this company for my wedding. I was nervous at first because we wanted afrobeats, Nigerian pop music, Zimbabwean music, dancehall and hiphop. I wasn't sure if he could come through but let me tell you, Nathaniel surpassed all of my expectations. He was extremely professional, a wonderful emcee, DJ, and had all of the add-ons (sparklers, lights, sound, fog lights etc) that made our day spectacular. Leading up to the wedding, we had several meetings, nailed down timelines, games, etc. He was punctual, calm, friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. Honestly I cannot say enough about Nathaniel Sweeney. Worth his weight in gold. I recommend him 1000% and I will definitely be looking out for him anytime I have an event.

We originally had several interviews scheduled for our wedding DJ and after meeting with Nathaniel, we canceled the others! He is extremely friendly and professional, making sure to meet (virtually) several times with the couple during the period leading up to the wedding in order to ensure everything is perfect. He even goes through the entire wedding schedule to ensure everything is exactly right. Nathaniel is not just a great DJ but an excellent MC. He is very good at "reading the room" and keeping the party going smoothly and with high energy through the events of the evening! As most couples do, we worried about "keeping people out on the dance floor" during the wedding. This was a non-issue with Nathaniel! He expertly played the right songs at the right time and everyone had an absolute blast. We got many compliments from guests during and after the reception about how awesome the music was and how much fun they had! I highly recommend Nathaniel. His experience, professionalism, and attention to detail is second to none.

If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, I would highly recommend Nathaniel. He was the MC/DJ for my daughter's wedding at the beginning of December at Tubac Golf and Spa Resort. He provided the music for the ceremony, social hour and the reception. He is very professional and takes the time to get to know the couple. He met us on site in July to walk the venue and had several online meeting with my daughter and her fiance, now husband, leading up to the wedding. In my opinion, your choice of DJ is one of the most important decisions you will make for the wedding. They control the vibe and flow of the reception. Nathaniel did an awesome job of keeping us on track through dinner, the speeches , father/daughter dance, etc, and then the party started. The bride and groom wanted a party, and that is what they got. Nathaniel does a great job of reading the room, keeping the energy up, and getting people dancing. I also highly recommend the cold sparklers, as they add a nice touch. Above all else, Nathaniel is a great guy. We received multiple positive reviews from the guests on the DJ.

Nathaniel was a fantastic DJ! We would book him again without question. He was great with communication throughout the entire planning process, which involved four zoom meetings in total. The meetings all went as scheduled, and he was efficient but also extremely thorough. We really appreciated this as we often did not have much time to meet after work hours. Our wedding guests covered a wide range of ages and personalities, and we thought that Nathaniel always did an amazing job of responding to the crowd. In addition, many guests throughout the night told us that he did a great job. Along with our coordinators, he helped us a lot with some last-minute changes in the few hours of setting up before the wedding. Lastly, Nathaniel helped us make decisions collaboratively and provided valuable suggestions when we weren't sure of what to do. We highly recommend Nathaniel as your wedding DJ!!

Nathaniel is phenomenal!! He spent a lot of time finding out about us, our preferences and desires for our wedding day. His easy going personality immediately inspired confidence in him and he delivered as promised, and then some! He was on time to all of our meetings, and most importantly, on time for our wedding day. He kept the day structured, and guided all the guests during the entire event, giving clear and concise instructions as to what was next. His equipment was top notch, providing the perfect amount of sound, lights and we added the cold sparklers for an extra touch. Nathaniel does an amazing job of becoming your friend before your event, and this allows him to seamlessly provide a great, personalized service tailored to you and your music style. He kept everyone engaged, and perfectly integrated our requested music into his own mix, perfectly matching the music to the different events in our wedding, from the procession, to cocktail hour, through dinner to the dancing. We highly recommend him and will definitely use him for all of our future functions! Awesome job!!

I cannot say enough great things about Nathaniel! We used him at our wedding reception on 11/4/2022. From the beginning of the process he was very diligent and helpful. He laid everything out in a easy to use format and had a great amount of options depending on what we were looking for at our reception. We met multiple times before the wedding to review music, timelines, and names. He visited the venue and met with the event coordinator prior to our reception to ensure he knew where everything was going and provide us with advice. Once the big day was finally here, he showed up early to set up and was ready to get the party started as soon as our first guest arrived for the cocktail hour. Once we arrived from the church he got our wedding party hyped up and ready for the grand entrance. He kept us on point with our timeline from the entrance, first dance, toasts, bouquet toss, grand exit and all the other things we requested. Once we got through the formalities it was time to party! He utilized our play list to get things started and really read the room to keep things rolling! He was very involved with the crowd and did a great job MC the whole event. People only stopped dancing to get drinks and cool off. Our reception would not have been as amazing and fun without him. We received tons of compliments about him from our guests, with multiple saying he was the best DJ at any wedding they had been to. I can’t say enough good things about him, the service he provides, and highly recommend him for your event. To top it all off, he is a 20 year military veteran! Thanks again Nathaniel for your service to our country and for making our wedding so special and memorable!

Nathaniel Seeney was an incredible DJ and MC. He helped guide me and my wife though the scheduling of the wedding night. Come the wedding night he kept the energy fun and high, especially by supplying these great foam lights that really elevated the energy on the dance floor. Our guests, during and after the wedding, kept complimenting us on how great our DJ was. Nathaniel is prompt, organized, funny and has great energy himself; you will see this during your first meeting with him and all along through the planning process. During the wedding night, he truly personalized the experience and by the end of the event, it'll feel as if he were a good friend that you'd invited to the wedding. We really appreciated all the good work Nathaniel did and would wholeheartedly recommend him to friends and family for future weddings.

We used Nathaniel to DJ our wedding at the Desert Museum and not only did he excel as the DJ he absolutely killed it as the emcee! He did a tremendous job facilitating the nights festivities and keeping everything on track. His energy was contagious. Our wedding was on the smaller side and he was able to get everyone out on the dance floor for most of the night. He executed a perfect dance battle circle and finished the night off with some beautiful slow songs to finish of an amazing evening. Leading up to the event we met on a handful of organized Zoom meetings that made planning a breeze and answered all questions in advance. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a DJ!

We loved working with Nathaniel. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and great at curating a dance list that kept our guests on the dance floor. He took time to get to know us as a couple to ensure that he provided a personal experience that met our needs. When we got stuck picking our first dance song, his great suggestion of doing a mash-up saved the day.

Nathaniel was fantastic at our wedding! He was definitely one of the highlights of the day. His professionalism and vibe were perfect. He was very helpful in the planning process all the way up to the big day. All of our guests absolutely raved about the job he did. We hope to book him for another event in the future!

Nathaniel kept the party going on all night! We had such a blast! He came with great energy and professionalism, making it easy for us to just dance our butts off and have fun. He was able to accommodate requests while still keeping to the songs we wanted to make sure were played. Overall, our party was good and everyone had a great time. But we feel the need to be honest about our experience. We went with Nathaniel because of his reviews and his experience DJing around the world. He was very professional–he had Calendly which made it easy to schedule meetings; a form to fill out details like specific song selections for special dances; his appearance on zoom and in person are very professional. He was generous with his time, meeting with us and the venue coordinator prior to the wedding to see the venue since it was an unconventional location. However, we didn't experience the same type of professionalism the day of. A few examples: He had requested any playlists that we curated and our wedding timeline. Since the bride is a professional musician, we had curated playlists that set the tone for different parts of the wedding. We provided a playlist for cocktail hour/dinner, a smaller list of songs we wanted to hear when the dance floor opened, and another which included song requests from our guests that we had already vetted. Our cocktail hour music had a specific vibe that included music such as: a cover of Passionfruit by Benny Sings; Hunnybee by Unknown Martial Orchestra; Lucy by Still Woozy/ODIE; Yam Yam by No Vacation (which was an ode to one of our guests who is the drummer on this album); Pretty Please by Dua Lipa; New LA by SiR/Anderson Paak/Mez; Starman by Seu Jorge; etc. It was a playlist with a clear vibe that included songs with special meanings that would resonate with our guests. However when cocktail hour started, Nathaniel was playing EDM that was very loud and too high energy, the opposite of the vibe we wanted for this part of the wedding. In our meetings we also explained that our guests had an eclectic mix of music preferences ranging from Bay Area hyphy to George Strait. The hyphy music brought more energy and people to the dance floor but we didn't hear enough country for the people that liked country. Toward the end of the night, Nathaniel was playing Florida Georgia Line's Cruise and stopped it in the middle with an abrupt change to a hip hop song. It made us feel disrespectful and not inclusive to those who were dancing to Cruise. Don't get us wrong, we had an amazing time Wobbling and getting hyphy but this made us feel bad at that moment. There were a few awkward transitions throughout the night which disrupted the flow of dancing. We appreciated Nathaniel's flexibility when the day of coordinators requested a change in the schedule for a surprise dance performance for us. But some other things in the schedule were missed, such as releasing tables for the buffet. He did not do this as asked. He also announced to guests to find their seats and sit down 15 minutes into cocktail hour. That was a real shame because we wanted people to walk around, mingle and go to other parts of the venue like the rooftop where there was a lounge set and beautiful sunset to enjoy before sitting down for dinner. We also felt his style of announcing was a little aggressive and demanding. We felt that Nathaniel had his own agenda and definition of hyping up the crowd that maybe didn't totally fit our priorities and values.

Nathan was everything we were looking for in a DJ. Professional, organized and brought the fun and the party! He made us feel so comfortable every step of the way and was great at laying out everything we needed. Our guests had such a blast and even other vendors noting how great Nathan was. Highly recommend!

After interviewing 3 djs we decided on Nathaniel at Phox Entertainment and we're so incredibly happy we did!!! Nathaniel is very easy to get a hold of and responsive to emails which is super important when planning a wedding as things inevitably change. We had 2 pre wedding meetings which was perfect and both were necessary for us. He is excellent at reading the crowd and keeping people on the dance floor. He is also a fun and energetic emcee that was able to hype up my guests at the right times with his personality and song selection. I danced the entire night at my wedding and everyone has been telling me it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding!!!! Thank you again Nathaniel!!!!!!!

From the start, my fiancée (now wife) and I knew that Phox Entertainment group was a great choice as a DJ/Emcee. From the systems of communication, the meetings beforehand talking about scheduling, and even the pronunciations of our bridal parties names, we felt respected and valued at each step of the wedding journey. Fast forward to the day of, when it came time to start our reception, Nathaniel (our DJ from Phox) was completely set up and prepared beforehand. He gave the bridal party a pep talk, we decided on entrances, and you could tell that he was just as excited as we were to get the night going. The rest of the night, he properly orchestrated all of our events, from dinner and cake cutting, to our special dances and events. If we could give a better then 5 star review, we would. I highly recommend Phox Entertainment Group as a go-to service for those that want things done the right way, the first time... you're basically guaranteed to have a great time!

Nathanial exceeded our expectations and made our wedding amazing. He met with us multiple times to be sure he understood our needs. The music was on point and kept everyone on their feet all night!

Nathaniel was exceptional right of the bat! I messaged him requesting information and within and hour he had made contact, sent me a brochure, answered my questions and we made an appointment to meet on the phone within the next couple days. Our phone call was great and he asked me questions about the vision we had for the wedding and what we wanted out of a DJ, and answered everything I asked. Plus, he stayed on the phone to walk me through the process. Additionally, he is USAF veteran and as a military member myself, I knew that when people retire, they usually try to find a job they love and are passionate about so I new he probably loved doing this and was good at it (and the reviews I read confirmed this). Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we could not bring our big wedding to fruition and Nathaniel was beyond understanding. I would definitely hire him in the future for any event we need a DJ for!

From start to finish Phox Entertainment aka Nathaniel was professional, organized and absolutely amazing. He made our day better than we could've ever imagined. He guided our wedding from start to finish! He listened to our ideas and allowed for last minute ideas during our Ceremony and Reception. He knew exactly what to play and when. Kept the party going till the end and even got guests that I would not think would be dancing, dance! Nathaniel exceeded our expectations by being professional, upbeat and personable. Nathaniel was the most professional and amazing DJ you could ask for. We had issues with our original DJ about two months before our wedding and Nathaniel stepped in and completely blew us away. He was an excellent MC and was able to get everyone dancing. We danced for HOURS. He had open lines of communication for us and was beyond supportive. Nathaniel was FANTASTIC. My husband and I got married last year at the height of COVID and didn’t get to have the wedding we originally planned. We planned a reception for 2021 and I found Nathaniel literally 2.5 weeks before the party. He was the most communicative and professional vendor that we worked with. He was so quick to respond and receptive to our needs and vision for our reception. What’s more, he knew how to make the party happen!
