Carisa and her team is everything you need and more! She helped my husband and I in anyway that you can think of from table settings to figuring out the best places for our decor, to helping us figure out the best line up for our wedding party (24 people including myself and my husband). Any question or concern I had regarding my wedding she was there to help and came up with a solution for us. Her and right hand girl Alex made sure my wedding ran smoothly and without any bumps in the road (and if there was a bump we never knew about it). She kept me calm and excited before I walked down the aisle. My wedding wouldn’t have ran as smoothly as it did without their help; and for that I will be forever grateful for. Carisa is an amazing woman inside and out. It was a pleasure working beside her!
I found Carisa at Pink Olive Events totally by chance while quickly Googling “wedding planner near me.” I reached out, we had the most incredible phone call, and I was lucky enough to meet her that same day at a Wedding Expo she was hosting. From the second I met her, I could just tell she was bubbly, dependable, and genuinely loved what she does. It was such an easy choice to have her help plan our destination wedding.
We got married at the Emara Estate Villa in Turks and Caicos. Neither Carisa nor I had ever been to the venue or even to Turks and Caicos at all, but somehow she knew exactly where to start and pulled off the most magical weekend with two nights of celebration. She found the most amazing musicians and caterers for our welcome dinner, and brought in the sweetest team to help set up all the chairs, tables, and twinkle lights (shoutout Hazel!). She somehow found the most amazing, thoughtful, and meticulous hair and makeup artists for my girls and I on wedding day. I absolutely adored them. Our DJ was fabulous, hilarious, and Carisa even supported me when I insisted on sending my excel spreadsheet of "must play" and "do not play" songs. She made sure he tolerated me (lol!). She eased my mind, made me laugh, and supported me through all of my DIY ideas (even when they were a bit illogical... but was ALWAYS there when it was time to think of plan B!). That kind of kindness and dedication is so rare. Need I also remind that she executed all of this while in a completely different country!? I don’t know if many people would have been able to pull of what she did... and I know for a fact I could not have done it without her.
On the actual wedding day, Carisa and Alex were beyond thoughtful, completely on top of everything, and somehow managed to wrangle our very large (and very much in vacation mode) bridal party in Turks and Caicos. Their attention to detail was unmatched. They checked in with me often and were always available for quick chats whenever I was nervous, excited, anxious, or just needed to share something. They worked so closely with me every step of the way to make sure I had the wedding of my dreams, and they absolutely delivered. Before I was about to walk down the aisle (and I will never forget this), I nervously looked up at the sky as two large rain clouds were rolling in. Our wedding was on the beach. She looked at me, grabbed my hand, and said "Hey, what are you doing? Don't look at those clouds. This is going to be perfect." And it was. During the ceremony, a rainbow appeared behind us, and the clouds cooled us off from the beating sun. There was no rain, only magic. Carisa was right, it was perfect.
She worked so well with my mom, my now husband, and me that it honestly feels strange not talking to her every day now that the wedding is over. Being a doctoral student and planning a destination wedding in under a year was a whirlwind. I truly do not know how I would have done it without her. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful. If I could do it all over again, I would choose Pink Olive Events a thousand times. Thank you, Carisa! You gave us the wedding of our dreams and we’ll never forget it. 💗

I am beyond thrilled to share our incredible experience working with Alex as our wedding planner, alongside her assistant Kaitlyn. From start to finish, they made the entire process seamless and stress-free! Alex exceeded all of my expectations—she was incredibly attentive from the very beginning, even months before the wedding. She joined me for venue walkthroughs, took meticulous notes on every detail I envisioned for our big day, and made sure I felt heard and understood every step of the way.
As the wedding day approached, Alex coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everything was on track, and she kept in touch with me to confirm that nothing needed to be changed last minute. On the day of the wedding, Alex was a true lifesaver—she moved effortlessly between me, my husband, and the venue, ensuring every detail was taken care of. I truly felt at ease knowing my vision was in such capable hands, and the day turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined.

We were lucky enough to have Carisa and her assistant Colleen from Pink Olive Events as our day-of wedding coordinators. They did such an amazing job making sure our backyard wedding ran smoothly by coordinating with our many vendors and helping out all day and night. We would highly recommend them for any wedding! Very experienced and professional - we can’t imagine having a better experience :)
Carissa and Lexie were amazing! They were extremely helpful with my doubts and questions throughout the planning process. They were great about making everyone feel comfortable about their role during the rehearsal dinner. My brother was officiating for the first time, and he left the rehearsal dinner much less nervous after having his questions answered. On our wedding day, I felt very calm about the fact that everything would run smoothly with the Pink Olive team leading the way!
I originally hired Carisa as a day of coordinator for our wedding but as our special day approached we realized how much more help we needed to stay organized- Carisa was AMAZING at taking on tasks to help us and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything went perfectly. On our wedding day, Lexie and Carisa made sure everything went smoothly and brought so much positivity to our wedding! They are both easy to talk to and have such a calming presence on what can be a crazy day! I would hire Pink Olive Events 1 million times over for any event!!!

Pink Olive SAVED OUR LIVES for our wedding. How we decided to work with them: I had a really hard time working with the "coordinator" who came with our venue, and finally realized that I needed to hire a Day Of Coordinator or else I would be directing traffic all day instead of being the bride. I reached out to Carisa directly about 8 weeks before my wedding, and she was incredibly gracious in matching us with Shannon L as our planner. How it went: We chose the Month-Of package, which meant that in the last 30 days before the wedding, Shannon took over all aspects of planning and coordination. Shannon made it super easy, by talking with me on the phone and setting me up with an online portal to upload my contracts for her to review. From there, Shannon thought of SO many details and logistical things that I had not planned for, and without her, would have been a disaster. She dealt with all of the changes, including when my caterer went out of business 6 weeks before my wedding and we had to find a totally new caterer. Shannon also communicated with all vendors, managed their arrival times, answered their questions, and handled all logistics. She offered advice to me where I needed it, but let me and my husband make our own decisions like what order to do the events of the evening (dances, toasts, dinner service). Shannon and her assistant wrangled my guests and family, some of whom are easily distracted (LOL). Another great detail - Shannon gathered up all my cards and gifts and guests' disposable cameras that we put on each table, and put them in a place where we could easily find them the next day amongst all the chaos. Overall, I don't think the event would have run half as smoothly as Shannon. We have only good memories thanks to her. Thank you, Carisa, Shannon, and Pink Olive!
It's hard to sum up in words how fabulous Carisa and her team is. I did the month-of coordination and it really was such a game changer having someone to assist me in all the last minute details. Carisa was so responsive leading up to my wedding and the day of she handled soooo much! Knowing that she was there to assist and was taking care of all the small details relieved me of so much stress. She also has a mobile suite which I highly recommend! It's adorable and the perfect spot for touch ups and to hide in before the ceremony.
I started following Pink Olive Events well before I was engaged because a friend of mine hired them for their wedding and I fell in love with their online presence, how they answered questions, the vibe they gave off, the information they shared, etc. When I finally got engaged, I think Carisa was probably my 2nd call after my parents! I am super type A and knew I could find and hire all of my vendors and do a lot of the leg work myself, but what I was stressed about was the final execution, set-up/decorating, timeline and vendor coordination, etc. I didn’t want me or my family to have to stress about those tiny details the few weeks prior to the wedding, and certainly not on the day of. I felt instant relief after my call with Carisa and Lexi a month before my wedding, passing them the contracts, details, etc. was like an instant wave of PHEW! Of course, they were involved even earlier despite being hired for the Day Of, they participated in walk throughs, were available via email or call for any questions throughout the 2 years I was engaged. I was able to relax the week prior and focus on enjoying my wedding. They were 100% on top of everything, ever detail, every back up plan, all of it! Their attention to detail was unmatched and they did certain things throughout the event that I wouldn’t have even thought of! I could not have done this without Pink Olive Events, and I highly recommend anyone planning a wedding, whether you need full planning or just someone to get it over the finish line like I did, to hire them ASAP! I cannot express how amazing Pink Olive Events was for us. Our wedding went off without a hitch in June 2022. We got married in a church and then transitioned to a reception about 20 minutes away. Not only were we provided TWO coordinators (one at the venue making sure everything went smoothly and one at the church) we also were provided (as well as ALL of our vendors) a DETAILED agenda. Even to the MINUTE.
Alex is the BEST and Carissa was such an amazing leader. Alex was with us for the rehearsal and even picked up decorations from us so we wouldn't have to worry about the day of. I was so overly impressed my only regret is that we only hired them for day of coordinating and not the entire thing!
If you are looking for an amazing company, coordinator for day of or otherwise LOOK NO FURTHER!!!
I *highly* recommend Pink Olive Events! Carisa was absolutely amazing to work with. Very detail oriented. She offered different tiers of packages to help with our wedding needs. Her website was easy to use and definitely came in handy with helping me stay organized. She was always so quick to respond back with answers to questions I had. She read through all of our vendor contracts and made sure all vendors were paid timely per their contract deadlines. She was able to coordinate all the vendors together for the day of. She made sure the room we got married in looked perfect before our guests starting arriving. I forgot to bring my wedding earrings and hair accessories to the salon the morning of and she was able to run them by to me. All the groomsmen had their boutonnieres on which she helped some of them with. She handed off thank you cards I wrote ahead of time so all the vendors had them. She helped guests find their way to their tables and anything else they asked her about. She oversaw the entire wedding to make sure everything went on time without a hitch. She is one of a kind! She made the entire process look effortless. She was so calm, cool, and collected while troubleshooting any potential issues without me knowing behind the scenes. She was hands down my favorite person to work with. My husband and I are so grateful for all her help.
Carisa is a pro. My now-husband and I both work full time and planning a wedding is seriously full time work. We felt ill equipped to handle things on our own. A coworker gave me Carisa's card and when I met her, I immediately knew we were in good hands. Having her was essential. Some significant things affected our wedding including a pandemic and a nor'easter that necessitated moving the wedding to a different day. Carisa contacted the venue and vendors and orchestrated a change of date change with finesse. If you are on the fence about if you should hire a wedding planner, you should. If you are wondering if you should hire Carisa/Pink Olive Events, you should. Thank you again! Our wedding was a dream, even with all the chaos!
While our wedding ended up near-perfect on the day of, I can't in good conscience give Pink Olive five stars. There were just too many unforced errors on Carisa’s part during the planning process.
The biggest issue was that Pink Olive, in our opinion, was not sufficiently careful about following the COVID protocols we had set for the wedding. This resulted in substituting our day-of coordinator just a month before the wedding. While the timing is likely a coincidence, the fact that we had just sent in her final payment just days before we realized this did not sit well with us.
While Carisa did broadly do a good job on finding great vendors—the florist, DJ, and photographers were highlights—the invitation vendor she booked was bizarrely incompetent. Without asking us, she placed a small deposit on our behalf with this “custom invitations” vendor and started having them make proofs for us. Given the short timeline and her expertise, we didn’t have a problem with this in the first instance as long as the work ended up good. Instead, though, the invitations were just… bad, poorly-designed even to my untrained eye. We spent a month going back and forth over email trying unsuccessfully to get this person to do better work. Eventually, we gave up and made really nice invitations ourselves on a mass-market website with no help from Carisa.
The app that she used to hold all the information from the wedding, Planning Pod, was also strangely not very functional. We ended up using the website from the invitations vendor as our wedding website instead, which again we had to set up ourselves with no help. The whole point of hiring a planner is for them to do the work for you. If they are incapable of performing at the necessary level, what’s the point?
We also felt continual pressure from Carisa to conform our wedding to tradition. We tried to subtly break some of the gender roles with the structure of the wedding - having women as “groomspeople” wearing suits, for instance.
I want to make a clear distinction between this review as it applies to Carisa and to our day-of coordinator, Shannon. Shannon’s coordination on the day of was perfect and deserves five stars. The reason this review is not one-star is the good vendors that Carisa found us and Shannon’s skill on the day of.
Carisa and her crew were a life saver! I contacted her less than 1 month before my wedding in a panic. She got back to me right away and quickly got me organized! She worked with all of my vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. From helping with with table assignments to decorating on the big day, Carisa and her team took the stress out of my wedding day! I can not recommend her enough!
We hired Carisa and Pink Olive Events to manage our day-of coordination and they delivered exceptional service. Leading up to the event, Carisa was always an email or text away. We were planning from Florida, so meeting with vendors in-person in Connecticut was a major challenge. We ended up hiring every vendor she recommended i.e., band, catering, photography, hair/makeup, officiant and florals, and they were all so incredible to work with. The event was seamless and ran on time. Thank you, Carisa and team!
Carisa and her team were invaluable in our wedding planning. We had actually given up already due to COVID and thought our elopement at town hall was enough for us. Carisa presented the option of a microwedding and we were sold! The way she presented all the vendors and the checklists were truly outstanding! They are super professional, ultra-responsive and they make suggestions without making you feel pressured. You as the bride are still the running the show and they make you feel important. Glad we went with Pink Olive Events!
I do not have enough kind words to describe Carisa and how helpful she was in the entire planning process. Carisa not only had an amazing list of vendors that she recommended to us, but she honestly made the entire process stress free which allowed us more time to spend with our 3 year old son. She coordinated with all our vendors as to when to show up the day of so that the only thing we had to think about was getting married. The entire day was perfect thanks to her and I know for a fact it was so perfect thanks to all her help throughout the entire process and the day of.

Since the beginning of our planning journey with Carisa, she was thorough and flexible through many changes due to the pandemic. Our wedding day was met with challenges and stressful moments as a medical emergency occurred with a member of our bridal party just hours before our ceremony was set to begin. Carisa, handled the situation with professionalism and compassion. She worked with our venue to swiftly change the order of events, kept the event moving, and ensured that our guests we’re happy. She kept our bridal party organized and miraculously we completed everything on our timeline despite the craziness of our day. There are countless things Carisa did on our day, that we are so grateful for. From making sure I always had my lip gloss to sharing special words with my Dad before he walked me down the aisle. Thanks to Pink Olive Events, we were able to have the wedding we had always dreamed of. Carisa was more than just a vendor on our day, she was a caring friend. Carisa and Debbie made our wedding day so easy! They were phenomenally thorough with contacting all the vendors and coordinating times, decorations, seating, etc. They thought of things that I didn't event know I needed to think about! If you need a load taken off your wedding planning plate, book Carisa and her team! Totally worth the price (which was very reasonable)!
I don't have enough words to express how vital and incredible Carisa and her team were to our wedding planning. From the start, Carisa & I hit it off, and that alone was incredible - it's so nice to work with someone you have so much in common with! Every single step of the way, Carisa answered our million and two questions and never was impatient or stressed. Her calm, cool, and collected (but still fun and excited!) demeanor was the absolute perfect antidote to all of my pre-wedding anxiety. I quite literally don't think we could have pulled this wedding off without her - she took control, fielded questions and requests from family, guests, and the wedding party, and she and her assistant coordinated everything from vendors to weather worries to a beautiful surprise my family coordinated for me seamlessly from start to finish. I texted her so many times the week of with so many bizarre requests and worries, and she handled it so gracefully (I was STRESSED lol). Literally all we had to worry about was showing up and getting married! Our close family members and wedding party had so many wonderful things to say about her as well. If you want to give yourself the best wedding gift possible, HIRE CARISA!! You absolutely will not regret it!
Where do I start? Carisa and her team are a fabulous group of individuals! They are kind, organized and absolutely wove their magic to make my wedding day truly spectacular! Getting a wedding planner was hands down the BEST decision I made regarding my wedding. I am a neurotic, type A person, but after meeting Carisa, it was so easy to trust her and her team with my special day. I had total trust in their skill and expertise! Carisa coordinated with all of my vendors. She and her team helped bring forth my vision for the reception and provided me with one of the best nights of my life! I highly HIGHLY recommend investing in her and her team. You will not regret one single thing with her by your side!
Like so many couples our plans ended up changing because of the pandemic. We hired Liz for day of coordination, and was there for us, through much more! When we made the final decision (2 months prior) for a slightly adjusted wedding Liz was there anytime we needed her. She had never worked with our venue before, but I would have never known! Having her there the day of, made everything seamless and easy for not just my husband and I, but the entire bridal party. She kept us all in line, not in an overbearing, aggressive way at all! I had also realized a month before that I had forgotten to book hair for my girls, she gave me an amazing recommendation that worked out perfectly! We had a beautiful, fun and relaxed wedding during a pandemic and so much of that is thanks to the ladies at Pink Olive!!! Jill & Martin
We found Carisa with intentions of having her help us for our postponed wedding reception and ultimately decided to take advantage of her split day of coordination package. I am forever grateful that we did!!! As our plans changed again and again, even on the day of with a last minute ceremony switch due to weather, Carisa helped us navigate through everything and allowed us to have a perfect, worry-free ceremony. We also had the blessing of working with Shannon too for our intimate reception, who was equally as fantastic and courteous. Carisa and Shannon were beyond kind, professional, and really know how to take the stress of a wedding off of the couple. We never thought we would feel so at ease on our wedding day, and we truly credit it to having these amazing ladies on our side. Pink Olive was the wedding vendor we never knew we needed and we can not recommend them enough! We look forward to getting to work with Carisa again in July for our reception!
Carisa and Pink Olive Events were an absolute godsend for our Covid wedding!! We originally did not hire a wedding planner for our June wedding, but once Covid hit and we had to change the date 3 times and then faced changing our venue as well, we turned to Pink Olive Events to help guide us. We are so grateful for everything they did and cannot imagine having planned the full wedding without Carisa! She helped us find a new venue, helped us navigate through Covid, decorated/organized the day of and was there for us for any questions or last minute requests. Carisa is very knowledgeable and good at what she does! We cannot thank her enough!!
There are no words to express how grateful we are to have had Carisa and the Pink Olive team help us plan and coordinate our COVID wedding! We were originally working with Carisa for our big wedding celebration and then when everything shut down, we switched to a more simple wedding with just our immediate family and we only had 2 months to get everything done! Carisa went above and beyond to make our day the happiest and most special day any bride could ask for! When I told her our mini wedding plan she filled in every gap, had so many ideas, and she was even able to find us a cake, flowers, and a photographer! She is not only so professional but is willing to go the extra mile for her clients and really listens to what they want their day to be and makes it happen. She made sure our entire day ran on time, which is hard to do with our Italian family, and she made sure we were happy above anything else. I tell her all the time that I cannot wait for us to start planning our anniversary party so she can help us plan that too! When we were planning our big wedding prior to COVID, Carisa was willing to call vendors for us, come to site visits, and really help us with every step from engaged to post wedding! I highly highly highly recommend Carisa and the Pink Olive team if you are looking for any sort of help with making your dream wedding come true!
Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more thanks to Carisa and her team! When we needed to move our wedding from Block Island to CT due to COVID-19 with only 5 weeks to go, she tracked down the PERFECT venue and brought all our vendors together. The wedding itself progressed so smoothly that we were able to relax and truly enjoy the magic of our special day.
I can't even begin to say enough good things about Pink Olive events! I booked Carisa two years prior to our wedding because of all the good things I had heard! Carisa worked with us when the pandemic hit and made sure that she did everything she could possibly do for us! We had to make some changes and go with a micro wedding on our original wedding date. She ensured our wedding day went smoothly and her timeline was perfect for every one of our vendors to utilize! We cannot wait to work with Pink Olive again in April for our larger reception!
One day, scrolling on Facebook, I saw an ad for Pink Olive Events and they were offering a minimony wedding package. Being that I’d always wanted a small intimate wedding and also don’t do well with planning, this seemed like a match made in heaven. I instantly contacted Carisa and from that very first conversation I knew I could trust her. She answered every question I had, and trust me, there were many. With this minimony package, Carisa promised that we’d just have to “show up and get married”, and we did just that. She took care of every detail and her talent showed the minute we arrived. Every vendor that was part of my day was so friendly and professional. Every guest was wowed by the location and the set up of the wedding. The romantic, rustic, riverfront themed wedding day that Carisa created for us was beyond our expectations. Her talents and passion for wedding planning are unmatched and I look forward to referring her to anyone that wants to have a wedding.

Carisa and her team were phenomenal! I can't recommend them highly enough. We used Pink Olive for full planning services, from the very beginning, and Carisa was with us every step of the way. She is a fast and creative problem solver and took the stress off of us so we could just enjoy the process. From setting up hair and makeup trials, touring venues, selecting and mailing save-the-dates and invitations, and putting together 150 party favors, Carisa does it all. She is relaxed and fun to be around, which suited us perfectly. She is also very reasonably priced compared to some other quotes we got. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, DO IT - you won't regret it - and Carisa will help make your wedding everything you want it to be!
I booked with Pink Olive Events a year before my wedding and I am so glad I did! Carisa was with me every step of the way. I met her in her office, she met me at my venue, we had multiple phone conversations, she led my rehearsal and did a fantastic job at my wedding. Choosing to have Carisa work with me on my wedding was the best decision I could have made. Leading up to the wedding was like having an extra girl friend who was knowledgeable about everything and willing to help at every stage of the planning. She was extremely helpful and caring. She understood my vision and worked more than I expected to make every detail and wish happen. She even surprised me with things that I could not make happen myself! On my wedding day, I was able to relax and enjoy every moment because Carisa and her team took care of everything. She is super organized and made sure to fulfill all of my many requests! From little things like bringing me tissues at my reception to the major things like organizing the entire schedule for the day and coordinating every single vendor, Carisa did it all! I cannot thank her enough and I recommend her to everyone!
We found Pink Olive Events through a friend who was a full-time wedding DJ. My husband grew up in CT & asked “Who is the best wedding planner? We need someone great & affordable. ” He said “Pink Olive Events. ” I emailed her immediately. We started with my budget 10k (excluding her fee) I sent her venues I found on Weddingwire. She had done weddings at most of them & knew inside details about each venue. She seriously saved me so much money, she paid for herself. I was living in MD & did not have time to travel to CT to look at venues & caterers. She is the only reason I had a wedding. I knew, I never would have the time or patience to plan my event. Wedding planning is a Full-Time Job! Do you want to be more stressed out on your wedding day?! Things happen you don’t anticipate! My beautiful wedding vail kept snagging on the concrete! Carisa was there to pick it up! Carisa was the calm in the room, she helped with everything. She set up all my decorations & packed my car with all my wedding gifts after the wedding. I woke up & got ready for my wedding, she did everything else. Pink Olive Events is exactly what you want in a wedding planner.
Our wedding, how would one put it, had a lot of logistical challenges. Multiple venues, multiple modes of transportation (we are talking 1.5hrs apart, locations), a large team of vendors, various pieces of decor that needed setup, etc etc etc. We knew we needed someone on the team that was going to wrangle all of that. My words exactly were "I dont want to even think about this stuff the month before".
We reached out to multiple planners, with varying experiences and price ranges - must've reached out to over 10, if not more. Luckily, we were able to find Carisa on weddingwire and theknot, and given her previous reviews decided to reach out. Carisa offered us her various packages, right away, but most importantly (and almost surprisingly) emailed almost immediately after initial contact. Some others took 2 days... 5 days, one a week later. She offers both full wedding planning and month-of planning, with single a-la carta options to customize your wedding. (ie: reduce your stress). Carisa was the 1st vendor we hired, without even securing the venue, thats how confident we were in her ability!
Ok - so why Carisa.
1) She is super attentive to your emails and questions. Before even getting hired, she would answer questions and helped me make decisions on things. I knew if she was able to answer this fast in email, she'd be great at dealing with on the fly stuff, easily.
2) Her a-la carte options brings value. For example she ended up doing our party favors, which im sure was no small task.
3) Super professional - but tries to keep you on track. If something seems wonky with your planning, she'll let you know that perhaps other options should be considered. In a sweet, but "yeah you really dont want to do that" way.
4) For the most part - the month of stuff was totally on her. We drew up a plan and she executed it. She got all vendors on the same page. Everything that was supposed to happen at our wedding, did. I didn't hear or experience any catastrophic emergencies, which may be luck or maybe because Carisa had already handled that behind the scenes.
5) Her personality is very warm and welcoming. My wife was very happy to trust Carisa with the day.
You'll meet a lot of wedding planners, Im sure. But, if you are considering a wedding in CT and absolutely positively want the experience to go smoothly, you HAVE to give Carisa a buzz and see how she can help. You'll be impressed, no doubt, as we were.

Never ever ever in my wildest dreams could I have expected the outstanding level of service I received from Carissa and her team throughout the entire planning process. She left ZERO details out. When we lost our coordinator ten days before our wedding, Carisa stepped in and made last-minute organization look easy. She took on a massive project with basically no notice and delivered beautifully - in short, she saved our wedding. We felt secure in her warm presence and her copious spreadsheets. Working with Pink Olive Events was a wonderful experience. Carisa and her team are professional and effective, and it was clear from day 1 that we were in good hands. Carisa was absolutely amazing. She was completely accessible and answered all of our crazy questions throughout the process, and was very attentive on the day of. The day of timeline was very detailed and thoughtful and if anything went wrong, I never knew it! She handled everything flawlessly so that we could just sit back and enjoy the day. I had no idea what I was doing throughout the planning process, but Carisa helped me understand everything that needed to be done and helped us execute tasks properly. It is no doubt that our day was so perfect because of all of her help!
I highly recommend Carissa and her team! On the day of my wedding (this I only learned days after the weeding) everything went south in regards to our caterer and the delivery of linens. Somehow Carisa and her team made sure that everything came out perfect, from bees being sprayed (no it didn’t kill them), to making sure the photographer took photos of all of those dreamy ideas I had, to holding my hand when I was shaking! She really did go above and beyond for us! Thank you Carisa and her team. You were fenomenal!

I contacted Pink Olive Events about 2 1/2 -3 weeks before my wedding date looking for support for the ceremony, and to no surprise Carisa and her team were there to help. Carisa reached out to get all of the appropriate information and details necessary to take control, relieving us of any stress for the day. Carisa and team were able to run the entire rehearsal, with the priest, to make sure the bridal party was comfortable in their roles for the next day. Come wedding day they were even bigger rock stars; fielding phone calls from my mother, picking up ice and coolers for our guests on the 100+ degree day and so much more. If you are debating about the need for a day of coordinator, my suggestion is yes, everyone needs one and Pink Olive Events should be them... Well worth getting a day of coordinator to help everything go smoothly. Liz and Diana were amazing and helped make everything perfect. My day would have been totally different (stressful) without them. They set up my decorations to a T the vision I was going for and packed them all away at the end. This is very important because it would have been my family members doing this which is silly-they are there as guests and the day flies by you need every minute you can get!
Carisa was a fantastic decision. She helped organize the vendors and decor. She took away the stress of making sure everything was set up to my standard. When I arrived to the venue I was blown away with how perfect she made my vision.
We had a wonderful experience working with Carisa from planning through out wedding night. Clarissa was wonderful to work with. I was a do it yourself bride. I depended on her totally to do all the setup on the day of our wedding. What she created exceeded my vision. While Clarissa was the main point of contact, I had equally as much confidence in her staff. Even my husband agreed that hiring her "was genious."
