We got started in this industry by working events from the ground up and before we knew it we were building a business. With years of experience and knowledge-sharing, we have fostered valuable relationships with island vendors and venues. Our team of coordinators includes a design consultant who will work with you throughout the process to create your vision of the perfect wedding day. Other clients + vendors have told us that what sets us apart from other planners is our ability to listen to our clients, making each wedding special and reflective of the newlyweds. Kara Leandro and the PlanItMV team are an absolute must-have when planning your wedding. I’m genuinely sad that I no longer have a need to chat with Kara on a weekly basis, now that our knot has been tied. I would email her the most random of wedding planning questions and she would respond in a professional manner, but also make you feel like you’ve been friends for years by offering candid advice. I could go on and on, but trust me when I say you do not need to look any further for an amazing event coordinator.

My daughter was "Island Grown" and she knew Martha's Vineyard is where she would be married. She would be married to the love of her life, barefoot, by the ocean she played in as a child, and they would dance the night away in a tent on the edge of the scenic golf course she had worked at, as a college student. Ashley our lead planner and the staff of Plan It turned their vision into a beautiful reality. The day was perfect with Ashley and Brooke's oversight and a job well done by the talented vendors recommended by Plan It MV. Ashley's guidance through the planning process, her attention to detail, ability to listen and her presence the day of was invaluable! We along with all our guests completely enjoyed the day thanks to Ashley and the Plan It team!!

Plan it Martha's Vineyard was our event coordinator for the welcome dinner, the wedding and the farewell brunch. They also made themselves available for any and all questions that I had about small details for a full weekend of events on the island. They always responded quickly and their suggestions were all great. The people they recommended for transportation, wait staff, bartenders, etc. were all wonderful. Kate, Brooke and Cinnamon were responsive, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable about everything on the Vineyard. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Plan It was amazing!!! Our wedding was the best day of our lives! The day was seamless, and the decorations and flow exceeded our expectations. With Plan It, we didn’t have to worry about a thing- everything was taken care of and perfect. They created our dream wedding and we couldn’t be more grateful. Best planners EVER!

The ladies of Plan It MV are absolutely wonderful, helping with every small details, guiding through the often daunting task of planning a wedding. They were so responsive throughout the process and we couldn’t have made it through our day and the whole planning process without them. Our wedding was at my grandparents farm in West Tisbury last summer. Since we are both from off-island towns in Massachusetts, we thought it would be wise to hire an island-based wedding planner, and we are so glad that we did! Doriana and Kate were so easy to work with and were accessible every time we needed them. Most of the services, like the tent, DJ, and catering were all island based- we would have been so lost without the help of local wedding planners. I would recommend them to anyone planning to get married on Martha’s Vineyard, especially if you don’t live on the island. My family and friends all agree that every detail of the wedding was beautiful and completely unforgettable! Thanks again!

The staff at Plan It Martha's Vineyard are extremely detail oriented and truly care about making their clients' special day perfect. They communicate well with vendors and make sure that their clients' need are met. On an island that is home to many great wedding and event planners, Plan It is the best of them all.

We really enjoyed having a day of planner for our daughter's wedding. Doriana made sure all of the special touches we had planned as part of the wedding were carried out. Doriana made sure the rehearsal ran smoothly, and she was very helpful in the weeks before the wedding when we needed advice. It was so nice not to have to run around before or after the wedding to make sure things were getting done - thanks so much!

Plan It MV 100% delivered on response time and was always there if you needed them. This was huge to me planning a wedding from NYC. One of my biggest complaints about my experience with another popular event planner on the island was response time and rudeness. Doriana was always there to talk to. On the day of I could not have asked for a more relaxed person to be handling everything. The DIY decore and coordination of all that was planned was well executed by Plan It MV. I showed up with absolutely no complaints as the bride and had the best time ever! Thank you for making it such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

I couldn't have planned my wedding without the help of Plan It MV! They were easy to work with, responded quickly and took the time to meet in person. They were helpful in contacting other vendors and coordinating the little details that are easily overlooked. Their knowledge of the island was extremely helpful. It was clear that they cared about me and my wedding, even though I knew they had other brides on my wedding day. The day of the wedding they were there throughout the event and making sure all the small details were perfect. Without a doubt they have everything you need to plan and execute a perfect wedding- rain or shine!

Plan It MV was amazing from start to finish. Kate promptly and honestly answered emails and questions throughout the months of planning, offering suggestions while respecting our budget. She was available to review selections and meet with us. In the final weeks she confirmed all vendors and circulated the timeline. Her "day of" services were invaluable-offering us peace of mind while keeping everything running smoothly. Plan It MV was a huge, important part of the wedding-we couldn't have pulled this off without Kate!
