The truth is we went above and beyond.  Allie signed a contract with a venue promising to hire a caterer on their preferred list, that didn't happen. Then on the contract that she signed it stated the caterer would be responsible for sweeping, setting chairs, putting up chairs,, wiping down tables, doing bathroom checks, emptying trash in the restroom , sweeping and mopping. That is the agreement your daughter and son in law made. They hired the caterer prior to hiring us.  Therefore acknowledging they read the contract they signed with the venue  this was to be articulated to the caterer the expectation of the venue.  The caterer continuously said she was only paid for food and never told when hired about other responsibilities. The venue has a list of all duties for caterers posted in the kitchen.  In this industry it is standard for caterers to wipe the kitchen down, tables, and sweep.  But what I did, including my team, was step in and do everything that the caterers did not do. That allowed your daughter Allie, not to be in breach of contract with the venue.  My contract with your daughter does not stipulate that I would have to do whatever the vendors that she hired did not do.  I have never had to in 15 years remind a caterer of cleaning at the end of the evening, even the basics like leftover food.  I respectfully tell you that you are being dishonest.  What we did is whatever it took so their day could keep going. We could have just stood there and said nope that's not our job and we weren't paid for that. As you can see, you ran to post this 20 minutes after I sent Allie an email explaining what we had to do as a result of the caterer she hired not wanting to do what not only the venue asked her to do but we also articulated to her were her responsibilities. It is because we kept going no matter what , that after the fact a client can decide to say No, we aren't paying your staff for the additional services they rendered.  We saved them from breach of contract with the venue.  I apologize the layout of ceremony chairs was not to specification, I wanted everything to be just as Allie wished. I was not aware until 45 minutes before that no one else was going to do the ceremony chairs.  It was just  us and some awesome groomsmen that had a small window to get it done.  Your comments are disrespectfully vengeful. My staff was on their hands and knees cleaning.    Allie and Justin were a wonderful couple to work with , I truly enjoyed them every step of the way.  It is unfortunate that our efforts were turned into an unfair negative review.
