Portland Florist Shop

I went into The Flower Shop and spoke with the owner Rachel. I explained that I did not have a large budget for flowers but I would like a few nice arrangements. I showed her some photos of arrangements I liked and told her about my colors and my vision. Rachel definitely "got" what I was going for. She looked at my photos and made some suggestions on how to make them big and showy and cut the cost. I felt confident in her abilities and was so pleasantly surprised and the price she quoted me. It actual made me gasp in disbelief but not because it was high, but because it was so much less than I had ever expected. The arrangements were stunning and even more beautiful than I had imagined. I hadn't ordered a boutonniere for my guy and when I picked up my flowers they told me that they noticed I hadn't ordered a boutenniere so they made one for me at no charge. It was perfect. My experience with The Flower Shop was wonderful. Rachel was pleasant to work with and the flowers were stunning.

Rachel is one of the owners of the shop and after learning a few months before my wedding that the initial flower person no longer worked there, she worked really hard to make sure I was happy. I was looking for anemones and apparently this year they are not happening so much. Rachel ended up using a new vender and looking all day for alternatives for flowers at the market just in case the quality wasn't what she wanted them to be. Talk about great customer service! I ordered the bouquets and boutonnieres from them and found them to be reasonably priced and long lasting. The flowers ended up looking great and great in the photos. They might not have been 100% what I had hoped for (90%) but they were beautiful and the flowers I had wanted initially so there were no complaints (it wasn't their fault the flowers I picked didn't hold up well for the boutonnieres). This is not the first time I have ordered flowers from this shop and it certainly won't be the last. They really have great customer service and do excellent and beautiful work!

I told my designer that I didn't have a great image in my head of what I wanted, and that she was the expert. I gave her some guidelines and told her to be creative. I wanted simple flowers, because my ceremony was in a botanical garden. I am SO GLAD I gave her this leeway. Not only did I not have to worry about the bouquets, but they were so gorgeous. Multiple people commented on my bouquet, which cascaded. On top of it, my flowers cost less than 300 dollars for delivery, 7 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, a bridal bouquet and a toss bouquet. I even changed things at the last minute (a week before), and she didn't charge me for small additions (crystals in my bouquet). My only complaint was it was a little difficult to get a hold of her, but the end result was on time and magnificent, I can only say that she was more on top of things than I was.
