say enough about how great they both were! We were able to meet and do a trial before the wedding to discuss the look I wanted both in terms of makeup and hair, and they both ensured I was completely comfortable with the end results. All of the other women who had their hair and makeup done loved the end result. Allie and Lindsay were both excellent about ensuring everyone had as much or as little "extra" in their makeup or hair. For instance, my mother-in-law is not as comfortable with a lot of glamour, so Lindsay and Allie were great about ensuring her hair and makeup were more natural compared to some of the others. They are both also just such kind people who were a welcome addition to our morning of getting ready - everyone had rave reviews for them. Primped is a wonderful company with great people who work for them. My hair and makeup lasted all night and I loved the way I looked :) The cost is definitely worth it - you won't regret hiring them!

On wedding day, Victoria and Christine arrived on time and got everyone ready on the time line. They were a joy to have in the getting ready room and made everyone look their absolutely best.
The booking process was smooth as well.

On the morning of the wedding, they were early and on schedule! Every detail was executed with care and precision, and the final look felt timeless, refined, and effortlessly beautiful. My hair and makeup held perfectly all day while still feeling natural and comfortable. They made small tweaks I requested from my trial and it turned out amazing.
Looking back at photos, I still feel like the best version of me — which is the greatest gift. We are so grateful for their talent and would recommend them wholeheartedly!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Kimmy for my hair and makeup, and she was absolutely incredible. She really listened to what I envisioned and took the time to understand my style. During my trial, she made me feel so comfortable sharing feedback and making small adjustments, which meant so much to me. I never once felt rushed or dismissed—she truly wanted me to feel 100% confident.
On the wedding day, everything came together beautifully. My hair and makeup looked flawless, lasted all day, and still felt like me. I felt confident, comfortable, and so well taken care of.
My bridesmaids also had such a wonderful experience with the other stylists on the team. Everyone felt listened to, looked amazing, and the energy in the room was calm, fun, and professional all at once. It truly set the tone for the entire morning.

forgo the stress of getting myself ready so I messaged Primped because I thought their prices and stipulations on their site were fair. They assigned me to Kimmy as my artist and I cannot give her enough praise. She is so down to earth and honest and also very good at explaining everything and she did a phenomenal job.
I had my makeup and hair trial and wore it to work and got so many compliments.
The day of my wedding I unfortunately broke out with some small spots of acne because hormones but she did such a great job that it wasn't even noticeable. I had so many compliments and I felt so beautiful during my big day.
Also, the communication with Justine was flawless. She handled everything from the coordinating standpoint and there were no hiccups with planning.
I would 100% recommend Primped!!

Being able to test my style out ahead of time allowed me to not have to be fully with it for my 6am start. Sabrina and Kimmy were outstanding for makeup and hair, respectfully. Even though it was very hot and humid outside and no air-conditioning in the church, my very long hair barely dropped and my makeup stayed perfect all day. Primped was responsive to all communications, sent quotes for services in a timely manner, and kept me informed about any changes. They were also proactive about asking follow-up questions whenever something needed clarification.
I did a bridal hair and makeup trial with Jamie A several weeks before my wedding. She asked me to send inspiration photos for my wedding look, and despite the influx of AI-generated content on Pinterest these days, we were able to capture the essence of what I wanted. It was nice to meet her in person before the wedding, and I appreciated the opportunity to give feedback on my look and share how it held up throughout the day. She took detailed notes on what to adjust for the wedding day. I was initially apprehensive about doing a hair and makeup trial, but I’m so glad I did—if you can afford it, I highly recommend it.
On the day of the wedding, the entire team arrived at the Van Dusen Mansion 15 minutes early to set up and spent four hours with us. Everyone was happy with their hair and makeup, and the artists provided minor touch-ups toward the end of their time to ensure we were photo-ready. I loved everyone’s final look.
I was especially concerned about my elderly mother-in-law, who has short hair and a very particular way she prefers it styled, including a blowout. Jamie was incredibly accommodating and executed it perfectly. This meant a lot to me because I wanted her to be fully included in the getting-ready process. She looked stunning.

On the day of the wedding, Melanie was calm, organized, and so warm to be around. She created the most relaxed, enjoyable getting-ready environment, which set the perfect tone for the rest of the day. Her attention to detail is exceptional; she checked lighting, made thoughtful adjustments, and ensured everything looked flawless from every angle. My makeup felt lightweight and lasted all night—no touch-ups needed. My hair held perfectly through photos, dancing, and even a bit of wind, all while still looking soft and effortless.
The rest of the team worked seamlessly with the rest of the bridal party as well. Everyone looked stunning, and each person felt like the best version of themselves—not overdone, not cookie-cutter, but polished and confident. The team's talent is matched only by her kindness and professionalism.

he was incredible to work with. From the very beginning—starting with my makeup and hair trial—she truly brought my vision to life. She listened closely to what I wanted and made it happen beautifully. Kimmy is incredibly knowledgeable about both makeup and hair, and she gave me great tips and product recommendations. I started using some of the products she suggested, and by the wedding day, my skin looked healthier and my hair was silky and shiny.
I loved my makeup and hair on the big day! For makeup, I wanted a natural look, and Kimmy totally delivered. It felt like me—just elevated. After crying happy tears during the ceremony, I was sure my makeup was gone—but to my surprise, it stayed perfectly intact. You can’t even tell in the photos which ones were taken before or after the tears! I have really thick, long hair and wore it half down with curls. Usually, my hair doesn’t hold a style for long, but the curls lasted all day—even through dancing!
Not only is Kimmy an expert in her craft, but she’s also such a warm, kind person. She was so easy to be around and brought such a calm, joyful energy to the day.

read the pricing information sheet and the contract prior to signing the contract. About 10-12 weeks prior to our wedding I got an email asking to send over the hair length for each bridesmaid. They wanted to charge extra for ladies who had longer hair from the start before even doing their hair. Plus we had 2 ladies with shorter hair and we didn't get a discount for her spending less time on their hair. I confronted them about it stating I didn't see it anywhere on the pricing nor was it in the contract I signed. I was told it was in the Q&A section. There are so many different vendors, that I don't think a bride should have to go through every vendor's Q&A to find additional pricing. They should have them up front in the pricing sheet or put it in the contract we sign. I ended up having to pay an additional fee prior to the stylist even meeting my bridesmaids because the tip was already included in the price so I was worried if I fought it, the stylist wouldn't do a good job on our hair knowing she already got her 20% tip. Weddings are already so expensive, to throw in hidden fees 10 weeks before the big event seems obsurd to me.
