Nicole managed our vendors and made our wedding day stress-free. She was wonderful and very helpful. Her upbeat and positive spirit and attitude was contagious and added to making this process successful and special!

I am very disappointed with the type of service Nicole provided. I had 6 months to plan a wedding so I chose to get the full service. She lacks organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills. It was hard to rely on Nicole to get things properly done. At every turn, my fiance and I had to put out so many fires. I was more successful communicating with the vendors myself and getting things accomplished. For example, one week before the wedding, we found out we could not have our rehearsal at the event space and that we would need an alternative place to rehearse. When I voiced my concern and my desire to have it at the venue, she said she was doing her best. She also told us that details are usually finalized a month before the wedding date. To this point, I asked 'why was this not shared with us a month ago?' She never took accountability for her wrongs. Fortunately, once I spoke directly to the vendor, he worked with us and we had our rehearsal at the venue. Also, my marriage license did not get signed the day of the ceremony because Nicole did not ask for the license. The DJ even expressed concern due to mixed messages because he knew what I wanted and Nicole was doing opposite of that. She did not cue important events to the DJ, like cutting of the cake. When I received my extra invitations a few days before the wedding, I saw firsthand how Nicole did not properly assemble the invitation suite, taping the velvet band to the back of the invitation, opposite of the template shown to us when we met with the stationery company. Nicole's services include distributing final payments and gratuities as needed. She does not do this nor did she discuss gratuities with me. I provided her with specifics for the ceremony procession and my honorary bridesmaids did not enter in the correct order nor were they seated as I instructed. She says that she ensures everything runs smoothly and that is false based on my personal experience. Despite all of these mishaps, she somehow found time to line dance during the reception. I had lost all confidence in her ability to effectively manage my wedding day. A few days prior, she texted and said her assistant would be unable to attend. I adamantly expressed my dissatisfaction with her not having an assistant. The day of rehearsal, to my surprise and delight, a very professional planner was present to 'assist' although it was very evident that this lady was a true professional and leader. Also, communication and proper planning is not Nicole's strength. At one point, my calls to her went straight to voicemail, she would not respond to texts, and would not answer my fiance's call. That same day, I had my trainer call within a 30 minute turnaround of this occurrence and she answered the phone. Wow! She was the incompetent one yet had the problem. My vendors even expressed their concerns and were very sad for me. My wedding was on New Year's Eve. Of course Christmas is a week prior so if you are going to be out of pocket for 4 days, that should have been something communicated in advance rather than the day before. The unfortunate thing, she did not apologize once for her any mistakes and oversights. She does not provide the services she guarantees. She is flighty and airy, not structured. Definitely a disappointment. I will be filing a suit. That's how dissatisfied I am.

Nicole Moore at Purple Door Planning was one of my most treasured vendors. Without her professionalism and expertise, my wedding would not have gone off so well. She went above and beyond to assist me with planning and executing my wedding. One of her best qualities is giving supportive advice and problem solving! We I speak to others about my wedding, I always give her a glowing review!

Nicole was great! She was organized and handled all of the details for the day of. All I had to do was show up!

I was recommended Nicole Moore at Purple Door Planning by another vendor. My husband and I were engaged in May at Disney World and married 4 months later in September, and on top of the short notice, we were getting married in Memphis but we live in Alaska!!! So even though I’m originally from Memphis, we needed assistance and someone with experience in the industry to help us plan and decide on vendors and venues for our wedding! We were originally expecting about 75 guests but that grew to about 100 once everything was said and done. We ended up being wed at the Memphis Botanic Gardens at the Blecken pavilion and the reception also there at Sara’s Place. Nicole and I bonded quickly thousands of miles apart so being able to finally hug her and see how much hard work she had put into planning our wedding the day before at the rehearsal was so incredibly awesome. I was completely overwhelmed with gratitude and love for this wonderful stranger who I’ve grown to admire. She truly loves what she does! She is professional, responsive, dedicated, and kind! I am so grateful I found her. No one else could have pulled off our happily ever after quite like she did. From our Cinderella carriage to my special tribute to my daddy who has passed on to helping wrangle family members for our sparkler grand exit, if you are in the fence don’t be! NICOLE IS AMAZING!!! BOOK HER!!!

Nicole of Purple Door Planning was such a huge help in planning and executing my stepdaughter's wedding! She was with us every step of the way from recommending vendors, working out the timeline, and helping us make decisions so that our day was perfect. The work Nicole did on the day of the wedding was priceless and we were able to fully enjoy the day without worrying about all of the little details. As the mother of the bride, it took several interviews to find a wedding planner who actually listened to me, my daughter and son-in-law. I needed someone who would collaborate, bring useful ideas, and suggestions without being too pushy. I am pleased to say I found that in Purple Door Planning. Nicole and her staff were excellent in planning, listening, and executing the wedding. Our wedding was fairly large and at The Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis during Covid and on a holiday weekend, so we required quite a bit of customized event details. Managing all the vendors was especially tricky- but the Purple Door Planning staff handled it all. We had an amazing wedding - My family is very happy with the work.

If you’re on the fence about hiring PurpleDoor or a coordinator in general, let this review be your sign to look no further and absolutely get one! Nicole is the absolute best. She made sure all of my wedding dreams not only came true, but went so smoothly and without a hitch! She’s an amazing coordinator and person. I cannot say enough about her and all she does. From lighting my million flameless candles/lights, to attaching special items to my bouquet, to bustling my ridiculous train, to making sure all my vendors knew where to go and ensuring their arrival, to keeping my family in line, she did it all! You cannot go wrong with her. Your day will be in the absolute best hands.

Purple Door planning did an excellent job of managing the changes and assisting in decision making during a very challenging time. I couldn't have expected more from a wedding planner, particularly wedding day stress management. Nicole Moore is outstanding in her ability to manage a large event and very easy to work with.

Nicole has helped tremendously through every step of our wedding. She went out of her way to help me and jimmy in planning. She’s saved the day so many times. We couldn’t have ran more efficiently without her. After this whole crazy thing wedding experience, jimmy and I view her almost like family now. We can’t thank her more for all she has done for us.

Nicole was profession, honest, down to earth, and had a sense of humor. We enjoyed having her help us with our special day and would not have changed anything about it.
