We ordered our wedding aisle runner from Raphael's and it was absolutely perfect! They made the renting process easy and the runner was high quality. Would highly recommend!
We rented our wedding chairs, tables, heating lamps, and lighting setup from here, and are glad we did! I was worried that using a big corporation they would be less personal, but that wasn't our experience at all! We were impressed with their friendly front desk staff, and their responsiveness to our wedding planner and our emails. They were really dedicated to getting all the details right! Esther went out of her way to be super responsive and incorporate our special and/or unusual requests for setup, which was super nice of her. I am really impressed with their professionalism, and if I have a big even we'll use them again. (Btw if you're wondering between the cheapest chairs or the next step up, get the next one up lol. They're so pretty.)
They were accommodating when I was indecisive and kept changing my mind on items needed for the wedding and also helped out when I needed it for the rehearsal dinner.
We rented from them for our wedding. Everything got there on time and everything was in good condition. There was a miscommunication right before the wedding, but everything got straightened out in time. There were tons of options in their warehouse, and the prices were reasonable.
Steve was really easy to work with. We went back and forth with what we needed in order to accommodate for weather changes. He made it really easy to change our reservation. The set up/ tear down crew were very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. A huge shout out to the electricians who were able to accommodate our changes during set up with our lighting. Everyone did such an awesome job and really made our day one to remember.
Our wedding planner hired this rental company for us after running price estimates. I felt their delivery fees were a bit high, but they are probably standard for this business. They were on time and very efficient. They came recommended by our ceremony site.
There are a lot of party rental companies in San Diego, and we ultimately chose Raphaels because they offered patio tables & market umbrellas that fit right into the tables. We specifically wanted these for our outdoor, day-time wedding. We also rented a dance floor, chairs, misc other tables, and linens from them.
The best thing about our experience was working with Steve there! He was always super patient with my questions and changes, and was wonderful in helping us plot out our reception space. He really was a joy to have in the planning process and in dealing with some mix-ups during the drop-off and pick up.
So just ensure you have diligent notes, and good communication with your venue and coordinator, so if there is a mix-up, you can clear it up quickly. Steve was really helpful in getting things straightened out.
I've used Raphael's for a number of years for mostly professional reasons. This is the first time I used them for personal needs. For the most part, they were prompt, excellent to work with. Price is a bit pricey, in my opinion (especially delivery fee). My main disappointment was that I wanted to use 4 Greek columns/pillars to line the wedding ceremony aisle. Less than 2 weeks out they called to say that one had been broken, and they did not have a replacement. I was quite shocked to find out the retailer who claims to have the largest inventory only had 4 pillars all together, with no replacements (they checked- they only had 4 in inventory, period). I figured out another way to have a similar effect, but it was not quite what I envisioned. Still, overall, I have no hesitation in recommending them. They brought what I wanted, delivered it AND set it up for fairly reasonable prices. THANK YOU for helping to make our wedding day go so well!
I worked with Laurie, and she was amamzing! From set-up to tear down, everything was seamless! They were definitely the most accommodating/affordable company I spoke with for market lighting at a beach event.
For our small wedding, we only needed table-top linens, chair covers, and flower pedestals for the ceremony. Raphael's worked with us like we were a huge order. Perfect and seamless.
This rental vendor was suggested by my venue and did offer competitive prices compared with other rentals vendors even though they all seem like they are over-priced I guess that is just the business of wedding planning...anyway, the lady I spoke with was very nice but they need to rework however they do things there because whoever she passed me along to to get me a quote totally forgot about me and then when I sent questions back I was ignored again...a few weeks later she asked me why I hadn't decided and after I stated that I went with someone else because no one ever responded to me I got an apology from her manager but I explained if they can't even get that straight how could I trust that they would be able to get it right on the day of the wedding when it really mattered..I wouldn't trust a company on such an important day if I fell through the cracks twice just trying to get a quote.
We went simple and only needed tables and chairs. They actually overbooked the chair we originally wanted but upgraded us, no problem. The upgraded chairs looked amazing on the lush lawn. They were on time and we received everything we ordered.
Raphaels, was great to work with. They were easy to add to and make changes as needed.
They worked with my venue and helped with the set up.
We live in Michigan and had a destination wedding in California. Julie worked with us from beginning to end and helped make our day perfect! She even came out to meet with us at our venue site to go over our ideas/needs. She was onsite the day of our wedding and helped problem solve any minor setup issues that arose -- I can't say thank you enough for that! She had some great advise for our lanterns and if there was any questions I had that she wasn't sure about, she was quick to find the answer! I would recommend Raphaels to any bride looking for rentals!
I like Raphael's Rental for two main reasons: they are efficient and the price is good. I only rent chairs, lights, and some tables from them, the quality is not the best, but the price is good.
We visited the Miramar location several times, and all but once were warmly greeted, and eagerly served. They had a great selection of plates and were competitively priced. The delivery & pick-up was prompt and courteous as well. We had 35 guests and from an expense and environmental stand point, I thought it best to rent/reuse than buy new items.
Raphaels was timely, efficient and delivered everything we ordered. There were no hidden fee's and everything looked as expected.
I got most of my rentals from Raphael's. They were prompt, reliable and have a great reputation. They were very accommodating when I had to make changes last minute to my order. They had a fabulous selection. Prices were great and they even matched prices for one item that was less expensive at another rental company. Also, be sure to check the monthly specials that they have on their website. I was able to upgrade to a much nicer chair for almost the same price as the less expensive one. Great company. Would definitely use them again.
The quality of everything was nice and we had no problems renting with this company. Our wedding wouldn't have been so nice without the help of Raphaels! Great company to rent from.
Great prices and friendly service
rental for chairs was a great price, they really worked with me to get what i needed. Additionally the number kept changing up until the day of the wedding and they were always flexible.
We used Raphael's Party Rentals for the rehearsal dinner. They were on time and put the chairs/tables/linens were I asked. However, a few days after the wedding, we received a bill for damaged linens. The bill stated that sun damaged had destroyed the linens. The funny part was...It was so cloudy the day of our rehearsal dinner, that the sun had never come out! When we called Raphaels, no one would get back to us about the claim, and after repeatedly calling, they finally dropped the charges! Beware of this scam...make sure you check before paying! Also, Raphael's is very expensive! I would look into other companies
Rented Popcorn lighting and lanterns for our outdoor wedding!!! It was beautiful
