Ravishing Radish Catering

, culinary creativity, and of course the truly delicious food. As a plant-based couple, we wanted a fully vegan wedding menu but that since most of our guests wouldn't be vegan, we needed something that everyone would be happy to eat. We also have a number of favorite menu items from our own home cooking that we really wanted to have represented somehow in the menu. Oh, and throw in we had one severe peanut allergy and one gluten free guest in the group. So with all that - we knew we had to find a really special caterer who could work with us for our special day. Ravishing Radish not only rose to the challenge but vastly exceed our expectations. They did a stunning family style plant-based menu that had all the guests exclaiming they couldn't believe there was no dairy or meat; and they even worked to incorporate one of my personal recipes into the meal. The appetizers were delicious too - plant-based or not, when (not if!) you work with Ravishing Radish you have to try the edamame wasabi wonton bites - wow! The team also worked with us to create two delicious cocktails including one non-alcoholic one using our favorite ingredients. What really set Ravishing Radish apart was the quality of the food, the lovely service, and the little details - they hunted down specialty items we had mentioned in passing (like a particular brand of plant-based milk, and our favorite brand of non-alcoholic spirit). I could not recommend Ravishing Radish more highly!

e of pandemic (Covid-19). Over the course of several months, we were constantly changing our plans - postponing, cancelling, and un-cancelling. Ravishing Radish was patient and worked with us during every step - making sure that we knew they would do all they could for us. We originally planned a ~230 person wedding with them, but ended up with a 30 person microwedding. They made the planning process as easy as could be, given the situation. The food was absolutely delicious - especially the hors d'oeuvres. Our duet entrée (sirloin steak and Alaskan halibut) were completely devoured by our guests, and they only had positive remarks on the food. Table settings were awesome, and they worked with us on changing color schemes for linens and napkins (we shifted from spring to fall due to a reschedule), and we were able to re-plan everything remotely. Thank you again Lisbet and team - you guys were an absolute pleasure to work with. We will be recommending your services to our friends and family!

ng up to the day were enormously helpful, flexible, and encouraging. We did a pescatarian buffet with tray-passed hors d'oeuvres, and in addition they took care of setting up all the tables, chairs, linens, and even helped us out with our centerpieces when we were running short on time. Such great food and wonderful people; I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

e, quinoa, and coffee, so I was having a really hard time finding a caterer who could make delicious food that I could eat, and that my guests would enjoy. Ravishing Radish did a spectacular job of creating tray passed hors d’oeuvres and an amazing dinner spread that was all GF, dairy free, egg free, and all my allergies free. We had pork skewers, balsamic vinegar fruit skewers, a walnut and stone fruit salad, fingerling potatoes, wild rice, grilled carrots, asparagus and green beans, delicious herbed chicken with tomatoes atop, and salmon with candied onions on top. All amazing and many guests came up to me to say how the food was wonderful. We had two bars, a champagne toast, and a number of waiters helping out. The day of the wedding went smoothly and I know this staff and the kitchen did a wonderful job making and serving the food, as well as setting everything up and tearing down exactly to my specifications and this is why they get five stars from me. One word of caution, their packages and rentals can be high priced ($45 to rent a high chair...), and occasionally the woman I worked with over email didn’t fully respond to my questions or was quite delayed in answering my emails. In the end all went well! I would use them again in a heartbeat, I was beyond pleased with the quality of the food and that they had worked with all of my allergies to create an amazing spread.

lt to get in touch with our point of contact the closer we got to the wedding. We would be trying to figure out key details, and she would take a week or more to respond (and in several cases didn't respond at all and had to be contacted again). She also seemed to have trouble keeping track of details, even about things we had discussed with her in previous meetings and emails. The lack of prompt communication was unnecessary stress in the months leading up to the wedding. The food was okay, and I think most of our guests enjoyed it, but the quality was a far cry from what we were served at our tasting. I think that is to be expected to some extent due to the need to prepare and transport food ahead of time. But, for example, there is no reason to serve big flakes of freshly grated parmesan and the freshest produce at the tasting if that is not what is going to be served at the event; it simply created false expectations. For reasons that we can only guess at, dinner was also delayed by twenty or so minutes. Our assumption is that they were hoping the weather would clear up so they wouldn't have to carry food through the rain, but we were not consulted in that decision and neither were the maid of honor or best man, who were serving as points of contact. Instead, we all sat down to dinner, finished our salads, and then sat wondering where the rest of the food was. It wasn't a long delay, but it was yet another sign of inefficiency and lack of organization. If we were to do it all again, I do not think Ravishing Radish would be our pick for catering. Especially with the prices they're charging, I'm not sure they're worth it.

t additions with dietary restrictions (sigh. thanks fam.), and Annalee worked with the chef to make last minute adjustments--which she did not need to do. She was responsive, professional, and thought of every little detail that we failed to think of. Our guests really loved all the food the day of the wedding. The braised beef short ribs were tender, a true feat when serving 150 people. The mac and cheese was also delicious, and our vegetarian and gluten free friends really enjoyed their meal too. I think everyone raved the most about the appetizers. We did the grilled cheese shooters and the button mushrooms. Guests still talk about those! I really appreciated that they brought some appetizers up to my husband and I while we were signing our marriage certificate with some champagne. It can be tough to find a second to eat during a wedding as the bride and groom, and it was so sweet that they took care of us. They also did bar services for us. They allowed us to provide our own alcohol--big cost saver for us--and we used their bar tenders. The bar tenders were wonderful! So friendly and very fast. They quickly learned to make my husband and I's signature drinks, which everyone loved. Seriously five stars!

She was willing to work closely with us and take a lot of her time to plan and finalize the food, design and flowers (through their Ravissant floral design - which is also wonderful and highly recommended). We were invited to several of their events, and the chefs made us several separate small plates of food we wanted to try (planned ahead through Vickie). She even had made samples of the bouquets/flower designs I shared with her through Pinterest and had it ready at the events. On the wedding day, people RAVED about the food. We still have people bring up how amazing the food was and how it was the best food they've had at a wedding. They accommodated us in so many ways that I can't write them all. We're so appreciative of their great work and glad we chose them to be our caterer.

Not only were the food samplings amazing, but the customer service was above and beyond and continued to be throughout the entire process. Annalee and her team helped us to design the ideal menu, including gluten free and vegetarian meals for certain guests. I can't tell you the number of guests who told us our food was the best food they had ever had at a wedding (the short ribs were a HUGE hit!). Prior to the ceremony, I asked a few members of the Ravishing Radish staff if they had a mint or piece of gum with them. Unfortunately, they did not, so I went upstairs in our venue to get ready for the big walk down the aisle. Less than 5 minutes later, a member of the Ravishing Radish team served me (and my husband...just in case!) a mint on a platter. I was so appreciative and couldn't believe someone had gone to find me a mint...and delivered it on a silver platter! Throughout the entire evening, the staff kept everything running smoothly. From the food service, to help with passed champagne I requested, to the clean up, and general kindness to all guests...I would say they are truly the best option when it comes to Seattle catering. My parents have hired many caterers in the Seattle area for their business - and they agreed...Ravishing Radish is top notch. If you're lucky enough to work with Annalee, you will be completely at ease as she is very knowledgeable about all things wedding related and she is able to walk you through every detail of the day. Thank you to the entire Ravishing Radish team for making our wedding the most amazing day of our lives! We so appreciate all the hard work you put into making our day so perfect.

e biggest expense of a wedding and we wanted to make sure we got an awesome result and they did not disappoint! We had a great tasting and Annalee was there every step of the way even when planning her own wedding which was a week before ours! We wanted a sit down plated meal and we got rave reviews of everything people ate from the appetizers to salads to dinner! The service was fantastic! The only couple of hiccups were at the bar but that was because we decided to bring our own alcohol and there was such a large assortment it was hard to keep track! We had Dick's Burgers brought in as a late night snack and their servers took them around on dance floor and lounge area on silver platters which was so cool! Because of our venue we had to do all of the rentals, tables, dishware etc and RR took care of all of it and made my vision of a long table down the center of the room really work! They were a great team to work with!

Our family and friends took full advantage of the open bar and the bartenders kept up. Hilary responded to every email and took care of all the final details. I would strongly recommend Ravishing Radish for any of your Northwest catering needs!

taurant in Seattle to sample the fare and were very impressed with the creativity and quality of the menu. We visited a second time with the grooms parents and all felt confident in our choice. We didn't see the caterers arrive nor did we see them setting up. When we walked into the reception area we were absolutely delighted with the presentation and eye appeal of the appetizers, beverage station and buffet. Each area was executed exactly as planned and the wait staff was attentive and quick to respond. There was an abundance of servings (it was huge to me that we had sufficient quantities!) and so many guests commented on how delicious the dishes were. Throughout the planning of our daughters wedding, Hillary was quick to respond to questions and concerns. We felt completely confident in her and in Ravishing Radish. The combination of flavors, quality of preparation and attention to detail in presentation could not have made the reception any finer. A memorable time was had by all!

n and it was delicious! I also enjoyed working closely with Hilary throughout the planning process - her emails were prompt and informative. The staff was also very friendly in the few moments that I interacted with them. They were very accommodating with our requests and would recommend them as caterers as well as their venue, The Yacht Club on Lake Union (Tyee Yacht Club), which overlooked Lake Union. The only snafu was that the cake baker's cake stand came up missing - oops!! But these things can happen at events.
