Sarah was amazing and I am so happy I found her to do my wedding hair! We had a large group- and some thick hair- to work with, but she was so pleasant and cheery the entire time. She kept everyone moving, but was calm and flexible. I also had to postpone a year and Sarah was incredibly patient and easygoing about moving everything. Everyone got so many compliments on their hair and I LOVED my bridal hair! Thank you Sarah!!

Sarah is not only so talented and amazing at what she does - she is also such a pleasure to work with and be around! She and her team took care of 13 of us (!!) the morning of my wedding and I was so impressed. Her patience, timeliness, and organization helped to make what could have been utter chaos feel completely seamless. Sarah was amazing for my wedding in January!! I had found her as a referral on a Facebook bride group and immediately knew I would be hiring her. From the very beginning communication was excellent. She was happy to work with my crazy schedule to book my consultation. She then gave me all the time I needed to work and rework what I wanted my wedding hair to look like. I felt like she really listened to my vision and worked to achieve it. I left the consultation feeling amazing. My wedding day was no different. I was incredibly impressed with not only how my hair came out for the wedding, but how long it lasted considering my hair is impossible to curl. I’m so happy with how it looked. If you’re looking for someone who will listen and make you look amazing, then you’re found your gal!!

Sarah is absolutely fabulous! My hair was literally the only thing I knew I didn’t have to worry about during the stressful process of a COVID wedding! She did such a beautiful job and did so much to make me feel comfortable and confident with the style I’d chosen. When my MIL decided last minute she wanted her hair done as well, she rolled with it and we couldn’t have been happier with the results! Sarah is INCREDIBLE!!!! She did my wedding day hair and it was perfection. It held all night, was literally exactly what I asked for, and photographed so beautifully. Having Sarah do my hair for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. She was the very first vendor I hired after a recommendation from a friend and I am SO happy I did. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID 19, she was so gracious and kind, pivoting the plans and helping me out every step of the way. She also helped me make a timeline. She did my hair this year for our "microwedding", with no trial and having never met me or worked with my hair - only photos. Not only is she the BEST to hang out with, but my hair came out PERFECT. My schedule was restrictive as I was living overseas before my wedding but Sarah fitted me in for a trial run during a trip home. My wedding was consequently postponed due to Covid, but Sarah did a more modest but beautiful up-do for my mini-mony this year. Sarah did my hair as well as all my bridesmaids hair for our September 2020 wedding. She was absolutely amazing. Her laid back, adaptable personality took pressure off our already stressful wedding planning during this time of Covid, canceling and replanning of a micro-wedding. She took Covid health and safety precautions seriously, wearing a mask the entire time. I knew I wanted a very simple, elegant, low bun and she absolutely nailed it. Sarah is insanely dedicated to creating the wedding look you’ve envisioned for not only yourself but for your entire bridal party (no matter how many trials or hours it takes)! Sarah is so highly skilled, knowledgable of hair products and has an amazing personality to boot. My mother and I have completely different hair types and were both interested in hair extensions for the big day- she gave us each specific brand recommendations and even spent time helping us color match at my first trial. We then saw her for an additional trial with our purchased extensions and she went above and beyond, offering to cut my mom’s extensions to a shorter length right then and there. I loved that even before meeting her, she wanted to see the look I had in mind and then throughout the process was messaging me with additional ideas of how to make my look even better! All of my girls had flawless hair that stayed intact throughout the whole wedding, and my mom’s hair had never looked SO GOOD! You will not be disappointed investing your money in Sarah. I would absolutely recommend her time and time again and would love to use her myself in the future!

I grew up with Sarah and after high school I wound up moving to New Hampshire and we just sorta lost touch. Last New Years Eve I got engaged to my long time love. He too knew Sarah throughout high school and had recently run into her in Boston. She told him of her styling business and he in turn told me. It was such a pleasant surprise to get back in touch with her and an even more pleasant surprise to see what she could do with my hair, as well as with my attendants'. Sarah did mine as well as the love of my life, Lena's hair. Lena drove up from Provincetown at my request to meet with Sarah for I knew she would soon know how very talented this young stylist is. We had our consultation with Sarah and both walked out congratulating ourselves on the great find I (humbly speaking) had made for our ceremony. Neither of us has a lot of hair but thankfully Sarah has a great deal of talent. We both looked and felt great on our day and our styles lasted for as long as we were up and standing (many hours after the ceremony took place. We both strongly and unequivocally recommend Red Carpet Ready by Sarah.

Just call me Lucky. I luckily got the best husband, I found the greatest gown (considering my budget) and Sarah was available to do my hair for my wedding. She fortunately had another wedding in Newport, RI that weekend but not on the same day as mine so as my luck would have it, she was able to do my hair. So thankful for all of the above!!

Having read the impressive reviews posted for Red Carpet Ready by Sarah I was anxious to travel to Watertown, MA from my home in Newport, RI to see what see could do for me. The trip was so worth it. We viewed a few pictures I had brought with me to give Sarah an idea of what I was looking for. She was very honest when viewing them, expressing her professional opinion on which would work for me and why some of them just weren't really going to. She then created each of the two I chose from her recommendations and the hard part at that time was which I wanted the most. It was a really had decision for I loved them both. Sarah said lets see if I can "combine" the best of each....and she did!!! I nearly cried, and my mom actually did. Thank you Sarah. You should call your business "Red Carpet Ready by the Amazing Sarah".

With Sarah's talent I would be willing to bet she could make a bald person look good. For my wedding Sarah worked on a variety of ethnic, lengths and types of requested styles. In each case she made each of us look our very best. Her talent with hair is matched by her ability to seem totally at ease while those around her are not. Sarah is the nicest, fun, and talented of all those we hired for our wedding. My fiancé( at that time) accompanied me to my consultation with Sarah. By the time it was over we wound up inviting her to our wedding. Regretfully she had another wedding party to do the same day as ours so she wasn't going to be able to make it. Myself and the others in my group had a really wide variety of hair textures as well as lengths. No problem for Sarah. Being a wedding planner as well as an exceptionally pleased client, I have seen Sarah do probably over 75+ women and younger. Her talent is obvious, seeing she has won "best of" on The Knot seemingly forever as well as on Wedding Wire. She is equally warm, friendly, and just a pleasure to do business with. She is punctual, adaptable and totally dependable. I always look forward to seeing her and watching her do her thing, make females look their very best.

I know that my sister has already written a review for Red Carpet Ready by Sara, but based upon what she was able to do with my extra thin hair, I figured she deserves another one from me. My sister told Sara at her consultation about my problem hair. Sara suggested that extensions might be an easy option. She told my sister to have me call her and set up a short consult so as to see if extensions were really an option. I did and "Ta Da", she made them work perfectly. Thank you Sara. You are the best!

Surprisingly I "stumbled" upon Sarah by meeting her at a anniversary party we had both been invited to. I was in the process of seeking a hairstylist for my wedding, saw her, and I simply had to ask who she had do her hair. Her reply, "I do my own hair". I had to ask again because it was seemingly impossible that anyone could do her own hair in such an elaborate and glamorous way. It was gorgeous. She then handed me her card for Red Carpet Ready by Sarah. Obviously I thought that if she could do that to her own hair I wanted to see what she could do with mine. I immediately booked a trail with her in her home/salon. I had no set idea of what I wanted so I told her to just do her own thing. She nailed it the very first time. She said we could look at other styles if I wished but I couldn't see how we could have done better. She repeated it perfectly on my big day, along with two junior bridesmaids and my mother-in-law to be. I highly recommend Sarah at Red Carpet Ready for any styling need. She is awesomely awesome!!!

Sarah is as warm, poised, and talented young woman. From my trail to the completion of myself and six bridesmaids, two grandmothers and two moms, she never stopped smiling, comforting a few very nervous bridesmaid (ok, me too). She arrived exactly on time and without any difficulty somehow worked her magic on myself, and all the others. From up do's, to braids, to my finicky mom, each of us were totally satisfied with are hair. Word to the wise, book her early so she is available to do for you what she did for all of us.

Sarah has once again proven to me that she is a remarkably talented stylist. Sarah is an exceptional hair stylist! She expertly executed my wedding updo as well hairstyles for 6 ladies in my bridal party on my wedding day. My wedding hair trial was so beautiful but I requested more volume for the wedding day—my hair isn’t very voluminous, but she is a pro and spent so much time crafting my updo to make it look exactly how I envisioned. Each of the women in my bridal party have different length, texture, and style hair and she transformed their hair into beautiful styles that lasted all day & evening. She is so professional, patient, and so much fun! I definitely recommend booking her for your wedding or any special event!!

Working with Sarah was fantastic! I did my research to hire someone who was really talented with hair styling specifically (vs. those who did hair and makeup), and someone who would travel to do hair for me and my bridesmaids on-site. After an intense search for a makeup/hair combo and a disappointing trial with someone else, I was ecstatic to discover and book Sarah for my wedding. She is incredibly kind, talented, and professional, and my hair was exactly as I wanted it on my wedding day. First and foremost, if I could give Sarah more stars, I would, because 5 stars DEFINITELY aren't enough. She is such a positive, professional yet super super fun and amazingly talented stylist. I'm anxious by nature and the moment I met Sarah I knew I was in great hands. She listened to every wish or concern, gave me exactly what I was hoping for at my trials and was never once intimidated by my super long hair or my sheer anxiety. The day of my wedding I watched her transform the hair of 4 of my bridesmaids with what I can only assume was pure magic, and my matron of honor even said she wished she booked Sarah for her own wedding! With my own wedding day hair, I got the dreaded humid/rainy May day, but you would have never guessed with how Sarah transformed my hair. I never ONCE checked my hair during the entire 6 hour reception and I am someone who CONSTANTLY has to check their hair (yay anxiety). Photo after photo and hour after hour, I had dream wedding hair thanks to this phenomenal stylist and I never would have imagined being that care-free on such a big day being the type of person I am. I really can't thank her enough!!!

Sarah is PHENOMENAL! On the day of my trial, I simply showed her an image of what I pictured for my hair- she looked at it and replicated the look perfectly! She has a photographic memory:) My updo lasted about 12 hours and it was comfortable (not too tight). As for my mother and bridesmaids, she was able to style thin straight hair as well as curly hair- Sarah’s talent is versatile! Her bubbly personality makes her seem like a friend you have had for years! Sarah has my highest recommendation.

Sarah took her time with each girl, but also kept things on track, ensuring al 7 girls were ready in plenty of time for the ceremony. Sara is a pleasure to have by your side as you prepare on your wedding day. I felt completely at ease that morning for I felt an immediate connection during my consult with her and was excited to see my bridesmaids faces as she work on them and how happy I knew they would be with the resultant hairstyle Sara would come up with or perform. She just kind of breezes along while turning out styles on everyone. I'm sure she was as pleased as I was that morning for she was able to book another date from one of my bridesmaids for her wedding next March. Thanks from all of us Sarah.

First of all Sarah's skill is amazing. Her experience surely shows why she has been chosen "Best of" by The Knot for so many years. (She has her awards modestly on display in the salon area in her apartment.) From my first phone conversation, to our trial/consultation, to her completing my wedding attendants and my hair, Sarah was warm, patient, and so easy to work with. Red Carpet Ready by Sarah is the best possible choice for hairstyling for any occasion. I have been friends with Sarah since I first hired her for my photo to be included in my company's "Executive Hall of Fame" gallery. Since then I have used her on several special occasions where I needed to look my very best. Each time she has always come through for me. On my wedding day she arrived exactly on the time and was not thrown off course when I asked if it would be possible for her to do three more girls than we originally had plan on. She said with the time available she would do the best she could but only if the original five planed on were completely satisfied with their styles when she finished them. All five of us were totally satisfied, to put it mildly, so she then proceeded to do the additional three I had requested. She was amazing. By the end of the day, each of us still looked as good as when she had finished us that morning. Sarah Maher is a very talented and personable young artist to say the least.

As with any purchase I make over $100 (frugal, not cheap), I spent hours researching the various “vendors” I and my fiancé would be hiring to provide the best services for our wedding.....from gowns, tuxedos, venues, caterers, florists, limos to make up and of course hairstylists. Hairstylist turned out to be the easiest. Having read all of Sara's social media reviews I contacted her and discussed the style I was seeking, number of attendants, date and location. I booked a consultation/trial with her at which time I showed her pictures of my preferred style. We started with those and as she worked on creating it, I was amazed how easily she was able to get it done. When she was completed, she said she had a few suggestions to perhaps see if I might like a slight variation of the original. The result was wonderful. Her creativity and skills are exceptional. Wish deciding on all the other vendors was as simple and enjoyable as working with Red Carpet Ready by Sara.

Prior to recently getting married I was a makeup artist for a number of professional commercial photographers and had the true pleasure of working with Sarah on a number of gigs. She is by far the most talented I have ever worked with as well as the most personable and easy going professional I know. On my wedding day I knew I, as well as my mom and maid of honor would be a bundle of nerves, and we were. When Sarah arrived (exactly on time) she brought with her, her calming and fun persona and with in minutes we where laughing and joking and although not totally stress free, we were all much better off. Her styling was right on and all 9 of us looked our best. I could not recommend anyone more highly than this talented and charming young woman!

I’m not sure where to begin this review but I will start by saying I can’t say enough positive things about Sarah. From my initial contact Sarah was responsive in a timely manner and set my mind at full ease after my trial. I had a vision for my hair and she created it for me! The day of my wedding she arrived on time and completed my entire bridal party in a timely manner. She was so relaxed which made me feel relaxed! She touched up anyone who asked and even stayed late to help ensure my veil was in the perfect position! I was able to dance the night away and my hair did not move! I could not possibly be more pleased with how well Sara did on my wedding day. She was precisely on time (truth be told she actually sat downstairs in the lobby for 20 minutes so she would not show up too early for I asked for a 6:30 AM start time). She seemingly set herself up instantly and began creating great style after great style on me and my attendants. Her warm and upbeat personality endeared her to each of us and her styling talents more than pleased us all.

Sarah is a super star!! Me, my eight bridesmaids, along with grandma and flower girl all looked and felt amazing. There was an age range from 6 to 78 and each of us looked “age appropriate” and none had the same style. So pleased!!! Thanks Sarah, you’re THE best!!

Sarah has a number of very special talents. Obviously the one that would first come to the attention of her clients is her remarkable talent for creating amazing hairstyles(as evidenced by my review, her website and all her other reviews there). The other talents soon realized are: her ability to follow the client’s wishes in creating the desired/preferred style, her relaxed approach, her warm and caring personality, and all around congeniality. She is as fun to be with as she is talented.

Sarah was so great (and fun!) to work with. I absolutely loved my hair the day of my wedding and still get compliments on the bridesmaids hair as well! Sarah arrived on time, was very responsive throughout the planning process and totally felt like one of the girls the morning we got ready. Highly recommend!!

If I could give Sarah higher than a 5 star rating I would. She was the best part of getting ready on my wedding day for sure. Sarah is an incredibly talented stylist, a professional, and an equally kind and down to earth person. She is so nice and easy and fun to hang out with! I ended up doing 2 trials with Sarah before my wedding because I was not sure what I wanted for my hair. Sarah was patient and thoughtful with me which I really appreciated. It didn't seem to stress her out at all, I think because she was confident that she would be able to do whatever I ended up wanting! I am not kidding when I say that any picture I showed her, she would make my hair look exactly like it!! I ended up doing my hair mostly down on the day of, but during my trials she had done some gorgeous up-dos as well! Sarah did a great job on all of my bridesmaids and mother in-law as well. she stayed and touched everyones hair up to make sure that everyone loved their hair. she stayed much longer than my makeup artist who jetted out the second she finished my makeup. I honestly cant say enough about Sarah. I absolutely loved working with her. Anyone would be lucky to have her if she is available on your wedding day! I hope to have the chance to have her do my hair again someday :) oh I should also add, that we started at 8 am, and the bridesmaid who went first got a really cute loose looking up do, which stayed PERFECT ALL DAY AND NIGHT! this friend had another wedding the next day, and I kid you not.. her hair was still perfect the next day so she just left it up for the next wedding too!!!!

I had a few hair trials since I was trying to work out if I wanted my hair down or in an updo. In each trial I was blown away at what Sarah can create and do with hair. I and each of my attendants all felt like such "glamor girls" in spite of the fact that we are all over 40. Sarah styled each of us exactly to our wishes and was simply "one of us" (although she is obviously no where near 40). Her talent is remarkable as is her warm caring personality.

From my first consultation and interaction with this delightful young woman, I knew i had found the perfect stylist for me as well as for my mom, granny, and the rest of my wedding party. Sarah is creative, patient, and oh soooo very talented. Truly a top notch professional.

Sara is a total gem. She knows her stuff and is about the easiest going young woman I have ever met. She brought her talents in styling as well as her warmth and charm to a very hectic pre-ceremony situation. All went smoothly in spite of a few emotional bridesmaids who acted as though it was their wedding, not mine. Sara remained calm and in control through it all and we all looked very sophisticated and stylish even though some in the wedding party were less than that. Thank you Sara for staying on task as confusion and emotions seem to be the rule of the day. In the end we all looked great and our styles stayed in throughout the contentious pre and post ceremony goings-ons.

The first time I needed a professional stylist was when i had to create a portfolio for a modeling agency. I searched through "awarded" stylists on various professional sites as well as bridal sites and I found Sarah. We worked together and came up with six different styles for my portfolio and we nailed it (no brag, just truth). Since helping get me started in modeling Sarah and I have worked on numerous assignments and I am always so pleased both professionally as well as socially to see that she is doing the hair for the shoot. I know she'll do a great job and that we will have fun doing it. When I got engaged she did my hair for the announcement photo for the newspaper, my bridal shower and of course my and my attendants for the ceremony. Each time seemed better than the previous time. I can not possibly recommend Sarah enough. She is a master at her trade, as well as a total sweetheart.

Rather than have me rattle on about how incredible Sarah is, do what I did, read all her already posted reviews. Each one stresses her talent, charm, creativity, passion for perfection and total concern for every person she styles. They all speak the truth. She is all of the and more!!!

Such a wonderful experience from consultation to wedding day. Sarah listened to my wishes and then created the exact style I was seeking. Did a great job on all of us including my grandmother, mom, mom-in-law, six attendants and flower girl. Could not have been more pleased!

Sarah is AMAZING! I have a ton of hair, which makes it challenging, and I was thrilled when I went to my trial with Sarah. She listened to what I wanted and created beautiful curls with a few pieces pulled back. Sarah is professional, fun, and so TALENTED. My wedding hair turned out even better than I envisioned. My mom who has a short hairstyle is still talking about her do – it looked fantastic. I opted for my hair mostly down but several members of my wedding party did updos, which looked amazing. Of course I was looking for a great stylist for myself and wedding attendants. What I found was a. really great stylist as well as a warm, considerate and happy young woman. As professional and as talented as they come. She made me, my bridesmaids, and mom look wonderful. She's warm and fun and added a nice sense of calm to the craziness while preparing for the day. We all enjoyed her work and her company.

So nice to have had the experience of working with Sarah again. What was extra nice was that this time it was me that she was doing the styling on. I am a makeup artist who has had the pleasure of doing a number of photo shoots with Sarah and also we have worked together at 4 weddings. Sarah is an exceptionally talented, sweet and patient young woman. It took me 3 consultations with her before deciding upon which of the many styles she had created was the one for me. She worked seemingly so easily each time I asked for something different. She did up-dos, down, partial up-dos, and everything in between. My problem was that each time she completed the styling, I thought that's the one. Then my mom (who accompanied me each time) would say "How bout if you tried this one" (holding up a picture). Sarah would set to work again and again I would say that's the one! Finally I was able to pic which one I liked best (mom's 2nd choice). On the day of the wedding Sarah arrived exactly on time and recreated the one I liked best perfectly. It looked just as good at the end of the reception as it did prior to the ceremony. Hire this exceptionally talented and creative professional stylist with complete confidence. Sarah and I have worked on a number of photo shoots together (me the model, she the incredible stylist). From my professional point of view, Sarah is the smartest choice for any occasion. She has constantly amazed me every time she touches my hair, not mention a sweetheart to work with.

I knew from the previous two occasions that you worked your magic on me that you would be there for me on the day.. Hard to believe you just keep getting better, but this time was even better than the 2nd time, which was better than the 1st time (which was totally awesome). Wish I was a more creative writer that could really capture the essence of Red Carpet Ready by Sarah. Regretfully I am not, but Sarah is an amazing, talented and fun hairstylist who couldn't have been more on point when she created my "dream do" at the consultation and then duplicated it perfectly on my wedding day. Both of my parents cried when they saw how beautiful she made me look, and my husband even commented on it while at the altar. She made me feel wonderful as well as look wonderful.

Only gave her five stars, but she deserves many more. The day of my wedding was sooo stressful that I needed to take an anti-anxiety pill. Problem was I had not thought to bring any to the hotel. Sarah arrived exactly on time and after that she had such a calming effect on the entire wedding party that I soon forgot I was anxiety-ridden, for I no longer was. Her experience and warm, fun personality seemed to lighten the entire atmosphere and when she started to make each one of us look the best we ever had it just kept getting better. Everyone of her reviews mention how special her hairstyling talents are, and they truly are special. Talk about a guilt trip. I am awful. Twice Sarah has called to inquire about the condition of my grandmother who fell and broke her hip while at the hotel while Sarah was doing all of our hair. I on the other hand never even took the time to write a review to state how amazingly talented (and kind) Sarah is. She did a wonderful job on all 8 of us and our styles stayed perfect all day and night long. She was a welcome calming influence during an already stressful time prior to the ceremony. Truly a ultra talented, professional young woman.

On time, really kind, perfect frame of mind, and can she style hair!!! After my first consult with Sarah I immediately called my six bridesmaids and told them"We are going to all look great!!" I showed Sarah a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like. Bang, she did it and I loved it. Then she said let me "tweak" it a bit. Her "tweaking" it made it look totally better. Her experience shows and her creativity flows!!

What a talented and charming young lady. Professional, dependable, and creative. She listened to my desires and hopes, then made them reality. So impressed by and thankful for the fact she was available on my big day.

The smartest choice as far as finding best vendors to service our wedding. My sister, and my now sister-in-law consulted social media to find their individual hairstylists, without consulting each other on subject. Each knew what they wanted and needed for the occasion and went searching. Both found Sara individually and hired her at their consultation. She had done my hair for both of those wedding and I told her I wanted her "on standby" for when I wed. She really does amazing work and like she said on each occasion, "If I do it, it stays in." It does!! Wonderfully talented person to work with.

What a gem!!! Constantly smiling and ultra patient , she worked wonders with me and each of my 4 bridesmaids in addition to my granny and mom. She is a true professional and we all just felt like she was one of the bridal party. I highly recommend Sarah for any occasion where you want your hair to be perfect.

Sarah is quite honestly the most talented hair stylist I have ever met or seen work. She like a genie with her curling irons and bobby pins. I had all sorts of questions of Sarah and she was always quick to respond and honest in her opinions! During my hair trial, she was totally open to my asking for changes and adjustments – in fact, she encouraged them! I could tell immediately that she was capable of doing anything with hair. Having a picture to show her exactly what I wanted definitely helped though! She was able to know exactly what I was thinking and ask clarifying details. She gave her own suggestions but by no means was pushy that I should do what she wanted. I didn’t think it was possible, but I actually loved my wedding day hair even MORE than my trial. It was actually PERFECT! Sarah is so friendly and fun – all my bridesmaids loved having her. People were literally oohing and awing as she was completing my hair. She would continue to work on someone’s head until they were fully satisfied with how it looked. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone who needs a hair stylists for absolutely anything! I will absolutely use her again if I ever need another hair stylist – no question. LOVE HER!

I'm sure she does awesome work, I wouldn't know because we never got that far. My advice with this vendor is to clearly and quickly ASK how to send the $155 deposit to secure her services (she won't ask you for the money, you have to ask her how to pay), otherwise you may be 15+ emails into exploring styles and setting up a trial and be hit with an email informing you that your date has been booked by another bride. Sarah is one of a kind; you meet her and feel like you guys have been friends forever. She is so easy going and a pleasure to work with She is incredible at what she does. I am so glad I booked her early! Our trial went great, we did two styles of what I was thinking I liked off pinterest, and we both agreed on which one was better on me. We trialed my veil and on the day of it was perfect. She and her assistant came to my hotel room and did all of my bridal party’s hair and they looked amazing. They were all so happy too!
