She was honest and transparent with us throughout the entire planning and wedding process. Second, she is a fantastic listener. We really felt like Candace took the time to “get” us and our vision for the day and to come up with thoughtful ideas and recommendations based on our personalities and wishes. We never felt like we were repeating ourselves or like Candace didn’t understand us. Third, Candace has impeccable taste and an enviable eye for design and aesthetics; you can trust your wedding will look stunning with Candace leading the way. Finally and maybe most importantly, Candace is really just a gem of a person—she’s kind, enthusiastic, funny, and patient. We were so happy to have her at our wedding not just as our planner, but as someone who had become our friend. All of those qualities culminated in our actual wedding being above and beyond what we even thought it could be, and it’s all thanks to Candace. We were not the type of bride and groom who knew exactly what we wanted or who had a precise vision for our wedding, so we really relied on Candace to help us figure out our likes/dislikes and what was most important to us (and then how to make it all happen!). In the end, our wedding day was absolutely perfect for me and my husband, so much so that we cannot think of one thing we would have done differently. Having interviewed many other planners before finding Candace, I genuinely think that would not be the case with anyone else. To top it all off, we not only had rave reviews from all of our friends and family who interacted with Candace, but we also had rave reviews from guests about our wedding as a whole. In short, I’d hire Candace all over again in a heartbeat and think you should too if you’re in the market for a truly amazing wedding planner. truly was the best day. In terms of the planning process, she really listened to us discuss our vision, and offered ideas and solutions to our concerns. She was super communicative, and kept us on track throughout the process. We often felt overwhelmed by all the planning, but literally every time we talked with Candace we felt focused and capable! She asked all the right questions--things we would never have thought to ask-- to us, and to our vendors, to ensure we would have the day we wanted. Vendors very clearly like working with her, and seemingly appreciate her knowledge, experience, and professionalism. She delegates wisely, and her staff (esp. Zoe!), are all so capable and they hit the ground running as the wedding got closer. Our actual wedding day was a seamless dream come true. We did not have to worry about a thing, and really got to enjoy every single minute with our family and friends. That honestly feels like a gift no review could capture. In addition to all this, Candance is just a a wonderful person. She is very smart, and incredibly kind. She is also very thoughtful, and remembers small details in ways that make it evident she really cares about you and wants your wedding to be amazing. r. She literally went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and felt confident about our wedding. Believe me when I tell you that the most important part about planning a wedding is knowing that you’re in good hands. Candace was in OUR corner and really made sure that we always felt seen and heard. She kept all of my vendors on track (sticking to a schedule is HARD work) and kept everyone honest. She was my eyes and ears throughout the whole day so that I wasn’t stressed about anything; literally nothing got past her. From transforming our blank venue into a fairytale DREAM, being our DJ when the tunes got a little too sappy, all the way to last minute stepping in to conduct our ceremony flawlessly (literally, five minutes before the ceremony we needed a new officiant and Candace stepped in without hesitation)…..She was ON TOP of it. Candace also really makes it her mission to hear you out which I really, really appreciated. I can’t tell you how many times she checked in on me to make sure I was happy with the way everything looked and that I felt good! Candace’s assistant, Zoe, was such a beautiful extension of Candace. She was RIGHT next to me from the minute I stepped into my dress to the end of the night while they packed everything up so delicately and brought it back for us. From the bottom of my heart, I am SO incredibly thankful to have had the pleasure to work with them. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!!
