We hired Featherstone for our wedding videography and we are so happy we did! The wedding planning process can be stressful, and from our first conversation Colin put our minds at ease when it came to videography and discussing the day-of details and timelines. Colin and his team were so great to work with and captured all of the special moments from our big day so perfectly. We were blown away at our wedding video and we will cherish that along with all of the raw footage forever. One of the most important things for my husband and I was to have a videographer capture all of the special moments from our wedding day and they did just that. 10/10 recommend!

Featherstone was amazing! Everyone told me when I got engaged that the photos are one of the most important things. The day will pass, the food will be eaten, the flowers will die, and you'll probably never wear the dress again. The photos and video on the other hand live on for you to cherish time and time again. So when I ventured out in my search for the right photographer and videographer. I was nervous and I had never hired a professionals like this before. I had a few phone appointments with many other companies and though their work was beautiful, something didn't feel right. They all talked to me like I was just a customer. Prices this and prices that. This package and that package. I first came across Colin on the knot and on our first call I immediately loved him. He startrd off by first getting to know me and what things were important to me. Then he took the time to explain the process of hiring a professional photographer/videographer and let me ask all my questions. I never felt rushed and he made us feel important. Not just another customer. He was easily available through text, call, email throughout the entire process and responded so fast. The day of the wedding was perfect. They walked us through everything! We didn't have to stress about one thing. They took care of everything. Setting up the photo booth l, taking it down, and finding the best spots to capture our photos and video. They were very reliable! Last but not least. Their work was beautiful!! I trusted them completely from the start and they didn't disappoint us! YES!!! HIRE COLIN!!! One of my wedding vendor goals was to hire small, local business, and that's exactly what Featherstone is. My husband was set on having videography services, and I was on the fence. Colin and I had a lengthy phone call, plus email back and forth, in which he helped answer so many of my wedding planning questions, and guided our decisions without pushing one way or another. I am forever grateful for Colin and his honesty, as well as his wedding day expertise. He also helped us find our photographer, and our wedding day just wouldn't have been the same without them. We worked with Colin to create a more customized package than one of his traditional available, and when he sent us footage there were certain video shots that my husband and I were amazed by as we didn't even notice there was a camera nearby for that. I felt so supported by Colin throughout both the wedding planning process and my wedding day itself, and honestly even after the fact I know I could turn to him still. One of the last calls I had with Colin prior to the wedding day was about establishing timeline for everything. We didn't hire a wedding planner, and most of the planning was on my to-do list, and Colin provided me with recommendations for wedding flow. I felt such relief working with him too, and knew I could trust in him wholeheartedly. My husband and I are very pleased with Featherstone all around.

Collin did a great job on our wedding day. They were there throughout the entirety of the wedding, capturing everything while not being intrusive. Having them with us really gave us the peace of mind that our special day would be memorialized such that we could go back to it and relive those wonderful memories once again. We recently received a preview of our wedding film and it looks gorgeous!

Colin recorded our wedding and our engagement shoot, and both times was an absolute joy to work with. He is easygoing, has a fantastic eye for his shots, and manages to capture all the important moments without ever seeming to be in the way. Colin worked seamlessly with our photographer on both events, which gave us more time to enjoy the special moments of our wedding. (At the engagement shoot, he also worked well with our rowdy adolescent dog.) Colin provided prompt teaser videos and a gorgeous engagement compilation, as well as spectacular drone footage. He has been responsive to our desires and requests as he has been putting together the wedding video, and we can’t wait to see it! Additionally, Colin provided the photo booth at our wedding reception, which was a huge hit! He provided fun props, and made it easy for people to get prints for themselves and duplicates for our guest book, or receive them digitally. Afterwards, we also received a link to the full album to enjoy them later. We were thrilled with Colin's work, and would happily recommend him to anyone!

Colin was amazing ! We had scheduled our wedding for Dec 2020. And were doing all the planning and well guess what, Covid happened. We had to postpone the big wedding for 6 months (June 2021). Colin was gracious enough put us on the calendar for the new date and when June of 2021 came along Colin was there ready to go and did an absolute professional job at the wedding only intervening when he wanted certain video or to make sure we got something filmed that we wanted. Colin and his assistant were just amazing with their coverage of our wedding. I still can't believe he was able to capture in just a few short minutes the many hours of filming to exactly what we had thought up in our mind. Colin's pricing is affordable and reasonable, as well as his personal touch of getting to know the couple he is filming beforehand. Very much appreciated. Thanks Again Colin! Colin was spectacular to work with. He was always responsive and quick to get back to any questions we had before our wedding. The day of our wedding was stressful, Colin was so calm and helpful that day. My mom had a hard time buttoning the back of my dress, and Colin stepped in and helped her. He and his assistant were extremely professional and captured all the moments I was hoping would be caught. My husband and I can now look back at our wedding thanks to Colin and all of his hard work to make our wedding video perfect. Another example of how accommodating he is: the dj we had played a bunch songs that were not on our play list. The last song while we were dancing I truly do not like but it was in the video. I asked Colin is there anyway to play over that song at the end of our wedding. He worked his magic and played a song that I originally wanted the dj to play. Aaaaamazing! I mean if you want a videographer that has a great personality, hard worker, talented and just kind, look no further, Colin is your man!

Colin was a joy to work with! He captured our wedding day in the most perfect way possible. He was one vendor that I never had to worry about. Super responsive, professional, organized, and was great to work with on the actual wedding day. He accomplished the difficult task of capturing every moment, without us even knowing he was there (in a good way)! Would definitely recommend!

Colin is first rate! He did both my daughters' weddings 4 months apart. He was extremely professional and easy to deal with and very flexible throughout the whole covid period when we had to postpone etc. I can honestly say that we forgot he was there which is the mark of a good videographer. He captured all the important moments, but was completely unobtrusive about it. Can't say enough good things!

Colin and his team were AMAZING! They were so accommodating especially in light of covid and changing restrictions. I also went back and forth with how long we wanted to have the photographer for and he was so kind and willing to do whatever was in our best interest. Maria, the photographer was WONDERFUL! She created a timeline and worked with our vendor to be able to get all the shots we wanted. She also helped keep my big family on tract with taking pictures and gave all of us clear instructions on what to do to make it go smoothly. Our wedding pictures and video are so beautiful, I wouldn’t recommend anyone but them!

We have booked Colin with Featherstone Films for our May 2022 wedding, but could not wait that long to sing his praises! We did an engagement shoot with him about a month ago, and the results were incredible. We showed his 90-second video to family friends, and got both laughter and tears! Colin was awesome! He did an amazing job with our insta edit and wedding videos. Colin was an excellent videographer who was both personable and professional throughout the entire day. He captured excellent, high quality footage that will allow us to rewatch our special day for years to come. Your special day really does go by in a flash and he was able to capture all the best moments of it, not only of us but our guests enjoying themselves as well. His compilation video was excellent and well edited. His professionalism and ability to capture various moments throughout the day without being overbearing and feeling as if we were just being dragged around was perfect. He also provides a photo booth and we were provided all the digital prints to see how much our guests enjoyed the occasion. We had a very unique situation. We booked a videographer 8 months out, only to find him missing in action as the wedding date got close. My daughter reached out through "the Knot" and Colin of Featherstone Wedding Films worked with her to develop a special wedding package on short notice! He really saved the day as the video was a gift from her sister. He was responsive and helpful, even adding some special request touches. The video is beautiful, the sound is excellent and we are so thankful to him for stepping in and doing such a great job.
