I'm Jalena Rowan, co-owner of Rock'n Rowan's BBQ. I have been doing caterings for several years, and love working with couples on their special day. Outside of caterings, I spend time with my dogs. We have two corgis and a black lab. They are our world. I am also a huge football fan, go VIKINGS!

Had Rock'n Rowan's BBQ for my in-law's 60th wedding anniversary party. Perfection. Not only were they friendly and efficient, the food was delicious! And tasty leftovers too! Highly recommend!!

We used Rock’n Rowan’s to cater our wedding and they were amazing! Not only is the food a selling point it was fairly priced and the owners are the sweetest people. So many of our guests commented on how this was the best BBQ they have ever had! Good luck though on narrowing down your menu, we wanted almost everything they offered!

Rock'n Rowan's was the absolute best thing about our wedding! Our menu included the chicken, tri-tip, asparagus and Mac n cheese. All the food was so delicious and the servings were great sizes. I could not recommend this vendor enough! They also provide tastings prior to events that can help you narrow down your menu. (except your going to want all of it at your wedding!) The price point is a complete bargain. You won't find anything better than this!

This review is long overdue, we had our wedding back in November of 2022. the Price was so reasonable, the food was to die for, and the service was on point. It was a very small wedding of about 60 people and no planner, so the professionalism and organization was much appreciated. The set up they brought was so cute too, it really worked well with the country theme.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with 75 guests who all raved about how good the food was. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and plenty of it. The tri-tip was medium to rare perfectly cooked. All of the side dishes were delicious and plentyful. I am not a big pork and beans person, however I had tasted them at the food tasting and became a believer.
I cannot tell you how much we appreciated the service, the smiles on there faces and generous portions they gave. There professionalism is beyond reproach. We would give them six stars if we could. We would recommend Rock'n Rowans's BBQ to anyone who enjoys good delicious food, great service and left overs.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful these caterers are. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I am so happy I chose them for my wedding. They are not only affordable but their food is absolutely incredible!! I have been to many weddings where the food is not good but we got so many compliments from our guests. Jalena and Anthony are so professional and attentive. Everything was flawless for the wedding. If you are looking for a great caterer at a great price look no further! I would recommend them to anyone!

We were so glad to have Rock'n Rowan's BBQ cater our wedding! Firstly, the food was SO GOOD. We heard a lot of compliments among guests; the salmon and potatoes were personally my fave. They even were able to accommodate a handful of vegan and vegetarian guests. They sent us home with plenty of leftovers, and it was so nice to have many delicious meals in the days following as we got back to our routine post-wedding.
Besides the food, Rock'n Rowan's provided a fantastic bartender throughout the reception, and it was nice having them handle plates and napkins. They were so easy to work with throughout the planning process and on the day-of, and the price point is unbeatable (we were about ready to elope after trying to fit other caterers into our budget). Thanks Anthony and Jalena for making the meal such a memorable part of our day!!

From the very beginning Jalena and Anthony were very helpful and always were prompt to answer any questions that I had. We do not live in CA and had our friends go to the tasting. They were highly impressed and so I knew I wanted Rock n Rowan was the company I wanted to go with. Few months later my venue canceled on us 2 months before the big day. We were super stressed since we had to find a new venue. The venue we found that fit our budget was not able to accommodate the food being cooked on premises and we had to go about having a precooked options. Anthony and Jalena understood how upset we were but assured the food would still be good. They were absolutely right! All of our guests commented on how good everything tasted. I am amazed how well everything g turned out even with the all the hiccups we had they made sure our day would still be amazing!

Rock'n Rowan's was absolutely the best! The food is INCREDIBLE and the service was amazing, they make sure that the bride and groom get their food first by bringing right to your table and then serve everyone else in a buffet style. We still have people telling us it was the best food they've ever had a wedding. Definitely recommend!!!

We used Rock'n Rowan's for food and bartending services for our wedding. From the beginning, Jalena was super responsive to all of my questions. They had us out for a tasting and their food sold us right away!! Once at the wedding, they were ready on time, had a great set up, and the food was incredible!! It was even better than I remembered at the tasting. Everyone at our wedding raves about the food and how delicious everything was. Even our pickiest guests went back for seconds! Their bartending services were top notch as well. They were friendly to all our guests and their drinks were mixed well! I was so happy with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Rock'n Rowan's for your next event!

If we could give more stars for Rock'n Rowan's BBQ, We would defiantly do so! From the beginning of contacting, they were so attentive. We wanted excellent food for our wedding and we were given above and beyond service and food. From the moment guests were eating dinner, we heard from everyone just how amazing the food was from the Tri Tip, Chicken, Veggies, and Scalloped Potatoes and to the Salad, we were even told days after the wedding how great the food was. The Rowan's and their team were amazing throughout the entire process. Even from the tasting, the food was great and they were just so great to work with. Clear and speedy communication in the months and weeks leading to the wedding. They were so flexible in the closing weeks to accommodate some last minute requests from us.
They are experienced professionals and just handled it on the day of the wedding, making it so stress-free for my wife and I, and even fixed us our own plates for both cocktail hour appetizers and the main course so we could have time to eat and enjoy our food.
What I loved most about Rock'n Rowan's BBQ was how fresh and delicious their food was. You can smell the BBQ being made as they cook on site. We could've paid much more for food made off site and reheated at the venue with another vendor, so I'm glad we went with the Rowan's instead.

I just had a 100+ person wedding this past weekend and we have not stopped hearing such positive feedback as to how DELICIOUS the food was for the event! Literally everyone loved the food. Not only did Anthony & Jalena make sure each and every single person was served and fed but handled everything so smoothly. On top of that, they certainly made the entire experience so seemless and easy for such an important aspect to the celebration. Our daughters wedding last month was catered by RockNRowans BBQ. They were sooo great! The tri-tip and Mac & Cheese were my favorite, but I keep getting family and friends calling me and raving about how awesome all the food was, and the service was so personable and attentive. We hired Rock'n Rowan's BBQ for our son's engagement party and they exceeded our expectations. They answered all my emails very quickly and came over to the site to go over where everything would be laid out and answered all our questions. Their service was exceptional and the food was amazing. All our guests were complimenting the food. Anthony & Jalena were very professional and punctional. So glad we picked Rock n Rowan’s to cater our wedding. First off the food is fantastic! We loved the red oak tri tip with all the fixings. Jalena n Anthony were very responsive to all our questions and special requests. During the event our food got cold because we were eager to chat to all our guest they quickly came over to offer us hot plates. They even packed up the left overs which was literally a weeks worth of food. We can’t wait to use Rock n Rowan’s for our next event and highly recommend them if your looking for quality bbq at a fraction of the cost of other caters!

Very professional from start to finish, a delicious menu to choose from. The samples prior were great as the day they catered. Very fresh ingredients used. The Rowan’s understood my budget and guests needs. When it was time to serve the food they helped with an easy display and line, to get what you wanted. I loved they cook the food right there. I know we will be using them again for more events.

Rock'n Rowan's BBQ showed up early with smiles on their faces and made us feel at ease that they had everything under control. We did have to worry about anything from start to finish, setup to cleanup. The food was home-style bbq, and the Santa Maria chicken fell off the bone. We just had our postponed wedding (thanks COVID) at the end of August. This family owned and operated venue and caterer were absolutely AMAZING! They really truly cared about the day and how everything’s went, and it was so easy to see how much love and effort they put into making everything perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! A lot of our guests have told me that. Overall it was a magical day and the catering and venue crew made it go so smoothly and beautifully. They are amazing!
