If I could give her zero stars I would. She COMPLETELY ruined my entire wedding. I hired her to decorate months before the event, she came out, measured, surveyed, took notes, etc. I paid her IN FULL well before the wedding date. On the MORNING of my wedding, she had the NERVE to call me and tell me that pretty much EVERYTHING I hired to do (which she was CONTRACTED to do and promised she could deliver) was not "doable". My bridesmaids literally spent HOURS on the phone with her that day when we should have been having a relaxing morning getting ready. At some point during the day, she just decided to turn off her cell phone and stop answering calls. That's right. She just decided she didn't feel like doing her JOB anymore. My venue was a MESS thanks to her. She never apologized, admitted fault for her actions and it took SEVERAL heated emails which I sent ON MY HONEYMOON to get her to agree to refund our money (did she really think that she could get away with keeping ANYTHING after the stunt she pulled?) Despite the entire ordeal my family, wedding party, and I went through, she has still yet to refund a dime. We're waiting on one of our credit card companies finish their claim but we will most likely be seeing her in court. Additionally, I did some checking and I have concerns that "Creative Elegance" is not a legitimate business. I notified the Florida State Attorney General, the IRS and the Department of Revenue, and they're all looking into her as well. Stay away from this unprofessional, rude and horrible person- she ruined my wedding and I would hate for her to ruin yours. You only get one big wedding day- you can never redo it. Believe me, I wish I could.

I met Nikki after my sister hired her for a Luau engagement party and for designing/decorating her wedding. Those were awesome events that were so tasteful and elegant. So I hired Nikki for my Bon Voyage Cocktail Party (to my destination wedding in St. Lucia). I had an elegant beach theme but with some unique elements and details to make the party entertaining (not your standard buffet & DJ to say the least). The event space was an empty, white art gallery with no furnishings. Nikki was able to transform the space with my vision and with ease. During the planning stage, Nikki intently listened to all my ideas, made great suggestions without being pushy, and really paid attention to the budget. For the day of the event, she and her staff were able to set up and take down timely. Her furnishings and decor were set up with excellent attention to detail. She worked and coordinated well with my other vendors too. All the details were wonderfully executed, fit the theme and worked well with the unique party elements. There was little to no oversight from me, which made the process as stress-less as possible. She needs absolutely no micromanaging because she knows what she's doing for sure! (It helped that my sister had prior dealings with her and assured me Nikki needed no hand-holding). She is truly a professional. The event theme was simple with very unique elements. With Nikki's designs and execution of my theme and ideas, it turned out to be a wonderful event. The only issue I had was that she was late to one planning meeting and we had some issues with email not going through. This was nothing major because Nikki always returns calls and is accessible for questions. Also, her production and professionalism speaks for itself. You'll be in good hands.
