She took the time to get to know us as a couple and even prayed for our family & checked in when the groom's mom was in the hospital, not sure if she was going to make it to our wedding. Jess goes above and beyond for people and we are so grateful to have found her. Aside from our absolute perfect photos, she really did bring the most amazing energy to our wedding day; our guests are still telling me how much they loved her! She prayed for us and then made some difficult calls to shift her schedule around. It truly was a blessing that she was able to make it work . She was able to get us organized in 2 days and make everything that felt chaotic a week before fall into place (as if she was with us all along!). She helped make our now micro wedding feel so full. Her second photographer, Mandi, was also incredible and both worked so well together as a team. That's exactly what Five Fourteen did for my Husband and I. Jessica has a God given talent to not only take pictures but provide an unbelievably relaxed and fun environment. My Husband and I decided to do a first look for our wedding, and it was probably the best decision we could have made. I don't know how Jessica did it, but the photoshoot felt like a date. I like to say that I went on a date with my Husband two hours before our wedding. It was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves. Sometimes pictures can feel posed or you just don't even know what to do in them. Jessica gives clear directions and has SO many tips and tricks to create those picture-perfect moments. Her faith and love for the Lord is also something that makes her abilities so spectacular. She prayed for us on the days leading up to the Wedding and she prayed over me with my bridesmaids before I went down the aisle. It is hard for me to describe how thankful I am for that. did an engagement photo session with her to get comfortable with her (which was SO easy to do) before the wedding. She made us feel so good about ourselves, we had a WONDERFUL time taking pictures with her. My husband really dislikes getting pictures taken, but after our engagement session, he told me he wished we didn't have to wait an entire year to get our pictures taken with her again. I knew then and there, Jess was a gem! She really helps you focus on each other and your marriage, not so much the fluff (wedding, and material things). It was really refreshing, as most wedding vendors are all about the details and the wow factors, Jess wasn't, she was all about the people, and capturing the love and joy that everyone had on our day. We got around 1700 shots when it was all said and done, it was truly more than we could ever ask for in a photographer. Stop looking, and book Jess you wont regret it!!!
