Island Sound, reconnecting with classmates for a milestone event. Guy and Anthony were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their experience in dealing with high school reunions was extremely helpful and they were so patient and understanding . As an event planner, I am no stranger to a certain amount of stress one encounters when organizing an event and I was able to relax and enjoy the evening with my classmates. I owe it all to Guy, Anthony and their entire staff who made sure our 50th reunion was successful. It's a wonderful venue with wonderful people and I WILL NOT hesitate to use Davenport Mansion for any future events. Thank you for a memory I will always treasure.

the day of the wedding I did not need to worry about anything. He handled it all. He had said to me “ you hired professionals to do what they need to do. Now let them do their job”. Because of the great people who we hired it all ran smoothly. I was so lucky that I was able to visit with my guests, dance and enjoy the wedding! Anna, the bridal attendant, gets high praise from the bride and groom. She was attentive to them all night. Whatever they needed all they had to do was turn and there was Anna ready to get them whatever they wanted. She was so sweetheart 💗. The bartenders and staff gave us excellent service. They were pleasant and attentive to all my guests. The food was delicious. My family and friends are still calling me to say it truly was one of the best weddings they ever attended. We had an omelette station that ALL the guests raved about! The day of the event, the entire staff was very helpful and it was certainly the most epic and memorable occasion of my life! I will definitely consider using Davenport Mansion again if we have another grand occasion to celebrate and would definitely recommend to anyone!!

His professionalism and execution of every last detail compares to none. The wedding itself was beautiful and could not have ran any smoother than it did. From the first bite of cocktail hour to the last bit of dessert and everythingin between, our guests could not stop raving about the food and incredibly attentive service. We cannot recommend working with Guy and The Davenport any more highly. He created the most perfect day and memory for us.

The mansion only hosts one wedding at a time, so you feel like you have all the attention and support that you need. Guy and team are professionals that really know what they are doing. Guy is super welcoming and put us at ease from day one. He is very knowledgeable in his field and gave us lots of great advice when we were making decisions during our planning process. The rest of the team was also great, helping us with set up and breakdown on the day of the event and making sure everything ran according to timeline so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing! The cocktail hour was fantastic- lots of great food options, and the team helped us develop fun and delicious signature drinks that were a huge hit. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor space for guests to mill around. We still get compliments from our guests about how unique the space was and how good the food was! Would highly recommend the Davenport Mansion for your wedding.

It was convenient that the bride, groom, and bridal party were able to get dressed at the venue. Guy and his staff took great care of us. To add, the staff as a whole were very nice and respectful, plus the food was great too. We used multiple vendors they had suggested when comparing to others we found, the others did not compete. ds down. The Venue - It's unique and unheard of to have an entire space just for you and your guests on your wedding day. The mansion was decorated for the holidays and it was like a dream. There were wreaths, garlands, and florals everywhere. There are real fire places too! It's so charming and cozy, but also spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The library room is enchanting. The views from the bar and ballroom are incredible. The ballroom is breathtaking. When we first saw the ballroom we were in love with the floors. So beautiful! We had 12 tables and 125 guests and the layout was well done. There were no bad seats in the house. We could see everyone and easily move around to say hi. The bridal suite is the perfect place to get ready. The lighting is perfect for getting ready photos. And of course the staircase from the second floor to the first is also a great place for photos. The beach view is gorgeous and even for a December wedding it was a lovely addition for photos. Atmosphere 11/10 Food - Our cocktail hour was sick! We had multiple tasty cultural stations, including Asian and Italian, a craft beer pairing station, fresh mozzarella making station, and seafood. The entrees were delicious. There was something for everyone. Everyone could not stop raving about the food. Even as the bride and groom we made sure to try it all. Food was important to us and we were over the moon with everything. Super impressed and happy (and full). Food- Again 11/10 Staff and Service - Our day would not have been as wonderful if not for the staff. Special thanks to Guy and Carmine for keeping us and our families at ease. We had nothing to worry about. Guy is a pro and was always 5 steps ahead. Nobody had to wait for a drink at the bar and nobody was hungry. 11/10. We knew early on we made the right choice for our special day. It was a no-brainer to have our wedding here at the Davenport Mansion. This venue checks off all the boxes. We had a beautiful, fun, and delicious wedding. Mike and I will always remember this day so fondly. Thank you so much!

The mansion is on the water which made our vision of beach theme come true and they let us do just about what ever we wanted to decorate. We had more then enough time to prepare, both leading up to it and on the big day. They ensured everything ran smooth the entire time from beginning to end, and if anything did go wrong neither the bride nor groom knew about it (exactly how it should be). The food was delicious and they let us substitute and add food, as well as being very considerate for those with food allergies. The day of staff was phenomenal - both professional and attentive. I cannot speak enough to the overall satisfaction!

The Davenport are pure professionals, from the bridal attendant (Anna), Carmine the go to man, Guy the owner, Jason hospitality each and every person on staff were exceptional. Me and my husband wanted to plan another event the next day because we had so much fun. Planning weddings are stressful to make all those details come to fruition but the Davenport made ours a piece of cake. Did I say cake? Yum yum and yum it was good and included in our package. Hands down this is the best place to make your event special. It’s only for you and no one else. The focus is all on you and they make sure you know it. October day and the process/planning was seamless. The mansion is quaint, well decorated (love the fireplaces), has best views of sound, and grounds are beautiful. So many places to take pictures. Guy was amazing from start. He is professional, responsive and really cared about us having a memorable wedding. He always returned phone calls and emails and was a pleasure to deal with. The food was absolutely amazing!! So many apps and stations to choose from for the cocktail hour (but you can’t go wrong!) our guests raved about the food. The main meal was great as well! On the day of the wedding, we were able to get ready at the davenport and they provided a bridal brunch. We were lucky and it was beautiful weather, so ceremony was outside and was beautiful. The staff did an awesome job guiding people into the cocktail hour then reception. Jason, Carmine, and bridal attendant Gianna were there on our wedding day and they were absolutely amazing. They catered to me and my husband as well as our bridal party and parents. You do not need a wedding planner or day of coordinator at the davenport because they really do it all!! We loved everything about our wedding and so happy we had it there.

My only critique is the staff could have been a bit more careful handling our crystal decorations, since there was a champagne flute that got chipped in the “packing-up” process, but everything else was fantastic!

We loved that we were the only wedding happening that day - a lot of other venues have more than one wedding going on at once. Being the only wedding meant that the day was fully dedicated to us. The Davenport has a groomsmen suite and a bridal suite so the guys were able to get ready at the venue as well. The bridal party spent the morning getting ready and we were served with a wonderful brunch. Guy was really great to work with. He went above and beyond and really made sure the day was perfect for us. Additionally, the food was amazing - all of our guests raved about it.
