I used Lockstar Beauty for hair and make-up services before my Bridal Shower. I was so impressed with their services and facilities. Will be going back again for my welcome events

Cassie and Diana were absolutely amazing. They were both so sweet and friendly. They both had this calming presence about them that made the experience so relaxing and comfortable. Cassie did amazing on my hair and all my bridal parties hair. I have very thin hair and Cassie was able to make my hair look full and beautiful. Not to mention the waves she put in my hair were perfect and stayed all night! Same with all of the other girls! Diana made everyone look beautiful. All of the bridesmaids were so happy with their makeup look and wish they had Diana to do their makeup everyday!!! Absolutely amazing experience.

Lockstar Weddings made my hair and make-up wedding experience a breeze! Working with April was a smooth and easy experience which does not always happen with wedding planning. She was responsive to emails and worked to accommodate all my requests and needs. Their salon was clean and friendly for my trial and the experience was relaxing! Our makeup artist Holly and hair stylist Amy were both top notch stylists and I could not have been more happy with my experience. From the day I booked Lockstar Beauty Bar for my wedding, April was one of the most prompt & organized vendors that I worked with. She was clear with scheduling, communication and actually kept me organized in terms of my hair & make up needs! During my trial, both of my artists were friendly, warm and showed me my options for my wedding day. It was one of the first times in my wedding process that I truly felt like a bride! We had the best morning with Lyndsey, Giana, Ally & Colleen getting ready for my wedding at my parents’ airbnb. Our artists showed up early to help with set up & ran perfectly on time. The team of 4 styled 11 different bridesmaids & moms - a large undertaking, and every single person was happy with how their hair and make up came out. I decided to do something completely different from my trial with my hair & Lyndsey did such an amazing job working on the fly to help me make decisions & give me my dream wedding hair. My sister is a make up lover and learned a lot from Giana throughout the day…she was so sweet and helpful. It was POURING on our wedding day and I’ll never forget Lyndsey & Giana putting me at ease as I watched the rain fall outside, encouraging me to do what I really wanted with my wedding day look & reminding me to take all of the photos and just enjoy it. We worked together to make choices that would hold up better with the weather and definitely succeeded based on the end of the night pictures. Their warmth and advice went beyond what a hair & make up team needs to do and I really appreciated it throughout the day! I can’t recommend this team enough for their work, professionalism, organization and ability to make me feel like the best version of myself!

Lockstar was amazing to work with from my trial to my wedding day! I worked with Cassie, Diana and Holly and they were all fantastic! On my wedding day, the artists showed up on time and excited to be a part of my day. They all worked quickly to make sure we stick to our timeline, but were attentive to every detail and request and made sure to leave time for touchups. All of my bridesmaids walked away so happy with their looks and I felt so beautiful on my big day. I also love that they use high quality products, as I have really sensitive skin. I had no issues with any of the makeup or skin products they used. Their prices are so reasonable and working with April on our proposal and timeline was so easy and straightforward.

Thank you Lockstar Weddings for making myself, my sister and my mother look the best versions of ourselves for my wedding! Our stylist, Monica, is a total gem - she made the environment fun and upbeat with great music and fun stories while giving each of us one-of-a-kind glam sessions. Our hair and makeup lasted for the entire evening and radiated in all of our photos - pure magic! Lockstar was great! My mother and I went a few months in advance for hair and make up trials. The day of the wedding, the ladies arrived on time and ready to go. Both my mother and I pivoted a bit from our hair and make up trial and came out even better! Myself, all bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother in law looked beautiful. Everyone's hair and make up came out exactly as they wanted, and the team was willing to work with us to accomplish that. We ended up being ready early! Great all around experience.

Lockstar absolutely killed hair and makeup for our wedding!! I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup by Nancy and Cassie and Dorisa made my bridesmaids look and feel amazing! It was such a pleasure working with the entire team. They are all so kind a professional, highly recommend!!!

The Lockstar team is amazing. Brooke is quick to respond to your emails and is so on top of the schedule. Cassie did my hair - she was attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted. When a bridesmaid wanted a complicated up-do, Cassie and Michael pulled up a how to video and got it done. There was no length they wouldn't go to ensure we all felt our best. Diana did my makeup and nailed it. I do not wear a lot of makeup in general and have sensitive skin. She went over all the products with me and made me feel perfect with a makeup - no makeup look. I even bought all the products she used on me after the wedding!

April was my hair stylist for my wedding. She was patient with me as I did a couple of trials in order to figure out what look I wanted and totally nailed it once I figured out what I wanted! My bridesmaids were each so happy with their looks. I also had Cyan do my blowout for my rehearsal and she was excellent.

Working with Lockstar was a dream. As a COVId bride who had to reschedule the entire wedding, Lockstar made the entire process easy and stress free. I also had to do some last minute schedule reworking a few weeks and even days before the wedding and Lockstar was able to accommodate everything. I felt like a princess on my wedding day and my hair and makeup look reflected exactly what I had imagined. The entire team at Lockstar really is the best, I highly recommend!!

Candie was amazing to work with & organized our schedule was so crazy and they accommodated so well. even with a few unforeseen hiccups, the girls did EVERYTHING to make sure our day ran smoothly. Our hair and makeup came out exactly how we imagined.

I can't speak highly enough about Lockstar- I had Dorisa and Kelsey come to do hair and makeup for myself and my eight other bridesmaids/ my maid of honor and they made what could have been a very stressful process so easygoing and FUN. Candie is also extremely organized and made communication about pricing and payments a very easy process. I (being incredibly indecisive) changed my hair and makeup style a few weeks before the wedding (I decided to do more dramatic makeup and I bought hair extensions, which we didn't do either at the trial) and both Kelsey and Dorisa were unbelievably accommodating and reassuring that they could handle whatever changes I threw their way- and wow they were right- I felt BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day. I really can't thank these ladies enough. I absolutely recommend using Lockstar Beauty Bar for your wedding.

I am so happy we used LockStar for our wedding! They did an amazing job with both hair and makeup. The company is so easy to work with as they respond quickly to emails, they are all so friendly, and everyone took the time to really listen to what we wanted!

I am so thankful for everyone on the Lockstar Beauty Bar team! I booked them from a recommendation from a friend for my wedding and she was right--they are awesome! They are truly experts at what they do and both listen to you and make suggestions. I was lucky to work with Kelsey, Jillian and Caitlyn and everyones hair and makeup turned our great. Candi was so easy to coordinate with and everything was so seemless. I can't recommend them enough!

I had the pleasure of having April do my hair & bridal party for our May 2021 wedding! She was professional and worked quickly on each girl, she hustled! She was detailed and accommodating to everyones request. The Lockstar Salon was clean and inviting when I went in for my trial as well! She brought my vision to life and I couldn't have asked for anything better!

The staff was so professional and accommodating for our COVID-friendly wedding. They took all the safety precautions to make everyone feel comfortable, while performing their job perfectly! No one other than the bride really knew what they wanted and they made everyone look and feel beautiful!

Candie & April at Lockstar Beauty Bar were amazing! They made me feel so comfortable & special on both my trial day & wedding day. They are both very professional & super friendly. A few days before my wedding, there was a timing issue brought to my attention with the venue. I notified Candie & she responded back immediately saying both her & April could accommodate me for an earlier time even though they were going to be busy. They really care about their clients, particularly their bridal customers. And despite a hot day for my wedding, my hair & makeup stayed in place! Wow!!! I found Lockstar Beauty Bar as I was scrambling to find hair and makeup for a last-minute microwedding this summer. Candi and her team were absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding. Despite needing to come to us by ferry and having to work with all the new restrictions, they were incredibly prepared and professional. Also, their work is second to none! All of the ladies looked gorgeous and were so, so happy with their services. Thank you again!

Lockstar did an excellent job with my hair and makeup for my wedding. I just needed hair/makeup for myself so they were able to accommodate me in salon the morning of my wedding. They helped make my day stress free, everything was done on time and just how we had planned in the trial. Dorisa did my makeup. She really knows how to tailor her design to the individual to make you look your best. She is very nice and super talented. She had all the products we used in our trial ready to go. Nancy did my hair. She has a ton of experience with weddings and really did the best with my hair that I have seen anyone do. I had trials at a couple places before the wedding, but Nancy was able to get the most volume with my thinner hair and achieve the look I wanted. I highly recommend the Lockstar team.

April and her team did an amazing job with my bridesmaids', family's, and my hair and makeup for my wedding! April was super organized and helpful, and her team was so friendly and made us feel at ease. Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and it all lasted all night! Definitely recommend!

My experience with Lockstar Beauty Bar was fantastic! We worked with April who was able to do hair styling for 4 girls plus myself in one day. April and her team were amazing and we are so grateful to have been able to work with them this past summer! They were so efficient and organized scheduling everything leading up to our wedding, from the hair and make up trial to the detailed wedding day timeline. They worked on site at my parents house and were totally flexible setting up around what we had available; their new salon is really nice too and in a great location if you’re going to get ready there. They worked really quickly but spent time getting to know each girl and asking what everyone’s preferences were. None of us were used to wearing too much make up and they did a great job making everything look very natural. Our wedding day was 100 degrees outdoors and my hair and make up stayed on the whole night!! Newport weddings can get really pricey but after doing lots of research, I know that Lockstar is priced very reasonably for the area. Highly recommended :) Thank you April and team!!!

April and her team did such an amazing job for me and my girls on my wedding day! I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup and was super nervous about getting it done. April and Marianne made sure I felt absolutely beautiful and confident. Honestly I have never felt so beautiful and probably never will again 😂. Picking a great hair and makeup vendor for our big day was very important to me. I searched around and spoke with multiple other vendors until I found April & her team of stylists. They were great at communicating from day one. April was able to perfect my perfect bride look with just 1-2 trials of hair & makeup. From my makeup to three different hair up-dos for my big wedding weekend her team did a wonderful job. Which included my engagement shoot, wedding day, and the day after my wedding a simple updo for the Newport polo match. April & her team of stylist created each hairstyle perfectly and just the way I imagined it with every fine detail in place. The team made me & my girls feel so special and beautiful. Their friendly and outgoing nature blending so well with my bridesmaids and I. It was such a fun day of getting ready! April did an amazing job on everyone's hair, but she was so much more than a hairstylist! She got all of us excited, took pictures and sent them to me, helped me get my bridal hair comb in my gorgeous braided bun, and she just felt like another one of the girls. You cannot beat the bridal package price! They were incredibly flexible and easy to work with. If a bridesmaid needed a quick fix on an eyelash or another wanted a piece of hair adjusted as we were getting ready- it was a non-issue. I am so happy with their work and highly recommend them. They were prompt, fun, flexible and efficient! Thank you April & her team!

April and Marianne were AMAZING! My MOH, bridesmaid, and I absolutely loved how our hair and makeup came out. Everything was flawless, and April and Marianne were very punctual and efficient. The hair and makeup turned out better than we could have imagined, and they were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for future brides on their big day!

I hired Lockstar for my wedding hair as well as my bridesmaids, mother, and flower girl. April and Lauren were fantastic. They were ahead of schedule and did an amazing job with everyone's hair. I did not have a trial beforehand as I did not live close to Newport, and also had just had extensions put in the week before. April handled it all with ease. I have a lot of hair and with the added 5 packs (most people get 3packs) of hair added in, it was no easy task to maneuver. They were both a pleasure to work with and I recommend them both!

April was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was very responsive and and very understanding when I wanted changes. She certainly helped to create my vision of the look I wanted for myself and my bridal party.

What a fun experience! Myself and a few others went here for some pampering before a night out on the town with our bride to be. We were looking around in Newport for a fun salon that would serve as an activity. They opened the salon for us on a Saturday and we had the whole place to ourselves. They had a really cute room with a couch all decorated and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. They also let us bring in our own food to snack on. April, the salon owner, was the best! She was very sweet and was flexible to accommodate everyone's different budgets. It's a hair outside of the downtown Newport area, but worth the quick drive if you're looking for a personalized, fun spa day!
