This was the best experience ever! Could not have dreamed of a more beautiful cake, not to mention hands down Delicious! We were down for parents 50th Anniversary vow renewal and it was awesome! Ms April was phenomenal! Her attention to detail and knowledge of her craft were second to none! She helped me through this process and honestly, I had no idea what I was doing (but she made me look good). I would definitely recommend her service and if I am every in the area again in need of a specialty desert; I believe I have already found the best! Bonnie is the best cake out there! It was so delicious and the grooms cake was amazing, it was a Playstation remote. The main wedding cake surpass my expectations and it was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen! It was steampunk. Definitely recommend them, it's worth every penny!!! I attached a picture of our wedding cake!

April provided 2 wonderful cakes for our wedding day that we really enjoyed! The wedding cake was exactly what I wanted! :) We chose her peach bourbon, salted caramel, and lemon raspberry flavors and they were all a hit. She even did a grooms cake shaped like a Blackhawk which my husband loved! Communication was challenging, but the end result was appreciated.

I was looking for a custom cake & matching cupcakes for a a Christmas Eve event. After a month of frustration, and no baker or bakery returning my calls; April responded quickly & was so eager to help. She simply said "send me the pictures of what you're looking for & I can make it happen." After driving into Seagrove from Houston 9 1/2 hours, I didn't have to worry about driving out to Destin to pick up my custom order. April personally drove them out to me at our condo. When she brought them inside and opened the boxes, I was blown away. The cake was absolute art and the matching cupcakes adorable! I was beyond pleased. They brought my friend to tears that evening when we surprised her. The strawberry cake and buttercream icing were divine! April is my absolute go to girl from now on whenever I need custom treats! The price was reasonable based on the product she delivered. No complaints whatsoever. Please consider her for your custom cake & cupcake needs.

April was amazing! We gave her a couple of inspiration pictures and she created the most beautiful cakes and mini desserts! We met with her for a tasting and she was very personable and listened to what we wanted. We decided to order a groom’s cake and six various desserts in addition to our wedding cake. She gave us recommendations on how much we would need with our guest count. She was also able to rent out the perfect cake and dessert displays. Everything was a hit- especially the salted caramel groom’s cake! Thank you April!

April did an amazing job on our wedding cake! With a just a few pictures for inspiration, she created the most beautiful cake that was absolutely perfect. Not only was our cake beautiful, it was so delicious! April is great to work with and creates delicious masterpieces!

April made my wedding cake for my destination wedding. Of course planning a destination wedding without being able to meet vendors face to face is a bit hard but I'm glad I found April because the cake was exactly how I envisioned it and not to mention the taste of the cake and icing was so good! Definitely recommend Bonnie Vie to anyone!

They did my daughter’s 16th birthday cake and it was the theme of the Labyrinth (Jim Henson’s) It was an amazing cake and it tasted delicious. Would highly recommend them.

My son and his fiance' let me know a month before our summer vacation to Destin that they just wanted to get married on the beach while we were there. I called April and told her what I was looking for. Without any taste testing and face to face conversations, she took my order over the phone and I blindly left everything up to her. Both the wedding cake and the groom's cake were delivered on time and were extremely beautiful! The taste was out of this world and more than I could have dreamed of!!! Everyone was so impressed with those cakes. I would recommend April and Bonne Vie to anyone looking for the absolute best!! Thank you so much for saving the day April!!! The cake was absolutely stunning and DELICIOUS! Having a destination wedding, my husband and I took a huge risk of not taste testing foods and cakes, but April met way beyond my expectations. Her cakes are reasonably priced compared to other local bakeries and she provides a large variety of flavors. I had 4 different flavors and every one of them was so yummy! If you want a great looking and delicious cake, you should book April for your wedding!

What can I say other than the cake was nothing less of "heavenly"! My wedding was a destination wedding in Destin and so to initially choose a baker was a bit of a challenge, but after speaking to our reception venue, Bonne Vie came more than highly recommended. I and my fiance traveled to Destin in September to meet with April and for design/tasting...after meeting with April and tasting her incredible flavors, I had no doubt that April was the lady to create my dream cake. I had a simple, but elegant design with fresh flowers...it was beautiful, but mind you...my cake was more about the taste than anything else. Although we only had a total of 24 people, we chose a cake to serve 75 (after reading several reviews, we had no doubt that it was smarter to up the size as her cake is so good, people want more than the standard "cake slice".) On May 20th, we had no disappointment...we had a white cake with one layer of peach bourbon and another with banana's foster and it was fantastic. The cake was decorated exactly according to my wishes. The only reason I rated 3 stars for responsiveness is that she is so busy in her craft that sometimes it can be difficult to get an immediate response, but this is a minor thing...the cake is worth it!

April did an amazing job on our cake! She was so flexible to work with, and our cake design was exactly as we envisioned. We had simple tiers of white and chocolate cake. The top tier of Rice Krispie treats was yummy! I would recommend April to everyone.
