Ashley is one of the best wedding photographers in the DC area. From the moment I reached out to Ashley about her pricing and availability, she has been very responsive. Ashley did an amazing job with our engagement pictures by helping us with the variety of different ways to pose! When it came time to planning the wedding, Ashley helped with the scheduling as well to make sure all of our important details were captured. Ashley was not only just our photographer, but she became another friend that we had at our wedding. If you are thinking about hiring Ashley as your photographer, we would highly recommend her over and over again!

Ashley and her second shooter were amazing! They had such genuine personalities which helped us feel comfortable in a not so comfortable place (in front of a camera). She gave a precious photos that we will cherish forever!

Run, don't walk....and book Ashley now!! My husband and I met Ashley at a wedding expo several years ago. One of my coworkers at the time had a photography business, but she was booked the day of our wedding. She recommended Ashley and said we would be in great hands...and she was absolutely right! We had our initial meeting at a coffee shop where Ashley gave us a rundown of what would be included in our package, what to expect, and she answered any questions we had. We took our engagement photos in VERY cold temps, but Ashley was a trooper and got us some great shots despite the wind and cold. She even offered beforehand to shoot on a different day, but we didn't want to reschedule. And after the shoot, she said if we weren't happy with the shots, she would redo them, but there was no need!! Like many couples in 2020, my husband and I made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Ashley was accommodating when we were picking a new date. The entire time her communication was on point. Ashley and Zach shot our Sept 2021 wedding this past fall and they did a PHENOMENAL job. Both have great personalities and got every shot we wanted and then some. We love our photos so much and I am so thankful to have met and worked with someone as sweet as Ashley.

Ashley was amazing to work with! She was very flexible when we had to change our date due to the pandemic. She made sure everything was taken care of the day of so I didn’t have to worry about anything! She answers very quickly if we had any questions and always helped us make decisions or gave her opinions when we asked!

Ashley was a wonderful photographer who made us laugh and smile the whole time. Things always felt natural with her, we could have done pictures all day!

Ashley took my daughter and her fiancé’s engagement pictures. They were wonderful. She even traveled to Florida for it. On the day of the wedding, it started out great. She was on time and took some pictures. The first look was amazing. There were also a lot of great photos of the wedding party. After the wedding, there were a lot of family photos that were taken. Some were great. Some were disappointing because the people were not positioned correctly. The biggest disappointment of the day was there were no closeups of the ceremony except a couple of the groom when the bride came in. Most of the ceremony pictures included the entire wedding party. No closeups of the bride at all. The pictures of them exchanging rings are so far away you have to look closely at the picture to even see it. When it was time for the kiss, the preacher moved to the side so it would only be the bride and groom in the photo. Unfortunately, the preacher as well as the maid of honor and best man were in the picture. The pictures of the ceremony were such a big disappointment because that is the most important part. You can’t recreate that or get it back. The moment is gone and we have no pictures to capture the happiness on their faces. I do not recommend this photographer for your wedding. She would be great for couples pictures. But big groups and weddings are not her strength.

I had met Ashley at a bridal expo, and after speaking with her, I knew that I had wanted her to be my photographer by looking at her sample work and taking a few minutes to speak with her. From the time of meeting her in 2019 to my wedding in October 2020, she had taken engagement and family portraits for me. Ashley has a great way of making you feel natural, relaxed, and comfortable in front of the camera. In addition, Ashley does a great job of communicating. She is very prompt and detailed in her responses. Not only does she take amazing photos, but she helped me plan my timeline, as well as give wedding suggestions based off of her experiences. On the day of my wedding, Ashley was prompt to the ceremony site. Ashley took detailed photographs of all areas of my ceremony, as well as capturing candids (these are some of my favorites!). While I was getting ready, she was also coming in to check on me to make sure that everything was going well. Lastly, prior to the wedding, she requested a detailed list for family portraits. This helped them go by smoothly. My favorite part about Ashley is that you are more than a client to her. She takes the time to create a bond with you. She is open and willing to try any suggestions that you may have. Also, she is very creative in her positioning and poses that are flattering to the individual. I would highly recommend Ashley Elizabeth Photography for any special moment that you need captured. Ashley has provided me with pictures that I will truly cherish for a lifetime.

Ashley was the photographer for my sisters wedding this past weekend. She was completely professional, friendly, and phenomenal! She made sure that every picture necessary was taken and more! She had the patience to deal with the bridal party and even take our requests for pictures. I woke up the next morning to many of the pictures already edited and shared to the bride and groom (which were beautiful!). I would definitely recommend this photographer for weddings and much more!

Ashley captured our intimate ceremony perfectly! I reached out to her soon after getting engaged with a nontraditional wedding event. She helped customize a package and took pictures at the intimate ceremony and then at our wedding reception. The communication was amazing and flexibility with the pandemic! We now have beautiful photos to cherish for a lifetime!

Ashley was fantastic. She was wonderfully organized and the pictures were beyond beautiful. She did amazing with older family members and my four rowdy boys. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer (:

We have hired Ashley Elizabeth Photography for his wedding also . She did an outstanding job fir my daughter’s wedding. She was so warm and friendly but also very professional. She was flexible and accessible. Everyone felt so comfortable around her. She will get all my business . I am positive my son’ experience and photographs for his wedding will be beautiful as well!
