Dr. Stephan Smith was absolutely wonderful! He officiated our wedding on 9.21 and we could not have asked for a better officiant. He was very communicative and answered any questions we had. He knew exactly what to do for the rehearsal dinner and I believe he was a big reason our rehearsal and actual ceremony went so well. Nairu and Adam ~ Married on 6/28/2024 Dr. Smith was perfect. He was very responsive and attentive to our needs through our entire wedding day. His years of experience also showed in his responses. Although our needs were simple, he went above and beyond and made sure we were comfortable. The ceremony was heartfelt and tearful, and he even handed a clean handkerchief to us shortly after the ceremony.. That action alone showed us Dr Smith's pure kindness. We highly recommend him.

We got married 6/22/24 at stonehouse farm. Dr smith was wonderful, super easy to work with, he was able to make last minute changes for us and the day went smoothly and made us feel comfortable! Would 100% recommend him to anyone!

My husband Tyler and I could not be more happy with how Dr. Smith worked with us during our wedding planning/rehearsal process, and how well he officiated on the big day. He worked with us before the wedding to help craft our ceremony, and was very helpful by providing several excellent examples for us to draw inspiration from. We had a non-religious wedding, and using the examples he sent us, we were able to craft a wonderful ceremony we were both happy with. He is very responsive, extremely thorough with all the important information we needed to know as an engaged couple, and extremely easy to work with. He was extremely flexible with what we wanted implemented in our ceremony, I changed my mind several times throughout the process and he was accommodating every time. We were also planning our wedding out of state, and this was never an issue during the planning process with him. When it came to the big day he spoke very eloquently, all our friends and family were raving about how beautiful the ceremony was. He helped run our rehearsal, while also communicating back and forth with our wedding coordinator, which made us feel much more comfortable come the day of the actual wedding, we worried for nothing knowing it was in good hands! We would highly recommend hiring Dr. Smith to officiate your wedding, we could not be happier with how our day turned out, we will look back fondly on our decision to have him officiate for us.

Could not be happier with the service we received. Very professional and very helpful as well as being available on such short notice. Especially in our case (we were a bit confused on how the exchanging of vows happen) he was able to help us plan and explain how things would happen during the exchanging of our vows. Also he has very reasonable prices as well as being flexible and able to plan how you want the exchanging of vows to go. Highly recommended! you won’t be disappointed.

Dr. Smith was wonderful. He was extremely communicative and thorough throughout all of our meetings with him. He truly wanted to get to know my (now husband!) and I before our ceremony. We are very happy with our choice of Dr Smith as our wedding officiant on June 17, 2023. From our very first meeting, Dr Smith had a confident and calming presence. My husband and I decided to have a small elopement ceremony with family 6/12/23. Unfortunately closer to the date our officiant was no longer available! I read Stephan's reviews on The Knot and decided to reach out to him and I am so glad I did. He was responsive and very approachable over the phone. We met for the first time on the day of the ceremony and he was such a delight, he has such a radiating positive personality. Our families were thoroughly impressed with him as well and kept on asking where we found him. Dr. Smith was wonderful. He was our officiant for our wedding in June. We found him while searching for officiants in August last year on the Knot. His reviews were what excited us about him. I reached out and he gave me a breakdown of his services and pricing and requested to meet us in person over coffee to get to know us and learn a little bit more about what we were looking for in our officiant and ceremony. The in person meeting was a great way to get to know Dr. Smith and what he's all about. After speaking with him and going over what we envisioned for our ceremony we decided to book him that night. He sent us a variety of ceremony options to mix and match and make our own. Together we were able to create a beautiful ceremony we both loved. We had him join us for our rehearsal the night before the wedding. He was able to instruct everyone on what works best and was really helpful with giving us an idea on what to expect for the day of. On our actual wedding day he was brilliant. He spoke loudly and clearly and the ceremony was everything we hoped for. He gave us a little book with our printed ceremony as a keepsake. Stephan was AMAZING! We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant to share the day with. First, after find him randomly via another officiant, he was so quick to meet with us. He meet with us locally, gave us some ideas for the ceremony, and stayed in great communication through the process. As we got closer he helped create a custom ceremony, and a memorial experience for the guests. He was on time for rehearsal, even when we ran behind he stayed patient and answered all our questions. Dr. Smith made our ceremony about US which is exactly what we were looking for. Not many people get comments from guests on their ceremony but we sure did.
