This is the most amazing venue and weekend getaway for the family! It was the perfect setting and location with a mix of trees, a rustic ranch, creeks and waterfalls.
The most laid-back and sweetest people operate this venue and were a joy to work with. The property's beauty is incomparable and we got the most amazing pictures! We enjoyed staying all weekend and enjoying the area and we are already planning a trip to return to the land and enjoy the gorgeous river and sunshine again!
The only complaint we had was the property dogs were constantly getting out when they weren't supposed be and our older dog doesn't do well with new big dogs so that was frustrating, but they told us that they built a new enclosure for the dogs to avoid this in the future and even let us return to the venue for pictures after our day! Highly recommend this venue overall.
We had our wedding at redwood ranch and it is indescribably beautiful. People kept asking where we found it. It rained but tents and straw made it useable still. The parking only fits 40-50 cars but they offer solutions for bigger weddings to help with that. They also provide tables and chairs which is super helpful for budgeting. The thing I think most stood out about the ranch is the freedom they give you. It’s pretty much your event and they have very few restrictions. I personally found that awesome but just realize at the same time you have to coordinate almost everything yourself so everything will fall on how much you put into it and it requires a lot of planning. They are very helpful as far as answering questions to help you plan and they make sure you’re all settled and have a ranch manager to help you onsite with many of your needs. So overall it’s beautiful, there’s lots of freedom, free tables and chairs included, camping allowed (at a small fee), lots of self planning, and a party that goes on all night is how I would sum it up. Would recommend to any outdoorsy person who doesn’t mind a bit of planning or anyone that just wants a beautiful venue and has a wedding planner to help them. Jalene and Andrew thanks again!
Any questions?
First let me tell you that I was not planning on doing our wedding for at least another year. As I was browsing online for potential venues, I don’t know how I came across Redwood Ranch Three Rivers since it was 5 hours from my tentative desired location. But let me tell you.... I saw the pictures and instantly fell in love. We literally expedited our wedding and only had 2 months until the big day.
We wanted something intimate, simple, fun, amongst nature, and had more of a family-union vibe as opposed to the whole-shebang. I saw that Redwood Ranch was able to accommodate lodging and camping for us and our guests— so this was a huge plus because we had to drive out there.
I contacted Andrew George and communication was top notch. He and I exchanged conversations on the phone and was able to have it all written down for me through email immediately. I had a lot of questions since I was not able to physically scout this place but he and I had discussions and he reassured and gave me many recommendations.
We arrived there just when the sun was setting and I was in absolute awe of how beautiful Redwood Ranch is. It was clean, well kept, and the views was absolutely stunning.
There were two kitchens in the barn, which made cooking so convenient. Everyone, including the children, had a lot of fun experiencing camping, sitting along the campfire, playing pool, walking the trail, waking up to the peacocks, seeing the cows, horses, and donkeys, dipping our feet in the water (it was Nov—so the water was cold), and taking photos in such a picturesque place. Literally, even the portapottys were so clean and pretty that my guests were taking pictures...
I basically only really had one other vendor which was for chairs and tables and they were able to get to the barn safely. Jalene provided me with instructions to send them to ensure that they don’t get lost. She also emailed me before and during my stay to ask if we needed anything. It was very sweet.
Jose, the caretaker, did a wonderful job showing my family around and was just a very pleasant and helpful man. He does a great job taking care of the property!
We had a very simple wedding with minimal decor since we didn’t want to bring too much up there, but this place really did not need much—it is beautiful on its own. Our guests were all so pleasantly surprised and voiced out how much they enjoyed just being there. I can’t say enough about Redwood Ranch. I could only wish that we were able to stay longer...
Thank you so much Redwood Ranch Three Rivers for the hospitality, the endless views, and perfect accommodation. My family and I have created so much unforgettable memories in our short time there. We would not want to get married anywhere else. I highly recommend booking a wedding here!
As soon as we arrived at Redwood Ranch, we knew we had to book it for our wedding. It was beyond prefect and the complements we received from friends and family were numerous. We decided to rent the venue for 4 days and I’m so glad we did. It allowed us to truly appreciate the venue and spend time with family and friends. It also made our wedding weekend so much more enjoyable and less stressful. Any problems that did arise, the caretaker was quick to help. We loved our stay there and would eventually love to go back. Too bad I think word of their secret venue is getting out which may make it more difficult to book again!

Robin, Thank you so much for reviewing us. It was a pleasure having you as our guests. Please visit again!
Redwood Ranch is a truly exceptional venue in the mountains of Three Rivers, CA. It is a beautiful spot for an outdoorsy wedding and an even better spot to have your guests stay and enjoy. We loved staying there the whole weekend and having our wedding party stay there too. We were able to take full advantage of the hikes and swimming pools on the property. Plunging into a icy-cool pool of water on your wedding morning is a great way to get yourself ready and energized for the big day. I would definitely recommend staying three nights at least (the night before, the night of and the night after) to really get the best experience. It is great to have the animals around the whole weekend and to take in the stunning views on this huge piece of property. The staff at the ranch were lovely, fun and very helpful and we enjoyed working with them all. If wild, beautiful and natural is your kind of wedding feel, then this is definitely the place for you!
This place is unlike anything I've ever seen before. Every little detail just makes it absolutely magical, from the gorgeous, modern barn-house to the swimming hole. My fiancee and I recently got married here (stay was Sep. 29-Oct 1) the backdrop was the most beautiful! Every guest commented on how lovely the river and mountain landscape was, several saying it was the most beautiful place they'd ever been. The bridge and swimming hole not only made for a great time with friends before the wedding, but a perfect setting for photos. Although the water was chilly, our friends had the best time swimming and relaxing among the butterflies and birds. The ceremony site overlooked the river, and the reception site worked great with the dance floor we brought in. We hired a DJ, caterer, and ran shuttles from a local hotel, and everything went perfectly. I can't recommend this location highly enough for anything you may need, from a family reunion to a work retreat. Honestly, all of our friends said it was one of the best getaways they had, and they were helping to set up the day before! Nobody wanted to leave because everything we needed was right there. We were shocked to see how well-stocked the kitchen and rest of the house was, so we left behind a few of our spices and rolls of toilet paper to say thank you for all the supplies we used. It slept the 12 we had with us more than comfortably, and I'm sure it could have slept more. The two kitchens made it incredibly convenient, and our caterer had no trouble using the upstairs kitchen to prepare a fantastic meal. If you don't feel like bringing all your food for the weekend, you can travel to town, about a twenty minute drive away. We purchased take and bake pizzas from Sierra Subs and Salads and made our own pizzas at the house. Every morning we collected eggs from the chicken coop...nothing like fresh eggs! The owner, Andrew, provided excellent service, and takes great pride in this property. If you are willing to put in the work to make this blank canvas your dream location, this is the perfect venue for a rustic wedding. Thank you Redwood River Ranch - we hope to find another reason to come back!
We had a fabulous time in Three Rivers making the Ranch our secluded home for a long weekend! It was the perfect spot for our smallish, relaxed backyard wedding and easily hosted our family and friends the night before for the rehearsal dinner. The weather was excellent and the caretaker was responsive to our requests. The place is so incredibly picturesque, the hardest part about staying there was limiting the spots to take photos! Andrew, the owner, was on-hand nearby to recommend hiking spots and make sure everyone was satisfied with our stay. We had our reception at Ol’ Buckaroo. If you’re staying, you MUST eat at Ol’ Buckaroo at least once before you leave town - their fried chicken is so good it turned the vegan in our group back into a carnivore! Obviously, you should also head into Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We’ll be back!”
