It was very important to us that we had a ceremony that reflected the importance of Christ in our relationship, but felt contemporary and more like us than a traditional hour-long wedding. Rev. She ran the rehearsal and ceremony on the day of like a boss. As sweet and kind as she is, Marcia knows how to whip a group of 20 loud and talkative people into shape and keep things moving. It was exactly what we needed to have someone step up, lead the way, and take charge of what was happening for that portion of our big day. We absolutely loved hearing stories from our guest after the wedding because Marcia was one of their highlights! We were giddy to hear how much they loved her take on our love story, how she made each guest feel special for being there, and even how she made an effort to talk with guests at the reception afterward. We made it a priority to invite Marcia to our rehearsal dinner and reception so that she could be a true part of our wedding day. It meant so much that she stayed and spent that time with us, blessing each and every person she talked with that night. We would recommend Reverend Marcia 1,000 times over. You’ll be thankful such a blessing of a woman married you.

That theme was carried forward to the Christenings, where each guest giving a wish for the child using a blessing stone. It was a pleasure to work with Rev. Marcia in planning and implementing each of these special occasions. She is a very special person and I can't thank her enough for her support and guidance.

Every word was heartfelt, but not overdone; as well as to the point, but never dull at any moment. The other very intimate and special thing she did was when we were rehearsing she did it with all of our party, then for our vows she had every leave as we practiced by ourselves. She immediately took charge and made sure that everyone knew where they were going, what to do, and the flow of everything. A about a month or two before the wedding, we sat down with Marcia and went over a questionnaire that she had given us prior to our meeting with her. After telling her our story and deciding on key things we wanted to be in our ceremony, Marcia took it from there. My husband and I met at Kmart and our best man and maid of honor worked there with us. It was one of our co-workers who pushed us together, and that was mentioned in our story. It received quite a few laughs because she was at the ceremony. I also liked that she has examples of many different ways to express your vows if you choose not to write your own and you are able to pick exactly which way you want to express your love. It is no lie when she says that you personalize your ceremony and get exactly what you want. After reading the questionnaire, she meets with you personally and you put together an outline of the ceremony, after the meeting she writes your ceremony and emails it to you so you are able to critique it and make any changes you wish so that your wedding day is as you imagine it to be. She even takes charge at the rehearsal and makes sure that everyone knows where to go, when to go, and how fast to go when walking down the aisle. I thought it was great that she knew exactly how long my husband and I were supposed to kiss so that everyone could get the best pictures. My only complaint is that Marcia didn't stick around for very long after the ceremony. We signed the license and got a quick picture together and then she was gone. I would have like to have had a moment to thank her for the lovely ceremony and being so great, but I didn't have the chance.

married on the Steam Yacht Louise on Geneva Lake in early October 2015. Marcia took control of the wedding party getting everyone prepared for the ceremony with a fifteen minute rehearsal on the Yacht while keeping everyone calm and relaxed. She's a master at Calm!
