Laruen was amazing this place was absolutely beautiful and me and my wife loved every moment. She was accommodating and so professional. She was always quick to get back with us when we called or emailed. The value for as many places I called was perfect there was no minimum we had 75 we paid for 75. Don't hesitate to use them.
We recently got married at Rhodes Ranch and if I could, I would give it 0 stars. I should have known from the review someone else posted that it was going to be a nightmare. When I first looked into Rhodes Ranch I was working with Celeste, and she was great at first and then when the pandemic happened it was like pulling teeth to get her to respond to my emails. I found out she was on furlough but was also responding to emails. I kept asking if our date was still available and she kept saying no. I wasn't sure if she was saying they weren't doing weddings because of the pandemic or if our date really wasn't available. Finally, around October 2020 I called the golf course directly and ended up speaking with Dave the Director of Food & Beverage. He told us our date was available for the ceremony and for the rehearsal dinner. He told me that the ceremony normally would cost $2,500 and when i told him that I couldn't see us paying that amount for a 20-minute ceremony he dropped it down to $1,000. He emailed me after we spoke and told me he was going to reserve the indoor space for 50 people for our rehearsal dinner for August 5 and the ceremony spot for August 7.
Around April 2021, I received an email from Celeste saying she was back part time and wanted to go over some information. At that time, she also told me they were adding bistro lighting to the ceremony spot, and we could now have an evening ceremony. I asked if there was a way to remove them because I feel in love with the view without the bistro lights. She told me no and they were permeant. The first week of May my fiancé (hubby now) and I decided to go down to the golf course to feel out the weather in the ceremony spot since we were getting married outside in August. That is when I saw the bistro lights and pretty much lost it. From my conversation with Celeste, she told me they couldn't be removed so I started freaking out because I didn't want to get married with those god-awful lights above us. When I went into the club house both Dave and Celeste were there, and I told them I hated those lights. I got so upset because I was being told by Celeste that they couldn't be remove and then Dave told me he would look into getting them removed for our wedding. Dave ended up emailing me that week saying he can have the lights removed but not the poles. They kept saying the poles were welded in, which they weren't. Even our photographer said it was easy to remove the poles. Since the whole bistro lighting situation happened everything went downhill from there. I felt like they didn't care about our wedding because we weren't paying the full amount and they were mad that they had to take down the lights. Even Dave made comments that it was going to cost him $1,000 to remove the lights.
I need to warn anyone considering Rhodes Ranch for their wedding. They used to have a coordinator, Kristen Raftery, who was great, well organized, patient, compassionate--the list goes on. She left Rhodes Ranch sometime after I got married, and now there is a man, Dave Williams, in charge of food and beverages, that is absolutely horrible, horrendous, heinous (all the negative h words that exist). I spoke with him because some time after we got married, we realized that 72 of our bistro light bulbs that were used at the wedding (brand new when we arrived, never used since), were taken after they dissembled the decorations (because only their staff put up and take down everything), and he states he has no accountability for what happened and basically implied that I am lying. To replace the lights is $80. $80. A huge golf/country club like this isn't able to help pay for some lights that were probably misplaced BY THEM? Like $40 would be fine. $20 even. But show that you care about protecting people's belongings and the fact that they are trusting you with these things for one of the most important days of their life. But washing your hands of it?? Unacceptable. I asked Kristen for help and she directed me toward Dave and literally said, "I'm sure they'll rectify it 😊." Smiley face and all. Boy was she wrong!! Let's just hope you don't use this venue and lose something truly important to you, like an heirloom, because at least all I lost was something replaceable. I just don't think it's worth it since they clearly have proven they won't do what it takes to make things right.
Where do I begin? Rhodes Ranch was seriously the perfect place to have our wedding. Celeste, the wedding planner there, did an amazing job at giving us everything we wanted. We wanted a way less traditional wedding with a consumption bar and passed appetizers. We even added a taco bar. We customized so much for a great price. Celeste has so many wedding decorations to work with and add to our day to save money. She really did make everything come together so beautifully without any stress. My husband and I plan to have anniversary parties there every year now.
Where do I begin? This venue was everything we could have wanted and then some. We are from the Chicagoland area but wanted a Las Vegas wedding near my new mother-in-law. We found Rhodes Ranch by recommendation, and we had no idea how lucky we were! From the very beginning, Celeste made the process so seamless. She worked with us from afar to create the non-traditional taco bar reception of our dreams and helped us to arrange a rehearsal brunch at the venue for the day before the wedding. The quote we received was more reasonable than any other location we priced out and it included not only incredible service but access to decor and extras that we did not have to purchase and send over. On the big day, everything was PERFECT! The tables looked straight out of my imagination, the ceremony space was gorgeous, and the “extras” were placed perfectly. The staff were so attentive and made sure that my husband and I had food and drinks while we took pictures and mingled with our guests. Celeste also connected us with our DJ, photo booth, and recommended a hair and makeup team that totally nailed it. All in all, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect location for our wedding or a more professional execution.
We had planned the reception the day after our wedding. Our reception was planned at the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. It was small and intimate. We came in with the décor and they arranged it so it was part of the reception décor. Their food was excellent. Their cake service was excellent. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a phenomenal wedding venue! My guests left saying our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to, and the food was the most delicious! I am a Canadian bride who had a destination wedding; Celeste, the wedding coordinator at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club made planning our wedding easy and stress-free, and the day of was seamless, relaxed, and perfect! I absolutely recommend Rhodes Ranch Golf Club as a wedding venue, especially if you are planning from a distance.
The location I see stunning. The staff were so attentive and on the ball. The event coordinator was so great and way to work with. All our guests had an amazing time as did we!
Pros: beautiful ceremony spot, unique setup, indoor & outdoor setting, great food, can't beat the price, service was great to bride & groom, lots of compliments from guests on venue and food, ability to change package (brought in our own cake, officiant)
Cons: difficulty reaching coordinator throughout the process on and off, lack of communication for how day of would go (I wasn't told what to do until 10 minutes till walking which makes for an even more nervous bride), Rhodes Ranch coordinator failed to inform us that our "day of coordinator" was an outside company, messed up the floor chart table numbers thus 1 parent table and table of bridesmaids were far away and in corners, failure of communication amongst the staff for how bar would go with our tab, bar refused to sell drinks to guest prior to ceremony, group of parents and high school students (living within the community) bombarded ceremony spot immediately after the ceremony to take homecoming photos thus we couldn't use the spot for photos afterwards
RHODES RANCH
I got married at the MOST beautiful place in the United States. Rhodes Ranch Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada is simply the best. It has warm sunshine, palm trees, beautiful green grass, lakes and waterfalls, and mountains. Everything a girl could want in a beautiful outdoor wedding.
The service we received from the wedding coordinator, Justine Jackson, was phenomenal. She was such a blessing to us. We are from Virginia and trying to plan a destination wedding can be tricky. However, Justine has the BEST vendors. The photographer, florist, DJ and bakery are awesome. I barely had to do anything. They made my life so easy. We even had an emergency and my mom was admitted to the hospital and Justine and the vendors just took over and did everything for me. They even offered to run errands for me.
I can't say enough about how beautiful my wedding was. I changed the start time of the wedding 3 times and Justine and vendors never blinked an eye. They are very flexible and accommodating.
The food was so good. Most of the time so much is going on the bride doesn't eat. Well let me tell you one taste of the food and it doesn't matter what is going on, you are going to eat and ask for seconds.
Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is the best place in Las Vegas to have a beautiful wedding and the price is awesome for all they provide.
Hats off to you Justine, your recommended vendors and Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. We absolutely had the VERY BEST and fun day in our lives.
Thank you from the core of my heart.
I loved Rhodes Ranch! I only had my ceremony there, but it was amazing! It is such a beautiful venue! Justine really went out of her way to make sure everything went perfectly. The only thing is that there were 3 different wedding coordinators in the time that I was engaged, which was a little stressful for me, but it all turned out perfectly and I couldn't have been happier!
Rhodes Ranch was an exceptionally beautiful venue for our wedding in the Spring! The food is fantastic and the staff is very professional. Justine, the events coordinator is wonderful. I planned this wedding from the East Coast and it couldn't have gone smoother. I'm so thankful we had her!
Rhodes Ranch was able to give me and my Husband a wedding experience we will NEVER forget!
That place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I couldnt have ask for a more organized and helpful coordinator, Sarah. She was fantastic. Not only did she give her personal cell number to me incase I ever needed to contact her for something regarding my wedding or whatever but she would reply to all my emails with in the first 10 mins! Her personality is what sold us to choose that venue! THAT GIRL IS HALARIOUS!!!!!! The staff was great! They were polite and professional! Not one thing went wrong in my wedding. Everything was on time and food was DELICIOUS!!!
*** I Recommend anyone who is looking to get married and want a coordinator who works with your budget and actually gets to know you personally and make you feel comfortable and at ease through the process and a place the best views and nothing but beautiful green grass etc around.....I would pick Rhodes Ranch! They also are one of the best looking courses in town and offer the cheapest wedding that is way more luxerious and upscale then half these places in Las Vegas!
To all the past brides that are complaining it sounds to me the expectations were to high! A hired "personal" coordinator will do EVERY DETAILS for wedding.....a "Venue" Coordinator just hold your hand along the way and can give ideas and pointers.....a personal wedding cordinaotor cost $$$$$ as a venue coordinator is a part of your deal who is there to help but can only do so much since they do, especially Rhodes Ranch , a wedding every weekend!
But once again thank you to Sarah and Rhodes Ranch for making my day spectacular and unforgettable!
Aloha!
The venue is extremly beautiful and offers so many great backgrounds for amazing photos, but be prepared to do ALL coordinating yourself. I booked the venue a year in advance and as my wedding date drew close I had to harass the staff to get in touch with me just so I could pay them. The staff is unprofessional and unorganized so if youre hoping for help with organization dont count on it. The price is extremly reasonable but you get what you pay for. My family had to do most coordinating the day of my wedding, they made my aisle WAY too narrow, so my father, my dress and my self couldnt even walk down side by side. Also, they say they provide a golf cart to take you for photos by the waterfall on the property, and hour and a half after my ceremony after asking for a golf cart, they finally showed up. However I had to get to my reception and my photographer was out of time for photos so I paid to use the waterfall for photos but never actually got pictures by it. They also say they will stop traffic for some photos but that did not happen we had to ask golfers to wait ourselves. After I walked down the aisle I never saw the staff again, they disappeared and left me disappointed and feeling cheated out of $750 dollars.
Rhodes Ranch Golf Course was a beautiful place, don't get me wrong, but the service was less than great. The coordinator I started out with (Stacey), was AMAZING! Just a couple months after I booked them, she left and the got a replacement (Cheryl) who was there for 2 weeks and then they got another replacement (Sarah), I was not happy. They did not tell me they had another replacement until I asked for Cheryl, then they decided to let me know, thanks! Sarah was not nearly as amazing as Stacey. Everytime I met up with her I had to re-introduce my fiance (at the time) to her because she could not remember him! And a few times didn't remember me...wow. Throughout the planning I was not happy with her. 1 week before my wedding I get a call from Sarah saying there was a pipe leak in the reception area and it's closed for 2-3 weeks, so they will be putting me in a tent, NOT what I wanted! So I made changes to what I needed to, let my vendors know of the change, talked myself into being excited for the tent, to find out 2 days before my wedding, that the pipes were fixed and I'm back in the normal reception room. My parents (who paid for the venue) fought tooth and nail to get as much of a discount because of all the heartache I had gone through that week with them. In the end, my wedding was beautiful and amazing...but a lot of heart ache went on. I would reccomend them for their beauty, but not for their customer service.
Stacey at Rhodes Ranch was awesome. She helped the entire way though the planning to the end of our day. All the guests loved the place. She suggested our florist, Bunny, who was best. The florist called to check in with me along the way, which no other vendor did.
We loved how everything turned out. The cost was pretty reasonable compared to all the places we looked.
Oh my gosh... what to even say. From start to finish, having my wedding at Rhodes Ranch was the best decision to make. Having tried to plan from scratch on my own at first, I know how much work goes in to pulling off a wedding. Stacey was AMAZING and made me feel instantly so much better the first time I spoke with her. She took care of everything for me, letting me have as much input or as little as I wanted in each aspect of our event. They have vendors they work with for everything, who know the venue and work well with the staff there. We got so much more than we even expected, and at less than we expected to pay! The food was incredible, flowers were beautiful and the DJ was great. Rhodes Ranch is beautiful, the ceremony site over the lake with the mountains and palm trees in the background.. and the reception site being so close and convenient. It is perfect with a bar and dance floor inside, and an outside patio area where guests can chat with less noise but still see whats going on inside through the floor to ceiling windows. Most of all, Stacey really made our wedding experience memorable. She is so friendly and helpful, and organized! Any little extras I wanted were taken care of, and she had great suggestions for getting the feel of the wedding just the way I wanted. I felt right at home and very taken care of here. The staff are very professional and obviously love being there. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride. It is a little ways away from the strip, which makes it feel more personal and private. I am so glad we chose to have our special day here and am so thankful for all Stacey's hard work.
Chris and I looked for months and months for a venue that would meet our VERY modest budget and be the fabulous wedding we'd been dreaming of. Rhodes Ranch was the last venue we went to in our search and beat out the others by a long shot. The whole staff was wonderful through the entire process. Steve and Stacy were both excellent at helping to coordinate with me on all of the details that Chris and I worked so hard to have as part of the wedding, I was in constant contact with them via email and phone. I can honestly say I would change absolutely nothing about our wedding day. It was amazing. The property is a beautiful backdrop to set the mood for the ceremony and to use for some great photos! They took care of all of the set up including most of the decorations I wanted to use at the ceremony site and the reception hall. The reception area is so unique! It has a beautiful modern outdoor patio with twinkling lights at night, and there's an inside ares where the bar, dance floor, and extra seating are (That's also where we kept the food). They also recommended a great DJ , Greg Steele, who really did a wonderful job queing up all our songs and suggesting ways to improve the reception. Our reception was sooooooo much fun, dancing and singing and photos.... and everyone at the wedding has come to me and Chris and said "How beautiful the ceremony was" or "That was the best wedding I've ever been to." It was romantic, well organized, the food was delicious and everyone had a great time! Thanks Rhodes Ranch for making our day so special!
I love this place very beautiful backdrop, Steve and Stacey were very awesome and helpful they made my renewal of vows very special! Everyone loved the location the staff was great. Very nice the only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because it was hot like the air was off toward the end of the night, but it was still a very beautiful experience!
Rhodes Ranch is a great place for a reception. The outdoor covered patio is beautiful at dusk into night time. The indoor/outdoor combination of the venue makes it idyllic and unique. The party is inside with the bar and the dance floor, while the relaxing and elegant setting of the dinner and toasts are outside. The food is delicious and consistent. Steve is the food and beverage director and takes care of you from start to finish. He is great and makes sure you're always happy! I would have it there over and over again!
It was very cozy.;Food was just ok.
