nt. I was starting to worry I wouldn't find my dress, until I went to this place. My consultant Karina was kind, knowledgeable, upbeat, and extremely helpful. She put me at ease and made the experience really fun. I can't recommend this store enough!

The mother/daughter duo was the perfect touch to the most perfect boutique. The undivided attention & one-on-one service was unparalleled at the other locations we visited. They listened to what I "wanted" in my wedding dress, but they also noticed my body type & what might look good on me, so they suggested a few dresses I never would have chosen myself. I was dead set on sleeves & I ended up with a spaghetti strap dress! I received so many compliments on my dress at the wedding. It was absolutely perfect in every way & I can't thank Ricca Sposa enough for being a part of our special day. I will recommend this bridal boutique to everyone! Thank you thank you thank you!!

a dress. We had the back room to ourselves and a big couch for all my entourage to sit while I tried on dresses. Lucia was patient and I never felt pressured. I loved supporting a local family owned and operated business and the level of personalized service you get is incomparable to largely run bridal shops. The prices of her dresses were fair, as well as the elective alternations I had done to add sleeves and the quality was top notch. Ricca Sposa for the win!

es. Each call had a cheerful employee who was more than happy to answer any questions I had. I booked an appointment and arrived to their Kansas City location. It was clean and bright with beautiful dresses in the front room for easy dress selections. Karina and her partner greeted me immediately and made me feel welcome. I was the only bride at the shop, which made the appointment feel even more special, like I was the spotlight. Karina was deligent in making sure she knew my style and walked me through finding suitable dresses to try on. She encouraged me to try new styles without making me feel pressured and I actually love her recommendations! We found many dresses that had elements I loved but Karina was able to mesh them all together and create my DREAM dress. They were very accommodating and more than happy to do whatever necessary to make the dress what I envisioned. I felt like the bride I always wanted to be and stayed within my budget. s the most beautiful dress they have seen in a while or ever. Working with her couldn't have been easier. She responds quickly and making appointments was always easy. I had alterations made to my dress and the turn around time was 3 weeks earlier than I had anticipated. Most of my visits I made alone (which is never ideal) and she was honestly so supportive and professional, I do not have enough kind words to say about her as a person. The quality of the dresses are are amazing and not the styles you will find in any typical dress shop. Before my wedding began my 8-year-old niece asked if she could have my dress. <3

f our league. This couldn't have farther from the truth. Lucia made my daughter feel like she was the only bride in world during her appointment and she had the whole boutique to herself. Lucia does this to make each bride feel special and so she can dedicate her full attention to the bride. She was amazing. The dresses are unique and they are made especially for the bride and/or bridesmaid keeping alterations at a minimum. Lucia is so accommodating and so relaxed that the whole experience was pleasant, stress free and actually enjoyable. The prices of the gowns are reasonable and alterations were included in the pricing. Cannot say enough about Lucia and her professionalism and her sweet demeanor. HIGHLY recommend her boutique.

ad lost a dress size of weight. Even though it was intricate, the process only took 2 weeks. My associate really knew how a dress should fit and was just as perticular as I. The dress fit like a glove and I looked incredible on my wedding day!!

was very convenient and I didn't feel like I was showing the world my lady-bits. Lucia is extremely nice, accommodating and had plenty of options for me to try on. I was getting married on the beach, but the dress I fell in love with had a heavy-weighted fabric as the bottom layer. Lucia told me she could change out the bottom fabric of the dress, to a lighter weight fabric. The dress came in a few months later (if my recall is correct). It was the perfect fit!! There was even a built-in corset, that I wasn't expecting, but I LOVED it!

I explained the details of what I had in mind for a dress, they started pulling some that seemed fitting to what I was saying and that would fit by body type, sure enough it was exactly what I was looking for (and I just so happened to choose the first dress I tried on). To top it all off, Lucia was able to provide me with gorgeous jewelry and a veil to match the dress. I would highly recommend any bride looking for a little different style to check out Ricca Sposa. The service here is exceptional.

All of their gowns are unique, intricate, high-quality European couture gowns. I had a very specific vision of what I wanted my dress to be and Lucia perfectly captured it by having a gown customized for me with the original designer in Europe. I ended up getting my dream gown and a matching custom veil (all made from scratch and perfectly tailored for me) for the same price as if I had picked a dress off the rack that day!! I have never had better service or felt more special. This was the only dress store I visited, so I am one lucky bride for finding Ricca Sposa and would recommend them to ANYONE. The store is gorgeous and has a very private feel, and Lucia poured us champagne to toast and celebrate after I picked my dress. Whenever I go to the Plaza, I always stop in to say hello and look at her beautiful new inventory because I love feeling the magic of the day I found my dream wedding dress! As a former Miss Missouri, I have worked with a lot of dress stores and designers and have never had a better experience than I did with Ricca Sposa. Forever grateful to Lucia for her kindness and expertise!

ess I had received was nothing like the sample dresses I had tried on in the store. The material was stiff and not silky. It was a thick cotton. The applique was glued or ironed on and did not look like any of the other dresses in the store. The worst part besides the material was it did not fit properly. It did not cover my chest and it gaped in the back by my butt. The train was way to look and looked awful. The owner told me to stand up straight and get double sided tape. She never offered the free alterations she had originally sold me on. When I showed her that the bodice stitching was loose and unraveling, she ignored me and said that it was fine. When I told her that I needed more coverage on my chest because I was worried it was going to fall down, she said buy tape and stand up straight. My mom and I told her that we were very unhappy with the fit, the material and the over quality of how the dress was made. Lucia said she would refund us if we decided we did not want the dress. I slept on it and called back the next day to cut my losses because she had not offered any remedy to fix the dress via alterations, remaking it in the proper sample material etc and I asked for a refund as she had promised the night before. She told me she would call me back and her partner, who I had been previously introduced to as the alterations person of the shop, not a co-owner, said that Lucia was not from the United States and that she did not mean what she said to me the day before and they would not be issuing any refund. She said the dress was fine and that the lining was different - thinner than the sample dresses, but the outer material was the same. I said it seems like you are doing a bait and switch, where you have beautiful sample dress in store and you say we will make a custom one for you and then you have them manufactured cheaply in a different material than what you sell in the store and that is wrong. I asked her to feel the sample dress and feel my dress, as well as look at how the stitching was unraveling and the applique was not properly stitched - it was ironed/glued down - I even said maybe it was a manufacturer error, but I said it is NOTHING like what I ordered and I want a refund. She did not offer me anything to fix the situation, she just said we will NEVER refund you your money - you paid a deposit and we are keeping it. I then contacted my credit card company and disputed the transaction because the store had the dress and it was not what I had ordered. I won the dispute and was refunded my deposit. I had less than 3 months to find a new wedding dress and that is not stress I would put on any bride. A wedding dress is something every bride looks forward to wearing and is probably the most expensive dress a person will ever buy....a bride should not have to deal with a Bait and Switch shop like Ricca Sposa who seduces its clients with empty promises and then does not back their product. Please do not let this happen to you and do NOT buy from them.

She can add or change anything to the gown that you want. Her assistant helps with the process and makes it so simple! It takes 6-8 months for your dress to arrive and also alterations are included!! Over all an ideal personalized experience.

me feel great. Alterations are included in the cost, and we were able to REDESIGN my dress included in the cost of the dress! I went to two other salons after, though I had already put a payment down at Ricca Sposa, and nothing compared. There are a lot of beautiful wedding dresses, but this boutique is hands down the most luxurious and affordable. I highly recommend them for your dress and accessories!

I found the most gorgeous gown but was initially hesitant because it was different than anything I'd envisioned or seen before. After a second appointment, however, I knew I'd found my dress! Her prices are competitive with other salons in the area and alterations are included! (Who does that??) I highly recommend Ricca Sposa!
