Sania and the Saba Decor Rentals team were a pleasure to work with. They did a beautiful job on the decor, florals, and rentals for our three day Indian fusion wedding for 175+ guests, and worked very hard to deliver on my vision and make sure each event's decor was unique. She and her team responded promptly via email and even text (if it was urgent), and you can trust they will not let things slip through the cracks.
Sania is creative, easy to work with, and really cares about making your event the best it can be. She will guide you to what she thinks will work best, but is flexible to tailor things to your preferences and budget. I spent many hours in her office finalizing designs and she was so patient with me (and my 50 page design doc), willing to rework things when I changed my mind. She will draw out design proposals so you can imagine how it might look, and will also do one flower and tablescape preview so you can make edits in person.
Her florist is so talented and artistic; our florals were very close to what I envisioned, and truly transformed our venues. They had nearly every single thing we needed in terms of rentals including chairs, tables, linens, candles, lounge furniture, and more, and were so organized in set up and clean up. Sania's pricing was very fair, and she and her team put in a ton of effort and were very professional. I would work with her and the Saba Decor Rentals team again in a heartbeat!
I was very happy working with Sania on our wedding and reception decor! I wanted the least amount of florals possible and Sania made great suggestions for other decor items I could have that would still be elegant and fit the scale of our (large) wedding. The package she offered us also offered convenience since items required for a Hindu ceremony (havan kund, Ganesh, chairs for brothers, parents, jaimala, etc) were included. She has good ideas and helped us by presenting a lot of different options which were cost effective too :) Highly recommended!
We decided to go with Saba Decor after a lot of research and instagram stalking of different vendors. From the start, Sania was such a nice person to work with. Very creative and professional. Never once did she feel, to me, as a vendor but more as a friend. She understood our vision really well and her execution was more than what we could ask for. She was easy to communicate with and was always very responsive. Despite having to deal with heavy winds on the day of our outdoor wedding, she delivered such a beautiful mandap!
She was definitely a catalyst to making my wedding a lot less stressful. I wouldn’t have another wedding if she’s not going to do my mandap, haha ;)
Sania is extremely organized, creative, and has an incredible eye for detail - and that's why we chose her and her team for our wedding weekend at the Dolce Hayes Mansion. Since we were planning our wedding from New York and coordinating with family in California, we loved that Sania was able to facetime us into calls, schedule meetings with my parents, make trips to the mansion, edit last-minute revisions, and coordinate to the T with our wedding planner, to bring our visions to life. Though I'm a California native, it was almost a destination wedding because my husband's family and friends came from New Jersey.
We had a total of four events: Mehendi, Sangeet, Wedding and Reception - each based on a theme, and Sania provided flowers and decor for all. During our first meeting, she got to know us as a couple, really grasped the essence of who we were and what we liked, and helped customize each of our events based on the vibes we wanted to have. Though each of our events were unique, Sania helped us keep them all simple, colorful, and classic - just the way liked.
Out of all four events, our wedding and reception were the highlights, and till date, we still hear many compliments from our guests about how stunning our decor, customization, and planning were for those events. We wanted an outdoor wedding that highlighted the main elements of our South Indian heritage, but was also bright, floral, and rustic. Sania customized our mandap for us, and adorned the wooden pillars with strands of red, pink and ivory ombre flowers, brass bells, and a sheer ivory cover. We had flowers down the aisle, ivory and baby pink bridal/bridesmaid bouquets, and she helped provide and decorate the palki I was carried in as well. We had an Oonjal (swing) ceremony and Sania provided the brass swing and adorned it with ombre flowers (purples,lilacs, and ivorys). The whole set up with white chairs under our bright pink/gold tents was a vision in itself. With all the flowers and decor, it elevated our big day and made it something magical.
For our reception, Sania went above and beyond expected as well. We had an 'Around the World' theme because my husband and I love to travel. Sania was so creative with the theme during our cocktail hour: she worked with my mom to provide a globe, brought iconic pieces (eiffel tower), and had a travel luggage bag for our guests to leave presents and gifts. She decorated the ballroom into a stunning candle-lit evening, with champagne-peach colored tablecloths, gold-rimmed plates, three types of floral and candlelit centerpieces, a candle-lit grid for the stage and an ivory couch- all within our budget. To top it off, she helped me customize travel-themed signs for our His/Her drinks and cocktails. Sania was so personable, quick to respond to texts/emails, flexible, and always ready to give suggestions, that she slowly became family to us during this process.
Overall, Sania and her team wow-ed us. Even though there are many other indian decorators in the Bay Area, Sania really stood out because of her personality. Sania is honest, reliable, very friendly, and more than anything, flexible and understanding. She made the most out of all of our meetings in California, and made us feel comfortable and confident with every item we chose. She takes the extra step to get to know you as a couple, a family, and what a wedding means to you. I would highly highly recommend her to family and friends.

We hired Sania and her team to plan and design our pre-wedding Sangeet event in Carmel, and it was a fantastic decision! We wanted a very specific, modern-rustic Indian design, and Saba Decor hit it out of the park. Our event looked incredible and elegant, with beautiful table decorations and a custom Indian umbrella piece for the outdoor terrace. Sania was very professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process, answering all of our questions and incorporating last-minute changes into the design based on our budget. She also undertook a site visit down to the venue despite the distance to make sure that the decor fit with the space. We would highly recommend Saba Decor for any event planning needs!
We've worked with Saba Decor and Rentals multiple times this year and they have always delivered on their end. Decorations always make the room pop and they always bring something new to the table at each event. The team is easy to work with and our clients have always had a positive experience. Sania is a delight to work with and always on time to every event and well prepared ahead of time. She has gone out of her way to accommodate last minute changes from the clients. We worked with her few weeks ago and client requested setup at 3:00 AM. The event start time was changed to 7:00 AM last minute and she was there almost all night to make it happen for them. You can pick up the phone or email her and shes very responsive.
We hired Saba Decor to decorate our home for event. There were around 100 people. Saba Decor provided a backdrop and other rental items. They were very responsive and on time. They even let us keep the decor up for the entire weekend. This was a small event for them, but they executed it with professional and timely manner. We highly recommend them.

We didn’t want to task our families with this so we contacted Sania for her event planning services and she was able to connect me with her lead event planner. We discussed different packages and decided to hire Kanika as our day-of coordinator for our Sikh Wedding at San Jose Gurdwara. She handled our day of (which is month of) logistics. She helped put together our entire wedding timeline for all of our vendors and was our main point of contact. We did have unexpected events happen on our wedding day, Kanika stayed calm and was able to mediate all the issues. We can't thank Kanika enough for helping our big day go so smoothly. It was easily one of the best decisions we could have made to help us through the wedding planing process.

Sania did an excellent job decorating my wedding in March. She had a great vision and was able to give me recommendations that I wouldn't have thought of. She ended up doing the floral and the decor and it was completely worth it. It wasn't cheap, but I wouldn't change it for anything because she made my venue look magical. I didn't have to worry about any of the set up or break down and she was very accommodating when I changed my mind on things at the last minute.
She is also a very sweet and friendly person, so it is a pleasure to work with her!
We used Saba Decor to pick up some rental items for a party at our house. It was super convenient, we were able to call and book the items over the phone and pick them up in the given time window.
Best part, they only charged one time rental fee for the whole weekend.
We dropped off the rentals back on Monday in the given time frame.
We will be using them regularly for rentals.

Saba Décor Rentals and Sania did an amazing job organizing our corporate Diwali event. We decided to hold a last minute Diwali party for 80-100 people , and Sania was such a great help . Her one stop shop showroom had a large inventory and floral decorations which made things so much easier for me to organize. On top of that she also organized some mock tables for me which saved me a lot of time from mind boggling decisions and made choices easier.
I am definitely working with her in the future for all corporate and personal events.
Needed Saba Decor to do a high end brunch for roughly 75 people in San Francisco. They are extremely organized and accessible. Communication was the most important thing to me since we had a very short timeline and needed things to be perfect. It was beyond perfect. The communication alone was worth every penny. Texts and emails were responded to in lighting speed and we were very impressed by how organized and thoughtful the entire team was. The execution was flawless...we got exactly what we discussed, which can be tricky with some event planners. We will be working with them again.
Needed a great atmosphere for my very picky friends and family and Saba delivered! I really appreciated the attention to detail and the communication. I have dealt with other companies who take days to respond to emails and texts, but with Saba, I got a response right away. Every phone call was picked up or the call was returned within 15 minutes. As a professional event planner I'm super picky about who I work with. I hired Saba Decor to help me with my centerpieces and table deocr for my company's holiday party at the Oakland Rotunda. Sania was very responsive to all my emails, and even suggested good alternatives to my vision. Her team arrived on time for set up and break down. Her team is professional and her pricing is very competitive. I look forward to working with Saba Decor on many more upcoming events.
I had to plan my best friend's bridal shower for approximately 100-125 people and it was amazing how Saba Decor Rentals took care of everything without me stressing out or reminding them of things constantly like I have done in the past with other rental companies. Their owner Sania was extremely efficient with all the requests that we asked for and made sure that the place looked amazing as expected.
The best part was that they were extremely good with their communication and made notes on every detail that we requested for. I didn't have to make any follow up calls or texts , in fact she kept in touch with me to make sure if there was anything else that I was looking for or needed to add. Absolutely amazing experience working with them , would surely hire them for future events.
Sania with Saba decor rentals did a great job as a decorator for our Indian wedding ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend her for both South east Asian and any kind of western style weddings, or events!
Initially I had contacted a few vendors around Bay Area and wasn't quite happy with the options I received. Some of the vendors had way too traditional design ideas and inventory. Another issue was vague communication and proposal process, where they could provide an itemized list of decor items. And the biggest issue was a lot of vendors (and some really good ones) are not a one stop shop. Sania was actually the only vendor who satisfied all our requirements.
Her communication style is really great. At the first meeting Sania was able to put together a very detailed proposal with specific decor ideas. She was always available for questions during the whole planning process both via email and text. And the best part was that she was very open to design changes every time we had a new idea for flowers or for layout change.
I really liked that Saba decor is a one stop shop for all the wedding decor and florals (so you don't need to get a separate florist). We went with a package for the ceremony, which included a pipe and drape mandap, seating, havan kund, garlands and other traditional items. I really loved the modern and soft way mandap turned out in pastel colors with bright red, pink and white flowers. For the reception Sania provided all the table decor and did a wonderful job with large arrangements of red roses. There were a lot of flowers used for decor and I could not be happier with the look and quality of them.
Finally, Sania has a large inventory of decor, both for Indian and non-Indian events. She has a few options for mandap and seating, great variety of options for pipe and drape, a lot of sparkly lanterns, candle holders, manzanita trees etc etc She also keeps growing her inventory, so you are likely to find pretty much anything you want to decorate your event.
I also thought that Sania's pricing was extremely reasonable.
Sania was instrumental in planning my wedding. My wedding was the first one in the family. We learned as we went along and she held our hand through the whole process. She was very easy to communicate with and was ALWAYS available. I had spoken to about 3-4 decorators and her ideas was very fresh. Above all, she made an effort to understand what I like and the look I was going for. She decorated 4 different venues for me and each of them were unique and different from one another. She was very flexible and was always patient and understanding if I changed my mind about something. She is extremely well connected and resourceful. Having her on board minimized the number of my vendors tremendously. She helped get my chiavari chairs, the lighting for my venue, the dance floor, find a make up artist that I LOVED, she even sent a guy on short notice to fix the AC at my house as it broke during the hottest week of the summer.
As my mom would say throughout the planning, the answer to every question is "ask sania, sania, sania!" Extremely happy and satisfied. She will be my go to for any other events I do!
