Entertainment was wonderful to work with. Then, on my wedding day, the band showed up in just the most pleasant of moods. They were a part of my first look photos, and they added to the moment. There are no words to describe how perfect their performance was during our reception. Everyone was up and dancing! The talent in this band is unreal. You CANNOT go wrong with hiring this band. 15/10 :)

One guest even commented “this is the first wedding band I’ve seen that I would pay to see them in concert!”. The first dance and special request to parlay into the MOG happy birthday song was executed beautifully. Additionally, Josh was a fantastic emcee; he managed to keep it professional while still bringing high energy to “get the people going”! Angelica had the voice of an angel, and all around both were extremely versatile. One of the guests (a drummer) even commented that his chops were on point! I should also mention the pianist at the cocktail hour (and reception) did a fantastic job, we were very pleased with his song selection and performance. Overall this was easily a 5 star performance – our only complaint is that we didn’t want it to end!! Furthermore, the Sam Hill Entertainment family was a true pleasure to accommodate our needs. The logistics of Daufuskie Island certainly complicated things, and everyone took it in stride. They had great follow through and kept open lines of communication. We also had a lot of moving pieces as I’m sure all weddings do, but the professionalism they maintained and assurance helped keep us grounded so we could focus on our special moment. The best part is – they delivered, and we would be more than happy to recommend you to any prospective clients.

he band, Young Hearts is amazing. We had the best time! The dance floor was packed all night long and at the end of the night the "one more song" chants were in full force. We had so many compliments on the band. Everyone loved them from our college aged cousins to 85 year old grandma. We wish we could be their groupies and go to all their weddings! Their energy is amazing and set list has something for everyone. I can't say enough good things about Young Hearts!

They also did a great job of working together with our DJ to handle all announcements, special events such as cake cutting or toasts, and reminding guests to keep masks on. They were so professional and honestly made the night so special and took it to another level. I also know that the venue appreciated how they handled the arrival, set up, and clean up so smoothly.

The band manager was flexible, responsive, and professional. e we were on the same page. They ended up having a drummer, which worked out well because he played quietly (didnt know that was possible!) and provided a nice beat! Their music was great and we danced until the last song by Journey. I recommend them for any wedding. I recommend watching their highlight video because that's how they sound in real life =) I would hire them for another event. Also, Mike Miglino was great at the beginning and end of the process. Their administrative staff is timely and very responsive. The customer service, easy-to-understand contract, and zero drama band were all great!

f the band performing. Overall we decided to go with Affirmative Groove because of their sound and that there was no detectable auto-tuning. The process of booking the band, making payments, and communicating was a simple as it could get short of doing everything in person. On the day of our wedding Affirmative Groove provided an 8 piece live band for the reception and a keyboard accompaniment during the cocktail hour. We would first like to compliment the band on their abilities and sound, we couldn’t have asked for a better band to share in our celebration. They sang our first dance song ‘At Last’ by Etta James flawlessly as well as the song chosen for the father/daughter dance ‘My Girl’ by the Temptations. While we were not able to have the larger wedding we originally wanted due to COVID-19 pandemic, Affirmative Groove all but ensured a party. All of our guests complimented us on the band and how well they sounded! If I had one complaint is that the band was to me and husband, a little louder than we would have liked; I lost my voice trying to talk to the guests. Even with that said, I am sure I could have easily asked the overall volume to be turned down we just didn’t think about it. I can say this without hesitation, my husband and I would 100% choose Affirmative Groove for an event again and would encourage anyone looking for a wedding band to do the same. They made our day even more special and memorable.

While my husband and I were taking photos during cocktail hour, people kept coming up to us to say how amazing the cocktail hour trio was. We had a micro wedding with just around 50 guests but you never would've known because The Retreat kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Their song selection, energy, and talent kept everyone inside, despite the gorgeous mountain views outside. They far exceeded our expectations and made it an absolutely perfect night.

Our venue allowed us to easily meet the coronavirus protection requirements for Sam Hill bands. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Sam Hill again. Great experience all around.

rfect. You know the band is amazing when all of your weddding guests chant “encore” after the last song. At which pint the Finns looked at each other, smiled, and delighted us all with one more song. For years afterward we have had guests asking us who our band was so they can look into booking them for their own weddings. Highly recommend!
