If I could give Angie & her team 10 stars, I would! The planning process is stressful as is, and Angie made it a point to help me break things down into manageable tasks. She was communicative, prompt & professional every step of the way.
We worked so well together, it got to the point where Angie could read me like a book. Day of, she could sense when I felt stressed or needed a moment away from everyone and would act swiftly to ensure the day was everything we dreamed it would be. I would often refer to her as a ninja because whenever I said "I need to talk to Angie" she would literally just appear!
My only sense of sadness is that I don't get to plan more events with her! My husband & I are forever grateful for the magic she created with her vendor partners (who were all A++), and we cannot recommend Sapphire Celebrations enough! We love Angie :)

My wedding was absolutely perfect and magical all thanks to Angie! We could not have asked for a better wedding planner to work with than Angie at Sapphire Celebrations. She is super detailed oriented which really put my mind at ease knowing that I could relax and enjoy the process since she had a handle on everything. Hiring Angie was the best money that we spent on our wedding. We needed a day of coordinator for our location and she was the top preferred vendor for our location. I absolutely recommend using Angie and her team at Sapphire Celebrations. I found Angie about a year before our wedding and she maintained consistent and prompt communication with us throughout our wedding planning process! She helped us plan our wedding through unexpected losses in the family and was always there to answer all the questions we had on the wedding planning process. We chose the month of coordination and started working with Teri Hales. I cannot say enough positive things about Teri! She did a wonderful job throughout the day and handled all the stress behind the scenes to make our day so memorable. Sapphire celebrations plans many weddings and events at The Broadmoor which made communications with The Broadmoor so much smoother. 110% recommend using Sapphire Celebrations and their wonderful team. I hired Sapphire for wedding month-of and day-of coordination. The team gave us the level of care that exceeded our expectations, particularly in working with the venue, vendors, and other surprises that came along the way. I was grateful to have an expert at the helm with the planning team, and relied on them heavily with questions and suggestions, to which they were very attentive. They were especially supportive and went outside of their “normal” level of service when we had an issue even if it wasn’t their responsibility. I appreciated the truly human nature of each person I interacted with and I never felt like a number. Thank you so much for helping us make our day truly magical and special. We will never forget it!

Angie Johnston with Sapphire Celebrations was the best. Handled everything. I didn’t have to stress about anything she was so on top of it. Really made the whole day go by without a hitch. And I think having her as a full planner as apposed to just day of coordination was so worth it. We planned for over a year together and I really felt like she got the vision and knew exactly what I wanted and needed! I cannot emphasize enough how she took the stress out of wedding planning. They were absolutely amazing to work with in the months leading up to our wedding and they made our Wedding day so stress free and easy that we were able to enjoy every second without worry. Sapphire Celebrations is a 5-star event planner business. Angie and her team supported us through a wedding on private property. We had the barn and the views! Everything had to be brought in, organized and coordinated. Our family was able to enjoy the event because Sapphire Celebrations just took care of the details. Our daughter had a vision and Angie patiently helped to bring it alive. It was a beautiful wedding. They are wonderful and supportive! I would absolutely recommend working with Angie and her Sapphire Celebrations team! I am a Denver native, however, I currently live in Nashville. Angie was so helpful in scouting venues and vendors for us, and be our local eyes and ears for our Colorado Springs wedding. I was a bride with a lot of "ideas". She would listen to each one and help me source it for the wedding with a smile. Having her be on our team from the rehearsal dinner through the following Sunday allowed for all of us to enjoy ourselves, as she handled any and all curve balls. As a matter of fact, the day of the wedding a guest approached me and told me she also had hired Sapphire Celebrations for her wedding. I attended that wedding, and it was a beautiful affair. My daughter's wedding was so well received that I actually received notes from guests thanking us for including them, they used words like classy, bright, elegant, beautiful, happy, meant-to-be, joyful and blessed and oh-so-special day. It would not have been all that without Sapphire Celebrations and their guidance regarding options for venue, photographer, florist, music, room decor and all the rest that go into that amazing wedding day.

Angie and the Sapphire Celebrations team were incredible to work with! I found Angie 6 months before my wedding reception, and I truly wish I had hired her way before then! She helped me with everything, and talked me through so many decisions and conversations that would have been really challenging on my own. She navigated vendor relationships, found us incredible vendors within our budget, and helped keep everything organized. The day of, she made our vision into a reality, and we had the most spectacular evening. She helped with everything, from set up, to guest coordination, to keeping us on our timeline, and clean up. Angie and her team were AMAZING! Due to Covid, we had to reschedule our wedding twice. Throughout the entire rescheduling process Angie was integral in coordinating with our vendors and making sure that our vision was delivered. She was very responsive and able to provide sound advice on difficult decisions. On the day of the wedding she and her team were terrific in making the day go seamlessly. Our wedding day had a lot of moving parts and she made it all look effortless to us and our guests. Perhaps most importantly whenever we had concerns or anxieties she was able to put us at ease and simply say “Don’t worry, I’ll handle it” and she did. We have grown children and look forward to working with her on their weddings. We cannot recommend her strongly enough – you will not be disappointed!

o be successful at planning a wedding (or any type of important event), one must give 100% focus to make it successful, be proactive in communicating with the client, and pay attention to every single detail. A wedding is made up of a few big things (food, venue, attendees, etc), and 1000 little things. Sapphire gave our wedding approximately 82% focus, which showed in all the little details.
We entrusted Sapphire Events, and the primary planner Angie, with one of the most important days of our lives. She was warm and confidence-inspiring during our virtual and live meetings, then brusque in emails. Planning a Kosher wedding, in Denver, during the tail end of a pandemic presents challenges of its own, and we were impressed with how she got quickly and fully up to speed and coordinated with the local Vaad, the caterer, and the synagogue. She helped organize and finalize details for our Friday night and rehearsal dinners, and there were many times we said (or thought) “so glad we have Angie taking care of this.” She really shines in providing guidance with turning a vision into reality with decor and linen rentals.
Communication with Angie was great at times and infrequent/terse at other times. We were able to get comfortable after we set up weekly Zoom calls.
When it came down to the last few weeks - the lack of attention to details began to show. For example, we had planned to have 10-person tables, which dictated our seating chart, floral arrangements, linen rentals, and layout. A week before the event, we found out the tables only sat 6-8, so everything had to be changed. Another example is that we had cards on the tables for people to share suggestions for a happy marriage. The pens that we bought weren’t placed on the tables. Desserts were supposed to be served to the elderly guests from the dessert bar, but never were. A plate of food was supposed to be brought out to the bride and groom and a few members of the wedding party at a small Tish/Bedekken/ “first look” a few hours prior to the ceremony. This was never brought out, and the caterer later indicated that Angie told them not to worry about it. Part of our floral decor was supposed to be left at the venue, and the bouquets loaded into SUVs; Angie had no recollection of these instructions and we had to follow up directly with the florist to get our purchased items back.
These are just a few examples of how the details of our special day weren’t handled with the care or attention needed and expected from a professional wedding planner. It’s been over a week since our wedding. There’s been no email or phone call checking in, or asking for feedback on the experience. We considered the 5 months of wedding planning a very personal experience where we shared our lives with an unrelated person. To have zero follow-up on the experience is probably the saddest and most disappointing part.

While I know in hindsight you see some shortcomings in the service provided to you, I know Sapphire Celebrations fulfilled our contract with your mother. This is based on comments from both of you, your family and guests leading up to and on the wedding day.
Planning a wedding from start to finish in under 6 months takes clear and consistent communication. This was provided to you through an online planning portal, in person meetings, countless phone calls and text messages to relieve your concerns, weekly video planning calls, and too many emails with you both and your vendors to count. I made myself available to both of you, your mother and vendors whenever and however possible.
Regarding the catering on the wedding day there are some missing details in your allegations. The timing was confirmed regarding the food for the Tish with the catering staff. My team and I requested it several times while Brett and the gentlemen enjoyed their celebration. However, it was not delivered until after the group had moved on to the Bedeken. During the unveiling ceremony and ketubah signing there is no food, nor was there a table appropriate for displaying it during the ceremony.
When desserts and cake were displayed, I personally delivered cake to the entire head table. I then mentioned to your guests in their seats that the sweets were available. Additionally, I delivered Mr Coffee a cup of hot chocolate to enjoy. I asked the other guests at his and surrounding tables if I could get them anything to which they declined my offer.
At the end of the night I loaded as many floral pieces that would fit in the rented SUV with your four family members and their belongings. Putting more in the car would not have been safe for the driver or comfortable for your family. There was a miscommunication regarding the ceremony trees, however, they have now been delivered to your home by the florist.
I spoke with the livestream vendor directly regarding the unfortunate technology glitch impacting the recording of your ceremony. They went above and beyond to resolve the issue that was uncontrollable. Within 2 hours of you bringing me into the email conversation with the vendor informing you about situation, your response had become explicit and threatening. As per our contract, this behavior is not appropriate and breaches our contract. Inserting ourselves in the conversation once it got to that level would not have been productive.
The recommendation to set no more than 8 guests at a table was in honor of you planning the reception with a COVID conscious mindset. Seating was not finalized at this time and you continued to change it up to the week of the wedding. I worked with the florist to reuse pieces and make the additional tables as little of a financial impact as possible.
The special pens for the cards were set out on tables, however, only 6 were provided for the 11 tables at the reception. When this was brought to my attention during the reception, I provided the other tables with pens from our emergency kit.
I stand behind the service Sapphire Celebrations provided you throughout your planning and on the wedding day. We navigated questions and issues as they arose and ensured that all of your details and guests were well taken care of.

As someone who is very controlling, I was worried about giving in and letting someone else manage all the details of my wedding day. But, let me just say, I am SO glad I had Angie by my side throughout the entire process. From vender recommendations to handling all the nitty gritty details/contracts, she helped us navigate all corners of the planning spectrum with ease. She also helped ensure that my vision came life, even though I have a very opinionated and stubborn mother.

Angie was amazing. We really could not have done it without her. We lived out of state and relied heavily on her connections to vendors to produce a beautiful wedding. She was so pleasant, calming, and productive - she gave us such undivided attention that I couldn't believe she actually had other clients planning at the same time. Working with Angie as our day-of coordinator absolutely made our event go off without a hitch. In reality, "day-of" ended up meaning Angie was available to answer questions, coordinate vendors, and keep planning on track from the first day I met with her (which was months in advance of the date). She was extremely professional, organized, and practical. I had originally thought I would be able to coordinate everything myself, but Angie was absolutely indispensable, particularly with all of the details I had not even considered. Would highly recommend her services!

I was extremely lucky to already have Angie as a friend before getting engaged, but I can't emphasize enough how helpful it was to have her in my corner while we were planning our wedding. As a teacher I hardly have enough time to get my work done let alone search around for vendors and make contact with them, and having Angie's wealth of knowledge of the vendors in the area and their price ranges meant I didn't have to do ANY of that. Beyond helping to coordinate and contact vendors and manage contracts, though, Angie helped us to make sure our wedding day was perfect for us and exactly what we wanted, and I know it was not just because we are friends. I know that she puts the same personal care into all of her weddings and goes the extra mile to make sure they are perfect, and most important, that on the wedding day, the couple only has to think about the joy of the day instead of all of the little details behind the scenes. Angie was our day-of coordinator for our wedding at the Broadmoor. Angie's relationship with the hotel staff and other vendors ensured that our wedding weekend went perfectly. Angie and Sapphire Celebrations were one of the greatest decisions we made. I live in NY , and my daughter lives and works full time in Denver. We really had very little time to put in a full effort to planning a wedding. Angie was great in every way. She is organized, creative, a great communicator, a take -charge person in a nice way.

My daughter hired Angie to be her wedding planner and Angie really made the rehearsal and wedding go so smoothly! Whenever we needed anything Angie was there to help! I also rented Angie's office space for my daughter's bridal shower which was a perfect setting and location. Angie again was such a big help and made everything go so smoothly. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married.

Jaime was absolutely amazing. We were reluctant to hire a wedding planner. We thought we could do things ourselves with friends and family. We were wrong! Jaime thought of things that we may not have. She was kind, professional, helpful, organized and a marvelous communicator. She worked with us on the front end of planning to gather all information and see the vision. She helped with sorting out some frustrations with a vendor. Jaime made the rehearsal smooth. She helped make the day a dream come true. The whole bridal party loved her. My other daughters will absolutely hire Jaime when it is their turn.

Free and open communications with all wedding vendors less than 30 days prior to a wedding...
is critical to fulfill the Day Of portion of a contract. Sapphire Celebrations removed itself from the contract with the Client when vendor communications were forbidden and our obligations were no longer able to be fulfilled.

Hiring Angie from Sapphire Celebrations was one of the best decisions I made! I was doing all the planning myself and 2 weeks before the wedding, I decided it would be so helpful to have a "day-of" coordinator that can be in charge of the day and help with last minute details. I am so happy I did this! Angie stepped right in and started taking care of everything. It was like she had been a part of it the whole time. And honestly, I wish I would have hired her way sooner. She was so knowledgable and made everything so easy. She did a great job with communication and was just a really fun and awesome person to work with. The actual wedding day went so smoothly and it was all because of her! My parents actually got to enjoy the wedding instead of having to worry about set up and clean up and a timeline and getting tips to vendors. Angie took care of everything and was such a blessing to have! I would 100% recommend Sapphire Celebrations to anyone who is wanting a wedding planner. So stop looking and go book them now!

Hiring Angie with Sapphire Celebrations was one of the best decisions we made. My daughter and I both thought we could handle the wedding planning and logistics but about 5 weeks before the wedding thought we might like to have someone else handle all the “day of” details. Angie jumped right into the process 30 days prior to the wedding. She handled all the vendor confirmation details and coordination between the venue and vendors regarding schedules and deliveries. On the day of the wedding she and her assistant, Pam, had things under control so all we had to do was show up and enjoy the day.
Angie was a pleasure to work with. She is friendly, organized and detail oriented. She responded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner and always followed through on what she said she would do. She took care of all the last-minute details from receiving deliveries, overseeing the reception set up, tipping vendors and just making sure everyone in the bridal party was in the right place at the right time, so that we could just enjoy the celebration. If you want to insure you have a stress free wedding day, hire Angie and Sapphire Celebrations!

Without Jaime we couldn’t have pulled off our wedding! After being engaged for over a year with zero progress on planning the wedding, our family decided it was time to bring in the professionals. Jaime helped us pull off a fairy tale wedding in less than nine months – and with a New Year’s Eve wedding- it was no small feat! She helped us secure a fabulous venue and nail down a team of all-star vendors. Jaime’s meticulous planning and day of orchestration was nothing short of extraordinary. The day went off without a hitch (at least to our knowledge). I would highly recommend Jaime and Sapphire Celebrations!

Angie was a wedding life saver!!! Truly, I have no idea how people getting married with an Angie. From planning to the last few minutes of my wedding Angie handled EVERYTHING!!! I lived out of state, was going to school and moved to another state all while planning my wedding in Colorado. Angie made planning so easy and fun. She would offer me her top three recommendations for vendors and every single one of them was phenomenal! She truly knows the business and know who is good and who isn't. I would absolutely recommend Angie and anyone she recommends to help with you wedding! No doubts about it!

Angie was so amazing!! We're from Texas and we were doing a destination wedding at The Broadmoor and I have no idea how we could have managed without her! The entire day went so smoothly and she was there the whole time making sure everything was absolutely perfect! She even gave us schedules of events and times for the wedding weekend! I promise any bride-to-be that you will not regret using Sapphire Celebrations! Our decision to hire Angie as our "day of" wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made! Angie's experience and attention to detail was evident leading up to, and on our wedding day. Not only did she recommend the most incredible florist ever, she absolutely made my vision for the perfect wedding day a reality! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of her. Angie and Pam were so great! I hardly had to think about anything the day of the wedding, which was such a relief. They took care of all the decorations, getting the vendors in the right place, and they even figured out how to bustle my dress when no one else could! Overall, the wedding went smoother than we could have expected and I know a lot of that was due to having a great "day of" team. Thank you Sapphire Celebrations!

The worst decision we made during the wedding planning process was hiring Sapphire Celebrations. Having Angela as our planner only added to stress, frustrations, and cost and very little value added. She consistently told us she was providing things that she would forget about or get to us so late that it was no longer useful or sent me information that I was able to find in my own internet research.
My bridesmaids, hair stylist and venue staff did way more of what we expected her to do than what she did. Little things like maybe checking in with the bride and groom the week of the wedding, or letting her know you're on the way to the venue so she's not left wondering if you're showing up, or checking in with the bride the morning of the wedding, or having a bottle of water when you're out in the hot sun before the ceremony would have been nice touches that would have made it a little better but it was a complete fail.
All of my vendors, bridal party, and family were left in the dark. We expected her to contact people sometime well before the week of our wedding. No one knew where to be and when. She didn't proactively communicate with us throughout the entire process even though she was hired for more than just the "day of" service.
I have so many specific examples of where she dropped the ball but only limited space here to go into it all.
Very disappointing experience!!

I wanted to take the time to rave about my wedding planner...
This was a service I was hesitant to use, I thought I could do it all myself. I ended up hiring Sapphire Celebrations for their "day of" service and thank goodness I did! You have no idea how much you need a coordinator until the day of your event and you have a problem! She handled the issues I had wonderfully and without me having to stress about anything. She was willing to do anything to make everything perfect for me and for that I'm so grateful! And she also set up my décor beautifully. I can't thank you enough Ang!

If Angie was there to take care of everything, I would have been bridezilla. She handled everything so I(we) could enjoy the day and not worry about the logistics and vendors. Everything was on-time and in order. Angie handled everything, I didn't have to worry about having friends and family set up and tear down stuff. She saved the day!

I used their services for a day-of wedding planner, and she made my wedding day run smoothly, and had an amazing positive and encouraging (as well as calming) attitude while she did it. Sarah Welt was wonderful. When we had a disagreement with our venue in the days preceding the wedding, Sarah had the general manager on the phone in less than an hour and the "tone" of the disagreement changed completely.
We were treated with the best service I could have imagined, Sarah answered panicky emails in the middle of the night, was on the phone any time we needed her, and most importantly was attentive and noted every little detail so that on the big day, she did EVERYTHING behind the scenes to let us sit back and enjoy it. She was the "glue" that kept everything happening the way we planned and made us feel completely at ease.
I can't have imagined working with anyone else.

Angie was my "day of" coordinator for my October 19th, 2013 wedding. She did absolutely fabulous! I had everything organized and planned during the months leading up to the wedding and was looking for someone to help with all my last minute questions and all the logistics leading up to the last couple weeks of the wedding. I could drop off a ton of things with her before so I would not have to worry about them the morning of (toasting glasses, guestbook, favors, vases, etc.) which was so nice. Over the course of the evening, everything ran smoothly and I could really just ENJOY my wedding! When it was time for our "grand exit", Angie said, don't worry, all your bags are in the car and there's some cake in there for you as well! It was so nice having all of her expertise and coordination so I didn't have to stress and worry on our special day.

My wedding was planned via phone and Pinterest. I never met Angie prior to a couple days before the wedding. Every detail no matter how small was handled well. I'm a big believer that you get what you pay for - I couldn't believe all I got from her for such a low fee!

Sapphire Celebrations did sucn an amazing job at my daughters wedding. It never seemed as if they were scrambling to get things done - they always had everything under control. Hiring sapphire celebrations was absolutely the best descion (other than my husband) that I made for the wedding! Angie is amazing!!! Between my husband and I we have a massive family and we needed all the help we could get. I'm in medical school and had very limited time. Every appointment we had she meticulously planned so we could meet vendors that fit our style. She watched every detail and made sure everything was completed in time. The wedding was planned and organized thanks to her! The day if the wedding went off without a hitch. My family made so many comments after that they had never seen a wedding run so smoothly before. Sapphire celebrations is amazing. I cannot thank them enough!!! Angie is so wonderful, she just makes you smile and will then help you pull off the perfect wedding. Honestly if you need any help planning or need a day of coordinator you need sapphire celebrations!!! Thank you so much for everything!

Sapphire Celebrations was fantastic. When planning our wedding, my husband wasn't really sure we needed someone to help us but I convinced him that this would help us in the end. I am sure glad I did! He was so ecstatic with their help that he even gave Pam a shout out in his wedding toast. The day of services were a lifesaver. Pam was there to make sure all the vendors did what they promised and were on-time. She also helped to coordinate the men on our wedding day to make sure they did everything we needed done and weren't late for the big day! I grew up in Denver but currently live in Phoenix so Pam and Angie were a great help in recommending vendors and helping me make some tough decisions. I cannot recommend them more strongly.

I can't say enough about how fabulous Sapphire Celebrations was for my wedding!! From the minute I met Pam I just knew that she would be my wedding coordinator. She was ready to go with ideas and advice before I even hired her! I truly know that my wedding would not have been the wedding of my dreams without Pam and Sapphire. She was more than willing to work with me on a price that fit my needs. She also came through with the perfect vendor recommendations that truly fit what we wanted for our special day. Pam also was quick to respond whenever I needed her, as well as handle all of the little details that I just didn't think of. She also came through within the day of me letting her know that our officiant was no longer able to do our ceremony by getting us in contact with somebody that turned out to be perfect for us. This was so close to the wedding, and I didn't have to worry for a minute!
As for the day of the wedding...I could not have done it without her. She was there for the rehearsal through the wedding. I didn't even have to think about anything but enjoying the day, knowing that Pam was there to oversee and get everything set just the way I wanted.
I HIGHLY recommend Sapphire if you are thinking of getting a wedding coordinator...even it is just for the day of the wedding, you won't regret it!!

In the interest of full disclosure, Angie is my friend from college. That doesn't change my review one bit, though.
Sapphire Celebrations made everything run so smoothly on my wedding day, and provided me with so many great vendor recommendations that I can't thank them enough!
I can't think of a single thing that I would do differently. The prices are very reasonable and their help was invaluable while I was planning my wedding. I grew up in Denver, but I'm living in Chicago, so I didn't have a lot of resources. Angie put me in contact with vendors for photography, hair and makeup, limo, DJ and officiants. I had a really hard time choosing, since everyone we met with was so great!
Angie also helped me compare the packages of the venues I was considering and make sure that I was comparing apples to apples with prices before I made a decision. Her budgeting tools were also really helpful to keep track of what I was spending. I actually came in under budget!
The best part of working with Angie was the day-of coordinator services. Angie put together a time-line and made sure everything ran smoothly on my wedding day, even though we got behind in hair & makeup. She dealt with some unexpected guests so my mom and I didn't have to, and everything came together perfectly. We had a great time at our wedding and I've got Angie to thank for it!
