After reaching out to her after checking out her amazing portfolio, which I loved for how bright and romantic her pictures were, she got back in touch with me immediately and we set up a Skype interview. She took the time to talk with me for nearly an hour going over everything from my vision for the day to a potential timeline for the entire day (incredibly helpful for someone who had NO idea what I was doing). Our wedding was in Texas, we live in Georgia and with Sarah in Minnesota I was a little bit hesitant about how difficult it would be to plan, but all that worrying was for nothing, Sarah completely took charge and was on top of everything! She helped plan our engagement photo session and scouted out places that would make for the most beautiful pictures. She flew all the way to Savannah for our engagement shoot and spent a ton of time with us making sure we got the perfect pictures. Sarah was so relaxed and helped us to relax as well. She helped us out with how to "pose" for pictures (because we had no clue), but all of our pictures look incredibly natural. The photos from our engagement session were incredible and even better than I could have ever imagined. They had the bright, romantic air that I fell in love with in her other photos and were just stunning. For the wedding, she flew all the way to Texas for us! She spent so much time making sure she got pictures of all the small details prior to taking pictures with the bridal party, like the flowers, decorations, invitation suite, rings, tables, etc that I feel is sometimes overlooked, but is so important. Prior to the ceremony she took photos with the bridesmaids and groomsmen and again was so helpful with making sure our pictures were perfect, but still look relaxed and natural. Her photos of the ceremony and reception were perfect and she made sure to get all of the important moments and then some. After the wedding, Sarah had our pictures completed and back to us at lightening speed, like she must have slaved away to get them back so fast. And, you guys, the pictures are STUNNING. After our engagement pictures I had no doubt the wedding pictures would be amazing, but I was left totally speechless. The pictures are even better than I could ever imagine. We had a long engagement (about two years) and booked Sarah pretty early on and throughout the entire engagement Sarah was great about keeping in touch with me, checking in to see if I needed anything, making sure all the timeline details were nailed down, etc. I can't say enough about Sarah and how happy I am that I was lucky enough to stumble upon her website in my search for a photographer. ment photos, I knew I made the right decision. My husband is definitely not a fan of getting his picture taken but Sarah made us both feel extremely comfortable. The end results? AMAZING!!! Same with our wedding! There’s not one photo that I’m like “eh could have done without that one”. She got every shot and was willing to add more that I wanted. do not yet have my wedding photographs (it was not long ago) we were beyond thrilled with all of our engagement shots. Sarah easily directs, asks for your input and takes the time to get to know you and your significant other in order to get photos that capture you as a couple. /needed. Sarah did an excellent job coordinating wedding party photos, and was enthusiastic and encouraging throughout, providing direction as needed for our rowdy group. Sarah was very accommodating from the beginning, substituting an engagement session (which we already had) for photos at our rehearsal dinner.
