Sawatdee Thai Restaurant

Cyndy at Sawatdee is awesome! She literally catered to our every need. When the pandemic hit and we lost our venue, we had a really tough time finding a replacement that was available. She offered to use her huge restaurant in Minneapolis for a really great price. The food was amazing as usual and the service was awesome. It is walking distance to the Stone Arch Bridge where we took our formal photos at too! We highly recommend Sawatdee 100%. Cyndy was constantly available by text, email, and phone, incredibly responsive. She also assisted us in the planning of the layout for our event. Every detail was gone over and excecuted perfectly. Some of our guests actually thought Cyndy was a long time friend --that is how well she worked with us for our wedding. Best decision ever!

My husband and I were looking to offer a less traditional food option for our reception and we are so pleased we chose Sawatdee! Cyndy was excellent to work with from the get-go; she was responsive and patient with all our questions. She even stopped by our venue the day before the wedding to drop off table linens so we were able to decorate without having to wait for her staff to arrive! We felt the cost for a buffet line was very reasonable and our guests were pleased with the variety and quality of food (and I must add the spring rolls and wontons are delicious!). Sawatdee was also our alcohol provider. While there were a few limitations were experienced (e.g. Prosecco was costly and there were some limitations to purchasing a keg), we really appreciated the ability to get reimbursed for unopened bottles of wine, and the convenience of having a full service caterer (providing alcohol and food) cannot be beat! If you're looking to offer something different for your guests, we highly recommend Sawatdee for tasty food and excellent customer service!

Sawatdee was amazing to work with, and the food is incredible! Cyndy was a breeze to work with, she was super responsive and helpful with navigating logistics, quantities, budget concerns, and dietary needs. The day of the wedding, everything went super smooth, and the staff was lovely. They were able to provide for all our food needs, from linens to dessert, and even to-go containers for our guests to take home leftovers. All this for what seemed like a very reasonable price compared to some of the all-inclusive packages we saw elsewhere. Sawatdee also staffed the bar at a great price, which cut down on coordinating vendors. We even received a credit for all unconsumed liquor, so we were able to provide our guests with as many drinks as they wanted without worrying about over-ordering. We would recommend Sawatdee to anyone! This food is memorable, everyone thought it was delicious, and it easily navigates most major dietary concerns. Planning a wedding is really stressful, but having Sawatdee as a caterer made this portion stress free. People told us that you don't really get a chance to eat at your own wedding, but we were not about to miss out. We enjoyed every bite!

Sawatdee was absolutely amazing! I'm a grad student/preservice teacher so quite busy and Cyndy was nothing but patient with my hectic emails. She made everything super easy even though I probably made her work harder with late replies and continually changing headcount. I really appreciate everything she did for us! As for the event, her staff had everything set up by the time we got there and they remained unobtrusive throughout the reception. The food was delicious, and the staff even left some containers for us to send people home with leftovers in. I would highly recommend Sawatdee to anyone hosting an event and would happily have them cater for us again!

Cyndy is wonderful to work with, we hired them for our Wedding dinner and bar service. She created numerous pricing for me and went out of her way to make my guests happy! I would hire Sawatdee at my next event for sure!
