Seasonal Catering

Seasonal Catering did a great job with our wedding. We are so happy with their work and would like to recommend them to friends and family and anyone in the southern CT region.

Jim and Michelle and their team did a terrific job on our daughter's wedding. It was an outdoor wedding at a private home on a very hot day. The food was beautifully displayed and prepared and the service was excellent. We particularly appreciated their attention to detail in dealing with our daughter's many food allergies. They were great to work with throughout the process and helped us with making decisions on a lot of the details of the day. We would highly recommend working with them.

We originally hired Seasonal just as our caterer, but were quickly so impressed by the quality of service that we also hired the manager, Michelle, as our wedding coordinator. Michelle and Jim made our wedding the absolute perfect day. Everything that came up was handled with grace and professionalism, even having to adjust the seating chart the morning of due to many family members falling ill and suddenly not being able to attend. What could have been a stressful day was instead beautiful and joyful, and it was all due to Jim and Michelle. Our guests came up to us multiple times to tell us how much they loved the food and decor, and the vendors felt well taken care of and respected. I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the area!

I cannot say enough positive things about Seasonal Catering. They really took the time to listen to us and have a conversation to really get a sense of who we are as a couple and what we wanted for our wedding, and then they more than delivered. The food was DELICIOUS and beautifully presented. Michelle was incredibly patient in answering all of our questions and making changes throughout the process. The entire staff was friendly, organized and incredibly helpful on the day of. An incredible experience with them start to finish!

Michelle and Jim from Seasonal Catering, where do I even begin! We were so lucky to be able to get this incredible team for our event. From our first zoom meeting to our wedding day they were always available to answer any question we had or help us figure out problems as they arose while keeping us both at ease. They worked with us on every detail even ones we didn't even think of and handled every curve ball we threw at them. On the day of our wedding, they got the event off without a hitch. Michelle brought all the perfect decor items to make our wedding really stand out and I had guests coming up to me constantly singing their praises. They even handled all the rentals we needed and all of their staff could not have interacted with our guests better. There was rarely a line at any station, even the bar! Do not sleep on the autumn gin cocktail or their carrot risotto with braised short ribs! The French fry bar is a must!

We are beyond happy and grateful we went with Seasonal Catering to cater our special day. They had excellent communication in the planning phase, and met every single one of our needs and requests. They even went above and beyond to make sure every last detail day of was perfect. We wanted a custom Italian influenced menu that used locally sourced and mostly organic, gluten free and plant based ingredients- and they definitely delivered. The menu they created was perfectly suited for us - and not only was the food incredible, but it was beautifully presented as well. The service staff were very accommodating and attentive. Also, as we had a small outdoor reception and no wedding coordinator, Michelle was so helpful in ensuring smooth transitions throughout the evening. We highly recommend hiring Seasonal Catering for your wedding!

My husband and I used Seasonal Catering for our July wedding and could not be happier. Not only did Jim and Michelle create delicious food, they decorated the food area beautifully and added touches to the tables. From the initial conversation, Jim and Michelle were easy to get in touch with, replied quickly to every question and helped navigate all communication with the venue, taking away stress from us. I would absolutely use Seasonal Catering again and recommend them to anyone looking.

When we were putting together our DIY wedding in my parent's back yard, we were challenged with finding catering that would be genuinely outstanding food, especially at a price we could afford. If you're looking for a unique, locally-sourced, delicious menu I highly recommend Seasonal Catering. I still get comments about how good that food was... it was once-in-a-lifetime good!

The goal for our wedding was to have a good time. Having good food was not a priority for us. The food, however, was outstanding!! Several people commented how good the food was. It was also displayed in a way to complement our theme. I met these folks at a bridal show and liked them immediately; turns out I have good instincts!!

We are SO glad that we chose Seasonal Catering for our backyard wedding!! Jim and Michelle helping my wife and I customize our menu so that it felt perfect for us, and aligned with our story and what we envisioned for our big day. They were so patient with us as we figured out what worked with our budget, while promising that the quality would not be compromised no matter what we chose. And boy did they deliver! Any guest that we asked said that this was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. The presentation was beautiful, the food was unique and delicious, and the staff were some of the hardest working people I have ever seen at an event. The team also stayed well after the reception was over to ensure that my sister-in-law's house was spotless and looked as if the wedding never even happened. The ONLY critique that I have is that the communication could have been a little better over email. At times, we had to wait quite a long time to have questions answered, which got to be a little frustrating. However, at the end of the day, that was such a small part of our entire experience with Jim and Michelle, and I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a locally-sourced, farm to table, customized experience for their wedding!!
